Greetings, honorable Knights of the Spiral Order.

Allow me to brief you all on the situation. We've been scanning this region of space for the last few days, and a habitable world turned up on our sensors a few hours ago. Unfortunately, the Morai Legion deployed the battleship Va'Isor to take us down, and while the Skylark is a capable vessel, she is no match for the Va'Isor. I am unwilling to risk your lives for such a potentially disastrous encounter, so I am ordering an evacuation via orbital drop at 0400 hours. Something very special resides on this planet, and I'm convinced that your presence will be a key factor in the region's development.

GAME RULES

This game will be played out rather differently from the others in that each player must choose one of several pre-defined roles. More roles may open up as the game proceeds, so if at first you don't land one, keep an eye out for new ones.

The game's story rotates around Delta Squad, nicknamed the 'Iron Dragons,' specializing in the elimination of high-profile Morai targets. Combat and teamwork are central elements to the story, so skill in writing fight scenes is a must. Each of the four characters in the squad is an important main, and their players should be capable of carrying the story on their own should the need arise.

The Squad Leader is responsible for the health of the squad, and therefore carries numerous (essentially unlimited) health capsules, remedy capsules, and Sparks of Life. He is allowed to choose the squad's battle sprite.

The Squad Striker is capable of incredible aerial maneuvers, allowing for a variety of attack options against a wide variety of monsters. They have little in the way of defenses, but make up for it with their superior offensive powers. They carry various vials.

The Squad Recon can move around the battlefield undetected, and with higher-level equipment, can teleport short distances. They are responsible for covert operations. They carry Marking Flares, Target Designators (for artillery strikes), and a flare gun with infinite uses.

The Squad Guardian is responsible for keeping the squad alive, and can tank hits like a boss. They carry a few of all four barrier types.

Intro: (What POV am I supposed to use? For now I'm going to use third person.)
Alarms blared, ordering everyone to get to the escape pods. Hm, I guess the Morai caught up to us after all. Leo looked out the window to see the Morai Battle Cruiser firing its artillery at the Skylark. Hearing someone running towards him, Leo sidestepped to avoid a panicking recruit. Then made his way to the escape pod bay. An explosion rocked the ship, throwing everyone off balance. Leo wrapped his cloak tighter around his armor and stumbled over to an open pod. He slammed the eject button and launched his pod into space. Inside the pod, Leo watched other escape pods plummet towards the unknown planet. When he landed, he didn't move for a bit. It wasn't until receiving the signal to go to the spiral HQ did Leo exit his pod. Blinking in the sunlight, he drew his Valiance, holding it at the ready as he made his way to the Spiral HQ.

PS: I'll spend more time on the actual chapters, I don't think I did very good on that intro

I am going for guardian then, it seems we are out of option. But I really want to bring something fresh to the table, a dark guardian, whose past is horrible as best and is not neccessarily loyal to his teammates or the Spiral Order. He is an edgy character, but a cool anit hero that will create great contrast with the main protagonists.

Appearance: torquise personal colour, wearing a suit of ironmight plate mail with reinforced platings and reactive armor. Only his eyes can be
seen through the helmet, the rest of his enormous body is completely coverd.

Gender: male, around the age of 40, so he is much older than his fellow teammates

Faction: Spiral Order [an Ex-con who participated in Isorian civil war, fighting for the rebels against the spiral Order, but later captured]
Equipment: Azure Guardian armor, Warden helm, Guardian Shield, Khorovod (Ironmight set/shield + leviathan plade X2)

Personality: Affraiel is a very crooked middle aged man, who likes making sexual remarks about women(he has been in prison for a while, so figures) and do things his way(a complete rebel at his core), often ignore squad leader's command and charge head long into the battlefield. He praises carnage and a good fight, but there is goodside to him, deep in his heart, he always wanted to do what is right, but never got the chance to do so. This time, it is his chance to redeem (you will often see him sighing at the fact young knights are dying on the battlefield, they all left this world without a chance of enjoying it, and he has a deep hatred for Ozlo and the Spiral Order for responsible for the death of these knights)

