Fiendish
Devilites
Incorporated
A new area in tier 1 that is a large devilite office building. Players must travel through two new sections before facing a new boss! There will also be new gimmicks in this area in which you've never seen before!
Floor one: The Lobby
Players will enter the lobby building and will be met with a small assortment of regular Devilites. Throughout the lobby area, devilites, pit bosses, mewkats and zombies will appear to try and stop you from progressing onward. Very simple and straightforward, however eventually you will reach the employee lunching area! However it will be blocked by a large cart filled with cleaning supplies, with an alternate path splitting off. You will continue down this path and fight many more forces of devilites and other undead/fiend based monsters until you come to a party switch. You will notice a gate that is closed off, and behind it is a devilite with a small cap and a scruffy looking mustache on. This is the Devilite Janitor, and all of them must be defeated in order to move the cart in front of the lunching area. Step on the switch and start the battle! During the battle, Devilite Janitors will be able to throw mops and other cleaning supplies at you, however these will be as slow as overtimer projectiles and will only deal regular devilite damage to you. After defeating a few waves of enemies, the gates will open allowing you to defeat the devilite and remove the cart. Devilite Janitors will always dive away from players, no matter what. If a player is close, they will always attempt to run away.
After removing the cleaning cart, players will proceed to the lunch area where they will be met with fire and ice devilites who work in the kitchen preparing food! It will also be the Pit Boss lunch break, so many pit bosses will be in this area to promote or overtime all the devilites in this area. This area will have fire and ice panels scattered around in the corners of the room for additional hazards.
After defeating all the devilites in the lunch area, it will be time to move on. You will see another janitor cart, however this time there are 2 janitors each down a split path. And each is out free and guarded by devilites and devilite overtimers. After defeating the janitors, the cart will disappear and you can move on to the next floor!
Floor Two: Office Cubicles
Players will enter the Office Cubicle area where many Devil-IT's are hard at work, tapping away on their little keyboards trying to get work done and go home early. Regular Devilites and Blarful's will run around this maze-like area, trying to stop you from proceeding further into the building. One gimmick this area has, is that if you come across a Devil-IT overtimer hard at work in his cubicle, he will jump out and begin to attack! Pit bosses will naturally walk down this hall, and promote/overtime any pre-spawned devilites in the area. There will be two more janitor carts, one within the center of the level with two more Janitors to hunt down and defeat and one near the end with THREE devilite Janitors to hunt down and defeat. This area will have a maze structure, and will require finding Janitors and pressing party switches to navigate through. Shock panels and spike floors can also be placed in this area for a more hazardous effect. After clearing the last cart, you will enter the break room which contains a party switch. Hit the switch and hordes of Devilites will attack you, at least one of each devilite will be fought in this room. Gun puppies will also spawn in this area as a natural defence.
Finally after clearing the break room, run through one last cubicle area and you will reach the elevator to the final floor! Prepare to meet the Devilite CEO!
Floor Three: The CEO's office.
Players will enter the CEO's office and will hear a much louder and lower pitched honking noise that the devilites usually make. You will see a large desk, and on both sides of the room there will be large graphs with new Devilites that look like Devil-IT's standing in front of them chatting about them. Proceed forward, heal and press the party switch! The scene will shift to show the Devilite CEO sitting in his chair, back facing the brave knights. After the scene shifts fully to the CEO, he will press his small little intercom and speak to his secretary.
"Lisa, could you please move my 5 o'clock meeting to 5:15? I have some "Unfinished documents" to take care of."
The devilite CEO will proceed to spin around and jump over his desk. His full height is triple the size of a pit boss! However, there is much more to this boss then simply pounding the daylights out of him! The CEO will be immune to all damage unless you run to each graph and defeat the two devil-IT like devilites reading them. This will make sales plummet, and the CEO will scramble to call in 4 new devilites and promote them. During this period, the Devilite CEO is vulnerable and can be hurt. After being promoted, each devil-IT will rush back to the graphs at lightning speed and the CEO will resume his attacks.
The Devilite CEO will lumber around the arena at the speed of a pit boss, and will have three attacks.
The first attack is much like the snarbolax's spike toss. The devilite CEO will pull pens from his pocket and toss them in a spread shot that will strike anyone in their way.
The second attack involves the devilite CEO holding his mug of coffee, he will proceed to take a sip and shout "YUCK! DECAFE!" And spit globes of coffee on the floor. These will hurt players if they come in contact while being launched, and will remain on the floor like oiler globs. However they lose the ability to hurt you.
The third attack is when the devilite CEO points in a general direction of a knight and shout "You're FIRED!" and a column of flames will shoot towards the player, much like a fire gremlin's attack. This attack will be 3 more fire columns longer then a fire gremlins flamethrower attack, and it will ignite all coffee splotches on the ground for a short amount of time.
Finally, after the CEO is defeated, he will flop down onto the floor and his intercom will land on his stomach. He will proceed to talk to his secratary one more time.
"Lisa, please cancel all of my meetings today. I think I'm coming down with the flu."
And will proceed to explode!
Finally, a large token will drop down and you will be awarded with the up to 3 "Stock Options" and can proceed to behind his desk to the town of Moorcraft Manor.
And that is my idea! Suggestions? Questions? Criticism? Speak now! Credits go to this thread for inspiration! http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/18966
I think this is an actual good idea. I was wondering why the Devilites and Pit Bosses didn't have a dungeon or anything like that.
