I thought I'd take a more.. and I mean very realistic approach. I love the Snarbolax too.
2 hours and I got a messy sketch, a messy background, a head, and a horrible headache. e_e it's so horrible oh god.

Marqui: Find a way to get rid
Marqui: Find a way to get rid of the pure black background. It tends to flatten everything inside of it. A real background would liven things up, give you more options, and just be more interesting in general. Other than that, I like the direction its going. Very nice tribal feel to it. :-)
Anyhow, here's another preview of mine. There are a few changes I'm considering and still need to clean up a few areas. It's been a lot of fun to work on and make interpretations. I should do this sort of thing more often.
