Nice job Knight walker! I hope you complete your entry! Is that candy cane I see on the background of your picture? xD
@Tdlob So if our entries were Qualified would they be added to yo

Um...maybe? xD Ignore the candy canes, I already finishes nom-ming them :P
...I will enter one day...maybe. I have ideas, though not on paper. Sigh.

Describe how your image was created (the medium): Drawn and painted in Photoshop CS5
The name/description of the completed Troika line: The "Gnev" (which I believe means fury or wrath in Russian) is a five star alternate for the Sudaruska (so when you obtain the Khorovod, you can choose between dance or fury :3). It has a 2-swing combo and a nasty charge attack that deals damage (and sets things on fire) in a radius (about the size of your typical proto bomb) around the impact; the charge time is slightly longer than Suda or Triglav because of this. A few other notes on the actual image.

Name of the knight who referred you (if any): You, Tdlob :D
Knight Name: pballs
Describe how your image was created (the medium): paper+pencil+mind+jokes
The name/description of the completed Troika line: "I ant believe this is a Troika" 6* so comes from either one of the 5*s.

Name of the knight who referred you (if any): tdlob!
Notes:
This idea came to me while lechery (a guildie) and I were chatting about ants. I believe he said something like, "I really ant see how thats true" Then I said something like "I ant believe you just said that". Then I decided why not making an ant-like troika? The fangs are supposed to keep the similar shape but they turned out strange. Also, I would go back and put my player name and date on the image but its more of a joke, the real entries are coming soon!
I will have my entry up soon just finished the pictures and recipe material lists. need to ad some descriptions and it'll be ready! :P
what if mine was a special kind that comes from both 3* swords? Then only 4* and 5* images, specs, etc., but it would be an unique idea altogether. I'm still thinking about it. But anyway, does it have to be 3*, 4*, and 5*? Or could it be some other odd amount?
(No, it isn't dual wielding!)
hey man,
I just drew an ant! Tdlob wants us to use our imaginations while keeping some of the troika elements in tact :) Therefore Id think youd be more than fine on whatever your idea is ;)
IGN: Tantarian
Medium: 3D modelling + render
Name of line: Oilka? I'm not good with names
Date of completion: See post date
And I'm done. http://fav.me/d5opsr6
The line is based on Oilers, basically it leaks oil with every hit, and the charge attack would involve pulling the handle to activate the spark plugs (http://fav.me/d5opt1c) on the top, and so ignite any nearby oil (and maybe the entire sword for a bit?).
Finally got around to finishing it.

Description/use:
First Attack: A powerful but slow 2-hit combo that covers a full 180 degree arc in front of the knight. The first hit is stationary and has a one square reach. The second hit propels you forward one square and has a 2 block reach with fair knock-back (adapted from the wiki).
Charge Attack: A powerful overhead smash with a wide area of effect. Like the troika the first hit has no knock-back or status effect. The second hit however will send your enemies flying and has a chance to Curse them (adapted from the wiki).

Well there you go. If anyone is wondering why it is more expensive than the Gran Faust line, because well... It is an idealized Gran Faust in my eyes. Anyway, it's more expensive to make up for the fact you have no chance of being cursed. Ever. It's also not a shadow damage weapon just because I didn't want to make the Gran Faust seem pointless to get. It's a great sword the GF. I don't want it to be obsolete.
Also the Troika lines are pure Normal anyway. No need to change that.
I really wish I had a scanner to upload better quality pictures for you but oh well. Maybe I'll get one someday...

Charge attack: normal over-head swing, with the light beam thingy. as the swing is thrown, the sword launches upto 3 bombs, each in front of each other. http://picturepush.com/public/11761068
Basically it is a troika that launches bombs. The 3* one launches 1 bomb, 4* launches 2, and 5* launches 3 with the 3rd one having a medium sized bomb with minor knock back. the normal first 2 bombs are small like the ones that gremlin bombs drop, with no knock back. As the bombtech line troika increase in stars, the damage compared to normal troikas get smaller, and the bombs make up for that damage.
These troikas have normal speed, and deal normal damage and the bombs deal elemental damage.

