You have to understand that there is a difference between 3 little battles in LD and 3 big games in LD. An example?
Exiled beats Kattamoon all three times in 1v1 < Kattamoon scoring 10 caps, 10 defends and 20k damage while Exiled scores 35k and 0 caps and defends. [This is just an example, no disrespect to either of you.]
If you think damage is the big thing in LD, you are more than mistaken, 1v1 is different than 4v4,5v5,6v6. Why? Because Lockdown was based on a capture point game where you fight together! This game isn't about proving you can kill 1 player 1v1, although if you do want it, I suggest you go to the suggestion thread and tell them to put in an option to 1v1.

Certain Elitists, AT haters and the kind take this crud seriously...
You do know that the damage isn't really a huge thing to compare since it is greatly dependent on things outside of your control:
- length of game
- how well/poorly your enemies play / what role they play
- how well/poorly your teammates play
Ideally, you want your teammates to suck enough that you are the big damage dealer on your team (or they are not in that role of doing damage) and your teammates suck enough that you can dodge all their hits and you can get some quick kills in. Bonus points if they bunch a lot and you can hit them all at once by a ff/gf.
So comparing two people based off their highest damage is kinda unfair; or, saying Kattamoon is not as good as exileddread due to lower max damage is unfair. Really, it'll come down to play style, strategy, reaction time and, unfortunately, latency. Of course, this is to be determined in a few days.
Best of 5 is a bit small. I think first to 9 is a good indicator to conclude whether someone is better than the other at the time, since you can adapt to your opponent after a little while (and adjust for latency.)

Hardly. He quit this game and he's fighting you with 3 days of practice after I dragged him back from 4 months of downtime.
You have no room to complain because you brought it on yourself. I almost jumped in on that Vanaduke video you posted on the forums, but held back and ignored you. Reflect on some of the things you've said.

To clarify for ppl who are having trouble understanding Kattamoon (and assuming I am reading this right) she is essentially claiming that she (and many others at her level) can fight toe-to-toe with anyone else, including exiledread. No one clearly stands above the rest.
What this means is that unless exileddread completely sweeps kattamoon, then it's his loss. If he loses to her a few times, then she's proven she can kill him. She doesn't have to tie him or anything, just prove that he isn't untouchable.

Lets be honest, in any MMORPG game out there, with PvP on it, You want the best gear, the best PC and the best connection to win.
Its like having 1bar always or a terrible PC, and then playing lockdown. If you are gona complain about that then dont play. Simple as that.
If you are gona play against the BEST players, you better have the PC, the gear and the connection to have the best results, you are not gona play in a ESEA finals match of counter strike with 200Ping - 15FPS because you are gona get destroyed. If you are playing with the pros, its because you have all the requirments to win including your gear (PC and connection)

I'm with one bar latency, and I must admit, I thought of if I get full of 4 bars latency, how enjoyable of every match will be.
I got used to this kind of ping I have, as I live in south east asia, and I've tried to do my best and kill, and not everytime a single sword crossing can be always successful. I really think that if people had decent connection, they should be able to do well too. It's not about latency, it's about skills and how ye manipulate it.
Exileddread, I know I've fought ye before, it is way a lot of skills and ye're hard to kill. I don't say that ye're impossible, just barely possible to kill.
