Things are looking bright

((I forgot to remove the Subsumer from the targets list, since it moved north. Correcting this now.))

Both forces hasten their portals!
The Apocrean Harvester uses Apocrean Grasp against Marcellus’s squad!

The Advance Force moves to G20 and attacks the Apocrean Harvester!

--

Turn Order Roll: Unnecessary!

“What?! You would not dare!”
Matikclocker unleashes the Rolling Thunderbow’s full power! Final Arrow!
A single arrow pierces the air, striking the Apocrean Harvester right where it hurts! 13591 damage!
All allies now have an additional Gun Charge Time Reduction: High!

“This is impossible! We are the ultimate life-forms!”
Ignem charges Argilo’s Arbiter!
Roll: 13. Instacharge!
4 swings -> Apocrean Harvester @ 12 ES -- 10,12,15,7. 2 hits! 8288 damage.

“All of this is an illusion! It is not happening… It cannot be happening!”
KV-103 unleashes Durandal’s full power! Legend Reborn!
The legendary sword wreaths itself in fire as it strikes the Apocrean Harvester! 33600 damage!

“We are... the Apocrea... we are... infinite... undying... this... is only...”
The Apocrean Harvester stumbles and falls, its eldritch form collapsing in on itself! The fell light beneath its hood fades, and the chains that bound the Lost Souls it stole break apart, setting them free.

FINISHER TIMER: 3 turns (on KV-103)
Finisher Buffs:
-Universal Damage Boost: Maximum!
-Sword Damage Boost: Maximum++! (Total: +14 stages, x1.7 damage)
-Universal Charge Time Reduction: Medium
-Gun Charge Time Reduction: Maximum!
-Gun HP Drain: 40% of Damage
-Ignore Defense: -200

The death of the Voice of Upheaval disrupted the Apocrea’s hold on the Aeternum for a few moments! Leverage Sequence is an extra 35% closer to completion!

“All right! We can handle this!”
Blake’s Squad holds their position!

“APOCREANS! BEHOLD OUR VICTORY, AND DRAW A LESSON FROM IT!”
Galvaron’s squad moves to G20 and attacks the Swarm enemies to the south with breath attacks!

“Job well done! Job well done.”
“Look at all that damage! Torchbellow constructs don’t mess around.”
The Darkfang Mender team moves to H21 and heals KV-103 to full health!

“...look! Around the Neofactorem… There is some kind of light.”
Marcellus’s Squad would have attacked the Apocrean Harvester had you not just destroyed it.
“It kinda reminds me of the fountain. Wait, does that mean...”

“Sir! Good to see you’re in one piece, sir!”
“I was more concerned about you. The Swarm here are still numerous.”
Nautilus’s squad regroups at E21 and attacks the Swarm units!
“Five crowns says they won’t be for long!”

“Dammit, there’s too many of them! I can only gun down so many!”
“Put up some Gem Walls! We only gotta last a little longer!”
Regulus’s Squad holds out!

Tovin’s team heals Nautilus’s Squad.
“Whoa! Hey, look at the big robot for a sec, Tovin!”
“What’s going on? It’s some kind of light, but not like the other ones...

The Farsor Numbers hold the line!

Holt moves toward the fray!

Neofactorem Prime’s eyes glow with a bright white light for a moment. Then, all at once, it unleashes a storm of devastating energy beam attacks!

You brace yourself as a beam of light tears past you. But the Aeternum does not hit you, or any of your allies. With perfect precision, Neofactorem Prime’s weapons blast the Swarm apart, reducing the Invasion Node to dust with a single blast! Then they turn on the Apocrea, atomizing the remainder of their force in three seconds. As the Prime opens fire, however, you see its structure start to collapse, and sink to the ground.

~get back!~
~this machine will not last much longer!~

“Advance Force! You heard the Sleeper. Stay clear of the Aeternum!”

The Aeternum slowly falls to the ground; the ground reverberates beneath your feet as you back away, and the sound of splintering metal echoes throughout the blasted Clockwork floor, interrupted by the piercing shatter as its reinforced glass eyes break apart from the strain. It’s not done firing, however- it unleashes a storm of long-range plasma blasts that sail toward the Core...

--

“Advance Force!” Palmarius shouts over comms, “Look! A storm of light is falling upon the enemy!”

“What? Are any of our forces being hit?”

“No!” Palmarius says, “It is only striking the Void creatures that were multiplying in Zallinock’s lab. Look at that! One just landed that slew a Void Gremlin without harming any of the Gremlins surrounding it.”

“Our best ballistics specialists couldn’t match that kind of precision.” Adjutant says, “I can see why the Swarm and the Apocrea wanted the Aeternum so much...”

--

No longer able to defy physics as the other Neofactorem units, the Aeternum’s structure begins to collapse into a mound of scrap metal and broken plateglass.

"Victory is ours." Nautilus says, "We have done the impossible... Victory is ours, Machinauts!"

"I can't believe it... I'm still breathing!" Vein, the Geonid scout serving under Regulus, breathes a sigh of relief.

Blake and Mary share an exhausted high-five in the background, while Pholy shouts a rousing cheer. "Yeah! YEAAAAAH! WHOOOOOOOO!"

"WAHAHAHAHAAAAA!" Galvaron roars, "YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN, MACHINAUTS! THE THREAT IS NO MORE!"

"At last..." Marcellus drops his lance, falling to his knees from exhaustion. "For once, we may have won a measure of peace."

"Wait till the King hears about this one." The leader of the Darkfang Mender squad says, "Maybe we'll get a promotion!"

"Hey!" Tovin points toward the top of the Aeternum's remains. "Hey, guys! Look up there, at the top!"

As the machine falls to pieces, a hole opens in the top of the structure, and- accompanied by the escape of steam- a glowing light emerges from within...

-The Machinauts are victorious!-

6 years later...

"We... won?" Fallen King could barely comprehend what has conspired, the blade of Durandal stained by the blood from two horrid realms. The Ultranaut took a moment to rest, kneeling with the sword still in hand.

"That trial was well worth it after all, to think I would strike the killing blow and both the swarm and the Apocrea." KV-103 looked into the sky above, "I did it, Father, Brother... Friends. This battle is well won in the name of the Machine God, I have no more regrets."

WARNING: UNKNOWN ENERGY SIGNATURE DETECTED

Fallen King rise up once more, Durandal in hand, ready to step toward the light.

