I was pretty hyped when I first started playing Spiral Knights, but seeing that this game is almost dying, I'd like make a suggestion to expand its game mechanism
1. Add side-quests to play.
Although the missions may be over but lets not end the fun there.
These side-quests will give you crowns, tokens, accesories, guns, shields, swords and even armor sets depending on the difficulty you choose.
I was tired and bored for farming at the same places in Arcade. So these side-quests might give it a little kick to the game.
For example:-
Defeat Snarbolax at Solo-play
2. What if Spiral Knights had Dual-Wielding?
Imagine, instead of holding a shield on the other hand, why not hold a gun or another sword?
We could make a combo out of it instead of repeatedly pressing the Left Mouse Button/Right Mouse Button for the same sword technique.
3. Sword Skills
Why not change the Charged Attacks to Sword Skills based on the weapons attribute?
Like, your sword deals shadow damage so the Sword Skill would be like realeasing a dark wave.
But the Sword Skills deals only a portion of the sword's full damage in order not to make it Overpowered.
These are my suggestions to put in SK. I'd like to hear yours
