Hi!
The title says it all mostly, but let me ask a question at the end.

My equips (all level 10 except FoV):

Armor/Shields:

Skolver Cap --UV Normal defence Max!
Skolver Coat
Crest of Almire (Main)
Dark thorn shield (for jelly/beast stratas if I run into one

Weapons:

Fang of Vog -- level 8
Leviathan --UV ASI Medium
Barbarous Thorn Blade
Wild Hunting Blade (yes its a main weapon)
Polaris
Blitz Needle

Trinkets:
Soaking Wetstone Pendant 5* --- (if i use FoV charge, it lessens the fire damage by 2 seconds and half a bar in T3)

Now would I be able to do a full Depth1-Core run?
If my guild came do you think we could do that in the FSC gate (Vanaduke)?
I should mention I use my guns in FSC and Levi, FoV or BTB.
I have 3 weapon slots available (need to renew one though :/

Anyway if I can get some good posts before 12:00PM server time then ill have a good idea of to solo it, go in a group, or not go at all.

Goodnight!

Readiness assessment:

Now would I be able to do a full Depth1-Core run?

You might be able to... but I'd wait until I have three types of armor and shield to make it easier (and with fewer revives, hopefully zero).
Still, perhaps you will be able to overcome what awaits you... believe. :D

If my guild came do you think we could do that in the FSC gate (Vanaduke)?

You'd have problems with it because of your lack of fire resist. But it's still fairly doable.

The Duke's gate is not an ideal gate to do Cradle and All/Dauntless Delver. Bad stuff can happen and you might die/lose to the Duke. Same with Royal Jelly. The best gates to do it on are the snarbo gate and the twins gate because these are bosses that can be "soloed" easily and are fairly predictable. Even better if those gates are manipulated to have easy strata... (read: Slimes)

I'd love this kind of gate myself:
(whatever)
Beast (Snarbo)
Gremlin/Poison
Beast/Slime
Gremlin/Poison
Beast/Slime

Back when I soloed it I had

Back when I soloed it I had leviathan and frost gun, in ash tail set with grey owlite. picked an easy gate though and skipped hard stuff on tier 3 just in case.

If you have good help and you aren't stupid you shoudln't die on vana. I wouldn't bring fov or wild hunting blade since that would be asking to die, but sure, if you are good enough you can.

FoV does elemental. Elemental

FoV does elemental. Elemental vs FSC = good. Just i wont use the charge and gun like a gunner should be doing.
I highly doubt ill die at Jelly King, and with my guildies Ithink we'll beable to do either gate.

I'm not going for the Achievement Cradle and all or w/e without dieing. I just wanna go from start to finish. If my rev is at 40 after vanaduke then so be it.
@ Arctic-Fern

Its not really that hard you know, Fire isnt a big deal if you know what you're doing. Personally, the only problem would be Vana where one hit of that mace means near death.

I think ill attempt it later today so wish me luck!

Considering you can change

Considering you can change gear at basil and subtowns I'm not sure why you'd stick to one set-up unless that's all you've got. Anyhow you can easily do it if you're good, it's really more about knowing when to play cautious than it is about gear. If you aren't going for Dauntless Delver and don't care about deaths there's no reason you couldn't.

I recently went from d1 to

I recently went from d1 to d29 without deaths (almost dying once, I was one pip and frozen after getting hit by a lumber. But by that point I had 3 of every pill and 3 capsules, so I was okay).

My equipment was:

Divine Veil (Elemental max)
Skolver Coat (Shadow max)
Barbarous Thorn Shield (Shadow med, piercing/normal low)
Elite Slash Trinket
Elite Quick Strike Trinket
Glacius (CTR high)
Electron Vortex (CTR medium)
Barbarous Thorn Blade (CTR low)
Polaris (ASI low)

It was fairly easy. Though I took an easy route and did Snarby as my first boss. Then I just kept going until the end. I never encountered any danger rooms so I wasn't tempted in that fashion, though I might skip them if you really want that Dauntless. I was by myself and it was fairly easy to avoid damage for the most part.

