There sure are alot of Lockdown guilds this days. Though I hope they read the caution sign. I never joined a Lockdown guild because I know they barely survive.

My guild was created about a week ago. We'll see in a year who's laughing.

Its a Shame your all mainly mentioning only LD BN and PvM Guilds

There are alot of other smaller guilds that do other things, Some host Parties, Some work on the Arcade Changing, Some help new players, Why are not many of these mentioned?

I get it these are all famous for being Fighters, and all that shiz, but why won't someone mention a not based around only Fighting Guild? =P

Never said I was against LD/BN/Fighting guilds, this is a list of OVERALL

My mainly I mean you we're all mentioning just those for the most party these are a Mixture, didn't see many of those

The Night's Watch.
Don't see this on very many peoples lists. A great guild full of great people. Perronious is just a stand up dude and has attracted and recruited almost exclusively cool people. There is an honesty and integrity streak that runs through nearly the whole cast. I would recommend this guild to anyone, but would only recommend close friends to it. (in other words, unless you meet the high standards i see in its members i'd not recommend you to good old perro.) When i see a member of The Nights Watch i consider them a friend even if i've never met them before, and thats more than i can say for my own guild. They aren't the most skilled guild with amazing APM or LD gear and an insatiable desire to dominate (or lie about dominating) their competition. But they are one of the best guilds on the game. (i feel most of the 'non-elitist' guilds fail to get mentioned in this thread).

The Big three: Unity, EoS, Jempire.
These are the "Big Three," imo. Not the "Best Three," though they are three of the best. Just like TNW mentioned above, their are hundreds of guilds that are smaller in nature, or more niche in function, that are great and often overlooked. But if we are talking by name recognition and sheer force of presence (as well as being mainstays and great guilds too boot) no list is complete without these three.

I'll not break down the 3 in depth, as my own personal bias would affect my write up of them. Instead i'll give a superficial definition of them each:
Jempire: wealthy lockdown elitists.
EoS: wealthy immature elitists
Unity: semi-wealthy, semi-elitists

Jempire is the best lockdown guild on the game, comprised of home-grown and nurtured talent. (there may have been better LD guilds that pop up have their time in the sun and the fade away, such as finesse, etc... i don't really know for sure).

EoS is now going into lockdown pretty full-bore, and acquiring talent from outside sources to close the gap with jempire, as well as their own member improving in ability.

Unity is probably the pre-eminent PvE guild in the game, which very well could be the reason its perceived to be on the decline. The lack of new content is pitiful, thus -i suppose- a PvE guild is by definition on the decline, as this VERY GAME is on the decline and thus so are those who play it. Whereas LD, for now, can serve as a bit of a stand alone. It is holding steady, or declining less rapidly, than the rest of the game. Unity dabbles in LD, but not a real contender.

I don't use elitist as a bad word. I consider myself an elitist as well. Striving to be elite is one of the factors that keeps us around in a game as shallow as SK.

1. Echo of Silence - Nice players, active players, lots of PvP, lots of PvE. Overall just a great guild.

2. Unity - Nice and active players. Does well in PvP and PvE. Although recent decline puts it at No. 2.

3. Climax - Good new guild. So many nice people there. Very good at PvP and PvE

4. Dark Guardians - One of the best guilds I've been in, lots of activity, great people there, and a decent LD team. Sadly, this guild is declining.

5. Brothers of Eternity - These guys are some of the most hard working people out there. Autofire manages to rack up some serious moneyz to pay for upkeep AND post great stuff on the forums.

6. The Jempire - One of the best guilds in the game, but there are a lot of cocky people there. :/

7. Blue Storm - Very nice guild that is on the rise. Don't have much to say, but their peoples look like bosses.

8. Fabulous - This is a very elite guild, very high standards and everyone is REQUIRED to look awesome. Unfortunately, I think this guild is dead. :(

9. Brmc - The best PvE guild out there. Not much else to say. :/

10. Brick Squad - Not much to say about these guys, but they have a very good T2 LD team. I think they're the only guild to specialize in T2 LD.

About TNW, it's partially due to the filters set up for guild invites, and that it's mostly an older adult crowd. If you say please as plizzzz and oh as o, or brag or invite spam, that usually means you won't make the cut.

I can't list 10, but I have alot of respect for the following guilds:

Impervious
Unity
Ultra
Dark Guardians
Brick Squad (Best T2 guild in the game, should be tied with Jempire for top PvP guild)
The Jempire (Despite what people say about them I appreciate the fact that they are always ready to play us)

I would mention Blue Storm...but I have officer bias.
