u crazy dude like 2.5k or 3k good.
low down energy prices! who is with me!
Lol guys, the first post was posted 3 months ago. lol they think 3k is high.
5.5k. Something needs to be done about this, feels like a damn P2P game...
I'd be happy with the 3K price. At present, I can't afford to keep up my CE count. It's always at 0 cuz I can't get enough crowns to level up my gear, get recipes AND buy extra ce for me to use!
Please lower it for the little people...
even 4.5 would be appreciated...
PLZ HELP PEOPLE! CE IS COSTING AS MUCH AS RECIPES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've noticed that sellers wait sometimes even if the top bid on the CE trade(forget the buy it now) is like 50 crowns higher than the previous 4 bids. Sometimes even closer to the buy it now price(maybe around 50 cr more to b.i.n.). It's either the sellers or wealthy impatient buyers that are bidding the prices, and therefore you have more frustrated buyers that don't know when to wait for the rich buyer to get all his ce traded, so they all psychologically act like that's the new price, especially when newcomers haven't seen the huge gap between the top bid for ce vs the rest of the 4. It's just a pattern I've noticed. Cause I still bid the 2nd or 3rd highest and sellers are willing to oblige that and you see sellers willing to sell at lower prices so all the lower bids get traded into a cascade motion after that inflated top bid is gone.
Last week CE costed 5k per 100.
Now it's 5.5
3 months ago it was 3k
...
How about 3 months from now?
It already was on 8k then there came something new that destroyes money like KKC or the UV-Crafter and it went down to 5k ... now it slowly increases again. Would it be so fail if the market gets an NPC that gives 100 energy for 5250 and takes 100 energy for 4750?
"Would it be so fail if the market gets an NPC that gives 100 energy for 5250 and takes 100 energy for 4750?"
What? That destroys the whole market principle. We players gotta fix this ourselves. Just don't buy CE for a while. Demand drops=price drops. People for some odd reason let the CE market be buyer run wheras the AH seems seller run. How often are people's prices for CE undershot? Not often. On the AH however, people constantly post things for 10 to 100 crowns less, to make shure their item is bought.
Guess why; becuase it costs money to put it on the AH, and it only stays for a limited time. CE offers should be removed after two days and should cost money to post. This might not stabily lower the price, but it'll jump down more often.
Buyers currently run the AH because there are more people wanting to sell more stuff than there are buyers. Sellers currently run the CE market because there are more buyers wanting CE than there are sellers. There have been times in the past when both of these were reverse. Cutting the time bids can be posted on the cr<->CE exchange from 7 days down to 2 days and adding a listing fee would just discourage people from placing CE on the market, the exact opposite of what would drive down the exchange rate.
PvP is no longer new-shiny and a lot few crowns are being sunk on it and people are back in the clockworks fountaining crowns. The special CE battle package is no longer new-shiny, and people are no longer buying extra CE. Punch is no longer new-shiny, and people are sinking less crowns there too. And, of course, the power-surge weekend didn't help, but that was a short term effect.
I'm glad that OOO has added some crown sinks over the last month or so, but a lot more need to be added.
T1 full run average is about 3-4k(with no arena or any other major cr areas eg. grave yards) spending 60ce or 3.5k (i pulled that off quick math in my head dont count me if its wrong) thus they spend maybe 120 ce to make 100 thus T1 in not all to worth doing T2 you can make 6-7k a run if you know what your doin and my self has made at most 15k in T3 (thru 3 arenas and 1 grave yard) but on average you make around 10k the price on Ce is not that bad right now unless ur in T1 you'll struggle in T2 you'll be fine in T3 and you'll be rich if you do what i do
only spend your mist energy control this by getting a diff past time and only playing every 22 hours and only using your mist (yes i had to say that twice) save your crowns up buy energy when ever you can and stop buying when you hit 1k ce save up your crowns and be patient trust me one day something will happen its like the weather energy goes up people stop playing energy stops getting purchased a month later energy is at 3k people play for 4 months the the process repeats
Even if you are a mass crafter with a head start or bought your energy Dirt, it still should drain your ce much more quickly. And 6-7k is an average Van run, whose materials will probably net a little more, but remember these are rare drops and it's assumed that you make it through van all the way to the end, which only so few can do if you count up the number of players that play this game a lot.