Soo this is it. Right here; https://dl.dropbox.com/u/32069310/Skolver%20Troika%20%284%29.png
I wanted to fuse my two favorite themes, freeze and beast. It came out with something Skolver-y. :D
The basic attack for the five star is similar to that of the Wild Hunting Blade. Wolver bites coming out and what not. However, these ones would be much bigger.
The charge attack isn't what's in the picture lol.
It would remain the same until the five star, where instead of rocks coming out... It's Skolvers to nip at your feet. >:o
imlame.
Anyways, it needs some structure.
----------------
Damage Type: Pierce
Moderate chance of causing decent freeze.

3* "Amare"
A sword more frightening that the Frostifur Fandango.
----------
4* "Frieren"
An Amare that has been pelted with more than it's fair share of Perfect Snowballs and Hailstones.

5* "Frostbite"
A frigid and unpredictable sword. It's said to resemble the legendary Skolver. The smiths that forged this blade say that the aura that binds it together is the spirit of the wild.

Personally i have to say this is a boss competition because troika's line is awesome. Also my two fav things drawing (its my hobby) and spiral knights (when im not drawing)
Also I've always wanted other lines of it (another competition that would rock is 5 star spur drawing)
I dont have any swords with shock abilities so that insiped me. (Snarbolax and volcanic ideas inspired me too but that's besides the point)
so here is my line: http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/4030/shockline.jpg
All of them are pure ELEMENTAL swords
Line up is this...
my 3 star depiction is called conductor
3* - Conductor
Description:
Recipe: The 3-star recipe for this item costs 10 Bark Modules; the alchemy cost is 1000 crowns and 200 energy. Below are the materials needed to make the Conductor
10 Blue Shards
4 Volt oil
3 Driftwood
1 Static clinger
1 Thunderball
1 Troika
Note: When crafting using a bound item as a precursor, the upgraded item will also be bound.
it has 2 generators on it to make electricity
also since its 3 star it is not perfected so it has cracks in it (lol im not mature) with lightning escaping out
My 4 star drawing is named Static Eraticator
4* - Static Eraticator

1 Thunderball
1 Conductor (level 5+)
Note: When crafting using a bound item as a precursor, the upgraded item will also be bound.
it has 1 giant generator powering it up
also it has thunderbolts on its sides
a final touch inspired by nightblade also making good costume i added a chain and thunderbolt at the end of it
finally my 5 star is Holy Dispell
5* - Holy Dispell
Description:
Recipe: The 5-star recipe for this item costs 20 Bark Modules; the alchemy cost is 5000 crowns and 800 energy. Below are the materials needed to make the Holy Dispell

4 Volt oil
2 Driftwood
1 Ironwood
1 Static clinger
1 Rocket Sprocket
1 Spark of life
1 Thunderball
1 Static Eraticator (level 10+)
Note: When crafting using a bound item as a precursor, the upgraded item will also be bound.
it is one giant blade with lightning flash across it always rumbling
its power radiates through it with a tube and generator
My 5 star demonstration is not as good as i could of done here: http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/9734/demonstrationj.jpg
remember to zoom in
it has a crack in the ground (lol) expanding with an explosion of lightning bursting around
rubble flies out
FIRST it does 500
SECOND the first flash does 100
THIRD it does 500 in explosion
That is basic teir 3 lvl 10 damage without uvs
I hope you like it as a troika fanatic
Thank You for contest

We need your help saving the Suda and returning it to its formal glory.

I am doing this. Not great art skill, but I can think of five variants that may be interesting. I can make tables for most things and craft suggestions as well, but will you take Google docs links rather than me pasting it all in-thread? Given, it will be a week or two before I have everything done.

