When did you begin playing Spiral Knights?
I started somewhere in September in 2012 when I saw my brother playing and it looked interesting so I wanted to try it out. So I did but took about a year break in 2014 and came back Christmas 2015 and never stopped playing ever since!

How frequently do you like playing the game?
I play Spiral Knights everyday as much as I can to spend time with friends and help people I don't know. I also farm vana a lot and donate when I believe the guild is low on money, but it usually never is.

Tell us a bit about yourself as a person.
I'm a 14 year old girl and always interested in trying something new. I have 6 cats and love whales, the color of the sunset and ocean blue. I can be extremely weird but usually only to make people laugh or be happy and its just who I am. ^.^

I was orginally born in Puerto Rico. But a couple weeks after I was born, my mom and dad came to America to start a new life with each other and I guess me and my brothers. xP

I want to join this guild because you guys have events that, as far as I know, no other guild has, and I would love to be a part of it. Plus, you guys seem like so much fun from the pictures and especially skillful with killing monsters and bosses under a minute. I want to try and do that one day :P

I believe I can offer assistance with anything, including donations, maybe I can help come up with new ideas because im always interested in helping and trying something new especially with new players to the game and/or guild.

Often when meeting a new person I'll tend to give short answers to their questions. It may come off as rude but in reality I'm just sort of a shy, awkward person. Give me enough time and I'll break out of my shell for sure.

I'm also a bit childish at times, but can be gravely serious when the situation calls for it.

A lot of other guilds seem inactive or have mandatory donations for joining (being a part of a guild should be a rewarding experience, not an opportunity to line someone else's pocket). What with all the reserves listed in the description, this guild seems like it emphasizes on teamwork and comradery. THAT is what I look for in a community

We offer many things. But what do you as a player think you can contribute to help our community?

I'm mostly busy trying to get better gear in SK (who isn't, right?) but when I'm not grinding for orbs or crowns I enjoy helping out new players with difficult missions or tagging along for boss raid. I can't offer much in terms of advice on equipment, but I like joining a party when they need an extra sword and shield.

I started playing SK before Mist energy was removed and maybe before icons displayed an image of the item, but I don't remember when I stopped playing. Currently, I'm on a semi new character and my old one still exists.

How frequently do you like playing the game? Because we sure do!
I play SK whenever my internet isn't horrible or when I have finished my schoolwork. So maybe 4-5 hrs or more a week?

Your guild seemed like it was active and full of players who go online regularly, the guild has an international community which means every time I play I wont be farming Orbs of alchemy alone (cries). The community is striving and the strict rules help keep the more toxic and disrespectful players away.

I first played SK before they got rid of mist energy. I stopped after it became difficult to play without spending money, but started again a few months ago. Now, I'm on 4-6 times a week usually. I'm from the US and would say that I'm a generally laid back, observant person. I spend a lot of my free time playing poker.

The idea of having a community within the game is very appealing. I've joined a few guilds but none of them are focused on guild development. I'm very focused on the economics of the game so having a large community means more opportunities to develop and give back. Additionally, your ranking and recipe systems are super appealing because they require you to establish a relationship with the guild, which is something that I definitely want. I only really play PvE, so I like that its your main focus because my past guilds mainly want to do PvPs. Also I like that you allow players of all skill levels. Since I've been playing for a while, my gear is decent but my actual skills are not. I've seen some of your vids and it seems like I'd have opportunities to learn a great deal. I also play overwatch (on Xbox) and like the idea of having people to play competitively with.

Like I said I'm very economically focused, which means I'm always looking for ways to conserve and/or make the most profit in the least amount of time. That being said, it leaves me with much unused mats, crowns, and gear that I don't want. However, I don't want to just give it to random people, so having a strong community to give back to makes me feel like I'm not just wasting my stuff on inactive players.

I started playing Spiral Knights in 2014, I have about 350 hours on the game now.
I probably play for about a month off and on, hoping to get back into the game and play for awhile now, though. I've never really been a part of an active guild and I think that will make the experience a lot better.

I've joined probably 5 guilds in the entire time I've been playing the game. Most of them have all been guilds with few people playing, and they all just slowly disappeared. 3. Usually I play on friday and weekends and holidays. Though if I stopped playing spiral knights when I'm into other games then I might visit the game for about once a month.
4. I'm 17 now. I consider myself an honest person and I do like to help people when I can. My favorite color is amber. In the game my rank is Vanguard with sword/gun hybrid playstyle.