*Cough* Energy prices are now 6k *Cough*
I mean really, 3k is not a lot. At all. In any way. If your in Tier 1, you don't need CE. You can do fine with mist. In Tier 2, JK runs usually yield about 4k for me, give or take arena's and stuff. Tier 3, your already there, you don't NEED CE, but you probably want 5* stuff. One word, Vanaduke. That is the ultimate crown farming stratum.
Im with ya, i thought it was simple enough when 5k, dont know why it needs to be put higher.
It only makes more people stop playing.
Especially beginners.
You want cheaper CE prices? Buy some CE with real $ and sell it on the market.
Still not cheap enough? Buy some more CE with real $ and keep selling it.
Rinse and Repeat until you've achieved the desired price level for CE.
WHAT? You don't want to be the white knight to bring cheap CE to the masses? You want someone else to do it?
DANG... You really are selfish and greedy.
common definetly low it down, this price is insane
Looks like your plans are being opposed by the Illuminati...

Hate it when someone does the market scheme!!! Buys everything and then sells at a mad price....Fingers crossed about CE price dropping.
Prices dopping HAH, thats what we thought would happen after the CE giveaway weekend, but they only went up, and usually the second weekend of the month is another POWER SURGE SUPER CE PRICE BREAKER weekend, so expect 10kcr prices at the end of September, and a lot of mad free-players.
they need to pump some serious CE into the market or else its up to people paying for CE....which yeah doubtful with how its looking currently
Yeah theres hardly a way to lower the prices without buying CE with real money. Anyway I'm working on a solution for myself and players. I'm going to save up and accumulate 10000CE by mid September. Oh you don't think i can do it? You think Prices are THAT high? Tell that to my 200CE income per DAY. Granted I'm 5* still this is the 2 big things i'll Do with my CE. (<<
O WOW dont mean to double post but my WHOLE POST was gone because of too long i assumme XD
Oh well ill re post in my own thread i guess.
I have NEVER seen CE under 5000 since I started playing this game. I have a full 5* set. I've been playing for two months, as F2P. The trick is to have a massive friends list, and a good guild. I never enter the clockworks, unless it's an arena or starting on the floors of a JK or FSC run.
People who were buying CE at 3000 and getting 9000 per JK run didn't know what they had. I hear crafting prices used to be half as much, too.
Well i started to play at july and CE was 6k. Then it went down to 4.9-5k. Hope it will back again x(
Please don't revive threads that are over four months old.
A LOT of the information in this thread is out of date and misleading now.

I have no idea what you were trying to say, but...
Please don't revive threads that are over four months old.
Konnichiwa,
I don't know what u're thinking. But for me "decent" CE price should be alike this:
In tier 1 u must waste full 100 CE for earning cr for another one.
In tier 2 u must waste ONLY 50-60 CE (full tier 2 run) for earning cr for another one AND having alike 500-1000 cr profit from it.
About tier 3, think about it by urself.
Regards,
Yari-San.
If we just going to rev old threads I guess I will rev mine as well
Yup and the mods deleted my thread about how all this necroing would happen
This is my suggestion for the economy:
the ce market economy is player run all good as it is now, fair and square. The price are manipulated by players and seems to make it inaccessible and hostile for new player, thus discourage the flow of new player into the game and endangers the game, you argued. But that is how free market works, in real life. This is something useful you can learn from a game for your real life.
To OOO:
My suggestion that to keep the newbies attracted into the game and does not get the feeling of being brutally rip off by the rich is to allow them to go freely in Tier 1. Method is making Tier 1 elevator energy-free or energy-halved for the beginner, until they have T2 clearance. A tier 1 run which takes them 60 energy only pay off 2k-3k and that does not make the rich any poorer and ensure a constant supply of n00bs, sorry, newbies and also customers for the rest. (who buy all your things on AH, mates?). When they decide to get their T2 clearance they must have adequate gear to explore it and grind cr to buy their ce to continue. Free or half-price Tier 1 run, only for the beginners who does not have T2 clearance to keep them running well does not harm you much, does it not, OOO?