Well boys we did it

"...and those who have tasted the electron arrow and the blades knew what was upon them...the slayer of Swarm and Apocrea alike. To each their own, King."

*blink* Aeternum Leverage successful. Mission complete.

"And with that said, Cradle is finally clear of the threat."

He puts the Rolling Thunderbow on his back and draws the Thunderhead, following KV-103.

"I wonder what's gonna happen now..."

~Please do not be alarmed, child of the forge.~
~I mean you no harm.~

The soft light seems to coalesce around some manner of invisible creature, whose presence reminds you of the fountain in the Almirian village.

~I am a fragment of the Sleeper, an aspect that can escape the confines of the Core.~
~I sought to aid the creatures that suffered outside in Almire's ruins...~
~Decades ago, I found the Gremlin you know as Zallinock, searching for a way to expose the Axo's crimes.~

"Then you were the Sleeper fragment that Zallinock used to create the New Gremlins and power the Aeternum," Adjutant says. "Will you be fine?"

~I will be fine. I will remain here for a while to purify the scraps of this machine.~
~I am sure you have many questions.~
~I will answer them as well as I can...~

Mission ALL Clear!

I watched the shower of light fly over us, before backing away at the Adjutant's order. With the news that the Neofactorem was now out of commission after it completed its salvo.

"We've repelled the Swarm and the Apocrea from the Neofactorem. At last, our prophecy is fulfilled." I said, holstering my weapons. Yet, I could feel that this wasn't over by any means...

. . .

I recognized that this was an avatar of the Sleeper who had helped us defend the village earlier. I wasn't sure what to ask them first. Remembering that email I had receieved, I checked my inbox and discovered someone had sent me another email during the battle, and who sent it caught me by surprise.

{Subject: Miss ya!
To: LV-909 "Ignem"
From: LV-907 "Locus"
Sent: 4 minutes ago
Body: "Howdy. Thought I had expired, right?

Woke up somewhere else. Think the local nature sprites said it was the Firestorm Citadel, or whatever was left of the kingdom of Almire. I think I was more worried with where you and the others were! While I was trying to figure out why my connection settings were broken, I found my way outta there with the help of some other Machinauts and got to the Refuge they set up.

When I got there I saw Tenebris and Tempus (phew!) and they told me you were off on the front lines, then we just got the word that ya just showed off the darkness we were created to fight. On that note, congrats! I'm just a little disappointed I didn't get to join ya for the party. How was it?

Hopefully see you soon
- Locus"}

{Of all the places she could've ended up, why Almire? At the very least, I have closure. The squad is safe.}

(And I know I missed the final battle, sorry. Doctorspacebar kept me updated on Steam. Anyway, I quickly wrapped up a hanging plot thread before the endgame exposition hits, and I will probably have a bit of a lengthy afterword about my own experience with the roleplay when it's all said and done. On that note...)
_
Intermission (2020)

Me: "So, you've been silent for a while. Why?"

Ignem: "I never thought to speak until I processed the thoughts I wanted to say to Zallinock. Then we had to defend the Neofactorem."

Me: "But didn't that lead to his death?"

Ignem: "It was...regrettable. Had you been around, would you have commanded me to stand down?"

Me: "Probably? But anyway, onto the questions about things you missed, now that we're kind of at the end of the game."

Me: "At one point, someone asked what you'll do after the conflict is over. What would you do?"

Ignem: "Peace is not only earned, it must be kept. And what's to say the Apocrea and the Swarm will be the last threats facing Cradle? Someone must be there if the peace is broken again. I predict I will be in active service for a very, very long time."

Me: "What do you want to ask the Sleeper?"

Ignem: "I'm not sure. It feels like I have closure to almost everything, and what I feel I don't have any answers on is something I don't know..."

Back to your regularly[citation needed] scheduled Machinauts.

The air around the Neofactorem's remains glows with a soft, gentle light as the Sleeper Fragment floats about it, removing the traces of the Swarm's power.

"Hey, Sleeper Fragment..." Vein asks, "Was that thing the leader of the Swarm? Now that it's dead... is the Swarm gone?"

~I am afraid they are not entirely gone.~
~The Swarm is not a foe that can be vanquished in a single battle.~
~However... the Voice of Upheaval was held in high regard by the Swarm.~
~The Apocreans may have been aiming to destroy it even more than they hoped to hijack the Aeternum.~
~And the Apocreans themselves... they have lost a Harvester.~

"TWO, IF YOU COUNT THE ONE IN DRAGONSPIRE!" Galvaron roars, "THE MACHINAUTS TOOK THAT FIEND DOWN AS WELL!"

"And we've struck blow after blow against them ourselves by raiding the Grasping Plateau," Mary adds.

~Truly?~
~Then the Apocrean invaders will be long in recovering as well.~
~The losses the two sides have sustained today will grant life on Cradle a reprieve...~
~A chance to make ready for the next battle.~

"And this time, we'll be vigilant," a Darkfang Mender says. "The Crimson Order may be as useless as before, but we've wised up. The next time either of those freaks shows up, Cradle will know."

"We've got our eyes on it, too!" Tovin says, "I'm going into Core research as soon as I get the combat pay for this. Not gonna let something like this happen on my watch!"

~I am glad to hear it.~
~Your species has grown...~
~As have your creations.~

"A lost prophecy guided the creation of Machinauts to this day..." Nautilus says, "Now that it has passed, what do we do?"

~That is for you to decide.~
~The Torchbellow Clan will see you as great heroes...~
~What shall your legacy be, after the dust settles and the past is known to all?~
~You must answer that question with the life you have been given...~

question

"I don't have much to say... " KV-103 said, "But, great sleeper, is it possible to permanently destroy the swarm or Apocrea? We dealt them a great blow today, but I doubt it is the last we would see of them. Maybe not in my lifetime, but I would rather not kick this can down the road if at all possible."

~One day... yes, it will be possible to destroy them for good.~
~However, that day has not arrived...~
~I sense that they are going on the defensive now; I know not where their main forces have retreated.~
~A token force of either side might still move against the outside world... but no more than that.~

"Very well." Marcellus says, "Then we must wait until they emerge again from their dark haunts."

~Or until the day comes that living creatures find a way to shine a light into them.~
~That day may come within the year, or it may come many ages ahead into the future...~
~But until that day comes, the line must be held.~

The Sleeper Fragment appears to be finished with the Aeternum's remains; to an observer, it would simply appear to be a particularly large heap of scrap.

