New PvP mode: Super capture (Combined with lockdown and Blast network)

Greetings everybody. I would like to suggest a new PvP mode called "Super capture". So basically I'm fusing Blast Network and Lockdown in one. So the only weapon you have is a bomb. There will be bases everywhere. There will be new maps too! The bombs you will be using will be your team bomb. Base on your team color, you will get a type of bomb. For example:
Red bomb - Fire
Blue bomb - Freeze
Green bomb - Poison
Orange bomb - Stun
Aqua bomb - Shock
Curse bombs will be over powered
Another way we can sort this out is maybe we can have each member have a random bomb. Maximum players would be 5 on each team. So it could be a 5v5 match.
We can also have bases where only the certain colors can capture. The map will indicate which team has captured the base. For example:
Benightz: Green bomber
Oatmonster: Orange bomber
Atrum-vindex: Pink bomber
There are 10 bases for example. Let's just say this is a base map.
( Orange ) ----- ( Pink ) ------------------------- ( Green)
------- ( Pink) --- ( Orange ) ------ ( Green)
So I am green, and I would only be allowed to capture the green flagged base. The map will show it as gray. Whichever team captures it, the map will show which team color capture it. So you would have to fight for the bases. Oh, and you must only capture your bases. You can also try to "Help" others. So in this case, the person cannot capture it, but the bomber would be able to help defend the base. So the bomb can kill anybody. Anyone. I can even try killing a pink player in the other team's color.
Anyways, there would be some new maps. Here are some I would like to put on:
Clockworks Technology
It is a clockworks area where it would look like some sort of technology. So maybe we can have a base platform and a small pathway to the main area or hall. There would be like 10 bases and the bases would have a random "Colored" flag.
Let's fire it up
This would be in a area where there would be cannon's shooting rockets. So in this case, there would be gremlins in charge of shooting the cannon. If you accidently hit the gremlin, you will make the gremlin shoot the cannon 2 times. In order to stop him, you would need somebody to use the stun bomb to make him shoot slower. (Yes, I know it looks like the same as the PvP suggestion for the bumper cars.)

Poison can sometimes be a useless status. It only stops you from healing, and there is no heart generators except the base. Either way, it doesn't do much.
Do they still inflict damage from the initial detonation or is it just a status cloud?
They will recieve both status and damage. Depending on the effect, you can combine your bomb effect by putting the bombs together. That will make the person have 2 effects at once. Also the main rule is there will be colored based where each bomber can capture. So if there is a orange bomber, they can try to aim at the orange base. Once a bomber captures it, there will be a flag popping up the base pole indicating which team member got it. So if there is team 1 blue, and team 2 yellow and I'm a blue member that captured a base, then it will show a blue flag at the pole which will be located in the middle of the base.
Do we use our own equipment, does it not matter as with Blast Network, or can we choose among a few options (one for damage, another for faster placement, etc.)?
Bombers will get to choose either in speed mode or damage mode. If they don't pick, they will be assigned with a random one. In fact, we can have one in the base. One will be striker and one will be Power Smasher. It can be a new feature.
Why is there a curse one when that is the obvious most valued status, and after finding out who got it would cause everyone else to leave because they got the normal statuses instead?

Are we going to stick with the tier scales, or are we going to use minigame equipment with minigame bombs (starting with the 2* cloud radius and duration if inflicted) which can be upgraded during the round? If upgrades are involved, would they be obtained through capturing points for your team (team A caps and gets X upgrade points for some stuff, but B can capture that same point after and get X upgrade points as well; does not take upgrade points from each other) or is it just slapping a tier appropriate radius on everyone to make it completely skill based instead of choosing different bonuses for different results?
The game will be sorted by Tier. So you will be using your own gear. It's the same rule as lockdown. You wear your own gear and you will get more life and hearts. The bombs will be the one that I linked on this comment. No upgrades. We can't have people bringing their own bombs because if somebody only has a blast bomb, then it would make it boring and unfair. Everybody needs a status so the game will assign you one. Unless you have one already equipped, then you will use the bomb. The point of this game is to capture a base. There will be one for each base. Then the other team can try to capture the other bases. You need to use the bomb, capture your colored base and you get a capture point. There will also be bonuses like vials dropping out of nowhere. Or maybe a new thing like a bonus item. It will double your damage and double your speed. Only for about 30 seconds or a minute

This has a lot of restrictive teamplay on it.
And a curse bomb.
Why not just give everyone Vaporizers (among the existing lines, but without the damage from the initial blast), starting with 2*, then grab upgrades that randomly appear for their bomb? If teams are five on five each member gets their own status (fire, shock, freeze, poison, stun) which is randomized and may not be traded among team members. People would only be able to damage using the status, not the initial blast or anything else in terms of weapons or projectiles, meaning if you are not using a damaging status you have to do a support role. More people learn about support bombing.
If we go with the above then having to capture points would be a distraction, just have them kill each other with statuses. Points per kill, maybe some of the above mentioned upgrades dropping randomly on the map when people die.