Biography:Before the morai war, Isora had its problems, massive civil unrest and uprising is sparked across the planet, the poor knights who couldn't stand up to the gap between the rich and poor started to revoult, Affraiel, who was born an Orphan, joined the rebel in an attempt to bring down the Spiral Order. Despite born in poverty, Affraiel turned out to be the biggest and strongest of his gang, often beating up the guards at the food rationing station to get the food to the poor. Despite his bravery, the rebellion was crushed. After the civil war, he was captured by Ozlo, and along with the rest of the defeated rebel, he was sent to a forced labour camp, he was brutally tortured by Ozlo and his guards while serving his sentence, hence he developed a deep hatred for Ozlo and the Spiral Order. One day he was sent to a secret prison onboard of Skylark, Ozlo, seeing that there are promising potentials in his combat experience and incredible physical power, decided to make him the guardian of the Iron Dragon.

Intro:
[In side his dark tiny cell, Affraiel was rudely awakened by a loud siren, the sound of the Skylark's hull been torn apart can be heard even from his prison. The cell door suddenly opened, Affraiel slowly walks out while his arms and legs are still shackled, suddenly, a mircophone next to his cell spoke.]

Ozlo: "Prisoner no.6998, proceed to the prison factory..."
Affraiel: *chuckles* "Why Ozzy? Why should I trust you? I am free now..."
Ozlo: *laughs* "You think so? The section of the ship which you are in will be obliterated in a matter of second..."
Affraiel: *chuckles* "Pfft..." *a sudden quake almost made him stumble, but his rebalances* "What... What was that?!"

[Suddenly, an incendiary shell made its way into Affraiel's cell, setting it ablaze, the fire quickly enguldfed the space around him. Affraiel realizes the seriousness of the situation and shouted back at the microphone, which had a camera below it, Ozlo has been watching him all along.}

Affraiel: "Fine! I will go! But what is in the prison factory? Cooking pots?"
Ozlo: *reassures* "Don't worry my old friend, in the factory you will find what you need to escape this ship..." *unshackles Affraiel's iron hand culfs with a remote* "Go, be quick, time is running out... I am trying to save you..."

[Affraiel, seeing that there is noway he can escape the ship on his own, forced himself to trust Ozlo this time. He made it into the factory and inside it, there is a set of newly made Ironmight and two leviathan blade, there is also a letter on the ground that simply says 'enjoy your presents', Affraiel recognizes the hand writting, it was Ozlo's. "Is he honestly setting me free after what I have done? There is something fishy about this, Ozlo won't just give me these equipements for nothing..." thought Affraiel as he puts himself into the armor. But at the last second, just as he finished encasing himself inside the armor and picks up his weapons, the locks on the armor suddenly engaged, in a panic, Affraiel tries to take the armor off, but the attempt was futile.]

Affraiel: *enraged* "WHAT HAVE YOU DOOOONE?!?!" *tries to pry open his helm with a crowbar, but the crow bar broke before making a dent in the modified ironmight armor* "OZLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Ozlo: *speaks from another mircophone* "You will be dispatched to the delta team once you landed on the surface, join them and you will know your mission. From now on you will carry your own prison!. A war is comming, with all its glory, and all its terror. Mister Affraiel, your freedom awaits..."

[Another high explosive shell made it into the factory and torn a hole on the side of the Skylark, Affraiel is instantly catapulted into the air by the explsion and started to freefall. In the mid air, he sees dead bodies, scrap metals and other bits been launched into the air along with him, so much devastation, so much death, all due to the action of one man.]

Affraiel: *shouts furiously at the direction of Skylark, knowing that Ozlo is watching* "I WILL HAVE MY VENGEANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

[As Affraiel made contact with the planet's atmosphere, his modified ironmight iron armor prevented him from been disintergrated. The extreme heat brought Affraiel to a coma and the impact of his armor against the planet surface created a massive crater. As he regained his consciousness, it was clear that he was sent here to do Ozlo's biddings. The armor was amazing, it survived the planet's atmosphere and protected Affraiel's body from the fall at terminal velocity, even after all this, the armor remained functional.]