I finished the drawings, which are probably going to stay on paper their whole life (sorry! >.<")
I'll upload later...but I'm too lazy...I'm sleepy as well
PS. HAPPY NEW (very almost) YEAR!
20 mins till 2013 where I am ^_^
And to win.
I've been piling in work on this design, for I am a Thoroughbred Troika fan/lover.
I will have, hopefully by the end of this week, TWO absolutely original Troika lines, which will blow you away
Here's a sneak preview of what is to come.
BE PREPARED.
2 more days good luck to all of us :)
Hey! SO, since we're buddies IRL, me and the papaya have decided to team up! Yeah! So expect even better shtuff :3
You are more than welcome to work with someone else and split any prizes you win amongst yourselves.
The above statement is true.
Troika (2*)
Recipe: 5 Red Shard, 2 Brimstone, 2 Driftwood.
.Normal damage
+Fair chance of causing Moderate STUN
A low-tech sword that makes up for its lack of high internal power with sheer weight and size. It is capable of delivering crushing blows for those that can handle it.
Troika Mk II (3*)
Recipe: 10 Green Shard, 25 Gel Drops, 25 Scrap Metal, 25 Ecto Drops, 2 Troika.
.Normal damage
+Certain chance of having Moderate RANGE (It's about half a block longer than the Troika)
-Attack Speed Decreased: Low
Just two Troikas stuck together, the design for this sword was brought to Haven by the proto-knights of the Rescue Camp who insisted that dual wielding was a good idea.
Troika Mk III (4*)
Recipe: 10 Green Shard, 50 Gel Drops, 50 Scrap Metal, 50 Ecto Drops, 1 Troika, 1 Troika Mk II lvl 5.
.Normal damage
+Certain chance of having Strong RANGE (It's about a full block longer than the Troika)
-Attack Speed Decreased: Medium
If you add a third Troika to the Troika Mk II, you get the Troika Mk III. It's quite heavy, but it IS a bit longer than the original sword.
Sudoika (5*)
Recipe: 15 Green Shard, 150 Gel Drops, 150 Scrap Metal, 150 Ecto Drops, 1 Sudaruska lvl 10, 1 Troika Mk III lvl 10.
.Normal damage
+Certain chance of having Strong RANGE (It's about a full block longer than the Troika, same as the Troika Mk III)
+Fair chance of causing Moderate STUN
-Attack Speed Decreased: Medium
Know what could make this sword better? How about another sword?
Alternatively...
Floika (5*)
.Piercing damage
+Certain chance of having Strong RANGE (Once again, about a full block longer than the Troika)
-Attack Speed Decreased: Medium
Ever wonder, "What if flourishes could hit harder, better, faster, and stronger?" Well, this sword fits at least half that description.

I LOVE THE TROIKA
Anyhow, I have an idea that will win me the contest. Though it will take me quite a bit of time to draw it and give it cool flavor, so it won't be bland. So will it be alright if I post it a few days later? Or does it have a deadline? If so, when will you stop accepting applications?
@Ultimateknightz
Or does it have a deadline? If so, when will you stop accepting applications?
The deadline for this competition is on Janurary the 31st, 2013 (11:59 pm. cst) ~ may be subject to change
Comeon guys, I would love a Troika for Christmas ^_^
How about reading into the original post a little more, eh?
Sounding confident about it eh? I'd love some fierce competition.
@Heavy-Duty I'm liking both your name and spirit, but you're gonna need more than just that to top me!
Progress report:
Brainstorm and Notes-100%
Models-50%

Overall finished awesomeness-15%
I'm actually a lot further than these numbers sound, considering the fact that I am doing 2 lines. Indeed, 1 line is already nearly complete, and I will "leak" it once it is finished.
I repeat, I intend to win this, hands-down-no-questions-asked. Bring on the challenges :)
I'm horrible at drawing, and have really no idea what this 'digital rendering' you speak of is, and '3D rendering' but hey, I'll see what I can do!
:3
Question though... What did you mean by "and technically Shock"? Also is there a way to show the images without having any online picture sharing website?
EDIT: HOLY WOLVER CRAP. I just spent freakin 30 minutes making ONE ICON! How the heck do those guys do it!?!?!??
Have sketches done of one of the lines I was planning, and will probably complete that one between some of the other stuff I need to do in the next week or so. Only head concepts of the second one, but it was piercing anyway, and you've already got a bit of that going on. If it looks like I'm running out of time, I'll likely drop that one, since I don't have much for it that's unique to my version of a piercing Troika.
... I like my first idea better anyway. It'll be more fun to draw. ^.^
Hello Tdlob-Forums (and other viewers). I am Breaker-Xd, your friendly T2 Lockdown Fiend. As a Grintovec user myself, I find myself mesmerized by the beauty of the brutish blade. In hopes of winning some CE (and some fame), I am entering your competition! Be prepared!

