The hall ways

The hallways would be as wide as a arena room.(maybe smaller, but you get the idea. I said hallway, because isn't the CEO suppose to be able to use them when he personally fires workers so he can see the despair in person?) And there's only be like 4 devilites spread out (which is enough) and the spotlights would vary in numbers depending on the length of the hall. And look a female devilite HAS to be your receptionist? And look I couldn't think of anything else besides doors. Besides the function for the doors are different here. They rarely pop out with greavers and they only pop out a few and stop aftyer that. Besides this is a separate idea. I'm not saying to replace yours. I'm saying what I think it should be like if it was a building. Your idea were interesting and good for a city. Just think of me trying to levels for a office building-version. And sorry for stealing the door idea. I kinda skimed that part. No hard feelings? I didn't want to make enemies on this thread. So can we just come to an understanding? (oh can someone really tell me a website where I can post without making an account? I got the desk drawned)

What I'm saying is that you can't post online pictures without accounts.

Fine on the door thing. And actually have the whole receptionist female in your idea maybe she sits at a desk.
But anyway don't use the doors.
Perhaps you can have the animal catchers (from the third level idea) come by the hallway with cages that release the greavers.
Just ask if you can use any of my ideas, but the guards are off limits.

I love this Idea.

I just wanted to suggest having the CEO's office having a view of the core. And maybe as rewards we could get suit costumes or suit armor with shadow, elemental but extremely weak to status effects. I really Hope OOO listens to their players and they turn this into reality.

Overall suggestion

I like Oakgear's bodyguard idea, I think it would fit well into the overall theme of the boss himself HOWEVER: I believe he needs to be less defensive about his suggestions, and try to not accredit everything to himself. A female devilite and opening doors are generic, your not a trend setter.

I also would put up to a vote to include a view of the core room from the CEO's office, whoever posted that detail, I salute you on that

Overall, the boss himself is pretty concrete, as I've said before, and I believe that there is nothing major about his fight that would need to be addressed, except maybe increase the time it takes for his bonus stage to start, I think if you based the time it takes for his bonus stage to activate off of about the time it takes to defeat Vanaduke would help balance out that part of him.

I totally change my mind about the bodyguard. I'm kinda reluctant to show my pic of the monster desk, but I already drawn it. So I'm going to post it anyway, but it's not as good as yours.

The CEO and the receptionist wouldn't look like that of course and the desk and CEO would be a lot bigger.

Maybe OOO can use the testing server for the time limit. (of course with either very few trustworthy players who wouldn't leak info or use a timed vanaduke stage.) Well time to brace for impact (crititism)!

I'm impressed

Very few people have impressed me. I 've changed my point of view on the boss completely. Maybe it can have a humerous (but dangerous) attack where it flicks you away and heavily stuns you. I agree on the window to the core thing. Maybe the devs can put a easter egg there.

who appears to be on their period, I will focus on the positive aspects of the drawing.
I like that you took the initiative to actually make a physical representation of your design, It give something to build off of in the future, if the idea is to be implemented. I say good job, the more you draw the better you get. the desk is good practice, keep working on your method.

I still think I am unimpressed by most of this... And no one uses my idea.

@Oakgear: So basically, I wanted to put in Constructs because otherwise, having a pierce based weapon will completely wipe all competition.
@Beastlikethat: Your pictures are, um, interesting. I'm really not sure that the desk should be like a wall or enemy. How about a series of explosion/regular destructible blocks that have block generators underneath them, and stack up until they reach maximum size? And if a knight wished to break through them, they would have to destroy all the blocks in one stack to get through it? Also, to hold the path open, there would be totems/statues to block the block generators.

I totally saw this coming. What do I'm mean you ask? The fact Oakgear broke his own rule. XD Just playing around. I don't mind getting critictism as long as it's constructive. And Oak, it was a simple drawing for an example. No need for textures and lighting.( I know what they mean) Well anyways I wonder if devs have even seen this thread yet. Oh and do you (oak) have any objections, constructive critctism, or just complaints about the moster desk or anything similar?

Oh and michael

Imagine a team with long ranged weapons. They would pass through like it's nothing. ( they stay at a range to avoid explosion and use fast guns to kill regular blocks.) But it's a nice idea. Maybe it could block the way with the pit boss.