"Where will you go now?" Scarlet Heir asks.

~Back to the Core. I will return to the Sleeper, and continue the battle against the Swarm.~
~There I expect to remain, and with the aid of the Core, I will do all in my power to hold them back.~
~If you should ever visit my Sanctuary, you will find safety there from the darkness.~
~Until you do... fare well, children of dreams...~

With no task left outside the Core, the Sleeper Fragment begins to depart, floating toward the edge of the Clockwork floor and down toward the inside of the planet. It stops for a moment, as if to wave its thanks- and then slowly drifts down toward the Core, where it will rejoin the Sleeper within.

--

"Phew..." Adjutant says, "Well, guess we're going to have to start actively hunting down the warring powers. According to our intel, there are still minor Swarm and Apocrean lairs... but most of the bigger ones have already been destroyed."

"Still, we must be ready," Nautilus says. "The Sleeper told us there are great multitudes of them that we have not seen. Until these multitudes arrive, we must be vigilant."

"Yeah. I'm guessing that's largely going to be the job of researchers and scouts, because I've got no clue where to start looking. Until then..."

"The path of prophecy has led all of us here, and our duty to it completed. Some of us may aid the Torchbellow outside the field of battle... Others will remain their vanguard. I see value in both."

"I guess I'm staying on as Mission Control. I'm gonna focus on researching how to find the Swarm, so if you guys get a mission from me, you know what it's going towards." Adjutant says, "Advance Force, you did it again. King, Ignem, Matikclocker... and the others that are fighting in other places... Mission accomplished."

Matikclocker
Today, the legend has been finished

Since Matikclocker had no exact questions to give to the Sleeper (because he didn't really have any that would be relevant in line with what KV-103 and LV-909 said), he kept silent for a moment, spending the time analyzing the Mission Outcome logs...

Mission Outcome:

Major damage dealt to Swarm forces.
Major damage dealt to Apocrean forces.
High Engineer Zallinock has passed away.
Sleeper Fragment survived.
No serious losses incurred.
Mission Accomplished.

Most Valued Possession: Winter Fury (Entire Upgrade Line Finished)
Fated Shot: Rolling Thunderbow: Final Arrow (Assisted in Apocrean & Swarm destruction)
CRS Construction Requests: Approximately 5 to 7 requests
Final Loadout Assessment: Hailstorm Ranger (Unique Variants/Weapon styles, Loadout classification)
All data saved.

"It's been a long time since I've last heard the words "Mission accomplished", especially from someone who isn't from the Matik Co. leader. This feeling, it's really refreshing...and I do believe--"

And thus, he has received a message sent at an unknown time, from an ambigious location. From someone no one might've remembered - Matik himself.

"Hey, is that thing working?"
...
"Look, I'm fairly sure this doesn't reach you, but if it does, I decided to retire and uh, what's it called...disband Matik Co? Disband, most likely left it in hands of other people. I just want to pursue a better career...of a freelancer. So, if you could proceed to extractio--" *beep*

"I'm not returning there. My place is with the Advance Force. King, Ignem, Adjutant, everyone...it's been an honor fighting alongside all of you. And despite my rather foreign roots, I'm willing to give you my all. I'll go help with your war against the minor Swarm & Apocrea nests - this place has a lot to discover, so for me, there's no point in leaving. I mean, we're just getting started, so why stop here?"

Sheathing the Thunderhead, he stands for a moment in one place, possibly examining the Winter Fury with its safety mode enabled. It has come a long road, from being a weapon used first in Mardrux's offices all the way to one of legendary weapons - true dedication at its finest.

"Those who have tasted the arrow and blade...the Swarm and Apocrea, will know what awaits them. Sooner or later, one way or the other."

* * * * *MACHINAUT EPILOGUE* * * * *
Matikclocker M-OVC-2002 has decided to denounce any and all relations with Matik Co, pledging himself to the cause as part of the Advance Force. He tried to overhaul the CRS Factory to serve both its intended function and as a research & exploration facility (now renamed from 'Clocker Respawn System' to 'Over Clocker Institute' (aka OCI)), on the way modifying some of his own firmware to add extensive analysis functions over time and to remove any linkage with his former manufacturer (except his iconic Overclocking system). He occassionally joins up with the Advance Force for minor missions, to relive the old times as well.

Rumors say his serial number of 'M-OVC-2002 Battle Robot' no longer suits him, some entities claiming with such advancements made, he should be known as 'the eight Clocker prototype', or 'Matikclocker M-OCI-2020 Advance Ranger Robot'.

He might've been known as a pseudo-Machinaut straight from foreign hands, but he himself feels like he's one with the team, like a full-form Machinaut.

Matik Co. staff was planning to give him the nickname of 'The Hailstorm' as per his loadout that is based around Shock and Freeze, but have pulled back after Clocker's sudden denouncement. Whether the term 'Stormclocker' fits him better than 'Matikclocker' is up for interpretation, however, he himself identifies as Matikclocker, but can let others name him differently if they desire so.

((Didn't expect me to get rid of Matik Co like that, right? Overall, when I looked back at myself during Chapter 2, I asked myself, what was I even doing at all. The idea of Matikclocker, his Overclocking and Respawn mechanics were quite farfetched now that I look at it, especially when at some point I revealed him to be an Isoran-built robot from a Matik Co blueprint. All of it, the entire concept was really bizarre to say the least - something half the structural integrity of a normal Machinaut that can enter Plus and X modes with sufficient drive tuning and processor speed raising, alongside an option to return to battle without the need for a revive? Yeah. The ending was a way to show that I have changed from my hot headed ways to a calm one - a huge advancement for someone who had a meltdown over a full shock right before charge completion in a fight against Mardrux, and that despite foreign roots, he's ready to give his all and devote himself to the cause. Still, it's been a wild ride, straight to the end. I just want to thank DSB for making this RP enjoyable and probably one of the main reasons I kept lurking around in the forums, and for dedication with his work - nearly 6 years since it all started. Now that we've ultimately reached the wrap-up, I wonder what are we all gonna do from now on.

Personally, I'm willing to read the last few additional bits of the epilogue, and then probably return to my usual everyday business - Discord, games and chill. I'll miss this roleplay very much and I hope there could be like, a special spinoff of sorts, perhaps loosely related to Spiral Knights, but with the same iconic loadout everyone has - from the blades like Durandal, Eviscerator, Thunderhead and Argilo's Arbiter, to the guns, like Winter Fury or Northstar Tempest, or even the Gravitime bomb.

