Lets start off with the most obvious solution, add more crowns or prize boxes to it. Simple enough am I right? well that is just too simple.
Please consider any of the fallowing for a fix, you can vote for any of them and all of them.

1) Add in general more prize boxes, have some require you to solve a puzzle to get and others just simply break all the blocks keeping you form them. Nothing too special

2) Add a special mob to the levels known as "Greed Slimes" they all look the paler more translucent slime cubes normally, but they are a special type of slime that is known for hoarding crowns. These little buggers will slosh around the map collecting crowns and adding them to it, any crown they pick up heals them. When ever they pick up a crown it can be seen floating inside them, this also causes them to gain size.
They have a naturally high crown drop and also drop all crowns they picked up on death. If a Greed slime has collected at least 500 crowns when they
die they have a explosion animation similar to a blast cube that simply spews out crowns.

3)Remove the energy gates, I shouldn't have to pay for the only feature in the level.

4)Give the map a crown multiplier, as in all crowns picked up are worth x1.5 the actual amount.(change number)

5)Increase the size of the map, and the number of prize box sections ( the little room like area were prize boxes are normally).

6)increase the number of mobs. Kleptolisk are only found in treasure vaults (mission don't count) so we might as well deal with allot of them.

7)Add the wishing wells and or special statues that you can find in wolver levels, I can't screen cap them but I am sure some of you have seen them. The wishing wells drop crowns when you click them and the totem either drops crowns or spawns monster when you shoot it.

8)Put Tortodrones back in as a summon boss were you have to gather special totems to an area to have it spawned.

9)Have a special aura drop called "Monopoly Aura" that causes small crowns to be contentiously falling from the armor. (obviously not able to pick these up)

10)From Zeddy: Make all prize boxes red.

11) Also from Zeddy: TL;DR version: Make the elevators for the TVs special in some way, either less cost to use or special travel abilities like level jumping or prize wheels with only good things like lock boxes.

A vault will contain two elevators: One that works like the regular one, and another one that goes down two floors, letting you skip unprofitable floors.
The elevator leading out of treasure vault is a free ride. This way, the player won't feel like they lose mist by visiting vaults.
Should the elevator lead to a treasure vault, no mist will be deducted for that ride. Same effect as above, but the point won't be missed if the vault is the final floor of the run.
At the end of the treasure vault, there'll be an elevator for each floor of the next depth, allowing players to choose which level they would like to enter. This is great if there's an arena right after the vault.
Treasure vault elevator won't lead down, instead they'll have a sideways elevator leading to one of the other levels on that depth. The level will specifically not be the graveyard, but rather randomly picked from one of the others. The elevator will be cost-free.
The roulette at the treasure vault elevators will have a greatly increased chance of Lockboxes and particularly mirrored Lockboxes.

All minerals picked up in a treasure vault will go directly to the players inventory rather than needing to be carried to the elevator.