Your starting to confuse me?
If you put constructs that would definitely screw up all chances of victory.
I don't see any wolvers on the levels before RT (I just beat them for my first time recently, Accomplishment Yay)
I don't see the undead or fiends on the levels before the JK (I only get far enough to the level before the boss, Sadness... )
As for vanaduke I don't think you could throw off the balance before his levels, but I've never been there.

There won't be any other type of enemies helping on the boss level besides-
The receptionist
The bodyguard
And the Pitbosses? (Still unsure what's been agreed on)

Michael I don't know with you wanna troll people from a boss' point of view or that you've never thought a boss.
Besides I included constructs in my level 3 idea.

Sorry Everyone

I won't be able to put the Devilite Receptionist I drew up today.
I just finished scanning the picture when all the sudden my computer started being an ads.
I'll have my dad fix it when he comes home, but I have no idea if this could last an hour or a week.
So in the mean time I hope to finish the rest of the devilites I came up with.
The retartd thing is that I can still scan things.

The pit bosses would be there to guard the way.

They have high health so they could block much better than blocks. By the way if the special stage happens, let's have the bodyguard give the suitcase to the boss and have him leave in a frantic flight. This would show how afraid the workers are when the boss goes full power. If they beat him the bodyguard grabs the fainted CEO and lifts him to a unseen room. Then you get the tokens and leaves. That second version of the ending seems unfair for the player to kill him again with no health moniter. By the way Oakgear, do you have any friends that post on the forums? If so show them this thread. The more support the more likely this can become reality. I would ask my friends, but most of them have left SK due to the Energy Crisis that happened before the Steam event. :/ By the way I try to make simple versions of the devilites. This way OOO can avoid copyright by creating more complicated versions.

Level Two for an office building.

Devil's Incorporated: Office Zoo

You start in a small room. The level resembles an office floor mixed with a overgrown vegetation. You meet a Mother sprite (Yep I'm going to reuse the sprites. Who said they only exist at FSC? These sprites are different and the challenge is different.) She informs you that the CEO loves to collect exotic animals. He puts them in this level to tortue travellers and give his workers even more labor to do. The sprites use to live somewhere else before they were captured. They couldn't cage the mother sprite so they just left her outside with the other devilite-resisting monsters. (which is everything, except for regular sprites.) You of course have to help find the sprites. The level is filled with greavers (the security pets), jellys, and beasts. The level contains many monster cages which you have to break (they block important paths) and contain rock jellys and... wait for it... Slooms and Jelly green giant! Of course they appear very scarcely and there would only be one giant. These monsters guard the cages containing the sprites. Now here's the twist. Since the paths to the sprites are easier then the ones in FSC, let's have the sprites hypnotized! Once you figure out the correct way to hit the switches (doors would be blocking the room to the sprite.) and you break the cage the fail-safe activates and turns the sprite into a high health overtimer with the ability to heal very small amounts over time. Once you beat it, the sprites turn back to normal. Then get four sprites to the mother, so a key appears so you can open the gate that blocks the path to the elevator. The level also introduces Special Blocks that when destroyed produces a small haze similar to a greavers haze. Technically a status vaporiser version of the explosion cube. Hint the monsters are affected by the haze too.

Well finally got the time to post this. So any good? And did I accidently copy something oak?

If I understand correctly, you want to have the sprites turn into enemies that are moderately powerful. I think I want to suggest a small twist to go with that. So how about there are those odd hieroglyph-type things like in Dark City levels, except some of them glow a different color. Now imagine if the evil sprites could teleport between these. How about that? Of course, so as to not make these levels impossible, the sprites would all have a stripe across their bellies, and this stripe would be a different color for each one. If a sprite, for example, had a red stripe, it could only teleport between red hieroglyphs.

That's my(elaborate :P)thought.

I like it!

Though maybe they could only do that when on low health, so it won't be OP and players have a chance when lagging. I want players to freak out when the adorable sprite they want to save tries to kill them. I was going to say snipes, but that's too evil even for a Devilite CEO.

:O True snipes are awesomely cute... And again, I like the idea of only doing it on low health. plus, maybe some extra graphics for the bewitched sprites. And some of the teleport spots would be in... Surprising places. For instance, maybe a red teleport would lead into a sealed chamber that ha a green spot in it, to set up a dangerous semi-boss fight.

I only read part of the idea,

I only read part of the idea, and instantly started to think of how this should play out.