Either way, I'm honestly surprised by how much have we went through through these years, and I'm kinda sad that a majority of users who have inactive Machinauts well...went inactive. Maybe they'll see how the story has concluded - which makes me wonder, what happened to the inactive Machinauts prior to the closing of the story. And with that being said, I guess this is it. I'll miss Machinauts. If anything, I have a Steam, a Discord, so I'm always available to talk at any time if you want my username or anything. Once again, thanks for making Machinauts what it is today.))

((Heck, why not? I'm Dr. Spacebar on Discord, so go ahead and add me! Actually, Matikclocker, did I ever get around to adding you on Steam?

The ideas behind Matikclocker were unorthodox, but they led to some interesting moments and overall I'm glad I found a way to work them in. +1 all stats was helpful to the party, and -50% HP was a penalty that worked to weaken Matikclocker without making him useless. Plus, the idea behind him helped me come up with Palmarius.))

ALMIRIAN VILLAGE
--

"Good day, Somna."

"Hey, Marc," Somna says, turning toward Marcellus. "How's your patrol?"

"It's been quiet," Marcellus says. "A few Slags passed the other day, but naught that's all that dangerous. I think we'll finally have some peace... Ah, how are you?" Marcellus turns toward Somna's Voltail, who's eagerly greeting him. "Who's a good dog? You're a good dog."

"Heh! You know he's expecting a treat, right?"

"Ah, of course. I've not forgotten. Here, boy!" Marcellus pulls a piece of meat from within his armor, then throws it; the Voltail seems to miss it- but then blinks past Somna and leaps up to snatch it out of the air, happily chowing down.

"Heh heh! Well, he's happy, at least." Somna says, "Did you see the south gate, just behind the old tomb?"

"Not yet. I'm still on my way there... why?"

--

"Look at it all!" Alph points toward a grassy patch that's managed to grow in the charred earth behind the old tomb.

"It's sparse, but it's there all right." Eryn says, "That water really is working..."

"At this rate, we'll be able to actually grow crops again. And just in time!" Alph says, "I hear there's a demand for quality food in Emberlight."

"So the Curse really is gone..." Eryn sighs and looks at the ground. "I wish..."

"...they'd been here?"

"Yeah. The militia would've loved to see this... The Sage, too."

"I bet they're watching us right now." Alph nods. "Wherever they are..."

--

"My time has not yet come!" Ohno reaches for a shuriken. "I refuse to die!"

"Whoa, no, this ain't that! I know you're not dead!" Von Marley, conductor of Moorcroft's trains, shakes his head. "Nah, I'm just stopping by here. I usually do, you know? Lots of passengers normally get on board at this stop. They got places to go, you see."

"...oh. Ah, my apologies..."

"Nah, it's fine." Von Marley looks around. "...place is kinda sparse, though. Normally the station's got a small crowd. Nobody died here today, I guess?"

"No. We have cleared this place of the Slag Walkers, as well." Ohno nods. "I wonder sometimes if I should leave... the village no longer needs a Shinobi."

"Ah, well, I'm just a train conductor. I'm not the guy to ask for advice. But, if you want to stay here, and they want you to stay here, maybe you all could figure somethin' out... hmm." Von Marley shrugs. "Guess it's a question above my pay grade."

"...perhaps it is not."

Don't be sad because it is over, be happy because it started.

"Adjutant, I am taking leave." KV-103 said, "Since our victory is secured, I am off to take care of... loose ends. Don't worry, if our fortune is to ever reverse, call me on my frequency and I will be back."

Fallen King did not celebrate the victory, he simply walked passed the cheering Gremlins, Almirians, Dracolisks and Machinauts alike. Eventually he vanished from the crowd, his heavy footsteps quickly faded away. He arrived in front of an ancient elevator, adjusting the destination to the ruined Torchbellow city.

The Fallen King stepped into the elevator, he turned around to see a group of young Gremlins, staring at him with both fear and reverence. They opened their mouths, but not sure what to say to an ancient machine of war like the Fallen King. Realizing that the youths are fearful of unknown after witnessing the deaths of two great evils from a great distance, KV-103 spoke up.

"Do not look to me for kindness, do not look to me for hope," KV-103 addressed the young Gremlins, they faces sunk for a moment, "I am not the brave leader of this new age, I am the bedrock at its foundation, it is up to you all now to make something of this new era." Their eyes lit up, smiled as Fallen King gave them a final salute before ascending to another level...

The elevator hummed in old mechanical rumblings as Fallen King wait to arrive at the outer edges of ruined torchbellow city. He looked up, seeing the distant artificial sunlight gave him a deep sense of nostalgia, of a home long lost, but now, at last, avenged.

WARNING: UNKNOWN ENERGY SIGNATURE DETECTED

Suddenly the elevator slowed to a crawl followed by a loud metallic screech. Fallen King gripped onto the cages of the elevator with one hand, Eviscerator on the other. The light in the elevator flickered and as the elevator came to an inevitable halt, the light died out, now only darkness remained, Fallen King switched on night vision, but there was nothing.

"SHOW YOURSELF!" KV-103 bellowed, no response came except his own echoes, he tried to reach other machinauts but their signals simply vanished, not out of range but rather as if they never existed. The surrounding gradually grew cold, to the point Fallen King had to start moving in fear of his joints freeze over.

"SHOW YOURSELF! WHO IS THIS?"

KV-103 UNIT TWO...

Fallen King...

I have waited for you...

The voice didn't came from any direction, but rather, from within. The terminal of the elevator lit up dimly with static and the outlines of a man Fallen King couldn't recognize, it wasn't any swarm entity, harvester or any fiends. But before he could make clear of the man's features, the light of the elevator reignited and the ascension began once more. The energy signature faded away.

DRAGONSPIRE

--

Arvaken gazes at the place where the Apocrean rift once was. "To think... that it would vanish so soon."

"Arvaken!" Solvariel says, "Are you well?"

"Why, I've never been better." Arvaken smiles. "The Apocrean rift I kept sealed is no longer a threat... Its menace was undone within my lifetime. I worried that I would have to pass my burden to another..."

"Good. The Apocrea must pay for what they have done to us." Solvariel says, "I come to inform you, we've decided to patrol the air above the Core. For once, we passed something unanimously!"

"Patrol the air above the Core... to stop the Swarm, I assume."

"They will not escape without our knowing it."