Ozlo: *calls him from the communicator inside the suit* "So, Mister Affraiel, how was the fall?"
Affraiel: *sneers* "You call that a fall? I didn't feel a thing!"
Ozlo: *smiles* "Now that is the spirit! The locations of the three members of your team are located on your radar, find them and they will tell you about the mission. I have already provided them with your cover up story so play along, tell them the truth and the suit will be set to self-destruct, good luck Mister Affraiel, your suit will be automatically disengaged once your mission is over... now get to work."

Personality: Honourable & Brave, which is the reason he was opted for squad leader, but at the same time is suave, well mannered, and at times a little blunt in social situations.
Biography:
*ahem* (This is gonna be a long one).
Solomon was recruited on a Backwater planet, named Faran, in a town called Nahalac. It was under the "protection" of Isoran corsairs for longer than he could remember, before he was born. It wasn't the most pleasant or PC place in the galaxy, but it was safe from other raids at least. All the corsairs took on a policy to take whatever they wished in return for their services.

One Isoran boy lived with his father, after his mother died from child birth. For this reason, his old man blamed the boy for his wife's death. The relationship between the two wasnt a settling one. The boy worked in the local markets, selling whatever produce he could make up or hunt down. Any profits he made were slit in half, and given to the corsairs. They were then split in half once more, as his Father took some for general supplies, such as food & accomadation. Despite the lack of funds, the boy was happy at his simple, yet abused life style.

Then the day of the Knight's Liberation came, and plunged the planet into chaos. Corsair vehicles of scrap & guns flew at high speeds toward the infiltration points of the Spiral Order, hoping to kill them before they gained a foothold. The reality was far more messy. The Order had taken up holds in various towns, relying on the rash nature of the corsairs to come to them, and be gunned down by their defences. One such town, Nalahac, was taken. The knights rushed about the scene, mixed up with the panicking locals trying to find shelter of the coming siege. Solomon tried to run back to his home from the market, when the shells flew over the town, lighting up flats and shops like pyres, while making living candles inside. The boy was frozen by fear, as a shell came barrelling toward him in the street. He closed his eyes, awaiting his impending doom, when all that he recieved was a tackle out of the shell's path. A loud explosion could be heard, as it eventually detonated in a burning house. The boy opened one eye, to see a Knight in cracked armour, with a red sash around him. A tinned voice came from the armet,

"Are you safe, Boy?"

The confused and shell-shocked Soloman stared at the Knight, until he swiftly fell unconcious. When he awoke, his surroundings were different. No longer was he in a war-torn street, but a metallic cabin of sorts, with medical equipment and light blue curtains surrounding him. Swiftly backing up to the head of the bed, he curled himself tight, trying to feel as secure as possible. A knight with vitasuit & white coat strolled past the curtain, face down on a clipboard. Soloman looked from the newcomer and clipboard, and finally but shakily asked a query,

"A-Are you go-going to t-tell me Im D-Dead?"

The Medic looked up from the clipboard with a warm smile, and answered the boy, as if the sight of him strained and curled up on the side of the bed, asking if this was the afterlife was all the norm. She spoke with clarity and compassion, which made Solomon relax ever so slightly.

"No, you're quite lucky this time. Sigmund brought you to the ship when you fell unconscious in his arms. If he hadn't found you, you may have ended up like the rest of that planet". Solomon froze, what did she mean by 'like the rest of that planet'? The boy scrambled off the bed, and brushed past both doctor and curtain to a nearby window. The planet he had once called home was stained with fire and havoc, it's once blue & sandy surface now reduced to a Black & Molten ball of war and chaos. He had no idea how long he was out for, what had happened to everyone he knew, or the fate of the corsairs in the end. However, none of him cared. Dwelling on the past, no matter how terrible events leading to the present may have been, wont do any good. So he blinked, and wiped away his tears as he cast his gaze over Faran. The ship was on course for Isoran. To begin his training as a squire.