I finished reading the idea, and agreed with most of what I read. I don't think there should be an increase of enemies,though. This shouldn't rival Royal Jelly, now. He's already a pain to deal with, for mid - lower Tier 2 adventurers (or ANY Tier not equipped with Fire or Poison). But then again, it does push the bar about exploring with a group, rather than going in, solo(like I seem to do, when my friends aren't on. I don't have a strong connection, so I don't want to hold back other random players from continuing on.)...

There should definitely be another boss, and a Devilite seems like the best option.

A+ idea, here.

About the whole "Logic" Thing.....

1. About the argument about Poison Lead not being very logical, in case you haven't noticed, but SK is the exact OPPOSITE of a logical game. You have elevators the run on Energy, weird little cube things with spikes that can walk, THE FACT THAT YOU CAN BE REVIVED, and most of all, weapon status effects. "Oh, I just hit you with a sword! Now your frozen somehow!" Not really understanding the whole point of complaining that it's not logical, other than to be a troll TBH.

2. Awesome idea, but I think the clock should be more around 15 minutes, cause Vana took about 10 minutes to kill before the Blitz Needle Trick, and that was if you had a good team.

Well I got time so... Third level for an office building.

Devil's Incorporated: Grand Blast Work Hallways -
Remember how I said this company use to be endorsed by King Krogma? Well this level will soon explain how that influences the security. Lucky for you there are no monsters here if you do things right. Not good news if you do it wrong. The security spotlights return. Now you walk hallways wider then the ones before. Trojan and gun puppy statues line the walls. If you can pass through safely the gates won't pop up and trap you. If you touch the spotlights, gate's pop up and the statues become real. About two Trojans and four gun puppies will be revealed to be security measures. Other hallways have only two trojans on the walls, and they become real one at a time. The thing is these hallways have spikes that activate when you get spoted. These spikes like the ones in blast works only stun. The third type of hallway that appears here has the missles from BOTH Ironclaw factory and Blastworks, and the monsters are four overtimers. (shock inflicting) So this hallway is when you should take you time or else you'll be sent to a very annoying fight were you have to guess if the missle coming at you stuns or damages and have to chase devilites. The final hallway before the elevator has no security, but is filled with special cages. (the hall way is completely filled.) They are special because they're purple contains only fiends and sometimes be duds(as in no monsters pop out. Some are duds on purpose so you can make a path without monster problems. Heavy swords are not recommended for this stage. Just to make fun OOO can put hidden easter eggs all over the place. (windows, banners, statues, etc.)
Once you reach the level you meet a tired out devilite. You talk to him and asks why is there such a grand Hallway? He'll tell you that this place is the only way to reach the break rooms.(there would be paths to rooms filled with crowns and treasure boxes) He says that the CEO is a sadist and ask King Krogma to design the hallways. King Krogma refuses to make this place terrifying so you have Grand Hallways with a nightmarish security system. He then says he thinks of quitting, because he actually likes the knights and say you guys are great friends. Then you have a dialogue thing pop up saying " YOU DARE DEFY THE ORDER OF THE BIG CHEESE!( the CEO likes cheese. ^_^) I WILL SEND YOU TO THE LABYRINTH OF ETERNAL SORROW FOR BETRAYING YOUR ONLY FATHER!" The poor devilite is then sucked into a black hole screaming "Your my uncle, you frikin noob! On to the next level!

I personally don't think this level I made was that very good. I kinda had to rush it so maybe I'll replace it with something better when I'm very free.

Yet the only thing is that I don't know how a the weapon he has looks like?

Lol just kidding about the last part I'm going to spend lots of time drawing the rest of my ideas.
That includes the buildings.

Hey does anybody notice an increased amount of boss threads? Maybe it's just me... Anyways I really must thank Oakgear for helping out a lot. Still the thread needs to be popular now if it wants to be a reality. (We haven't gotten word of any major new content so yeah, perfect time.) Maybe I should change the title to say "Awesome idea! Have #x supporters! Need more!" Or maybe I'm over dueing it?

How do you know what devilites use in their pencils.
Maybe theres not even a single spec of graphite on the planet.

I was thinking of posting a link everytime I post on the forums like on the bottom. But I've seen Lordofnecromancers do that with his fan-fics and got screamed at so I'm reluctant to do that. So what do you guys think?