- The Windy Line
- The Windy Line Action Animation, updated
Below includes my full creative process, including the items required by your original post. Apologies for the wall of text.
Note: I use the word "troika" and "Troika" a lot. "troika" refers to the family of swords. "Troika" refers to the 2* member of the family of swords.
Date of Initiation: 12/31/12
Date of Completion: Ongoing
Requirements:
- 3*, 4*, and 5* new line with full names and descriptions
- 5* in action
Preexisting Analysis:
-Troika(2*): "Set of Three", "A Russian dance, where a man dances with two women." Themes here are dance, threes,
Russian, (polygamy?), and movement. This "dance" is evident from the movement and twirling of the attack sequence.
-Kamarin(3*): Shortened "Kamarinskaya", also a Russian dance. "a quick dance tune." Still seeing Russian, dance, add movement.
-Khorovod(4*): "reference to a Russian form of circle dance and chorus singing." Still dance, Russian, and movement.
-Sudaruska(5*): "is old Russian very polite word that mean 'woman'." Still seeing Russian, but dance and movement were lost here.
-Grintovec(3*), Jalovec(4*), and Triglav(5*): all named after Slovenian mountains. Theme of icy mountains and Slovenia (geographically close to Russia)
General appearance trend seems to be going from an old-looking blade to a color-tinted blade, to a refined and sleek blade, to a hunk of rubble held together by sheer power.
Tying it all together, it seems that the whole troika family is Russian or Slovenian. The Sudaruska line seems to be based on dances, while the Triglav line is based on mountains.
Themes:
-Russian/Slovenian
-Dancing
-Mountains
What comes to mind next?:
-Vodka (yes I am stereotypical, deal with it)
-Music
-Brutal Winter (General Frost, as it is affectionately called)
-Campfires
-Wind
Concept 1; The Windy Line
Savage winters mean savage winds. The Russian winters are bound to blow away any foe.
In lieu of "wind" not being very "status-y", I propose a slight ASI boost to set it on par with the other troikas. A status-less troika with natural ASI low/med would suffice to set it on par with (if not above) the other troikas.
Also, the idea of "smashing to the ground" isn't very "windy", so I propose a new charge attack, involving the regular combo done in quick succession, with a third swing added. (Basically, twirl around 3 times with blade extended. (Only hits front, unlike Leviathan Blade/Fang of Vog).
An alternative could be the regular combo (2 swings), with each swing shooting out an "arc" of wind, which damages and pushes back enemies. The 5* version could potentially have a 3rd swing in the charge, accounting for Troika's meaning, three.
Appearance-wise, the blade should not follow trends of the previous troikas (the last stage, the "hunk of rubble held together by sheer force" might not fit the theme very well)
The blade could also go a different path, and go from old blade to clean, shiny blade, to sleeker, sharper blade, to a long, thin, and quick edge of destruction, rather than to a pile of pebbles held together by magical energy.
Veterok (3*, "Breeze" in Russian)
Made of mystic steel and floating feathers, this blade's massive size belies its swift bite. It is capable of lifting its wielders off their feet.
Stats: Same damage output as Kamarin/Grintovec. Speed boosted by a minor amount (equivalent to ASI low)
Charge: Three swiftly executed swings, which move the knight forward 4 steps (same distance Kamarin/Grintovec charge moves). No projectiles fired from the swings. In charge swings, damage per hit is slightly higher than regular.
Shtorm (4*, "Gale" in Russian)
Striking with gale-force winds, this beautiful blade is as light as a feather. Those who wield it are said to be able to dance on the wind.
Stats: Same damage output as Khorovod/Jalovec. Speed boosted by a minor amount (equivalent to ASI low)
Charge: Three swiftly executed swings, which move the knight forward 4 steps (same distance Khorovod/Jalovec charge moves). Arc of wind which deal weak damage and moderate knockback fired forward from the all three swings (total of 3 arcs). In charge swings, damage per hit is slightly higher than regular.
Burakh (5*, "Tempest" in Russian")
An artifact straight out of owlite manuscripts, this blade bends the winds to its will. Enemies will be either blown away or knocked off their feet.
Stats: Same damage output as Sudaruska/Grintovec. Speed boosted by a minor amount (equivalent to ASI med)
Charge: Three swiftly executed swings, which move the knight forward 4 steps (same distance Sudaruska/Grintovec charge moves). Arc of wind which deal weak damage and moderate knockback fired forward from the all three swings (total of 3 arcs). In charge swings, damage per hit is slightly higher than regular.
Damage Analysis (Depth 1, +0) (Personal tests)
Grintovec (Control, for comparison):
1st: 44
2nd: 52