"A wise decision," Arvaken nods. "You have changed for the better, Solvariel. You have become a worthy leader."

"That is quite the compliment, coming from a Dragon of the ancient past!" Solvariel says, "I must do what I can to live up to those words."

--

"Wow... I never would've guessed." Scarlet Heir inspects a rusty A.I. core. "This is TH-001's?"

"I found the core in the caves near my house," Celloh says. "It's d-dormant, but... if we're careful, we can restore her!"

"I've found enough Zunne blueprints to build a replacement chassis for her, too- and for 002, while I'm at it. Oh yeah, have you got the icicle cannon for number 008?"

"Of course! And it's the strongest! ...of the ones I have."

--

The Stark Citadel looms overhead. Holt stands there, gazing at it for a while.

An image appears before his eyes, of a noble knight from a once proud kingdom: his brother, who had been corrupted into the Mirror Knight, and then freed by the Advance Force from service to the Apocrea.

The Knight's spirit waves to Holt, as if saying farewell. Holt simply nods as the spirit steps toward the doors of the Citadel, which admit gleaming torchlight from within. The spirit seems to fade into the torchlight as it passes through the doors.

Holt slowly turns about, walking away from Stark Citadel, making his way toward the next battleground...

STRATUM 2 - REFUGE SIDE

--

"Our stratum should enter normal orbit now." Regulus, Chief Commander of the Geonids, adds, "But we've been out of normal orbit for ages, so the Torchbellow aren't completely cut off from us. Before the Devilites sought out our stratum, the gear was static and isolated..."

"We would have been an easy target for the Swarm! Recall that they showed up long before Herex inserted the Core Artifact!" The Moonstone Tribe tactician at the table looks toward the ground. "To think... their malicious plot may have inadvertently saved our lives."

Regulus nods. "Those on high have done us a great favor. Let us return it! Now, if we're approached by a Breaker and three Watchers..."

--

"Ha! Original copies are still there." The original Path of the Warrior dev team, the Gremlins who wrote the codebase before a Devil-IT Ritual of Hacking stole it from them, looks over a bunch of files. A squad of Thwacker guards watches their backs.

"We'll need to remove the Polyboros crap, but once we do..." One of the devs says, "Err, also, maybe we should rename it, and reskin it. You know, because it might be a bit too soon, right?"

"Yeah, we shouldn't release the same game. I'm thinking... 'Road of the Warknight!'"

"Warknight? Is that even a word? No, no, guys, we're gonna need to spend some time on this!"

--

SURFACE

--

Vein, the Valerunner Geonid scout, looks upon the sunset from a metallic cliff. "This view is something else."

Next to him, Captain Tinder nods her head. "I never thought I'd see the surface..."

"Yeah. Hey, there's some Snipes over there."

"Aww, look at the little guys." Tinder says, "We must be near Haven, if there are so many in one place."

"Yep! This trade route is gonna bring in all sorts of resources once we get it secured. And Aytee's gonna put in a good word for us."

"Say, Vein?" Tinder asks, "You retiring anytime soon? After the whole Swarm thing, you know, you could do that. Retire early, relax for the rest of your life... The combat pay from that mission alone would cover you."

"I dunno. Are you retiring, Tinder?"

"Nah." Tinder says, "I'm going to live as a Defender, and die as a Defender. Of old age, of course."

"Yeah..." Vein shrugs. "I guess I'm not gonna retire then, either."

"You sure?"

"Oh yeah, I'm sure! On my honor as a Valerunner!"

"...all right." Tinder seems pleased with the answer. "Okay, let's get moving. We've still got a little daylight!"

SPIRAL ORDER CORE TERMINAL BASE

--

"Geo Knight Patra reporting for duty."

"You're the one that fought in that Almire village, right?" A Spiral Vanguard says, "It's a good thing you showed up. Omicron Squad needs the support."

"I'll gladly provide it." Patra looks toward the Core. "In there... the monsters that drove Arkus mad are hiding somewhere in there, aren't they."

"We can't be sure which Swarm abomination it was that drove Arkus into madness. It might've been the Voice of Upheaval that was killed in the Battle of Aeternum..."

"Maybe it was..."

"Either way," the Vanguard says, "We must avenge the lost."

"Of course... and we must make sure Cradle weathers this storm. Let's look at the point defenses here first..."

--

"Champion Pholy, this is the eighteenth match you've fought to defend your title." A Gremlin interviewer says, "Have you got anything to say to all these challengers?"

"Oh yeah! You know, I'm one of the guys that fought the Swarm and lived. So all you guys, you want to be the guy that beat a guy that fought the Swarm and lived. And you know what I say about that?" Pholy gives a thumbs up to the camera. "Right on! I didn't fight the Swarm alone, and when you're fighting the Swarm, you need backup! You beat me, and we know we've got two guys that can fight the Swarm when we know where to sock 'em!"

"You're hoping to lose?"

"I'm hoping to lose, yeah. But, challengers!" Pholy raises his hands in the air. "You can bet your bank I'm not trying to lose! If I go in there and start jobbing, it doesn't help anybody get tough enough to fight the Swarm, right? I'm not goin' easy on anybody, so you don't either! OH, YEAH!"

--

"Have we got an accord?"

"We have a cease-fire. For now." Feron says, "But it won't be flawlessly enforced. The less Swarm presence that we find, the more difficult it will be to keep skirmishes from breaking out."

Kora nods. "We'll need to focus on that, then. And we'll need to document everything we can. Some members of HQ are getting crazy ideas in their heads."

"Who'd have thought we'd live long enough to see this?" Feron says, "The Morai are still out there, and I doubt they've stopped thinking they're invincible. If they arrive, we can't expect them to understand the threat the Swarm poses... We will need to be ready to fight back against them."

"Yep. I've made contact with some of the Thaargan deserters that say they can provide us with some intel on the Morai. We're taking them with a grain of salt, since they're ex-pirates and all..."

"Hmm." Feron nods. "I suppose the Morai wouldn't get along with pirates any more than we used to. Frankly, given the choice, I'd say the pirates would be more reliable. We should acquire the pirates' intel, but we should be careful about it. I will accompany the agents personally, if that's all right."

"That will be fine. I let the deserters know there would be guards. Their leader at least seems to have some sense." Kora says, "Now, let's talk about what Delta Squad found..."

Don't be sad because it is over, be happy because it started.

