It's nice to see that they're giving us fair warning on a change to weapon mechanics; one can assume that they don't feel a need to give advance notice of buffs/debuffs that don't change how a weapon works. Still, you think that we're going to see weapons balanced any time soon? I got a fountain in Haven to sell you...
It would be nice to have some information since it's been just over four months when it was originally alluded to. Especially since it hasn't received it's own official post like the Antigua line change or the Crystal Bomb line change has received.
The Magnus-style guns are all still getting a buff. Various issues have prevented us from releasing it sooner, but it's coming.
I have a Mega-Magnus since forever, never upgraded cause I didn't like it. If I could at least walk while shooting, but I guess with buffs I'll upgrade it.
We want to know when Magnus lines will be buffed.
Months, days, years, lifetimes, a side of fries.

And I'm gonna make an iron slug if the buffs prove to be useful. Already have a callahan, but it might be worth it as a support gun with three swords. Hmm.

I am kind of bummed about the RSS change, too, but I am also excited. Why? Because the mechanic sounds like it's going to be so much fun to use. Still. R.I.P. current Sun Shards. You will be missed. D:
I know many Lockdown players which hate the sunshard bomb because the bullets are able to fly incredible far away. And I understand them. So it will not be missed at all.

I myself own a RSS, I will miss the old version of it, but I am excited to try out the new style.

That's an idea; I'm thinking of something like a multi-bullet shot or a splitting charge that forks instead of rebounds.
^ Im a bit disappointed about the changes to the RSS. I've seen the changes on the test server and seems like a massive nerf.
A single old-style shard bomb can strike one properly positioned monster 3+ times.
So unless the new shard bomb preserves the multi-hit ability (or New RSS manages to yield 600+ damage on a single FSC Slag some other way,) it most certainly is a nerf.

As far as I know and have read into, no changes have occurred or been announced as of yet.

I'd wait until they actually announce that they're changing it for realz, Byas. You know, put it on the testing server, dress it up, have players pay to test it, disregard testing feedback that goes against guns shooting bullets and swords doing a mix of the two...
It was just a mockery/joke... But who knows, maybe they will come with something like; "the knockback that the gun causes on the player is not gun-like so it will become an antigua that shoots bombs".

Was thinking of Shock. It would be kind of intriguing to have a Shock status on a Magnus line though. But this is not an Alchemer.
It would be so fun to stop enemies further with this gun, I could almost imagine it. Speaking of stopping enemies, this gun could be a bad crowd-control gun with Shock. Renewing its sole purpose of being adorably useless. 0_0
Investing for it, then wait for a buff, and also, because it has a matching shade of cerulean for me. ^u^ I think Callahan should retain the yellow bullets though, since it still deals Piercing damage. The Iron Slug should have the blue ones instead.
Let's hope it is part of the changes in an upcoming weapon release/change/buff patch that has been alluded to recently.
