Just wanted to thank Lhykos for bringing Guild Lockdown back to life. (I wonder if my thread was any inspiration. Probably I'm just deluding myself, though.) Also, I do kinda think Tier 3 gear should become standard as it proves the strength of both guilds. (Who wants to brag that they won a 1* gear tournament?) Also, this is probably what most guilds have crafted their Lockdown equipment with special UV's and whatnot for. It would be quite a hassle to craft/buy more specialized gear, especially because no one buys UV's for their 1* gear.

@Benb: I appreciate the Kudos, I never saw your thread personally when I made this one but it's nice to find people who think alike.
This is not ACTUALLY a Tier 1 Tournament.
It is up to the Guilds participating what Tier they wish to play in. If no consensus on Tier can be reached, the Default Tier must be Tier 1. You can check the Match Rules for that.
I appreciate all the added interest in the tournament from other guilds. Currently the sign up is closed, but please do post your interest in joining in case another Guild happens to drop out.

Match Details
Each "Match" Consists of 2 lockdown games. It doesn't matter if they're both 500 or 900 or a mix. Scoring goes by percentage (Rank points basically).
Talking to almost all the Pool B Guilds, as well as Dominance, it appears T3 is the preferred Tier of choice.
I do plan on getting a Wiki page up sometime. Have faith!

We could only get one match out of Impervious and AFK for today. Hard to set up games because other guilds are also involved in the mix but at least we got some games out of it. I will set up the scores when I upload them probably. If not probably both Impervious and AFK have pictures. *Don't count anything above the regular score.

Wiki News!
After much prodding from Dark-Fantasy, I've gone to the lengths to create a Tournament Wiki page. All the results that you guys post up here will eventually make its way to there. Please also keep posting screenshots! They will eventually all be uploaded to the Wiki as well.
@Gianfri: Sorry! The registration period is closed, but don't be discouraged! I recommend that you a) keep checking this thread in case a guild pulls out of the tournament and a replacement is required and b) that you add some of the IGN Contacts to your friends list in order to get in some Friendly Matches.
@Jimbob: We're already one weekend into the Tournament and only 5/24 individual Lockdown games have been played. Yes best 2 out of 3 makes more sense and perhaps that will be instituted for the Knockout stages but in an effort to get some momentum in the tournament I went with only 2 games to a match to start.

Awesome Tier 1 Lockdown Score
Had a really good game playing random T1 LD.(Not a tournament game) We were about to lose, it was 400-200 when I said 'screw it' and broke off to try to solo lonely points.
Well, I drained point 1 and saw there was still a fight for our home point, 3 so I went up to 2 which had been blank for this stretch. Strangely it was deserted with no color one way or the other. (Had been both ways already) I soloed it up, picking up two defends and my team held 3. Then we all met up to steamroll the whole rest of the match without letting them get a single point!
Score is 9 captures, 3 defends and 1623 damage for Tier 1!

Revelation beat us, and it confirms Dark-Fantasy's statement. This is only game 1. You know. We should do what the UEFA Champions League Does. Just count this match as a loss, and let Impervious and Revelation have a 1-1 record because they beat each other once. It'll eventually be 6 games anyway.

@Tipiak: Good question! I have seen Alberio and Becs of Clockwork Renegades online numerous times, as well as Sir-Didymous from Dominance, and Sjach from Knights of Equestria. I would like to have all the guilds, Pool A and Pool B please chime back in on this thread.

Pool A Inactivity
Hey guys, I sort of figured we may have this situation where some teams would sign up but not show up. However, I really didn't think it would be the majority of a whole pool. As far as I am aware, DOMINANCE is the only active and communicative Guild in Pool A (@Sir-Didymus: The problem is clearly not you).
We have 2 options right now:
1) Scrap Pool A entirely.
2) Extend the Pool match schedule, get some replacement Guilds in and finish the Round Robin portion before moving on to the knockout stages.
3) Meld the Pools together.
Clearly A F K and Revelation are interested in reforming Pool A and unless I hear differently from Dominance, Impervious and The Risen...
I have contacted Njthug from Echo of Silence to test their interest. I've been told he'll get back to me.

If we were to replace Hunter X Hunter with Valkyre Knights and find a replacement for Dominance I think the pool will work. I attempted to field a team last night and couldn’t pay our membership to participate. The majority of our veteran players are in Australia/SE Asia so the ideal times to play (~8 eastern US) will not work for us.
I have been in contact with Rebecca and feel she would be more able to field a team.

Fixing a Lack of Communication
@Becs: I prefaced my statement of Dominance being the most active guild with "as far as I am aware" for a reason. Sir-Didymus has been more active on the boards than you, and has taken more effort to communicate with me in game when he sees me. How would I know that Asthix is a member of Clockwork Renegades? From my point of view, I have received very little communication from you, but that could just be because of Ships Passing in the Night and more coincedence than anything else. If you feel like you are active enough for the tournament then I would be very very happy to keep you in it.
You say you have been in communication with Sir-Didymus regularly, out of curiousity (in case I need to replace another team) how would you say your communcation has been with Knights of Equestria? (I would ask about HxH but they are clearly backing out).
@Becs: Hopefully, if you would still like to participate, could you please repost with those 4 items detailed on Post #92 of this thread?
@Craftocius: It looks like you may not match up very well with Clockwork Renegades, but that's only one other guild, I would like to see what other Pool A guilds consider their 'peak' times before declaring that your availability is not good.

Hey Lhykos you should batch the games in the span of 1-2 hours on the weekend back-to-back. All these sporadic times is too slow and very unappealing for a lot of guilds. I know with the current model my guild won't be participating along with many others i know of. Too much of a hassle to schedule time slots throughout the month. If it was a condensed weekly occurrence that would equate to 52 tournaments a year, more then enough games to encourage all guilds to participate at some point in time. I'm even willing to potentially donate crowns for 1st, 2nd , and 3rd place winners to have a better showing. Overall I think this is the most time-efficient for active and non-active players alike.
First and Foremost congratulations and a big thank you to AFK and The Risen for competing in the inaugural Tournament Match!
@Velcro & Mightyputty: Thank you SO much for posting Screenshots, could everyone else please follow their lead. I need these screenshots for compiling Team and Player statistics.
@Tipiak & Velcro: Your assessment of 900 and 500 point games is a good one. I will update the match rules to alter the scores from basic points to percentages. This is not a perfect system by any means, but it is much more fair system than the previous one. Percentages will always be rounded down to the nearest integer. Winners who 'tick over' the end score will only be credited with 100%.
@Dark-Fantasy: I'm really sorry to hear that one of your members left the guild. The purpose of this tournament is less about getting bragging rights over your competitors than it is to find other guilds that you can compete against for fun. If your members do not find it fun then perhaps the Tournament isn't for you. I wouldn't worry about it being a slow day however, there is plenty of time left in the Tournament to adjust, play some friendly matches against the other Guilds and find the right 1* equipment.
Due to this adjustment in rules, I would ask that "The Risen" allow "AFK" and "Revelation" to participate in a 2nd half match should they be up for it. I would also like to point out that if the match is not planned (i.e. you just "happened" to face a different team because of the queue system) then it should not count.
As an extra piece of advice, before your guild plunges headlong into a match, make sure they are outfitted to the best of their ability.
1* items for Tier 1
3* items for Tier 2
5* items for Tier 3 (if you're super rich o_O)