All bombs are equal. Tier 1 is 1* bomb, Tier 2 is the 3* bomb and Tier 3 is the 5* bomb. We can use the bomb line.

What is the bomb like? Like, blast bomb or BN bomb, or what?
My issue with this idea is that it's not unique from LD in a really interesting or driving way. It restricts your behavior on the map (specific capture points), sure, but to be honest I don't see how this concept adds much to gameplay. As for the actual combat piece, it'll just be bomber vs. bomber. If done with blast bombs, this is boring because no one ever gets hit. If done with BN bombs, it would have to be in a BN area because it'd be a bit too easy to avoid death. The only way bomber vs. bomber could have ever been really interesting is in a RSS vs. RSS, which I was sad never happened. Woulda been so cool, especially in 2v2 or 3v3.
This just doesn't have the same potential for deep gameplay that LD, BN and SBM (shield bump mayhem) have. BN has the capacity to involve complex logic and strategy, LD (though the unbalances mask this a bit) has a fun combat engine, wide variety in weapons and tactics, and capacity for large-scale strategy. SBM makes an excellent evasion game, relying more on skills found in the clockworks than the other PvP modes, leaving plenty room for teamwork and strategy when in a team match, and the simple and somewhat hard-to-kill-someone-with combat system rewards creativity and alternative thinking in bringing about your opponent's demise.

Bomb statuses should not be chosen based on what team you are on. Essentially pink team always wins. I don't think capture points should be team specific, unless you wanted some sort of attacking and defending team situation, sort of like BF3's rush game mode. What kind of bombs are they? If they are just blast bombs, this would be pretty boring. Have you ever been in a Nitro vs Nitro fight? There needs to be some distinction between this and playing bomber in LD.

I'm going to make a new text.
Each team will have a team color. Each will have 1 type of bomb not based by there team color. So here, I have an example:
Team 1 (Blue)
Oatmonster - Curse bomb
Benightz - Stun Bomb
Addisond - Freeze bomb
Luguriu - Fire bomb
Aureate - Shock bomb
So basically, the type of bomb won't be there, but you get a random type of bomb. That's how you read the team chart. So each member will have a different bomb, but on the same team. Bombs will not be sorted based by team. There would be like about 10 bases. Also, each member will wear a flag behind them. So if I'm in Team 1 (Blue), I would be wearing a blue flag on my back.

What if someone leaves? Does the bomb you have change on death? Probably not, but I'm not very clear on that point.
You still haven't answered what the basic mechanics of the bomb would be. Also, would you have to bring your own armor? Trinkets? Could you bring your own shield, would you be issued a shield, or would they be not allowed altogether?

Better than a team getting a certain bomb, but I'm concerned what happens when players leave.

You are allowed to pick a bomb. If you don't pick one, you get a random bomb. So there is a maximum of 2 types of bombs per team. 2 can pick curse at a max for the team. I think we can put 6v6.

You may bring your own armor.
Yes you may bring trinkets.
Shields are allowed. Thats the only way to block yourself from a bomb attack.
The bombs will be in the bomb line. You can take any.
I'll answer your "Mechanical" question later. I will post it up tomorrow or so. If someone leaves, all members will start to be a bit more powerful. Especially if almost the whole team rage quits. Then if only 1 person is on the team, the person will be very powerful. More health being added, and more damage with the bomb

Instead of having shock bombs be green make them blue and make the ice bombs white, anyway +1 id love to play this =D

@Benightz, You're going to have to be more specific. The bombs coming from the "bomb line" really says nothing. If you have to bring your own armor, and thus bring your own CTR, wouldn't this game be pretty unplayable in tiers one and two? without UVs, it is impossible to obtain CTR max on bombs before tier three, that plus the very nature of bombs means this would be a rather slow and uneventful game mode. This is furthered by shields, now you can just block any explosions you happen to waltz into. This also begs the question, what type of damage do the bombs do? Also, who gets to choose their bomb first? How would capturing points work? Would you earn points for each point you have captured? If so, would people be able to uncap points? If not, what's to stop people from just spamming bombs on top of an enemy's point to stop them from capturing it?
@Luguiru, Some of your questions just got answered, albiet rather poorly. I'm still not sure whether or not the bombs are vaporizer'esque or firecracker'esque.

And come up with specific ones as I need some sleep. I'm so tired that I can't answer anything

By the looks of it this is going to be completely different from what I imagine so I am just going to take my own ideas and dump it in my own thread. I linked the current thread in reference to it to keep track of this thread.

Poison also increases all damage taken by a pretty significant amount and somewhere around halves all damage done.

Or are they given to you?

You can choose a status because maybe some players are so used to shock, that they suck at other elements, but shock