The months of training were hard and pushed him to his limits, but having nothing else to live for, he pushed onward, striving for military perfection to at least try ad impress the one person he looked up to. His rescuer, and as he later found out, Defender Elite, Sigmund Baneshield. Soloman grew as he trained, gaining muscle, composure and form. Sigmund taught him manners in his spare time, along with etiquette and speech. All that he hadn't the chance to learn, back on Faran. He moved up in the ranks, and social ladder, making new connections and expectation with famous names within the order. He had gained the rank of Defender by the time the Morai attacked.

He was in charge of a small garrison of men in an outpost out on the frontlines. Sigmund has since been promoted to bodyguard the council members of the Order's officials. As such, he was stationed back at Isoran's capital, away from the conflict. At least that was one thing off of Solomon's mind as the Morai began to make their move. The swarm of mechanically enhanced Morai moved in over the battlefield, as proto turrets blazed and blitzed, taking down a good number of the forces. The Morai were fast approaching, now in a full charge toward the turrets and men. The recruits were petrified in fear, until a sound rang through the war-cries of the Morai and recharge sounds from the turrets. A single commander.

"Men & Women at arms! This battle is hard pressed on each and every one of us, and under any other circumstance I would not blame any of you for taking cover and falling back to safer ground. However if this point falls, then they, the Morai scourge, will be able to gain ground and counter against our brave others who risked their lives making it this far. I ask not of you to die for Isoran, or to die for your honour. But instead I ask, no. I command you to live, and fight. We shall not die here, and we shall not fall. We are Knights of Isoran, the best of the best, and we shall find victory in the shadows of the unknown, wherever it may hide!"

The recruits found themselves inspired by the stirring words of Solomon, gaining confident footing, and bringing guns up to bear. The few morai that made it past the turrets were swifly gunned into submission by the stead-fast guard of the recruits. A Blaster shot rang out into the head of a survivor trying to crawl forward. The hands around the handle, and finger on the trigger belonged to Solomon. The battle made him elegible for an official commander ranking, and he was elevated to the rank of Sigmund, on that fateful day of his rescue. Wearing his colours proudly, he fought on in the wars against the Morai, gaining valour and admiration in the eyes of his battle brothers & sisters. By the time the heated conflict had subsided, he was a Champion of the Order, one rank under Sigmund who had claimed the distinguished role of Vanguard. The world was not all at peace however, as the war had taken its toll on the energy reserves that the Isorans needed so dearly. The council voted on a swift course of action, to search the stars for a new source of energy they could use to replenish their reserves.

The ship in question, the Skylark, would do just that. The ship needed officers to accompany the crew however, in case of hazardous conditions, and to lead the soldiers garrisoned aboard. Sigmund nominated his Son-like Champion as an option, and after much debate, he was accepted along with the captain, and a few others.

Solomon was pacing around in his Azure Guardian armour, having been promoted before setting out on the mission, to accompany his new Officer role. His new armour was based on the set he had used, and he appreciated the trust that had been given to him, but he had a bad feeling about the mission. Like something was going to test him to his limits. He wasn't wrong, as the Skylark began to flash with alarms and lights. Solomon awoke to the noise, and began to set out to give out comands to soldiers and crew in the upcoming emergency.

Intro: A barrage of explosive gunfire rips into the Skylark's hull, sending a massive metal beam in your direction. You try to duck, but it hits you squarely in the head and knocks you out.

You wake up still hearing the wailing sirens, but this time, you realize that you're moving. Someone is dragging you to the escape pod bay. You lift your eyes a little bit to see a young woman with beautiful golden hair and a determined face staring down at you. Never before did anyone look more beautiful to you than she did at that moment. She drags you into an escape pod, straps you into the only seatbelt, and hits the LAUNCH button. Several tense minutes pass before your pod hits ground and you pass out once more.

When you come to, you glance around the pod. Warm fluid is soaking into your back, and it doesn't take you long to realize that it's blood. But it's not your blood. The woman who saved you is lying face down in the pod, her skull split open from the impact.

No one knows what you went through that day. Maybe you felt guilty, elated, or some other emotion. Maybe you went off and killed some animals to vent your rage. All we know is that you entered the makeshift Spiral HQ one day, never expecting what you were about to see in the briefing room.

Individual battle sprites removed.

The new sprite is playable.

