commentary on the rules with suggestions included below:

-If you want to take someone's rank you have to beat them best 3 out of 5 in a 1v1 if the players are from the same server.

-If the players are from diferent servers the 1v1 are to the best 2 out of 3 in each server.
also fair, still restricts server advantage from being an absolute determinant but does also limit players who have a hard time in their own server.
SUGGESTION: those who don't care about global ranking can make their own ladder based on current rankings and modify accordingly, or ponyboy can make a US only list and EU only list, up to you all

-You can only challenge up to 3 ranks above you if you are in top 11-50.
would suggest making this huge bold letters because stupid questions

-You can only challenge the one who is above you if you are in top 10.

-The challenged has 96 hours from the moment the challenge is thrown to play with the challenger, otherwise he's given a loss.

SUGGESTION FOR 2): make it required for players to mail both the defender and an alt of yours as a record keeper, at least to narrow it down to a day when the defender was challenged

-You can't use AT in the 1v1.
not sure what stating this will do, there's little to indicate whether someone's using AT in some cases

-In the 1v1 of the top 10 the players must record

If someone is on vaccation for one week, does that mean one will lose rank like multiple times if challenged alot? We should have some kind of rule against abuse. The meaning is to rank up by fighting. But at the same time, I wouldn't mind being able to challenge people. (muhaha, lol)

i dont need a rank for telling im better than half of those guys on that list. it was fun tho ..and nope i dun wana back..to much of a paint in the butt to get from rank 50 to 30-10 if i get to challange ppl form 2 to 2 days :P

Well, it seems I am up against Grim, but there is something preventing me/us from doing that. The time difference is BIG, so either of us will be at late time, and that's probably not the best thing for both of us. Why don't you just separate EU leaderboards from US? it's just absurd...

grim here--if it's a mutual decision to not play the game (I don't want to have to wake up at 6AM e.e) do we still have to do it?
I'd much rather 1v1 against a US player (reason I challenged dendios/dragneel was because I wanted on it, since beating nozo/juma wasn't enough apparently)

OK..since the 3 people ahead of me are all EU; I challenge either silvonix or shinsuky..preferably shinsuky, but whoever is closer to me time-zone wise (CST, -6 GMT).

The big, major flaw with this is obvious. I challenged shinsuky (via mail) 24 hours ago. Some people in this list aren't active, and if they aren't active (and aren't able to respond to challenges), the challenger is the person who gets the beef for it.

Firstly, I'm extremely flattered to even be mentioned in the top 50 of this list but can someone please explain how players that are obviously better than me are in fact 'below' me?!
Also, I doubt I'm going to challenge anyone since my position has put me in a place where I am surrounded my better players, therefore I would want to save myself the embarrassment ;)

It can be done in RLD, too.

The winning part must provide video, though. Maybe the losing part, too. Most importantly the winning part, though. A judge is preferable but there's honestly no need for it as long as both players record and upload.
