Chapter Twenty Fove /o/ A Penny for your Thoughts

(Arus Narrative) (play 1 for the whole time)
"Bored?" Talon yawned, leaning casually on her bed.
"Very," I answered, yawning as well.
"Hey Talon, there's still that crystal YOU broke," Rya handed her a dustpan filled with shimmering somethings.
"Ok, now turn around," Talon snapped at me. I didnt want to make the same mistake again, so I turned around, and smooshed a pillow against my face. The familiar odor of stillnotbeingwashed filled my nostrils, before I heard what sounded like a magical chant, light brewing from behind me. I turned around, for Talon to hold a newly refined orb in her hands.
"Show me how to do that," I touched the orb, polished and smoother than before. Well, at least before she broke it.
"Wait, oh, Vee needs to see us," Rya shot a glance at the clock on the wall.
"Vee? From like.. 3 years ago?" I remembered.
"Yep, cmon," Rya made her way to the doorway.
"I though we're NOT supposed to go outside," I added, the swarm starting to make weird "OOH" sounds outside.
"Exactly," And with that, Rya pulled the door open, for a bright light to spew out from it. I closed my eyes, and felt the environment around me change.

(Burp Narrative)
I winced(?) as the light glowed brighter and brighter, and before long, I was standing in the middle of a lavish and deep red room. I glanced around, and everyone else was here too.
"Where are we..." I heard Mystic grunt, rubbing his head from impact(?). It felt a little drafty in the room, a torch or two were placed on the walls and burned with an orange-yellow light. It was warm, but breezy at the same time.
"I guess it is time to meet again.." A loud, but medium-high pitched voice echoed into the area.
"Vee?" Evan immeadiatly got up from his feet, and stood upright in the middle of the area.
"We meet again.." "Vee" answered, I saw Wedge have the exact same expression, before there was another splash of light in the other side of the room.

(Vee Narrative)
I smiled with an unseen grin as the light gave away to Arus, Talon, and Rya on the other side of the room, greeted by the calls from the rest of them.
"Arus?" Amber suddenly backed away, reaching for her sword.
"Tell us something only Arus would say.." Dusk stepped up, optimism dense in his eyes.
"Mystic, I took your cookies while you weren't looking, and Chuck, I read your diary, you really shouldn't be looking at-" I laughed unknowingly to the others, as Chuck threw his spear at Arus, missing by the length of a hair.
"Well well, we mustn't be causing any trouble now, should we?" I said to everyone, as I lowered to the middle of the room, and materialized a chair in the middle of it.
"Vee, why are we here?" Wedge immeadiately snapped, his hood covering his facial features.
"Because, there is a traitor amongst you," I spoke, knowing very well who it was the moment I saw it.
"Who?" Amber shot a glance at Wedge.
"It's... GENOME!," Wedge immeadiately pointed to Genome, who was casually sitting near a wall, brandishing his CIV.
"What?" He asked, confused.

Chapter 26 /•/ Under the Hood

~Void Narrative

I immediately lunged forward at the ethereal being in the chair, charging up the energy in my hand and blasting her unconscious.
"Who's up next?"I roared, before Dusk tackled me to the side. I shifted into a Knightmare and threw him off. I suddenly felt a surge of ethereal energy warp into the room, and looked behind me to find Vog, the almighty standing in front of me.
"Begone," He threw his hand forward, and blasted me backwards with a charged orb of energy. I retaliated, summoning some Void to help me.
Shade turned into a Wolver and was almost about to bite, when Vog thrusted him backwards.
"Don't get caught in this too, stay out!" Vog shouted, then redirecting his energy to form a blazing barrier around us.
"Heh, do it your way," I sneered, allowing the swarm to crawl up my hand.
"We shall see.."  Vog materialized an FOV into his hand.