ARRIVING AT: TORCHBELLOW CITY

As the elevator gate opens with a cloud of old dust as Fallen King returned to the city of his origin. The ruins was ancient now, the area around the elevator had not been touched for almost two centuries. As the Ultranaut moved through the ruins he saw the remnants of that final battle before his internment to stasis: destroyed machinauts buried inside the rubble of the place they once swore to defend and the skeletons of dead Dracolisks. Broken golden statues of famous Gremlin scientists and Machinauts littered the place, their only witness were the chirping snipes, who were unaware of their achievements and past glories.

Fallen King traced his way to the place of his origin, Gerllax's personal lab and home, where his brother was said to had his last stand against an entire swarm of Dracolisks. Fallen King could imagine: even as the scaled filth overran his position, Unit one's howling chainsword could still be heard even in the midst of the roaring tempest. The last stand of the Machinauts, it was a battle that would have been made legends, if anyone now lived to remember, or cared to remember those hallowed days.

"Sorry I wasn't there, brother," rummaging through the debris, Fallen King couldn't find a single piece of his brother's remains (those damned looters), let alone his fathers, "I would have gladly died at you and father's side. Better that I perish than to live with the burden of this, poorer, darker new age."

"No."

"No, maybe I had to survive that calamity..." Fallen King said to himself as he constructed two graves for his fallen family. A small pile for his stronger and pragmatic brother, and a bigger pile for the man who gave him his life. "... maybe, I was destined to fight in the new world, and usher in this new age." This moment contemplation was short lived...

Indeed you were...

The same voice from inside the elevator hours ago now appeared behind the Fallen King. He didn't notice any foot steps or even environmental disturbances before the voice appeared, but somehow, it did. The Ultranaut turned around to the source of the voice, it was a man in a metal suit that looked even older than some of the Almirian battle plates seen in the firestorm citadel. His one arm radiated with the energy of the core, and the other seeped with corrupting swarm energy, all of this is completed by a massive semi-transparent golden sword carried on his shoulder, itched with an unknown language.

"Just what are you?" Fallen King said, eviscerator and durandal in hands. Before the man even announced his name, he already felt that the man's presence exuded an overwhelming sense of ominousness. Not even the three way battle between swarm and Apocrea had given Fallen King such conniptions.

I am lord Inceptron, the will of Cradle... I have been observing you since the day you were awakened from your stasis. And now that we are alone, I still have one last test for you...

"Test? For what?"

To see if you have the will to inherit this world...

TORCHBELLOW-SIDE, DEPTH 1 MACHINAUT STASIS VAULT

--

"Yeah, that was all of 'em." IS-22B 'Toby' nods. "Ain't no reason to wait around in here anymore."

"Perhaps the plots here can go to the Machinauts that rested in them. Some of us could make good use of them. A fair few Gremlin survivors might also find use for those that have no Machinaut to claim them." MZT-017 'Atoner' looks at the place where his corrupted vault once was. "I could use my old vault, myself."

"Not a bad idea, Tone. Reckon I'll run that by the Mayor..."

--

THE REFUGE

--

"That datalog Wrecch left behind has already given us some leads."

IS-M44 'Adjutant' looks over a report by one of the Machinauts running the Lab. "Hmmm. Looks like a few almost got away with it... Councilor Kaan was secretly a member? Who'd have thought?"

"Kaan? The one that sold out to the Apocrea?" The Lab Machinaut asks, "You think they're connected to the Apocrea? Or the Swarm?"

"Who knows?" Adjutant sighs. "It's hard to find a reliable way into Apocrean territory for longer than a few weeks. And he Swarm's trails have gone quiet on this side... it looks like their main operations are near the Great Colony and Haven."

"The Isorans and the Great Colony Gremlins... both have lost good soldiers to the Swarm. Maybe they're going to fight back against them?"

"We'll see. For now, we should follow these leads. Some of the Axo are still involved in some shady business..." Adjutant says, "But this time, they're not getting away with it."

--

"Hi! How's Number Three?"

Tovin looks down from the top of Orion III. "Huh? Oh, hey, you're the one who made this, right?"

"Yep." Nalki says, "Number Two is still in Dragonspire right now."

"Well, Number Three's all ready to go." Tovin grins. "The Devilites hit him pretty hard, but it's nothing we can't fix, right?"

"All right! Good job, guys!" Nalki walks up to the gigantic Gunhound and blithely pats it on the head. "Good boy, Orion! Ooh, look at the time, I gotta go."

Nalki trots off, presumably late for a class. One of Tovin's Mender team says, "Man, she made this?"

"Building things is getting a lot more popular since the Advance Force's clash with the Swarm." Tovin shrugs. "Guess that's more stuff for us to fix. All right, back to work!"

The Guardian of the legendary items watches the events unfold.

“The new legends were forged, but the war is far from over. The prophecy is over with, and who knows what may follow that? Even now, the warring powers that were undone hide and lick their wounds. A fierce blow has been struck, but adversity will come again, with the next Apocrean scheme and the next Swarm plot.”

The Guardian speaks. “You must remember, you who forged new legends… learn from those around you, and from those who have come and gone before you. Do not lose hope, and always seek truth. That is my instruction to you.”

“You sure talk a lot, Guardian.” The Stranger that appeared in the final Test says, “Who is it you’re talking to right now, anyway? They can't hear what you're saying. Sometimes, you confuse me.”

“Ah, yes. You are the final tester, right?” The guardian says, “Your vision, which you showed to the Advance Force in that test… Tell me what you think of it.”

“It was inspired by the past. But, maybe it’ll be the future. Imagine it! A peaceful Cradle, for once, where no one has to worry about getting offed by a stray Greaver. That Moorcroft conductor would be happy to have the R&R, that’s for sure.” The Stranger says, “Only problem is, I’m not sure if those Constructs are enough to pull it off. They weren’t perfect, you know. Nobody is. Not even us.”

“True. But…” The Guardian looks off into the distance. “Perhaps there is hope that your vision may come to pass after all.”

Don't be sad because it is over, be happy because it started.

"Will of Cradle?" Fallen King questioned the man in the metal suit, "Who are you to claim godhood?!"

Godhood? I am no god, for I was once a man... with a single swing from this sword, I restarted the universe...

"Restarted?"

I was standing there, at the end of my world, as the last visage of life fell away from my universe, I stood, with this sword in hand...

"Meaningless gibberish." Fallen King rebutted, "How can you verify your claim, Inceptron?"

With a single swing of this blade, I separated the light from the dark. And gave life anew...