6. Long story short, I want to join a PvE guild and I read that you also let the members to join shadow lair as well.
The long story one is I came back to the game and most of my friends in-game are inactive now and my previous guild is still inactive. So I don't have that much people to join mission with anymore. The public party is still there to join but some missions usually won't be available to me like RJP and OCH. I think that if I join a certain guild I would have more chance to join a party. And more chance to do more variety of missions.
So I searched the forum and I think Retribution Council is the one I like to join. Because your guild is more based at PvE. PvP, for me, is only for fun and tokens so I decided not to join a guild that is more about PvP. Your guild doesn't force donation too which is something nice.
I never get to join all of the 4 shadow lairs before. So I'm also interested in weekly shadow lairs. And even if I got everything I need from shadow lairs. I do like the other service this guild offer and I wish to be able to help others in the guild.
7. I can help with helping others in missions or join an arcade run. I can try helping newbies with some tips I know and I can share materials or help then craft certain items. I can also help getting recipes while I'm doing arcade too. My native language is thai so if you have problem communicating with thai people I will try my best to help.

Well, this question is always difficult. I tend to let others speak about my character, since I cannot do so myself. But if I had to try, then I'd say I am a pretty serious individual, but I also have a light - hearted side as well. I can be quite humorous, and a good listener, if the need arises. Well, after reading about your guild, I have noticed that this guild takes care of its members. Heck, even in this very page people say this guild is superbly friendly! Also, I like that the guild's focus is PvE. And the final reason is a personal one. In any MMO, one of the things I look for, aside from gameplay, is communication. I like talking with other people online, even making friends through the game. And for that, I believe, this guild would be perfect for me.

What do you think makes us different?] The introduction had me sold and instantly connected with me because it's what I've been feeling and thinking for a long time now. Having a full guild with a high level of activity since its creation is no easy task, so it's clear and apparent that you guys have put in the work and there's no shortcuts in hard work (although if you do find any contact me immediately), but seriously, as previously mentioned, many guilds make an effort to maintain the facade that they are a cut above the rest, which only serves to mislead and waste peoples time.

1.) Providing help for others (within reasonable standards) is a staple of my philosophy. From a very young age I would make an effort to help other people in real life because I didnt intellectually understand the impact fo my actions but I knew at some level it would help in putting a smile on their face!
2.) I am known as the deep thinker (and the overthinker for that matter) in my immediate circle of family and friends so you'll occasionally hear me drop some profound knowledge but that is simply a phenomenon that I have witnessed people ascribing to me, so it might be more of a statement about them than me (which sounds about right).
3.) When you take away all the best gear, all the flashy accessories and all the leaderboards, the only thing that's left is a simple love/passion for the game, fond memories of days passed and a rich, saucy history that should begin to turn a golden brown when ready.

I am a introvert, I enjoy organization, process, aesthetics, a small portion of basic mathematics, as well as thinking philosophically and practically. I can get a little irritated by others short comings, but in light of this guild that shouldn't be an issue. Although my two years experience pales in comparison to others who've played this game much longer, I've experienced many guilds that in the end die due to the inactivity of its members. There are more reasons that caused the inactivity in those guilds that the Council of Retribution clearly does not reflect. The Council of Retribution as stated is a very active long lived guild dedicated to its members and the prolonging of friendship and activity. I do not want this to come off as simple praise, the Council of Retribution genuinely gives an effort to attain the good of all the members in its community. This is what makes this guild vastly different from others, the effort it gives, not just the effort it gives but the loyalty it demands which can only result in an excellent guild.

I can only assume that i'll be a novice compared to everyone else in the guild, I am a vanguard who can at least solo vana on elite without using a single spark most of the time. As I am growing in strength I can only offer my assistance in basic missions. I can console, give words of affirmation as well as offer anyone my friendship/advice. I really like this game, but I often find it difficult to find other people to play it with as it's significantly more fun with pals - there isn't much better than a friendly 4 person party to run the clockwork with. This guild seems like it's home to many other people that think similarly and I hope to be able to meet many others that I can have a fun time with on any weekend while playing Spiral Knights. You guys also seem very organized and very helpful towards other players. This sounds like a very well established guild!