To answer a few questions, the Male Love Interest, Guardian, Recon, Villain, and squad Drakon are currently available. I will be adding various Morai roles shortly.

Multiple roles per player are not allowed yet.

App analysis

Note: I recommend applying for all the roles you're interested in (with the understanding you'll only play one). That way, if one of your apps gets rejected, you still have something else to try for. It may also give you the chance to land a role that someone else is vying for, because not everyone who wants a particular role will get it.

@Colray: Your app is rejected. I'm judging your ability to write as much as I am the character you've made. Your intro is lazy, and it doesn't give me much confidence that you can properly handle a main role.

@Midnight-Dj: Your app and intro are very well-written. I don't like that you used Ozlo and the Spiral Order as the villain though. Ozlo in particular may be released as a playable character in the future. Try using Lord Serris; he's a corrupt senate beaurocrat who may play a key role in the story.

@Edolas: I love your app. Your intro in particular is a splendid story on its own. If no one else is able to write up a better app for that character soon, you've pretty much sealed that role for yourself. ;)

Name: fildisk
Personality: very aggressive, (goes all out) doesn't belive in sadness. A bit grumpy and very resistent. Sarcastic.
Bio: Fildisk had turned aggressive a few years after he was built, some say it was from some sort of a tragic accident, others say a previous owner might have died and he didn't want to lose any more knights, more say he has seen wars and that toughened him a lot, and more say the Collecter did something to him to make him that way, but really, it was all of those (except the Collecter one). Although he sometimes goes ahead and attacks without warning, he is pretty powerful. He refuses to go with any new owners, until Morlin starts forceing him to go. He is only used in certain times of need.
Intro: it was a regular day in the lab, and fildisk was regularly hanging around in his cage when Morlin came around and opened the door. "Get out," he said, "Your getting a new owner in the Delta Squad."
"No," said Fildisk, "I refuse to get a new owner, especally not for anouther one of your silly squads. Let me guess, is it for investigating your alpha squad, or is it for investigating the core again?"
"Nope," said Morlin, "You are going to anouther planet."
"Finnally, you knights come up with something origional, but I'm still not going."
"Why do you always have to refuse?"

@creeperlucario: You can apply for any of the roles, But It's not guaranteed that others will not get it first.

I admit I definitely could have done better. But at the moment I have no way of using a computer and the app had been posted from a mobile device. If you want to see my writing, then go see my story I've written. It's called -Paths- and I'm still continuing it. I can write well, just not from an IPod. But, I won't contribute to this RP if you don't want me to.

PS. Wow, Skylark down is already at like 9 pages! Did that just start today?

Lack of customizing here so I am going to pass not to mention, the only one left was villain and I am bad with all the things mentioned. Also Liminori, when I placed my comment at the start, Guardian and Recon where the only choices, it got changed after a day or two.

*Yes, actually. The character's gender is not a hard rule, but I will only let it be changed if a strong case can be made for the other gender.

@Colray: Believe it or not, I've managed to write many story posts from my iPhone. Quality need not suffer just because you're using a different medium.

I'm not asking you to stay away from this RP, and I'm not even saying you can't write well. You just didn't leave me with a very good impression of your skills. I can only work with what you've given me, and you've given me a poor app.

@Creeperlucario: What do you mean that the villain was the "only one left?" Just because it's the only role no one applied for doesn't mean the other roles are unavailable. Multiple players can compete for the same role, and the best one will get it.

Wow, that was fast....

Gah! Wow, dang, I don't think I'll have time to write so many in-depth, fleshed out apps for a chance they may be accepted. Also, seeing the competitive nature of app selection, are you just going to look at apps as they come in and close the spot the second you find one fitting? Or are you going to wait a certain amount of time to allow multiple people the ability to write up apps for a character? Or you could even wait until a certain character has so many apps before choosing one...

So which method are you currently looking at?

One more thing too, is the Delta Squad brought together last minute? As in, when the story starts the Delta Squad is created? Or are the characters (with exception of Villian of course) supposed to have history with the Squad's existence?

It's not a random decision. I look for best-fit.

That's the plan.

