Well, this was more fun than I thought it would be. I’ve never seen one of these done, so I’m pleased with the way it went.

A good mystery story has clues to point you in the right direction without making the mystery easy enough to solve. That's a pretty thin line to walk. I also employed a standard bit of misdirection by joining in the investigative team.

The first round of messages contained some good clues if you knew something about me, namely, my Dragon Princess nickname, my signature Dragon Helm / Radiant Silvermail look, and my position as founder and senior Guild Master of Lionheart guild, of the Lionheart Honor Sword and King Richard heritage.

I did not expect anyone to pick up on the first letter of each line spelling out my name yet, but it was there in both the first and second round of clue messages.

Here are the first round of messages. The words in ( ) have been added by way of explanation.

Many are the fallen who have fought me on the forums. Their name is legion for they are many, and you shalt be numbered amongst them. Your time draws near.

All those who oppose me in malevolence end banned in sackcloth and ashes. Your doom shalt be Biblical in its proportions. Repent, oh wayward soul, for your time draws near.

Woe unto you and thy ilk, for you shall be smitten for your iniquities. Repent and humble thyself. Do not become like a passionate-light snuffed out

All my radiance glows in fiery glory, and brings unto my children an abundance of joy and blesses them with and honor. (I wear a fiery dragon outfit or Radiant Silvermail most of the time. My guild regards me as their mother sometimes.)

Shining forth in regal golden light, I smite the unworthy with my mighty sword while upholding the plight of the downtrodden. Join me, or stand aside lest you be trampled the my mighty throng that is my guild. (I also have regal wings and a sunshine aura.)

Haven awaits the worthy Vanguards who fight unto the end for in my Hall they shall find rest and a café to refresh their souls. Heed these words, knight, and join us in faithful fellowship.(We have a Dragon Heart Café in our guild hall.)

In Guild We Trust for it has never let us down. A mighty power, a fountain of fun, an overflowing mist well of wit and chat – these are but a few of the phrases used to describe us. Join, and you shall find rest for your soul.

Mighty is my pen, and sharper than any two-edged sword, for it divides the body that is our world while bringing pleasure and healing to others. Read and heed my words, and wisdom shall be your reward. (fan-fiction reference.)

Onward I have fought against odds that would have crushed a lesser knight. Guilds I have seen humbled, and monsters I have seen slain by the phalanx. Join me in a guild of great Honor.

No eye has seen nor ear has heard or mouth has tasted nor nose has smelled the delights that await those who join our guild. No delight in the Orient is a sublime as the guild of One who leads the knights of royal heritage.

Older than most though I be, wisdom and leadership I do bring, with myriad posts do I sing my song in the forums and Townsquare. Come and see – you shall not be disappointed.

And here are the second round of messages, each sent out to a different player.

Coulds’t thou be the One to knowest me (not in the biblical sense, ofc)
Many thinkest me to be a lowly delta knight? They wouldst be called “fool” to assume such.
Alpha am I since my name contains two “a”s. I never played beta nor am I delta.
Who but I could fit the descriptions here laid in.
Any other knight would be a fiction.
Soon all will be revealed.
Have thou the brains to match thy guts?
I played not in the Beta version, nor am I gamma ray green. My colors are of royalty as befitting my title.
My identity is hidden in these messages.
Only a knight with the wisdom of Merlin and the bravery of King Richard might decode it.
Ne’er has there been a knight of my pedigree.

The third round of messages was actually just one message sent to four players. It said (without the bolded letters):

The Beatles’ albums motif was just another bit of distraction or misdirection. I expected this to be the final round of messages since my name was so clearly (clearly to me, anyway) vertically lined up in the message.

A fourth message that I didn’t need to send out employed the same vertical code. I think you’ll recognize the song.

It's rap (duh), so it's got a bit of an in-your-face attitude (tho not nearly as much as the real song).

Note, if you are ever planning on trying this, don’t create an account for this, send the messages, then delete the account. The letters end up saying from "A Retired Knight". The problem with this is that any other player can imitate you and thus mess up the game. So use the same new character throughout the game.

As for the Forge Prize box, well, Cinoa was the first to notice the vertical spelling of my name, but connected me with no other clues. (Draycos and likely other players noticed as well.) I was hoping for more to qualify for that prize, but I’ll send him something all the same.

Well, I hope it was fun for you, too, and thanks for being good sports about it all. Needless to say, I'll never be able to do one again since I'd be the first suspect but I look forward to other players giving it a go.

So my plan did work then. I suspected you when you posted the matrix blue and red pill thing. And obviously I didn't get further mail. I noticed you ignored that comment and became agitated when people started to leave. I wonder if Seiran left for the same reason.
