Giving Back to the Community

The reason to give me the CE is simple, so that I can give back to this community. At this point in the game I am an established player, I know how the CE market works and functions, I know the problems of the new and old players, and one of the biggest seems to be CE hoarding or "investing" this drives up the price of CE making new players feel hopeless and stop playing eventualy unless they are in a position to buy CE which many kids, the ones sad about CE prices, are not. However when one decides to start selling CE a little lower, people undercut them to sell theirs quicker, but when one sells CE lower then them self it can be used to lower the cost of CE by enough so that it is reasonable for people who cant afford this game still make profit by doing the clockworks without a looping team, since I dont have much left to do in this game I feel this would be a fun oppertunity to give back to the comunity and hopefully put a smile on a few kids' face. You could do this yourself, no doubt. But will you? If not, let me do it for you.

To be honest im gonna keep most of the CE myself . I hate seeing all my freinds get all five star stuff while I'm stuck with crummy three star. Unlike most of u i don't have the freedom to buy CE with real muney and I get to play only twice a week. Please give me the CE . Do it for the children. And my love for this game is too great to explain with the vocabulary I am currently aware of.

Why I should win.

I have been playing Spiral Knights for a few months now and havent logged in just to get an achievement that would unlock a hat for Team Fortress 2. I have a little over 37,000 CE and figured i might as well get some more since i will always use a flood of it.

I will gladly take 10,000 CE from the OP for posting the best paragraph or two on why they deserve the CE and why they love spiral knights.

But you've fallen out of love with SK. What you didn't realise was that as your Mech batteries powered down a force was growing from the residual polarity. Jygantic was born! I came, I stomped, I conquered. I had my delver acheivement within a month. Nothing, your hear me, NOTHING, is going to stop me. This game is me and I am this game - it's not about love, it's about cold iron vanquishers and ruining zombie resurrection by stealing their totems. THEY'RE MY TOTEMS NOW! Vana held me back for a while but with the help of some of the bravest warriors I have ever met he was no match for us. It took alot of guts, determination and CE. I will need that again to go further. To probe the depths of Candlelight keep and come back a hero. Scathed, bruised and scarred, I will be triumphant! Lend me your arms, lend me your ears but most of all let me craft the most formidable weapon to wreak havoc on those kats until the gremlins below hear their pitiful cries of death and shudder. I will protect haven! I will scour the planet until there isn't a greaver left. That's right - I will take on greavers, I will take on zombies, hordes of them, kats, puppies, slimes and even you if you decide to try and hurt my fellow knights or the good people of Haven. 10K Ce won't bring back the skylark but it will help me to reign an almighty terror on the evils that dwell in the clockworks. I belive i "deserve" the CE because it will alow me to continue helping the newbies in my guild.i spend alot of energy on helping others get gear or recipes that they need.with the CE i could do much more for my guild then i can with the energy i get with crowns.i must admit however,i would even settle for 1k energy.

I might as well give this a shot...

Last night my friend and I had a fight. A huge fight. He's very angry at me and he's threatening to never talk to me again if I don't make it up to him. He wants, of all things, 25 CE, saying he doesn't expect anything more from me. I'd like to really make it up to him by winning this contest and giving him most of the CE.

If I don't win I'd buy him some CE. But I can only afford about 750... this would mean so much more.

This is my list of all the reasons I do not deserve the CE!
I'll probably spend it on some armor or something.
Royal Jelly Runs, tons and tons of them.
I'll sell it for ludicrous prices, probably toppling the games economy.
I'll res people with it.
The number will be too high, and will probably freak me out.
I'll give it to people in Haven.
I'll form a guild called The League of Sparta
I'll leave the guild
I'll res everyone who ever dies with that guild tag
I'll sell it to people for armor
I'll sell the armor to the people to get it back
I'll rub it in people's faces
I'll rub it in MY face
I'll buy more energy, and horde it

Lol, but in all seriousness. That was just for a change of pace! I like Spiral Knights, the armor is neat, the people are neat, the CE prices aren't bad! I probably deserve it as much as my neighbor does, and they don't play. Heck, I can't even promise it'll go to a good use! Atleast though, I'll be honest with you about it. I'd spend all of it on gear, and be the proudest Vog Suit owner within five feet of you. Those other 42+ wont be nearly as proud as me! I'll guarantee that! Of course I deserve it, my name starts with a K! That just spells deserve (in a sense?)! If I get it, I will make it my sworn duty to solo Vanaduke in proto gear, and take my rightful place as Chuck Norris 2.0! That is my beautiful paragraph. Now shower me in CE and crowns! :D Praise Sparta!

Finally A HONEST PERSON. I dont need a whole story on my life, im just going to tell you straight. Id really appreciate that CE and i would use it till your hearts content. i hope i receive this since my age of 13 shows low level to those who are older, i do get hated but this could do me a MASSIVE favour. I Ask of you sincerely. Please can you think about me and please consider giving me the CE. My Apologies for the annoying request but i really do want it.

I would squander it recklessly...

