Leo nodded his head in agreement, and acquired a room of his own. Before he left to it, he looked around at the place.
"You know, even when Haven fell, this place stayed the same. Its interesting how some things aren't affected by drastic events."
He crossed his arms and leaned against a near pillar, looking around at the various spookats and ghoulies.
*That might not be a good thing..* Armori thought at Leo's statement.
Armori got his own room, to his amusement, right next to the Dark Ritual Kat's summoning place. He needed the rest, so he just dove right into his bed, which surprisingly, was devoid of any Undead smell at all.
"See you in the morning fellas," he said, then drifted off to sleep.
Koutetsu got in bed. It was mostly purple, but was at least comfortable. At first Koutetsu struggled to sleep, but eventually fell into the depths of sleep, hoping to dream of food.
Koutetsu somehow found himself in a situation where he was talking with the Kat who always was trying to conjure up dark rituals. Their conversation was an odd one about the finer things in life. Like hats. Suddenly, the ritual circle started to glow. The kat looked at it with eagerness, while Koutetsu took a step back in nervousness. A large flash came from the circle, temporarily blinding them both, and when the light faded a little, Koutetsu could see a humanoid figure. It moved quickly before he could react, and it seemingly stabbed him with a pair of claws once.
Koutetsu woke up sweating buckets, and checked around the room frantically to see if anything was there.
Armori couldn't sleep for more than three hours at a time. It was a survivalist thing. So he spent the rest of the night using his Almirian metal to touch up the metal parts of his armor, and make new bayonets.
He trimmed his vests and reinforced the material, and when he was finished with his armor he looked brand new.
He spent two hours sharpening his new bayonets, the sound of metal on metal slightly carrying through the manor. Once he was finished, he sighed contentedly and went back to sleep.
He dreamt of using Dicemaker's dice to blow up Koutetsu's monster, which took the form of a black, writhing mass. After that, he stabbed down snipe after snipe with Koutetsu's katana.
It was a good night.
Koutetsu rushed out of bed, grabbed his scabbard, put it on his belt, got his bag, and exited the room. He went to the main lobby and and waited for the others. Koutetsu looked at his hand, and it had healed. He felt energetic again with his blood back in place.

I'm planning another incident, but before I carry it out, I will need blanket authorization to power-play one player character for one incident. Be forewarned that any injuries incurred may or may not be permanent. No death will ensue from the incident. May I have everyone's permission?
Koutetsu found Armori in the lobby, eating roast Wolver steaks. Armori nodded informally to him as a way of greeting.
"Always thought Leo would get up last," he said.
"How'd you sleep?" he continued.
((Yea, sure Thin))
Leo poked his head out of his bunk and joined Koutetsu and Armori in the lobby, upon approaching, he heard Armori's comment.
"A man's gotta get some sleep, especially if he can get a lot."
He eyed the steaks and walked closer,
"You sharing?"

Koutetsu sat down next to Armori, and held back his wanting to drool over the steak. "Had a nightmare, but I expected that. My hand healed and I feel some blood coming back, so that's good. Any of you have a good dream last night?"
((Sure, but Id prefer no permanent damage. I enjoy my head, shoulder, knees and toes. Knees and toes.))
Armori looked at Leo, laughed silently, and said an emphatic
"Good Morning."
Armori passed two roast Wolver steaks to each of them, and had three for himself.
"Well, I refurbished my armor, and made new bayonets, so I had a good ass night, even my dreams, though they were odd.. How bout you Leo?" Armori said.
It had been a while since Armori had been in this type of companionable situation. It was taking the edge off his personality a little.
Koutetsu quickly brushed his empty scabbard before taking the steaks. The way he ate them made him look like what he was eating. He hasn't had anything this good in ages. He muffled out a thank you while eating.
Leo shook his head, "I don't have dreams, never have."
He took a seat and started munching on his meaty breakfast. Muttering thanks in between bites.
"I should make some new Bolts, maybe I can 'borrow some of the wood here, I've got some tips I can use as well as fetching, all I need is something good to craft a shaft, maybe the Merchants have some Ironwood I can stea- I mean use."
Armori raised an eyebrow,
"Well, sometimes it's better not to dream," he contemplated.
He took a few more bites of his Wolver.
"I already stole a few logs, two when we just got here, two when you took your steaks from me," Armori said smugly.
He laid them out in a self-satisfied manner, and said,
"Take your pick. They're memory's so bad from being Undead so long, they mix everything up. I could tell them I paid for it and they'd believe. Just don't do nothing in front of them. Especially the floating heads. Gotta be quick on your feet to get out of the situation then. You know what? Let me go rob them some more."