The characters already have a history with the squad's existence. Most of them were part of Delta Squad during the Morai Wars, several years before the crash. Feron recognized that some of the squad members might not have survived the crash, so he had a few knights lined up for replacement. Unfortunately, he had to take advantage of that; Delta Squad lost its Striker in the crash, so he had him replaced with Evaria.

*The arch-villain Mother Teresa has been made available. She is the beautiful, slippery mastermind behind the Morai operations on Cradle.

*The hero Ghor'Khazaim has been made available. He works for the villains, but has a good heart. He is unlikely to switch sides, but he is also unlikely to participate in cruelties, unlike his partner Diavolo Sintaris.

*Diavolo Sintaris and Ghor'Khazaim are partners, and they travel Cradle together hunting for elite Knights to destroy. Khazaim is the guardian, Sintaris is the striker. They do not have a recon or squad leader as of yet.

Biography: Once upon a time, (Just a good starter sentence) Leeroy was a Bounty Hunter who worked under the forces of Morai. He was one of the best in his squad, The Beta squad. Only one other person stood out to him in that squad, And his name was Rabry. He was the most fearsome and cruel in his group. And yet... He had a soft spot for his brother, Leeroy.
They worked together, and did what no other Squad could. Until that fateful day... "Keep your hands in the air! If you move, We WILL not hesitate to shoot!" A spiral Warden had warned him. What happened afterward, Was not up to him, but the Spiral Order. They later had decided: If you do not work for us, You will be killed. If you betray us, You will be exiled or killed, Depending on the severity. And so, He was forced onto the Skylark, While kept close watch on... at all times.
Eventually, He found he could trust most of those Of the Spiral Order, And even agreed with their morals- Except for those who had the highest positions, Those who made the decisions among The Order.
Intro: Before Crash:
"Good morning, Lee!" A girl, In her late teens stood bent over his head. "Sherry, What are you doing here? You know you aren't allowed in here!" Leeroy whispered, Only shifting in his bed, As she was bent over his head. "Captain Ozlo told me to wake you up! You're being assigned to a Squad today!" Leeroy groaned- "What, So that they can keep an even more secure watch on me, Or so that they can send me on suicide missions?" Sherry straightened her back "Oh, enough of your grumbling, What matters is that The Order trusts you enough to let you be a squad member!" Leeroy sighed, and did his daily routine. Brush, Scrub. E-paste, Scrub. Since he always slept in his clothes, He didn't have to worry too much about Sherry, and started putting his armor on.

Leeroy always liked to be prepared, so he brought his weapons as well, But when he saw his heater shield, He simply ignored it, and picked up his Parrying Knife instead. "You're still going on about how Shields are clunky, distractions, and too heavy?" Sherry asked. "Yeah, They are. A parrying knife is just as good, if not better." Leeroy replied. Sherry rolled her eyes, and tugged at Leeroy's arm. "Come on, We need to get going."

"Good morning, Leeroy. Today, You will be assigned to the Delta Squad. Now would be a great time to get to know them."
During Crash:
(Reuse ahead) "Attention, All crew, The Skylark will crash in less than 10 Minutes. Please remain calm, and get to the escape pods."
No... We can't fail now! Leeroy started looking around, Desparately looking for Sherry; As she was the one and only person who didn't hate him for being a Morai soldier- But alas, Everywhere he looked, Sherry was not to be found.
Suddenly, Someone tugged at his arm. "Dammit Leeroy, Let's go already!" And behind him, Was Sherry. "Oh thank god, You're safe! Alright, Let's go!" Sherry laughed, "Still worrying about me? You know I can take care of myself, You silly fool."

After Crash:
"No, no, no!" Stay with me dammit!" His sight was phasing in and out... "You always were a bit too naive, Sherry..."

I'll leave it as that, To... Build up uncertainty.

And by the way, since battle sprites only emerged with their unique powers after the crash and exposure to Cradle, how exactly did this level 105 Drakon come about?

Artistic liberties. xD

The amount of time I've allotted isn't fixed. I'll only begin assigning and accepting apps when there exist applications for all available roles. If applications for unfilled roles are not forthcoming, then I will begin assigning apps when I have the bare minimum necessary to begin play.