Very doable

I think the key to Dauntless Delver is patience more than anything. On the last power surge weekend myself and 3 guildies went from top to bottom and everyone got Dauntless Delver. (In fact, I got Hardcore, Gold Survivor, Cradle and All, and Dauntless Delver all at the same time.)

- I agree with a previous poster that the Snarby gate will be your best bet to avoid an inadvertent death.
- When we did it, we always waited at gates for candlestick keep to rotate and we avoided T3 Arenas (Not that we didn't think we could do them, we just didn't want to chance the deaths at all.)

Now the other guildies I went with have great gear, but at the time I only had 4 Star Equipment (I just made my first 5 star item a few nights ago.)

Thanks for the help!
I'm not new to T3 either, which is the vibe i'm getting
I've done FSC enough With that gear and hardly die until Vana, even then I've beat him in a team of 2 (me and a friend) with only 3 revs total.

BTW that IS my only 5* gear. Everything else is 2* or some 3*
I guess Ill ask If they want to do the new FSC gate. If not Ill go with JK gate, I do want a challenge, not a easy kill and a freebie to the Core (been there)

Well time for the run. Wish me Luck!

Well, while maximizing the chance to get Dauntless Delver...

a easy kill and a freebie to the Core

...is exactly what I'd rather have.
BTW I've never even gotten Gold Survivor despite already 2 slime t6 passing me by. :p

Practice

My recommendation is prior to running it, practice the T3 depth of the Snarby gate until you can do it without dying.

I soloed Dauntless Delver/Cradle and All this past Power Surge weekend using the Snarby gate.

My equipment is:
Divine Avenger
Gran Faust
Argent Peacemaker
Shivermist Buster
Chaos Cowl
Chaos Cloak
Barbarous Thorn Blade
Elite Quick Strike Module x2

I don't yet have alternate equipment, though I'm working on some, but I wanted my 5* gear obviously.

Some generic advice:
- You definitely need patience. Try to split pulls up if possible so you only have a couple mobs to deal with and not a whole pack.
- Avoid Candlestick Keep if you can help it. Some of them can be pretty easy but since they're random, a couple of the rooms can mean almost certain death (at least if you're going Solo).
- Keep the previous tier's health pills. Try to only use them if you are out of the current tier's health pills as they become irreplaceable, but don't hesitate at all to use them. Hesitation can lead to disaster.
- While you do have to be patient, the run takes a lot of time. It's best to cut every corner and focus on your goal. You don't need to slash every bush along the way (unless you are not at full health). You aren't here for crowns/heat. If you can skip packs safely that won't come back later to bite you, do so (you don't need to kill every Gun Puppy along the path). Deconstruction Zones can be your best friend as you can skip most of the level and go straight to the elevator without much of a fight. Arenas, even T3, aren't that bad as long as you only do the first room. Don't tempt fate or make your run longer by doing any more than that.

Good luck!

Armor is irrelevant. CoA. DA,

Armor is irrelevant. CoA. DA, DVS, Polaris, Shivermist.

Go.

Anyways, I haven't done Dauntless Delver yet because I refuse to not do a danger room, even if it is t3. So that keeps biting me in the butt when I'm almost done and it ends up something I'm not skilled enough for yet, like the gremlin/jelly cross spike encounter (by far the hardest encounter in the game unless you're a bomber).

Dauntless Delver is less

Dauntless Delver is less about equipment and more about patience, and picking the right gate. Sure, you *could* do Dauntless on a T3 Undead/Fiend full of Candlestick Keeps without a single whit of shadow defense... but that would require much more skill, patience and luck than say, T3 Beast/Slime with Jelly Farms and Wolver Dens decked out in full Skolver. Check the gates every week and see if you find one where T3 is to your liking. T1 is irrelevant, and T2 is not a concern as long as you play it safe, so the only limiting factor is T3.

What they said

With piercing defense only, you can definitely do T3 if there are beast and slime strata, and probably be ok with gremlin and haunted strata, but if there are fiend or construct strata, life is going to be tough, although still doable with a couple deaths. Unless of course, you are as good as Chris the soloer of Vanaduke (heh).
