Hey knights, is the suggestions sections (regularly) looked at, or is it simply obsolete?
From what I know the Snarbolax set came from a suggestion made by a knight named Dark-Nub in 2011. So the question to be asked now is: has there been any other additions to the game, based on any suggestions made, since then?
The guild hall revamp was made through a suggestion (that got over 100 posts on it). The Overcharged Mixmaster could have also been developed through suggestions that involved a boomerang function to a gun.
That's sort of disappointing. Oh well, it seem that they've got their hands busy anyway. So if one did have a suggestion, the only option would be send it there where it would sink to the graveyard.
I find it strange how that works. I mean, gems like this Dusk/Night have been made quite a lot and received more attention but they didn't receive a word.
I've got a working project here if you're interested. Not all implementations have references as I've put a lot of things on that I heard were suggested, but have yet to find the actual suggestion for.
Thank you Hexzyle! So basically, they do look but the chances of it being implemented are quite low unless it is highly demanded.
I also came across this thread of yours and honestly some, if not most, of the suggestions in here would seem like great additions. It's too bad they don't show signs of consideration.
Yeah, I believe that was my last thread before I left the Suggestions Subforum. The flow of updates has slowed far too much for me to care and discuss what's suggested anymore. Plus, once you've been there long enough, you get to a point where you've read and discussed every new suggestion, and nothing interesting comes along anymore.
A bit of feedback once in a while might be nice for the suggestions.

someone has to be more careful about where they store their ash of agni, those things are unstable as hell.
You can add Dash and Bash to that list.

"• A new type of item: Dash Packs. Allows a short, rocket propelled, forward dash. Only available to Gremlins. Have the disadvantage of occupying the shield slot, leaving the user defenseless. Stuns any enemies the player collides with, and provides the possibility of a dash attack if a carefully timed attack is properly executed at the end of the dash. Charges like a shield.
• Can be knocked back and bowled over by strong attacks, requiring them to stand back up. This takes a moment, and leaves them briefly helpless."
23 days after Rogdon makes that suggestion post, Dash and Bash is announced.
Dash and Bash may have come from some other source... but I doubt it. ("...no ETA for these features" from announcement post, and the striking similarity of the suggestion to the final product)
I somewhat find this extremely disappointing. I mean, I can guarantee that if I go and make a thread in the Suggestions section with an abundance of inappropriate language, swear words and was completely off topic ranting about something absolutely no-one gave a flying Trojan poop about, I would get banned from the Forums section. I know this because moderators do actually check the threads made so why don't they leave a simple reply. I'm sure people would appreciate encouraging words like "Looks great!" or "Awesome idea!" even if they aren't the ones who implement the stuff.
Honestly, simple suggestions like the eyes made by Fehzor were small and very likable. If someone did not like it then they simply wouldn't buy it. Some of them even could have even been made into a starter option but no. And here I was planning on joining the Suggestions section in the summer (I hopefully may still be) as a way not only to improve my mediocre drawing skills, but also a way to 'help' the game.
By the way, the corrupted and bored eyes (but I think the resemblance with sleepy eyes is too much for it to be added) were my favourite. I think it would've been cool if the actually had a glitched animation with them too where the outwards-sprouting lines grow longer or shorter... like a glitch.
TL;DR: Ultoros is mad the suggestion thread is ignored. Ultoros also likes Fehzor's eyes.

Well, it can't be guaranteed but let's just say that there's a little Spark of hope of so don't loose faith...
I am completely satisfied with myself.
Pets have been suggested since the dawn of Spiral Knights, and have now been implemented as Sprites.
That's the only one I can think of off the top of my head.