Charge: 65 + 71 + Freeze Chance = 136 + Freeze Chance
Veterok:
1st: 44
2nd: 52
Charge: 52 + 52 + 65 = 169
Since the Windy line does not get "wind arcs" until 4* (Shtorm), Veterok's damage is very close to Grintovec/Kamarin's. The slightly higher number is tempered by the fact that Veterok inflicts no status.
Damage Analysis (Depth 19, +0) (Credits to these good people):
Sudaruska (Control, for comparison):
1st: 184
2nd: 225
Charge: 293 + 320 + Stun Chance = 613 + Stun Chance
Burakh:
1st: 184
2nd: 225
Charge: 225 + 58 + 225 + 58 + 293 + 58 = 917
This higher damage output is tempered by the fact that most likely, only 2 of the swings will contact, due to knockback. The damage would therefore be either 692 or 624 (assuming miss hit 2 and hit 3 respectively.) The 58s are damage done by projectile arcs of wind, which also induce knockback. This slightly higher damage is also tempered by the fact that Burakh does not inflict a status.
Windy Line Designer's Statement:
I set out to make a troika that wasn't overpowered, wasn't underpowered, and wasn't just a recolored Suraruska. I ended up taking the Troika to its opposite extreme; Cradle's most massive sword became a feathery blade of wind. One thing that struck me about the Burakh (and the rest of the Windy line) was that unlike most weapons in Spiral Knights, which get bigger as they level up (Calibur line, Sealed Sword line, Brandish line, etc), the Windy line actually got slightly smaller with each star progression. The blades became thinner, and gradually came to seem to me as blade of a windmill. The charge attack completes the windmill image, spinning around three times, mimicking the three blades of modern-day wind-powered generates.
I came away from this design satisfied with the result. The renders of the blade were pleasing to look at, and the animation of the charge left me with a bucket-full of knowledge about Spiral Spy. The design forced deeper analysis into the troika line's strengths and weaknesses, and forced me to balance them. All the while, the design had to be culturally/traditionally justifiable. These constraints forced me to think outside of the box; a fire or shock troika would be too powerful in Lockdown, and a curse troika would be a ripoff of the Gran Faust. Changing the damage type would have made it a whole different sword. No, to keep the blade a Troika, I had to maintain core values such as knockback, normal damage, and non-damage-over-time-esque statuses.
Ironically, maintaining these values let me to sacrifice one of Troika's most original traits: I completely remade the charge attack. The Windy line's new charge is also original, and does not mimic any other charge in Cradle. Loss of Troika's Goliath size allowed for easy justification of a natural ASI low/med boost (or an actual boost in speed, but I was too lazy to go in and re-tool-tip the stat bars). The natural ASI also prevents the blade from becoming too fast; since ASI caps at +6, a Burakh with natural ASI med with another +4 ASI levels would be the same speed as a +6 ASI Sudaruska. By using natural ASI to enforce this speed limit, the Windy line is kept from being too fast and powerful.
All in all, I am happy with my work. Enjoy my Windy Troikas!
Concept 2 will be revealed soon.
Thumbs up to Breaker-Xd, I mean, like real thumbs up.... the research, and those pics, what are they 3d renderings!? How do you even make that stuff??? Hmmm.... You helped me decide on something, I wanted to be as close to 'OOO would most likely have made this', but after seeing that they have a GM Shock Trokia, I think ?I should do something a bit different, or else there wouldn't really be any creativity! :) Thx bro...
@ Breaker
How do you get the Russian word, then its pronunciation?!!? I was looking all over for how to do it, but I gave up and made random words that started with T! :P
If your using Google translate, go to the bottom right hand corner of the box, there should be some faint icons, one which has a capitol 'A' with a two dot accent over it, click it to turn on phonetics.
EDIT: Then it will appear in grey letters beneath the translation box.
No, Hex is right, just use Google translate and turn on the pronunciation guide-thing.
@Hexlash
Thank you! My 5* was slightly inspired by the Divine Avenger. I tried to keep things as consistent with the existing lines as I could, while staying true to my theme.
Line 2 + battle animations are in progress, and will be up soon.
I tried making names in Russian, but WOW, the were like... too un-inspiring, so i stuck with my favorite, Latin :3
How DID you make the 'models and rendering'?
Update! I got the action poses down! And I think I'm working on another concept!!! :P
I updated my post, but since I'm an attention hog, here it is!
The Windy Line Action Animation, updated
My full entry is in Post #86
Count me in! I love the idea of creating my own troika line :D