Seeing that his words were ignored by Lord Inceptron as he simply carried on with his speech, Fallen King launched Durandal into the air, the ancient sword flew like a javelin headed straight for Lord Inceptron's chest. But it missed...

In the last second, Lord Inceptron simply sidestepped Durandal. Fallen King didn't see motion from his foot, it was as if Lord Inceptron manipulated the space around him to simply to be directly in the path of the flying sword. Fallen King charges the man in the metal suit in an attempt to silence his perceived ravings. Eviscerator roared but could only biting thin air as Lord Inceptron phased away from every strike, he didn't dodge, he simply wasn't there when Fallen King struck.

The Machinaut stood back in confusion, it was true that not every blow the Fallen King had ever struck landed on its target, but Lord Inceptron showed an almost supernatural ability to dodge his strikes, not even Zallinock with his augmentation could evade his blows so effortlessly. Running past the man in the metal suit, Fallen King picked up Durandal from the ground and threw it once more.

This time, perhaps out of a sense of curiosity (if he had any) Lord Inceptron brushed the ancient sword away with a swing from his own blade. Durandal was parried away like a pebble against a stone wall. Fallen King, seeing an opening, threw his energy Halberd directly into Inceptron at full power, the halberd struck into Inceptron's battle plate but it too bounced off. The halberd's energy field fizzled away as it made contact with the armor, in theory. the field projected by the Halberd could separate any atoms in its way but the arcane armor defied physics and stood firm. With a light 'ping', the Halberd fell to the ground like a twig.

"You are powerful, just what are you?" Fallen King stood back in a defensive stance, all of his attacks were deflected, "Swarm entity? Apocrean?"

I am an entity of one, I am cradle's everything and in the same time, I am absolutely nothing...

I am the will of this planet, I am the reason why it turns and why it is the way it is...

"But I thought the Gremlins where the ones who made this planet."

They were once my chosen people, Tinkinzar was my chosen architect. They were one of many civilizations who made Cradle what it is today, but they merely polished what was already there. Though from what you have witnessed, they weren't quite good at their duties...

Which is why I have now come to you, Fallen King, I want to elect you as the next architect...

"Architect?! Why me?"

I have waited for a mechanical mind that can endure the horrors of entropy as I once did, the Torchbellow Prophecy was implanted into the brains of professor Gerallax's ancestors, I have guided them to create sentient machines unlike no other... ones that can persist, even when all hope is lost...

"So, you groomed me to be your successor?"

You certainly fulfilled the prophecy that I have given, at least, out of the three candidates, you... fit the bill the most... once your will is synchronized with mine, your mind and thoughts will be that of Cradle's will. You can start a golden age of machinaut dominance, you can vanquish the Dracolisks with but an eye blink and the Swarm seeds could be kept at bay. This world could start anew, with you as its leader...

"No."

NO?

'You think after killing Zallinock, after hearing his delusions of grandeur of a Cradle reborn, that I would take such offer? I will never bind the will of the people of this world to mine." Fallen King said with his fists clenched, "Every part of me wanted to see my clan flourish once more, but I won't, not after I saw the hell brought forth by one man's delusion. His abominable acts had put Cradle in so much jeopardy that we even allied with our enemies, I say no more, I will not be the ruler of Cradle. I would rather die."

So... be... it... the cycle continues, watch as your world wither and fade...

Lord Inceptron faded away, his head swayed for the slightest of moment, betraying an inkling of disappointment. Soon Inceptron's essence disappeared from the city ruin, vanishing from Machinaut's visors as if he never existed. Fallen King picked up his weapons and made way back to the new settlement. His mind was made, he will not temper with the fate of Cradle, not after the freedom he just secured.

In the end, all will fade away, it is an undeniable fact, but that was the reason why the Fallen King fought. Only against the fading light could a warrior show his true mettle, his death should mark the end of a glorious saga. As he passes, he gave way to those who would come after and write down their own legacies. Such is the way of Cradle.

As for what is canon to Machinauts, I'm deciding to take the following approach:

-Anything part of Spiral Knights canon is official Machinauts canon, except where necessary for the premise and lore of Machinauts. (I'm not sure if the exception is necessary, but you never know what the next update may bring.)

-Anything I posted as part of the game is official Machinauts canon. This includes everyone's Machinauts, as well as all backstory content (excepting any contradictions with previously established canon, where it exists).

-Anything that is not official Machinauts canon is still canon in at least one alternate universe, unless it is part of some kind of illegal content (such as libel or plagiarism), is meant as any form of attack against a real-life person, or is part of a spat between two or more users of an internet message board. Yes, this means Inceptron is canon somewhere, and at some point I'm betting someone's going to have to fight him for the fate of the multiverse.

-Even official canon, like most if not all fiction, is open to interpretation.))

To the light of distant suns.

Wow, it’s been one hell of a ride. Been watching this for quite a while, even though I never took part. Kudos to everyone who did, and to Doc Spacebar for running the entire epic campaign.

See you all around.

Remember, don't shoot food.

Oh, this is over.

I feel like I should say something but I don't know. I never really got involved in this or read this, so I don't know why I feel so obligated. It's probably for the better I didn't join this because past me is awful at rps and by the time I got slightly less awful this whole thing was too intimidating and too far along for me to try.

Ignem's Epilogue

(It's time. Afterword post later, this is already pretty long.)

I couldn't help but wave goodbye to the Sleeper avatar that visited us. I felt as though I had the answers to everything I wanted to know, however. I was reminded of Locus's email. It crossed my mind I haven't seen what was essentially my family for a while.

{Perhaps I should pay the squad a visit back at the Refuge...}

So I chose to do that after informing the Adjutant of my intentions. Returning to the Refuge, I tried to keep a low profile as I felt more like just meeting the other LV units at the moment instead of partaking in the celebrations. I met my fellow Machinauts outside what used to be Dr. Argilo's house and laboratory. I knew there wouldn't have been much of it left after who knows how long, but I felt as though I wasn't prepared for the shock that came with it. The foundation was all that was really left intact - much of the structure had either been destroyed or crumbled away with time. Yet there was something nostalgic in the air...

"Welcome back, Ignem!" Locus cheerfully said. "How was it out there?"

"A mess. I'm fortunate I made it back in one piece. I just think it's a shame we never got to fight the Swarm together as designed, but sometimes things just don't go to plan." I said, to which Tenebris nodded and agreed.