I don't deserve it because I would squander it recklessly on crafting new shiny things for me or crafting things to sell. Maybe I'd sell some to buy stuff from Basil or the AH and I might just open energy gates or start up mecha-knights just for lulz.

As it's 2 months since the thread started and the OP had given up then, I suspect that the prizes have either already gone or the OP has forgotten about this or it may have been a succesful trolling post. If my suspicions are wrong, let's hear who won and why.

I would LIKE 10k CE, but I don't really DESERVE it, so unless you give points for honesty, I'm not gonna bother to try, cuz I'll just end up being one those hilarious interviewees.

Once you've given away the 30k, you should trade the rest for tf2 items (just remember to use a trustworthy middleman!).

I want to write a paragraph but I dont want the ce for myself!

I really think you should give it to this person I know, Crimson-Albedo. Dont know if you heard of him, but he is a great guy.

He uses all his effort in the game to help other players.
And I dont mean giving 1 or 2 free scrap metal or gel drops. He is giving out for free literaly everything he's got to help others! Crowns, ce, recipes, uved items, you name it!
Imagine that he has been playing this game for really long time and is a very good player too, but he wouldnt even gotten 5* equips if some of his friends haven't insisted and donated him to do so!
Whatever he got he spent on others.
And thats what he will do if he gets the ce! He wont spend it on punch-rolling, getting fancy uved items, or flashy heart-pendants.
He will just use it to help tons of players, with numerous ways.

Ive always said that what goes around, comes around, so this guy really, really deserves that ce if you take my theory under consideration! =D

He was an elite member of Order of Cross (a guild that was made to help other players, and sadly, recently got disbanded). Now, since Order of Cross seize to exist, he started a new guild White Lotus Society, continuing with the same cause, just to help others with everyway he can.

So I really think this guy would be the wisest choice to get this amount of ce.

As for the reason he loves SK, I dont think I can honestly answer that (since im not him! lol) but I guess showing that kindness and generosity can happen in a random mmo is one of them.
He surely showed me down to that path, and gave me something like a higher cause for the game, appart of having fun playing it!

ps This is not some kind of scam (cause im sure people will pop up saying it is!).
My IGN is Psilengos and his is Crimson-Albedo! We have common friends that can verify we are different people! haha

Anyways, thats my 2 cents on the topic. Just want to add that its a really great thing what you are doing. (Not trying to be a kiss-a$$, I honestly believe that!)

Saw the thread, so I wanted to post. Good luck to everyone!

The only reason I would deserve the CE is that I enjoy playing the game, but it's hard to do so with little Energy. Not just for myself either, but for me and my 2 friends that go on Clockworks runs who would receive a third of the energy. Unfortunately, while we realize paying real money isn't that expensive, all of us have a better place to spend it, so we're stuck with in game stuff only. We don't complain because it's free, but having the ability to do more would be a nice luxury to say. It's not even to progress anymore, it's just that doing things like trying new weapons and armors have such a steep entry price that we're unable to explore the game as much as we'd like to. I've known these guys for 8 years online, and this is the one game we play together, so we do what we can. That's why I like this game, because finally getting to play a game we all have interest in together after so long really feels like I know them in real life. Having extra CE is nice, so for each of us to get some, it would allow us to try new equipment and give us more reasons to keep playing together. For me at least, it's just about playing with them, and having the capability of doing more things with them.

I like this thread already.

Not for the CE giveaway, mind you. I like how people come together to say what they liked about the game.

It's a refreshing thread, away from the hubbub of whines and CE threads.

I'm not going to put it my IGN so others can win... if they still CAN haha... I have enough CE as it is for the last things I need before I splash into different armors and shields to cover whatever damage type, which I am not in a hurry to get.

What I like about this game:
1. A unique economy created by the CE to crowns system.
2. $$$ to CE system does away with the problem of third party "gold sellers". (for now)
3. Action MMORPG system reminiscent of Zelda. There are few good Action MMORPG's to date(, and DCUO is not one of them.)
4. No levels and leveling up in the traditional fashion! Just equipment.
5. Status effects work on enemies! And better yet, they work CONSISTENTLY!
6. Unique gate construction system.

I think I would be one of the best candidates for the CE as I have been very active in Spiral Knights since October of last year. My IGN is Chris and I am the Guild Master of Knightmare. I'm always helping out new guildmates and people who don't have means to buy CE for themselves. I have played almost every major MMORPG for years and when I found Spiral Knights I knew it would be the one I play forever... It's got a great community, a great dev team, it's not too time consuming, and it's not too easy. The average shelf life on a Spiral Knights player is very short, as many people move on to other games when they get bored. When I Get bored of killing bosses/running the clockworks I host events such as Trivia Challenges, Lotteries and other random fun games. I also host tons of youtube events and make many video tutorials for newer players. I have invested a ton of my time and money into this game VIA a guild website, the Spiral Knights wiki, a Ventrilo server and all my random CE/crown lottery/giveaways. The CE would definately not go to waste if given to me because I'm always helping out other players and I have been active for almost a year (you know i'm not going to quit).

Hopefully you are having a great time doing whatever took the place of Spiral Knights in your life.
