Not true sypsy, grouping with teammates seems to be the last thing a gunner will do (besides scoring a defend), but they save lives believe it or not. Whether it be a polaris wall to prevent them from coming in from one side or cancelling the attacks of a guardian, gunners can be real team players. They especially help in ramparts, when they shoot the switches to move freely from 1 to 4.

I think the best players depend on your relative latency when compared to theirs, since my list is far different in than the one above. I have never seen anyone get over 30k in a game that I am in, and rarely do I see over 25k, even with exiled, nexzon, etc. I say bump chris and nexzon down and move thengel and jacdsfwer up, then add pakuun to it, and you got a good list. Even then no way is there a large skill gap between the lists (those guys can't "pwn everyone on the other list"), just a matter of lag/latency/connection to internet and OOO that second. the game really isnt skill based tbh.

Not the first time it's been said...
Anyone who puts their own name on the pro list most likely isn't pro.
Anyone who actually is pro, shouldn't need to put their own name on their list.
Also, Ruby just rage-revives. He gets to play like 3 minutes more than anyone else in the game, so he has an advantage, and puts up irregularly large numbers because of it. Sure, he's good, but when someone else is better he still wins.

Completely disagree. You are not a credit to a team if you don't cap. CE rev in GvG, i can pass that. CE rev in random, it's pointless and shows you are a sore loser unless you are using mist then i can understand. I don't see people who spam three combos a top contender. Good players with asi vh knows how to use the cursor well and shield cancel to get away from counter attacks. Just saying.

I use both mist and CE that I bought with crowns. I see no harm in CE reviving. I don't know who you have me confused with. I don't spam 3 combos...lol. & I know how to shield cancel. So...yeah. I don't cap because I'm not there to win, as I stated in post #361. If i'm not there to win, than I clearly don't care if I win or lose. I don't see how you got sore loser from that.

For those that think they are good because they do high damages in random...please. It's easy to get high damages if most of the players are sub par in equipment. If you really want see how well you are compared to other good players, do it in GvG wherein it is assured that at least 5 out of 6 opponents can take you down 1 on 1. If you do well, bravo.

Exile - was the first LD player i respected.
Canozo - He and I have around the same average on normal games
Sciaz - I don't remember much about him but i remember he wasn't an easy target.
Bobxloblaw - He's just good at the game lol.
Saidxp - Complains alot, but a good gunner overall.
Blueflood - Good gunner imo

most people who get the highest damages, and stuff play ALOT. like Saidxp :) I was playing like 5 games in a row against him but he amazed me. I'm a skolver striker, he's a gunner. and yet he got about the same damage as me (15k) every game, and I believe he got more captures and defends. so I gotta say blueflood, Saidxp and Br-girl are the best gunners I've seen.

To all the gunners out there: Keep doing what you do. Though you may not get top damage, as Inflatos said, it's all about consuming time.
If you can take the top player on the other team out for half a minute or longer, even if you die, you just gave your team a huge advantage.
45 seconds is a loooong time in LD.

they use an aginta class wepon bombers are my problem sword men well ask the guys I owned at reactor area 1 in LD I held it for 4 min with out dieing and killed people 1-5 times each note NO ONE HAD SEALED SWORD LINE

Nope.
In my opinion, the best Lockdown players are the ones that don't use the Wolver armor, Toothpicks or the Kilowatt Pulsar.
Skill doesn't rely on abusing the range of the Snarble Barb/Flourish(Which is comparable to that of the Troika) or spamming Pulsar rounds.

I started using a snarble barb 2* in T2...
First game was 6k damage. Most caps (9), most defends (2).
Second game was (against noobs *cough*) 10k damage. Again, most caps (3), most defends (1) (again, was against noobs who didn't know how their equips worked..).
I regularly spam shards and stick to the more hipster LD weapons... but when I don't. WATCH YOUR TAIL CLONE!
This is coming to you from a Shock vapo/ Sealed sword wielding Recon in t2. And no... I won't be bringing toothpicks into my playset again.
However, I will be wearing a certain scale helm and some wolver suit. Since my shards have taken an upgrade to the 3rd tier.
