I think the enviroment is bossy, and the tortodrone is bossy, and that the boss has been introduced as T3. so, those boxes will 1 be only in a specific level, ie tortodrone lair 2 will appear throughout the clockworks at the same rate as ghost blocks. cause those are graviton boxes and you don't want them to be too much of a pain in the lower back.
EDIT: I'm examinating the other image right now. on the lower left corner there's someone with a combuster and a purple line which doesn't seem to fit. so, the levels will probably be fiend.
RE-EDIT: those shards have so much of a high range, can we have those too?
That's most likely just not in the level design yet as it is a new level set and there don't seem to be any places to hide switches.
Good:
Nick always kept his promises! Even if he delayed them and left the SK team (See this)
Bad?:
Tortodrone fan-nerds having lifetime fangasms? Is that bad? It might be for the forums if they spread their love like bronies do :\
what shards from arkus? there are no shards in the arkus fight. arkus just has the DR orbs around him.
A Tortodrone does look like a boss, but more like a miniboss. They said the new T3 boss has something to do with FSC. I have no reason to expect Almire falling to a Tortodrone stampede or something.
In the final phase of the Arkus bossfight, when Arkus slams his sword on the ground those shards appear as ground spikes ala T2-3 Jelly Cubes.
When did they ever say the boss had something to do with FSC? All I recall them saying was that it was post-Vana.
AHHHHHHHHHHWWEEESSSSOMMMMEE!
What does the tortodrone has to do with FSC? ._.
sorry to ruin your groove, but 'following' doesn't mean related to, for one. For two, Tortodrone would be/will be awesome, just saying, and three, you guys keep saying fiend, but both knights are wielding elemental, and slime clearly isn't fiend.... so...
Undead constructs/slime? Could work.... maybe....
It's far fetched, but hey. =]
A Curse Tortodrone. He's here for revenge for his deceased comrades!
The way I see it it goes like this: Since we defeated Lord Vanaduke we get to move on in rank, carrying on to a new mission which can be one of three things. The first could be another beast type boss. Why beast type? Well think of it this way:
Vanaduke has a main line that he always roars out before he starts his fight "Whats this? More wolves hungry for the blood of almire? Our kingdom will never fall to such beasts!" This could be a major hint to the next boss type. Either a knockoff idea from the snarbolax beast OR a new concept of encorperating a beast styled monster/boss. (I'd love to see a knight standoff between your knight and a larger sexy looking knight)
Two could be a gremlin themed boss. Why so? In the DLC Operation Crimson Hammer they speak of a king in this case King Tinkinzar. The king has some purdy awesome backstory and since the king is suspiciously linked to the swarm....it wouldnt be any doubt what so ever that they create a new awesome standoff battle OR a swarm fight.
Three and possibly a far shot on my guesstimation but i keep my points covered could be undead. No not a zombie warfare fight I'm thinking along the lines of a owlite type boss OR a magikat fight. Think about it, we get a divine veil, chaos cloak, grey feather cloak, Kat claw cowl, Kat hiss cowl, Kat eye cowl and Black kat cowl. Doesn't this by any chance seem a bit suspicouse to you guys? both have some interesting similarities in concept design. The Kat series (excluding the BKC) has red, white and greenish yellow color style, while the cloak series has white, teal (bluish green), and red. The color styles could be a awesome hint to our next fight. It could be a awesome standoff battle between 3 ancient deities or guardians. Also considering there is a crown of the fallen series it wouldnt be a no brainer that there might be a tie in to something that is a bit pissed off for getting unfriended in facebook.
Thats my assumption I could be wrong but how good did I do on this O- o?

2 cents number one: Pretty sure because of the rad drop numbers, and the enemies: A shadow lair is Tier 4.
Other 2 cents: Tortodrone fan-nerds having lifetime fangasms? Is that bad? It might be for the forums if they spread their love like bronies do :\
I am offended ;-;
I meant no offense in anyway. I should have said I'm aware that not all of them are like that.
Thing floating around the helmet? Towards the right...Is it a sprite? At first I thought that was the helmet, but it's not... So what is it?? Anybody?
That's just a moonstone rose night inside that other guy firing his AP.
Also, too late. If you look inside the purple cubes, you'll see a little swirl under their cores. We're beyond dead.
At least they suck in enemies too. But wouldn't that make Graviton less useful?
Mmkay. So those cube thingies are shadow blast boxes. These boxes are like blast boxes but they TURN into a vortex. (I'm pretty sure, or my memory is just terrible.) This makes the gunner update more important actually. The tortodrone will, or more like HAS too be in the clockworks, because it was a random spawn thingy but more common like the black kats. And they WILL be a miniboss. Unless they put a tortomega(I don't think these ever were in the game.) which is apparently a mega tortodrone.
EDIT: My first sentence was SO wrong... It is shameful. Also, you could probably be able to dash through the blast boxes, cause you can with a vortex, and vortex has a bigger range anyway. Also, I have the idea, that you will fight tortodrones like the way you fight trojans. They have the same animating crystal inside of them, so they will probably work like that. If you didn't see, tortodrones were being reattached by fiends before (look in the fiend levels.)
It seems like the way SK has worked over its life is it had a bunch of half-finished content in beta, then took whatever they could fix into release and whatever they couldn't, they shelved. Then after they got some stuff fixed they went to slowly reintroducing all the things they took out as they can fix them.
Ironwood Sentinel - Void Lumbers and the boss at the Crash Site.
Super Brawl - Lockdown.
-Tortodrones - Whatever these things are called. Fraken-tortos or something.
-Vortex blast boxes - reintroduced once player skill/abilities were comparable and it wouldn't be too hard.
-Jaws of Megalodon - "DIHIDROGEN MONOXIDE CONFIRMED"
Now all we need are Vog Cubs and Jelly Green Giant back...
Why people seems unhappy? I was expecting to see some "OMGOMGITSHERE!" comment.

People are more happy to complain about things than they are to celebrate about things
It looks very polished. I wonder if the new armors will have that same polished feel.
Does anyone know what those explosive blocks are? Not the purple ones, those with weird white orbs things?
The Tortodrone looks like the one that can be found dead in Fiend lvl scenario rooms.
Plus i don't think it is the new boss since there are different dead Tortodrones, so it would make sense if there is different live ones as well. I would guess they are more like minibosses.
The size of Tortodrones is not T3 boss size(Yes that is a thing :D)
I think that tortodrones will be minibosses in the levels and a tortomega will the boss.
I just noticed that there are 2 players there lol.
I've seen screenies of scenario rooms in Devilite cities, where a tortodrone's back is ripped open and dark matter is scattered about. I'd say this is probably the product of that dark ritual.
Where did you even find this?