It should take me approx 2 days to do it.
@Breaker
'was thinking of doing the same thing, but in a gif. But since I have no background of creating 3D models...
BTW I hate your guts. :D
And I'm stuck with my concepts...
Was thinking on the gear line BUUUUT SK weapons (especially swords) are based a ton on simplicity, and a lot of my sketches are too much for the Troika series (or for any series). Still working on 'em!
BTW Breaker, thinking of going away from the Troika mainframe and adding or changing it as it levels? While Kamarin and Khorovod are similar, they have significantly different color schemes and textures, while SUUUUUDAAAAAAAA is shattered.
And question: you wanna render the Chasovoy and place it on a Tdlob dummy? :D
I like your guts for saying you hate my guts :P
I used Autodesk Inventor to make the original 3D models, and then thought "screw it I want to use this in-game", so I downloaded Spiral Spy and made them in there too (very badly, since I suck with editing UV's) (no not unique variant UV's, the 3D mapping kind of UV's)
Of course the swords have to change as they level! It would be so boring to be stuck with the same blade from 2* to 5*!
I COULD render your Chasovoy on Tdlob if you gave me 3D models of them :P. Making the models is the hardest and most time-consuming part. Rendering is a click of a button.
I cannot believe that you put in your own custom model into spiral spy... I mean how the heck did you do that?! I have no idea how spiral spy works, but did you like, take the troika model file or w/e then change it's textures, then in put it in place of like the troika, then you manipulated how the character moves????? I mean holy crap, stop the competition we have a winner XD
EDIT: I too, hate your guts, just because you can make people spin around three times in a circle.
I will be out of commission starting from tomorrow morning (life stuff, no way around it), and will not be able to complete my second line as expected.
BASICALLY, I'm putting this idea "up for grabs" with some strings attached.
The brainstorm and outline for the line is here, and if anyone wants to try to make this idea a reality, please at least consider me a collaborator? If I have any time at all, I'll help whoever decides to take up this idea:
Concept 2; Campfire line:
Knights with these blades around can heat both their hands and their foe, warding off both the icy monsters and the even chillier winter.
Due to the fact that fire is an extremely powerful status, I propose a different mechanic from most fire-inflicting weapons. The troika's charge normal hits deal no status, and its charge attack creates a small fire-area (akin to the ones made by throwing jars of fire against walls) in the square/spot where the blade hit the ground. To increase the range of the fire would make it too powerful, so the charge should deal 1 square of fire, and a circle of smoke that works as the usual charge does, and knocks back the foe. The unfortunate monster that gets caught by the blade will be promptly sparked, lit, and then shoved away. Perhaps the 5* blade could have three spots of fire surrounding the spot the blade hit, accounting for the "troika", or "three", though that might be too powerful.
To make up for the lackluster charge (1 square of fire is very hard to hit!), I propose a small "extra boost" on this Troika. Just as Bristling Buckler to Barbarous Thorn Shield offers a damage increase to swords, the campfire Troikas should offer a status-resistance increase against freeze (due to the notion that it keeps your hands warm). Offering an increase against fire would make it an odd choice for Firestorm Citadel. Also, this status bonus is only in play when the weapon is equipped. This may be different and difficult to code, but hey, concepts right?
Appearance-wise, the blade should follow the trends of the previous troikas, and turn from a chunk of stone, to a chunk of flint (for starting fires), to a carved and polished blade (of flint and obsidian?), to a ball of black obsidian mess, held together by glowing, fiery, forces.
Names and Descriptions:
Kremen (3*, "Flint" in Russian) (oddly sounds a bit like Kamarin)
Zazhigalki (4*, "Lighter" in Russian)
Kostra (5*, "Campfire" in Russian)
Best of luck, whoever decides to take this up.
PS: I understand that some people have ideas similar to this (aka, a fire troika)/ I would in no way blame anyone with preexisting similar ideas for posting a line similar to this. Since I can't tell people who rip off the idea (without giving me a smidgen of credit) from those who had similar ideas (you guys, I applaud you), I'm asking for some HONESTY here. If my post inspires any ideas, at least mark me as a collaborator, or even just credit me as inspiration. Of course, this is the internet, so honesty might be a hard thing to ask for...
Cheers!