We're probably looking at about a day or two before I begin the story.

@Liminori: I was wondering when someone would notice. Their identical surnames is not coincidental. ;)

@Darkwatck: How do you feel about taking control of one of the villains? If you're up for playing a female character, Mother Teresa would be right up your alley as a major influential force on the story. Otherwise, Diavolo or Ghor'Khazaim would be excellent choices. Since you're a GM, you get priority choice. Heck, you could even create a character of your own if you so wish, though I'm not keen on the idea.

@Creeperlucario: There are two striker-class characters in play. One of them, Evaria, is already taken (by me). The other one is implied to be Diavolo Sintaris. More strikers may crop up over time, so if you can't find one you like at the moment, don't give up looking.

Hey, uh Thinslayer?

You know how this is an alternate timeline?
I've been thinking, What if we were to use some of our... previous characters? Would you object? I mean, Clearly there would be different interaction and severity, So this could be very interesting if some were to be added again...

E:Disastorous if we were to say that those characters had the exact same bio and intro, But not so if we were to carefully try not to mess with the original story itself, But making small additions.

EE: Well, yes- But that's to say that we were to add ALL of the characters. In my opinion, Characters such as Rigger Marsh would make the least sense in a story like this, Unless we were to say that this is the same universe/timeline, Which it quite clearly isn't.

EEE: Which is why you input certain rules for things like this, For instance, How many imported characters there can be, And how much detail you can put into sub character posts, Stuff like that!

EEEEE: Technically finished the app, Unless... You'd like me to make it perfect.

That would be disastrous to the story. I would object quite strongly.

EDIT: I disagree, for mechanical reasons. The thread would be overloaded with text and posts, making it difficult to wade through the main storyline.

EDIT2: Imagine trying to wade through multiple divergent plots. I can't do it. Using the example you provided, all Edolas' posts would contain the stories of both Solomon Trent and Rigger Marsh. Now multiply that by all the other players who want to import their characters. That would be a nightmare, and I would graveyard this RP faster than you can say "that's too complicated."

EDIT3: That wouldn't work. More rules =/= better experience.

Hmm, see I always value Information about the enemy or my allies for as I see it, information is power. The more you have, the more powerful you can be. As for the Intel Officer bit, IDK it might be a little tricky when it comes down to things that need to be touched on for we will be discriminating the information to them about the direction of the story as well as where we want them to go while giving the PC's a since of freedom.

Add in a non-Moderator as the Intel Officer and you might as well hand over the direction of the story, ImO its inporten to keep those roles for your self Thinslayer. I mean I am just saying, take my words however you will.

Also, go ahead and start filling in names for the roles you have assigned in the OP. That way we can understand who has the roles already.

Some gameplay notes

It may be advantageous for some players to modify their activity levels based on the progress of the story. For instance, the main villains should not be nearly as active as the main heroes until the end.

Those wishing to stay active in spite of the story's progress may find it advantageous to push for a rather different story. For example, if the current story is mostly adventure-style with the boss villain appearing at just the beginning and end, maybe try pushing for a story where both hero and villain must frequently interact, say when one of them is captured or when they are forced to cooperate.

Otherwise, we're left with a story whose flow is frequently disrupted, as I learned from playing with Deadly-Sin-Revenge in a recent RP (I'm not intending to malign you, Deadly. You were fine. We were both learning).

Have a start, Middle, Climax, End, epilog (outro) This will get the ball rolling for allot of things, the main point being as such. Don't give in to the side stories, should one try and go off say something, if it keeps up force it back into line via event, and if that fails I hate to say it, terminate the one who is trying to derail the story.

In the end you need to be able to make room for everyone with out giving up the main goal. This means people are going to die off, reguardless if they like it or not, but if this is the case they should understand that its part of the story and builds to the drama that is the stage. Get not the wrong Idea I am not saying kill everyone but the main's. What I am saying is this, take a moment to get the story in line. Start to tell it then as it goes, cut loss the needless sides and ends. Lingering too long will in the end make not room for the final act.