To b***hurting ce cravers:
I must say 100 mist per 22 hours is fair to keep you in the game. All you need is make them into hard cash and it takes time and effort. Remember nothing comes free without deserving it. This game is F2P only financially (you don't have to pay monthly or pay initial for it and still enjoy the contents when you deserve it) but not that it will play by itself for you.
I am a paid player but I run 99% of my time on mist. Yes I bought ce to accelerate my crafting (I always craft when I have full 100mist that equivalent to transfer my 100 mist into hard ce). The ce rocketing price does not affect me much because I am not buying it much, only selling it occasionally.
I have 200 mist per day because I play 2 character and I am much settled spending those 200 mist for entertainment per day.
Last important point: YOUR ARGUE ON CE PRICE IS BASED ON THE PRESUMPTION THAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO PLAY NON-STOP, 24/7!! GO do other things. I am happy with this game and I love it because I only play 2-3h a day and I enjoy other things too like going out with boyfriends, karaoke, sight seeing, xxx, other stuffs.
So my conclusion is: awesomeness comes at a price, either money or effort, you choose. U MAD BRO? You can play Solitaire.
@ The post topic
I am not with you, and never will be. In fact once I get some CE I'm going to raise the price a bit.
"So my conclusion is: awesomeness comes at a price, either money or effort, you choose. U MAD BRO? You can play Solitaire."
I agree
And lol @ necroing threads and all other CE threads coming back. I hope we get to 8k by the end of the week if not more.
this thread is Crazywave's legacy
Get people to lower the prices of the amount of crowns they are selling their CE for. if a lot of people drop it, beginners and older (been playing, not age) players will be able to buy CE more. It would also get them money faster. Maybe not as much but they would definitely have their energy sell a lot faster.
higher CE prices= less buyers and not many people getting the CR they want for their CE
lower CE prices = lots of buyers and a lot more people buying CE and sellers getting the CR they want
Am I right?
Those who buy ce with $ are the ones benefitting. What happens when they run out of that ce? Won't they suffer even a greater deal? All in all, we are all going to experience detrimental effects in the long run.
100ce is almost 7k now so it is near impossinle to craft 5-star and 4-star items, but the good news is that u will earn about 3k-8k on t1 runs now, so do 2 or 3 of those and you will get 100ce
Man, i still think the developers can fix this crap. If politicians can fix IRL inflaction just by manipulating money, what can OOO do? They can change the whole [frakking] REALITY of the game.
What the heck! Also, this is us. We inflate it. We want MORE! So why are speaking to the developers like they are the problems. This isn't real life.
5k per 100 CE is fine, because 1 FSC run gives around 7,5k cr. 100 mist is enough for 2 FSC runs, so everyday you will earn 15k cr, which is equal to 300 CE.
free T1 access would be horrible, as those with multiple accounts would farm cr for free without even having to pay for an elevator pass. 1/2 price might be acceptable.
Either way, it only takes ~4-5k to make it into T2 (1k for brandish, 1k for wolver coat, 1k for wolver cap, 1-2k for owlite shield). That is 2 successful runs without revives and you are at T2. I don't know the market for gunner or bomber gear, but I can't believe it would be that much more expensive.
I'm not saying that it isn't hard to gain T2 access, but it can be done extremely fast and extremely cheap without even buying CE, so halving the elevator costs might not be the solution, and instead it might be a tiny bit more education for beginners provided by OOO.
I am a FREE player. This game says FREE. Now, it is too hard to get 400 ce. 6200 crowns times 4. *shudder*. Too much! TOOO MUCH!
I am F2P. This inflation is our fault(The Playerbase). Just wait for it to go down.
The energy prices are now 6k per 100CE. This is getting a bit ridiculous. Crafting anything above 3 star is impossible without actually buying CE with real money. This bothers me. They should lower the prices.
I'm fully 4* and completely F2P. It'll just take more time, that's all.
Spiral knights needs more crown sinks. But it doesn't get them nearly fast enough... hopefully missions will solve this a bit. And yes, featured auctions are my hero.
Omfg novel ideal. +1 for originality. Hipsters unite.
Ce prices 7.5kcrs per 100ce but u don't hve to be a crybaby.after all(f2p) players u haven't payed a single cent so stfu cuz this is a free game in which u expect alot from 000

energy super high they need to cut it or something or take it off so we dont have to wait for a refill or to buy it...