PPS: @Da-Fang (if he chooses to enter this competition) gets priority for my help, with this idea or with any other. :P
A while ago I made a character using Spiral Spy who specializes in the use of obscenely large heavy weapons:

Because this is old work I won't be submitting this but I thought it would be something you would like to see (maybe as an honorary submission :P).
For the Spiral Spy inclined viewers, yes, all those animations and FX's do work. Should get a vid of Milly's troika in action when I have a chance.
Maybe I should consider making an entry... (other people: "Uh oh")
Very nice!
Did you recolor the Suda skin and change the Fx color?
I'd love to see more competition! >:) Try to top me.
IGN: The-Knightwalker, Xxpapaya (We're OFFICIALLY working together, as of ... the first of January, 2013!)
Medium: Paper, Digital
Name of line: Amore
Date of completion: 31/1/13 - 11:37 (lol, I almost missed it ^_^")
Hurrrr, a wild entry appears!
The names...may sound stupid, okay? But they are named after RUSSIAN HOSPITALS. Well, the troika's named after russian MOUNTAINS and DANCES. Can't blame me for coming up with that idea xD
Here it is;

As you can tell, these are hand drawn pieces of art, so...I'll add colour to digital drawings later :D Also, ignore the fact that the 3* Lesnoye's "screws" are in the wrong place. Just noticed. Too lazy to go erase it and take another photo and upload it again. Will edit that when comes to digital drawings and colour. Ignore the candy canes on my desk :P
In the left is the Nevamed, centre - the Serbsky, and on the right is the Lesnoye. Also, those words that I wrote in my scrawl read: "Has love aura, but instead of hearts just has circles." <-- Would look like the Triglav's aura, but red. The words below that say "Shaded [part/s] is empty space (glow)," and what I mean by that is the shaded parts of the Nevamed (5*) glow brightly, like the interior of the Triglav/Sudaruska, if you know what I'm trying to say :D
CHARGE ATTACK: Charge attack
Yeah, I know the glowing bit and the cracks in the floor look kinda messy...but...meh
Also, as the troikas' main "strength" as to put it, is the immense damage output, but, my concept was to change that damage into a "heal," not unlike a love puppy. The charge attacks are the only attacks that can heal, however that damage iconic to the Troika line? I have taken that away and instead replaced with knockback, as a sword, though slow, with strength great as well as healing, would be too overpowered...Anyways, this is how the healing is going to work, as well as damage:
3* - Still has attack power, but less than the Grinvotec, aka 4 full bar sections after being leveled up fully. It's charge heals only players in a certain range, lasts 2 seconds, and heals 2 pips of health per second and per player.
4* - Has the same attack power as the Lesnoye, but it's charge heals players in a wider range, and for 3 seconds, and 2 pips of health per second per player.
5* - Has the same attack power as the Lesnoye and Serbsky, but it's charge heals plays in a wider range, for 3 seconds, and 3 pips of health per second per player.
~ Side note: To balance it out even more, it is going to be a recipe only obtainable from Sullivan for the same amount of Krogmo Coins as the "Triglav" line, needing "heart" trinkets, and having very slow charge times, like 10-15 seconds~
Well, that is it! :D