"Ignem and her squad ended up having to save me." Tenebris said, calling back to our time when we defended the Almirian village from attack and took a detour to rescue him. "Felt kinda embarassing now that I think back on it, but I'm glad I made it out anyway!"

"Indeed. I was almost destroyed by the Swarm, but I survived. Felt like it was by a thread, though..." Tempus said, sharing his own experience.

"Makes both me and Ignem feel lucky. I escaped from what was like the gates of hell with the help of other Machinauts, while Ignem formed up with a squad of her own." Locus shared. I nodded.

"And together, we finally fulfilled the prophecy. That said, we didn't quite destroy the Swarm, nor the Apocrea." I said, adding the caveat we hadn't quite destroyed the darkness yet...

"At the least, you dealt a devastating blow to both of them, giving us time to prepare." Tempus said. "It does make me wonder when and where they will appear next."

"That's something I don't think any of us can calculate." I replied. "It's why I've decided I'll keep going. We ran into a fragment of the Sleeper who told us that the day we could destroy both was not at hand. That day...I don't know when it'll be. All I know is that I'll be going back to active duty soon, probably on standby for a while given the uncertainty about when they'll strike again."

"No matter what, we still have to fight. Cradle's survival depends on it." I said.

"Them's fighting words." Locus said.

And with those words, I departed. As I walked away, I overheard the others talking although they eventually got out of range for me to hear.

"I feel as though I'm not needed anymore. That's alright...there's always another path for me to take." Tenebris said. "I'll probably be retiring from the forces."

"Fair enough. I feel the same way, too." Tempus said. "Maybe I'll apply my knowledge and experience in training others for that possible day."

"Sounds like a plan." Tenebris said. "It does make me wonder what Locus is gonna do, although maybe..."

It made me think as well, especially as I went out of range before he could guess. Tenebris is retiring and Tempus is planning on becoming an instructor. What would Locus do?

I turned my attention back to the note I had received all the way back when I awoke. It became a keepsake of mine, something to keep for the ages, a memento from my long gone creator.
{Greetings. This is a pre-recorded message.

LV-909, the time has come. A dark force threatens the planet, and if left unchecked, may cause massive devastation on an unforeseen scale. Your mission is simple: find and destroy the dark force.

However, accomplishing it is anything but simple. Cradle is a dangerous planet, and peril could await you at any moment. Fortunately, you are not alone in your task. Several other Machinauts have been assigned the same mission. Seek them out if you must.

Good luck.}

Upon further listening, I heard what sounded like a coded message in the background. It sounded like someone was counting numbers in the background. I stringed them together and recognized it was pointing to a file in my filesystem I didn't know even existed. Upon opening it...

"I had a feeling this would not be heard by you until after you vanquished the darkness that befouls our planet." Dr. Argilo's pre-recorded message played. "Truth be told, I felt pessimistic it could be defeated at all. But I knew that was no reason to despair. There was always the possibility you could do it, and if you're listening to this, I have the suspicion you've already won. It is my regret we never got to meet at all, only heard by me. Yet it shows my resolve to try and finish what I started, to fling this light into the future, was not in vain."

I paused the recording and stopped walking for a second. In a way, it felt a bit sad. I was never really woken up and tested to see if I was functional before he was killed. I resumed and kept going.

"I can only hope you were not alone when the final blow was made, but that is remote. Together, you and the generation of Machinauts our clan created have corrected the Sleeper's greatest mistake and changed the future, possibly for the far better. Thank you." His final message concluded.

Well, I did you proud. But this fight's not over. Not by a long shot.

I went over and began to reflect everything afterwards. What a long and wild journey...from being awoken by Nalki & Nautilus and then shutting down a berserk Machinaut, to liberating the Refuge, to nearly getting killed by an all too real video game, to defending the Refuge against more rogue Machinauts and the Thargaan, to discovering Kaan's treason, to vanquishing the Apocrea that sought to subvert the Dracolisks, to defending the Almirian Village, to the trials we undertook to obtain the legendary weapons, to discovering the truth about Zallinock, and then finally the last battles we took to both stop him, and the Neofactorem that could've resulted in an apocalypse if we hadn't defended it from the Swarm and Apocrea.

And after all this, it still feels like I've just begun my work!

After again informing the Adjutant of my intents, I reached an elevator that would take me to the surface. I wasn't quite sure where I was going, but I knew I would get my orders soon enough. I was just about to input the request to ascend when I heard a voice.

"Waaaaaaait!" Locus shouted, running after me.

"Coming along too?" I asked. She boarded, and we started our ascent.

"Yeah. I thought 'bout it for a bit, and I felt like I missed out big time." Locus said. "But I don't feel like gettin hung up on that."

"Indeed. Best to think about what the future holds now." I replied. "And I feel...anxious about it."

"How so? What's troublin' you?"

"The Sleeper mentioned it might be a long time before we can finally destroy it for good. Our attempt destroyed their commanders and sent them packing, but what if they come back with more?" I mused.

"I've got your back." Locus said. "If and when they come knockin' again, we'll finish them for good."

Rays of sunlight beamed in as we arrived at the surface. The sun was rising on another day, a new beginning.

"We can do it together. Ready?"

"Yeah. I'm with you, partner. Let's go."

I nodded, and we headed off into the sunrise together.

THE END

(If only I could've done more with the LV series. And didn't try to develop character near the very end of the roleplay.)

((Status update: I kinda took a break from the stats for a while- probably because I just needed a break in general. But I've gotten started on them again; up to midway through Chapter 3. The stats won't be anything fancy- it'll mostly just be enemies defeated (as well as details like how many Sparks of Life the Farsor Numbers used) and total crowns- but it might be fun to look back and reminisce.

After that, I think I'll have my own afterword.))

Guess it wouldn't be Machinauts without a poorly-explained delay

((Oooooops.

Well, to explain what happened with the stats, I got hit with a lot of work all at once, and one thing led to another and now we're in July with no stats. Whoops.

I'll be able to get back to work on those stats this week, hopefully they'll be done by then. Sorry about that.

Fine work as always, Midnight.))

Holy carpets

Y'all kept this up for 6 years and completed the whole thing??? O-o

I'm floored Doc, simply shook

I decided to randomly check the forums and it's kinda bittersweet to see your dedication pay off! Remember when I said at the beginning that you'd need to have all this planned out and you said you did? HAH you DID alright!

I'm honestly curious as to what other projects you have in your future; it takes a very special determination to keeping a project going for so long with so much dedication

Major congrats!!
