September Fanfic Contest: Redux (now extended through Nov.)

After reading the many rants/complaints/disappointments on the September edition of Zettalux's Fanfiction thing, I have decided to host my own fanfiction contest, open NOT ONLY to those who participated in Zetta's contest, but also to any other writers out there!
The rules are the same as in Zettalux's contests, and I'm sorry to say the prizes will be much, much lamer, but I'd at least like to give you people some satisfaction =D
Anyways, the deadline will be Oct. 31, two Mondays from now, and please note that the submissions made in Zettalux's contest MAY be re-used in this contest! Thanks everyone.

UPDATE: Due to requests, I am now listing the prizes (subject to change, considering my large amount of ragecrafting)
I haven't decided what to give out to what place, but here's what I have so far:
Calibur Fiend MED, Calibur Construct HIGH, Calibur Undead MED, Wolver Coat Freeze MED, and Calibur CTR Low.

Also, the minimum amount of entries is 3, and I will add on additional prizes (runners up, etc.) depending on the total entries recieved.
As requested, here are the rules. I and some of my friends (names will not be given) will judge the submitted fics.
Here are rules that must be followed when writing your fanfics:
Nothing innapprioriate, keep it enjoyable to read (grimdark doesn't have to be senseless violence)
Must be minimum 1500 words! Maximum is your go, but don't make it unecessarily long! (anyone can write a 1500 or 15 000 word story; it just depends on the skills of the writer to make those words count)
It MUST be your own work - plagarism will result in the disqualification of the user (and many rotton tomatoes will be thrown)
Limited one submission per user
Remember that whatever state your story is in when you submit it, it will be considered the "final product." Re-submissions are allowed up until the deadline date, but re-submitting will null out your previous.
Don't write your submissions in this thread - provide an external link to your work such as your own thread, Fanfiction, Google Docs or Deviant Art
Upon submission, I will copy the story into a Google Doc in case the original source is lost
All submissions will be noted in the 'Submissions' list down below
Upon submission, post your link to the story in this thread along with your in-game name you want to go by
Deadline: 12 AM EST @ Monday October 31
You can contact me either by posting in this thread, or contacting me in-game as Tayath
Your story can be on anything - just remember that it has to be related to Spiral Knights

I am excited that you are opening a fanfic contest. Thank you. But I have two suggestions:
(A) Don't use Zetta-Lux's name. You are not Zetta-Lux, and that name is somewhat tarnished now. Edit that out.
(B) I agree with Scarred-Knight, that you should clearly post the rules and prizes. For example, is there a minimum number of entries, for the contest to run?

EDIT: I don't mind too much about the prizes. I'm more interested in comparing my writing to others to see how good it is. Not a 'mines better than yous!' 'Nuh-uh!' 'Ya-huh!' 'Nuh-' You get it. Prizes are just a bonus, IF I win, that is.

Day 3: Elevator still stuck
Day 3: Elevator still stuck for unknown reason. Mist energy supplies still not working, and was forced to eat Jelly shield to avoid starvation. Note: Jelly shield is in fact very tasty. Heard scuttling sound earlier, but never came back... don't wanna know what it was. Comms to Spiral HQ still down, trying to figure out how to boost power.
Day 4: Ate rest of Jelly Shield. Got bored, and developed new sport based on rivet counting. Current record is 34. Thought elevator moved... turns out it was just my foot falling asleep.
Gonna stop because this is getting kind of depressing....

Its only been 10 days and you have 6 submissions now, that doesn't seem too bad. I didn't even know this existed until I saw a message in my inbox from someone here who was nice enough to inform me of this. You should probably ayto0enter everyone who was entered in Zetta Lux's contest. I might put in my own entry but I can tell you right now it'd be long as heck, like novel sized or short story sized (35-50k words or ~15k words respectively) which I don't think you'd want. Can you tell I like to write? If anyone really wants me to (for reasons concerning the life of the contest) I can attempt to write a much shorter piece but hopefully, since only 3 entries are needed, I won't need to attempt that one. BTW your prizes don't suck, they're nice items to have, its not like you're forced to give free stuff away anyway. If you'd like I can read each entry as well and see if they're any deserving of an extra prize that I could give out. I really love literature so it wouldn't be much of a loss to me, plus I've got money anyway. I agree! There has been a surprisingly large amount of entries, and @Prisega, there is no limit to words. I know for a fact that Xairathan messaged me in-game about a month's absence due to something called a NaNoWriMo (see Nanowrimo.org, idk >.>) so 50k words isn't that bad... I think XD

I think I decided against writing my own entry as I haven't an idea of something I could write that would be small and I don't have time to constantly pump out words... After much reading, a detention for reading in class, and more reading in detention, I have finally decided our 3 winners.
In first, with a very creepy story that almost gave me Knightmares: Xairathan, with "Just a Bad Dream"
In second with a strangely long and yet brilliantly written entry, Lordofnecromancers with "Threat of the Vealox"
and in third, a single knight wins with just one entry, Psychodestroyer with "One is all it takes"

Are you having problems with your computer or something? It's been about... a month? Since you announced the winners, and we still haven't recieved our prizes. I'd love to help you any way I can, because I'm a nice guy (and I want my prizes. XP).

Not to be a downer or anything, but would you be so kind as to post what exactly the prizes will be. I want an actual goal to have before I submit my storyline.
In addition, I'd like to know who will be judging this, will it be you, or will it be someone else? Knowing who is reading my paper will give me some idea as to what I should do with my storyline.
Finally, if you would be so kind as to repost past rules from Zettalux's contest as well as update frequently, so that we know you are actually serious about this contest.
Should this information be filled out, you have my storyline as a submission, until then, I'm holding onto it.