Armori approached the Kat clerk and had a short conversation, in which the Kat seemed to be bowing his head repeatedly, and gave him a large bag of Crowns, all silver and gold.
"He just thanked me for getting rid of the Lichens in the burners," Armori smirked to Leo and Koutetsu.
((I finally got to do a "burglar" bit with him! Yay!))
While Koutetsu disapproved, he was too busy obliterating his steak to object. "So, if you two haven't noticed, I've lost my katana. Again. This time there isn't a pond to find it in. Anyone have any spare weapons?"
"Your asking people on the constant move for spare weapons? You should know better," Armori reprimanded.
"Now you don't have the zing to use bayonets, so that's out of the question. I won't give you my sword either. That's important to me. Ok, so I have Ironwood, which you could make into a badass staff, or spear, or mace. Or a shaft for a flail, if you you have the metal. Well I could get the metal, we'll buy it from them," Armori said with a smirk, jingling the manor's money.
"There is the possibilty that the Dark Kat or the Floating Heads have weapons. They find some weird shit from time to time too," Armori added, eating a Wolver steak that seemed to materialize from nowhere.
Koutetsu sighed. "Any way I can get something katana like? Flailing around isn't really my thing.". He said, finishing his last steak.
"Why you so picky? You have any damn idea how rare swords like katanas are?" Armori asked.
"Back when Almire was up and running, a Katana would've cost almost this whole bag of gold," he muttered, and stalked through the passageways.
He came back, and apparently had not went to look for something katana-like at all, instead telling Koutetsu,
"Go ask the heads."
Koutetsu sighed again. "Sorry for having a preference.". He said, as he got up. "Ill ask, I guess.". He finished. He walked over to the heads and asked, "Hey, do you have any swords??
The heads looked at Koutetsu and laughed, giggling to themselves as if they were schoolgirls.
Amori shouted,
"They like etiquette!"
Koutetsu turned his had to Armori, and back to the heads. Etiquette? Something he didn't need in a while. Time to use it, he guessed. Koutetsu took a deep bow, and humbly said, "I'm sorry about my former greetings, sirs. I was recently disarmed in a fight, and lost my weapon. Do you have any blade like weapons?". He said, trying to say in the most respectful way possible.
The heads turned to each other, then back to Koutetsu. They summoned three blade-like weapons:
1. A Rapier
2. A Sabre
3. A Longsword
Armori walked over to Koutetsu.
"Yup, katanas are pretty rare now," he said again.
Koutetsu grabbed the hilt of the sabre, and twirled it a little, trying out its weight. It would take some getting used to, but it would work. "Do you want anything in return for it, sirs?" He asked kindly.
Armori covered this end, taking out two Gold Crowns from his bag.
"Keep the change," he said, then burst out laughing.
When the two got back to Leo, he asked,
"So what do we do now? We got to Moorcroft after all."
An ugly howl went up from the depths, followed by a piercing feminine shriek. Lightweight footsteps pounder closer and closer to our heroes until a young, dark-skinned woman raced into view. Her braided white hair whipped over her leather-clad back, which supported a quiver of strangely-ethereal arrows. She fired off a few shots from her bow as she fled, striking nothing, but reaching the camp safely regardless.
She bore a striking resemblance to the fictional dark elves, though logic necessitated the falsehood of such an idea.
Armori arguably had heard the girl's shriek before she let it out.
She was dark-skinned, and Armori tried not to smile at this. Bad things usually happened to girls in his proximity. She hadn't even reached it yet and look at her situation. Moving on. As she ran, her white hair flipped over to her back, revealing some weird looking arrows. So, naturally, she used a bow. Wait what?
White hair.
What was she a bloody elf? Sure, that probably wasn't it, but come on. The bow and arrows weren't helping either. She might as well have branded "Ms. Legolas" on her back.
After poorly firing a few bows at whatever, she reached the camp. By now, Armori had settled down at the prospect of a new person. So she got the usual new person treatment.
"What the hell were you running from?" he asked, drawing his sword.
Leo took the logs and unsheathed his blade, while the others talked he chipped away at the wood, crafting the wood into a straight shaft.
He reached into his sack and pulled out his spare arrowheads. He fitted them onto the shafts and turned to the fetching. They were different from the regular arrow fetching, more straight and smaller.
Finished, he added the extra four to his quiver, making nine.
The others came back, and he shrugged at Armori's response.
"I don't know it seems..."
