How to fix the Treasure vault levels so they are actually worth while!

Lets start off with the most obvious solution, add more crowns or prize boxes to it. Simple enough am I right? well that is just too simple.
Please consider any of the fallowing for a fix, you can vote for any of them and all of them.
~
1) Add in general more prize boxes, have some require you to solve a puzzle to get and others just simply break all the blocks keeping you form them. Nothing too special
~
2) Add a special mob to the levels known as "Greed Slimes" they all look the paler more translucent slime cubes normally, but they are a special type of slime that is known for hoarding crowns. These little buggers will slosh around the map collecting crowns and adding them to it, any crown they pick up heals them. When ever they pick up a crown it can be seen floating inside them, this also causes them to gain size.
They have a naturally high crown drop and also drop all crowns they picked up on death. If a Greed slime has collected at least 500 crowns when they
die they have a explosion animation similar to a blast cube that simply spews out crowns.

3)Remove the energy gates, I shouldn't have to pay for the only feature in the level.

4)Give the map a crown multiplier, as in all crowns picked up are worth x1.5 the actual amount.(change number)

5)Increase the size of the map, and the number of prize box sections ( the little room like area were prize boxes are normally).
~
6)increase the number of mobs. Kleptolisk are only found in treasure vaults (mission don't count) so we might as well deal with allot of them.
~
7)Add the wishing wells and or special statues that you can find in wolver levels, I can't screen cap them but I am sure some of you have seen them. The wishing wells drop crowns when you click them and the totem either drops crowns or spawns monster when you shoot it.

 8)Put Tortodrones back in as a summon boss were you have to gather special totems to an area to have it spawned.

9)Have a special aura drop called "Monopoly Aura" that causes small crowns to be contentiously falling from the armor. (obviously not able to pick these up)

10)From Zeddy: Make all prize boxes red.

11) Also from Zeddy: TL;DR version: Make the elevators for the TVs special in some way, either less cost to use or special travel abilities like level jumping or prize wheels with only good things like lock boxes.
Full version stolen from Zeddy:
A vault will contain two elevators: One that works like the regular one, and another one that goes down two floors, letting you skip unprofitable floors.
The elevator leading out of treasure vault is a free ride. This way, the player won't feel like they lose mist by visiting vaults.

Should the elevator lead to a treasure vault, no mist will be deducted for that ride. Same effect as above, but the point won't be missed if the vault is the final floor of the run.

At the end of the treasure vault, there'll be an elevator for each floor of the next depth, allowing players to choose which level they would like to enter. This is great if there's an arena right after the vault.

Treasure vault elevator won't lead down, instead they'll have a sideways elevator leading to one of the other levels on that depth. The level will specifically not be the graveyard, but rather randomly picked from one of the others. The elevator will be cost-free.

The roulette at the treasure vault elevators will have a greatly increased chance of Lockboxes and particularly mirrored Lockboxes.

12) This as well from Zeddy, felt it should be its own.
All minerals picked up in a treasure vault will go directly to the players inventory rather than needing to be carried to the elevator.

Actually 1,4, or 5 are equally valid. but not more monsters. Half of the point of treasure vaults is that they're "breather levels" that DONT have a lot of monsters.

Make all the boxes red so that item drops have a considerably higher chance of dropping there than in any other level.

Is this clear enough?

I vote for my solution that I was just too lazy to post when I thought of it: make them more luck based. Have about 3~7 gates in a row that you have to go through, each of these gates are made of ~3 gates behind which there is either: 1 treasure box, 5 treasure boxes, or 10 treasure boxes each existing down a separate path. Note that there are party buttons that you have to press to pass though each gate that closes others. I'll try to make it out of ascii.
P=party button
G=gate
C=gate that closes after you press a party button (within reason of course)
Ignore the dots. Gates go to the end of the path.

I did, but didn't bother fixing it in the post, but it is correctly spelled in the OP so what ever.
I just guessed form the post that they could be encountered in treasure vault levels before but hay, maybe not. But it would make seance seeing how they are "guarding" "something" .

1: I think the fact you have to break your way out thought the blocks to find button/switches bring down the gate in order to get to the lift is good enough.
2: I'm a little torn on this, I like the concept alot, but I don't think OOO will go for it. Also Kletpolisk seem to suffice so I don't think it's needed to begin with. +1 anyway.
3: +1 A personal suggestion, maybe destructible gates similar to the properties of the cages used when you had rescue AI knights in missions.
4: I'm skeptical, it seems excessive. Suggestion 10 compensates nicely as an alternative.
5: I don't understand, please clarify.
6: "Relax! Smell the flowers. Enjoy your day in the sun. You earned it!"- Treasure Vault description.
7: +1 to make their presence more prevalent, but not in the vault.
8: I could use a challenge, but many cries to bring it back have yet to avail in terms of persuading the developers. +1 anyway
9: Rather unnecessary in my opinion.

Well, since there are now new things, I also vote in favor of 8 and 10. I like 9 as a new Aura idea, but not as an exclusive TV drop. Maybe a promo of some sort?

I vote for...

1, 2, and 10 to be implemented into the Treasure Vault levels. In its current state me and my friends hope that we get to avoid the level whenever we come across the random gates - isn't the Graveyard supposed to fill that role?

On the subject of the Graveyard, mobs should flat out have no drops in that level. Make it something that we truly want to avoid.
(And buff those miserable Undead already.)

Why would you want us to AVOID graveyards? Also we shouldn't be penalized based on something beyond our control.

Though make the Monopoly Aura a rare drop from the Greed Slimes. Perhaps as rare as a Darkfang Shield? I'd say that's fair.

The idea is to make people happy to get TVs instead of GYs. GYs are supposed to be scary because of their difficulty. Right now the opposite isopposite is true - GYs are favored over TVs because they end up having a higher crown payout anyway and are easy to boot.

All of these sound like good ideas EXCEPT 2, 6, and 8. I agree with prior posters in saying that treasure vaults do not need more monsters...the few kleptoklisks there are unexpectedly annoying as it is.

But all that aside, I do really think that treasure vaults should be more rewarding to compensate for their relative rarity. Th clockworks in general needs to give more crowns so as to give people incentive to do the arcade and not to constantly do missions...

Hmm...

The treasure vaults do not need more monsters. It's meant to be a relaxing level and mostly safe area where people are suppose to like going into. So I vote for 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 10. (Also, graveyards should get something so that people would want to avoid them apart from just phantoms. I hate going into Candlestick Keeps way more than Graveyards currently.)

Agree with Cyderiax, the phantoms are easy to deal with.

About the tortodrone, how about an optional arena surrounded by grids/forcefields? It would lead to perhaps some room containing the same amount of treasure boxes as in the rest of the vault? Perhaps it could sometimes be replaced with the JGG/Jelly Green Giant?

That was my idea of it really, he in some way would need to be either "summoned" or intentionally agroed to fight so he would be PURELY optional. Maybe add an option to stop the fight like have a sleep vile spawner with a sign next to it saying "In case of rampaging guardian, use these" as a some what obvious hint that to get him to stop you put him to sleep, but doing this makes him immune to all damage for 30~ seconds or until he is fully healed.

We could set him up in his own little area were he functions as a neutral NPC were he has his own little section of the vault that he keeps private and the players can challenge him for access to it.

waffle for once i agree with you i like them all acept having more enimies i prefer having NO eniimies even though now i know the other day i recently for the first time got to a treasure vault and i didnt know to expect enimies and i opened a box and got the stuff then a chrmalisk appears and im dead. So i say for the sake of the ppl who have never been to one completely remove the enimies
