I see this story is going really well, my respects.
I see people is enjoying it, that's something I like (enjoyment).
I got kind of lost in this part.. where did they landed? Did they land???
I'm amazed when characters get separated... the not-knowing what happened to them and what will happens is one of the best things for stories (drama). Also the introduction of new characters is always well taken.
I have some questions about this story (like what happened to this and what is making blah, things like that).
Really cool story Necro, I hope it goes farther and like Cyberfire said.. to much focus on Necro... but well, you can start with one person story, then other character until their stories cross or get related.
(I might like to apply for a character... I wonder what I might be)

I will recommend you to made up characters since you will be prob the only person that could anticipate the character's way of being.
Give some diversity for the ratio of characters... (women - male) (good - bad) think about what do you want them to do and what will happen to them (example, think in a scene of the future "character (a) goes to (place) and for that character (b) follows (a) and then (b) dies because they found (enemy) and then (blah)" think in the future... then made up the story to get there.
(Is just an idea, like an advice)
I also writte stories for entertainament. I won't say I'm a pro, prob not even close.. but the drama and stuff I put in is good (people says)

other stuffz- a little backstory: Kesler used to be part of a group of mercenaries, all of whom he has lost contact with long ago. His right arm was blown off by a bomb during a skirmish, and is now replaced by a mechanical arm. His shop is neatly organized with all the spare parts and weapons collected, salvaged, and plundered throughout his life. The backyard is a mess with heaps of scrap metal, probably awaiting their use in Kesler's next crafts. There also seems to be an old energy turret that sticks out, inscribed with some sort of insignia.

Gremlins
I have one question though, the two gremlins, Punch and Vise are exiled gremlins, so why would they care about their king's invasion in the first place. Its a good chapter. I like the structure and the comedy, but I'm just confused about Punch and Vise, they're merchants that help knights now.Also, the roarmulus twins just got out, and I don't think they would attack just now afterwards. Although its just criticism, I just wanted to know, thanks

So what next for the group? As the story is set, they got their stuff stolen, a laser blasts a building...pretty cool, how will they survive?