He trailed off at the howl, following it, the arrival of a bow wielding person fleeing from said howl. After wasting an arrow or two, said arrows looking interestingly holographic, she reached them without much difficulty.
"Safe.."
His crossbow was in his hands, aiming towards where the girl had come from,
"Hello miss, doing well?"
He said, with an underlying 'welcome'.
"I was about to ask what we were going to do now." Koutetsu asked, but Armori didn't have time to answer.
A white haired, dark-skinned hair ran up to the party while firing arrows at nothing.
"Is everything alright ma'am?" Koutetsu asked, the sabre he just got still in hand.
Armori looked at the girl again. Given what he'd seen of her aim, it was obvious that grief must've worked its way into her and took root. He looked at Koutetsu and Leo and asked,
"You think we should check it out?"
"I guess, as long as whatever it is doesn't take my sword again.". Koutetsu said, slowly moving towards the fired arrows.
Armori laughed a little unnecessarily at Koutetsu's comment.
"Come to think of it, we're sure to see the monster if you're coming," Armori said with mirth. At that statement, however he may have been laughing, he drew his sword nonetheless.
"I think the sound came from the elevator," Armori said, and headed in that direction.
"Yeah, the elevator's a good place to start."
Leo lowered his crossbow and followed Armori. Wondering what would happen this time.
The elevator was slightly bent, not enough to destroy it, but considering the strength of the metal, it was concerning. But, it could have been the impact from the creature that messed with the elevator when the group was in it the previous night. Or from the elevator itself crashing down to this depth at its new speed. It cannot be said for sure what caused the elevator shaft to be slightly bent.
Looking down into the dark depths of the elevator, you see no movement, only black. The echoes of a frustrated and angry howl or roar reverberated in the shaft, a more chilling effect added to it with the echoes of it reaching the group.

Armori whistled.
((EDIT: @Archemiday: I don't have anything to constitute another reply, but your post right after this has me rolling. Plus, if I edit it will keep this at the top of the Forum list, right? So this is a bump. Oh and also, I have no idea what happens to the arrows. They are made of energy, right? So I guess they'd dissipate or something?))
"I'm not going down there." Was the first words out of his mouth. The second were, "I'm going to go observe the arrows she fired." He walked over and picked up an arrow she had fired. He saw the tip, and touched it.
((Sorry about my failure to reply. Work is taking up all my time these days. It's not going to get any better this week; I have mandatory overtime hours. >.< ))
Upon reaching their camp, the girl took cover behind a rock and immediately dropped her back onto it to rest, weary from her narrow escape and panting heavily. Questions from the other nearby knights bombarded her, but she felt in no shape to answer them.
She began to recover her strength once the knights started looking for a working elevator. And one knight was foolish enough to touch the tip of her arrow. The knight would find that his finger bled upon lightly touching the arrowhead. The girl turned her head a little and glanced at him.
"Careful. Sharp," she whispered.
Koutetsu winced in pain and shook his hand. He had meant to touch the head to see what the odd effect on it was, but ended up missing a little and making himself bleed. "And I thought I wouldn't bleed today.". He mumbled, before picking up the other few arrows she fired and handed them back to her. Koutetsu being curious, but also seeing her exhaustion, lightly asked, "You got a name?"
((I meant to say head, but I'll roll with Koutetsu making a humorous mistake. Take your time Thin. Your life and job > the RP.))
The girl bumped her head to the rock and closed her eyes again. "It's Vera. Nice to...to meet you." She lazily took his hand and shook it a little. "Yours?"
"Koutetsu is my name. I wont bother you any more questions right now. I know the exhausted and scared feeling all too well.". Koutetsu took a seat and crossed his legs.
Leo turned and walked back to where Koutetsu was, and leaned against a tree with his crossbow held loosely in his hands.
"Getting to know the new knight? Find what's brought her here yet?"
((With Thin having to deal with his job, and us having no seeable story arcs, do you think it would be best to stop the rp?))
"Not yet. She looks exhausted, so I'd figure we let her red."
PLZ DON'T STOP THE RP! I read the entire thing and it. Is. Awesome! Well, no one has posted in the last.... 2 months, so I don't know if this is urm... polite? To break the silence like this :/ . The RP has been really good, so if you aren't too busy, could you keep the good work going?
Koutetsu chuckled weakly. "I'd much rather have nightmares about the monster and get some rest and blood back rather than see the monster and lose some blood. I'll see you all in the morning?" Koutetsu said, walking to the clerks desk. He asked for a room and received. He got the key and headed to his room.