~Sir Shade
These are two equal forces decking out.. His is gonna be interesting.. I thought for a moment, then turning back into a knight. 
"Wait...." Chuck sneered, then suddenly Vee came out from nowhere.
"Well? Your ethereal, can you break the barrier?" Chuck growled, brandishing his pike.
"She can't, and neither can I," Arus sighed, and took a uneasy seat on the wall.
"Oh, Arus.." Wedge scrambled in his bag for a couple seconds, and took out a sword that had a gun attached to it, red, and I could feel the heat brimming from it's blade.
"Where'd you get that?" Arus seized it in his hands.
"Her," Wedge then pointed to the figure sitting in midair.
"Geez, confident, are you," Wedge facepalmed.

~Vog Narrative
The Swarm shot out a blade of Void, black and brimming with darkness. I sidestepped and slashed straight through the main body, the two halves sliding then falling in opposing directions.
"Ha.." I roared victorious, then saw the Swarm starting to move. I backed away when I saw the two halves floating together, and mashed to reform itself.
"Aha.."

~Fang Narrative

"You have a CRUSH ON ME?!" I shouted at Kozma.
"No.." She blushed, setting aside her diary.
"Uh... Fang.." Kozma got to her feet, and grabbed a box of tissues.
"Your nose is bleeding," She handed a couple over, in which I only stared at her.
"What? Do I have something on my face?" She rubbed her unseen face with her gloves, then looked at me again with those... beautiful eyes..

*POW*

Next thing I remember, I'm laying on the floor, struck by a hardcover book.
"Sheesh.. so I do have a crush on you.. so what?" Kozma shrugged.
"Not like FERON knows.." I rose to my height, looking at Kozma with a dumbfounded look.
"Yes I do," I heard a nerve snapping voice, and looked behind me to see Feron, a voice recorder in his hands.
"Holy crap.." Kozma blushed embarrassingly.
"Feron you SONOFA-" I reached for him, when I felt the door smack my face with the force of a tidal wave.
Then I blacked out.

Chapter 26 |•| Pyromaniac

 ~Acquaintance from Burp

 "You guys need to get out while you still can! " Vog shouted to us, as he got smacked to the side by a large arm.
"But-" Vee stammered.
"SHUT UP AND GO!" Vog yelled, before he was pinned to the ground by the swarm, then raising his hand to create a portal on the side of the room. 
"C'mon, he'll hold them off," Arus waved to us, before stepping quickly through it.
Dusk sighed deeply, before everyone followed. I was the last to go, and turned back to see the swarm raising a "hand" above Vog.
"Sorry to say, your time is up, " The Swarm turned its hand into a razor sharp blade. IN only jumped out in time to hear a bloodcurdling scream fill the air. 

~Ether Narrative

Burp finally jumped out of the portal to knock Amber onto Dusk, again. 
"Watch it," Dusk growled, as he finally caught a glimpse of where we were. The  cold air swirled around us like water, shivering us to the bone. I could feel the snowy atmosphere over my head, the snow falling on the ground as gently as the morning mist.
"The Ice-Queen's castle," Wedge yawned.
"It's about time we have a nap," Zooduth yawned loudly. Zooduth proceeded to throw an Ash of Agni onto the ground, and melted most of the snow. I floated down to touch the exposed dirt. It was warm, like freshly baked something.
"Mote?" Arus looked towards him, to find him already setting heaters around the camp.
"Already on it," He yawned, taking out a couple metal poles and sticking them together with a Plasma Lance. (It is a torch, not a sword) I saw something in the horizon, and floated upwards a bit more. There was lots of it, blue and jiggling like a.. JELLY!
"Ice Cubes incoming, Swarm intact and 3 giant lichen colonies!" I shouted to everyone below, who then quickly tabbed whatever they had for battle, except for Mote.
"We'll cover you, get the monster/swarm force field fixed!" Evan immediately hopped on a random pile of rubble, and stuck out 2 Iron Slugs.
"My my, you have gotten better while I was gone," Arus looked up to him, who nodded smugly.
"Knock 'em back!" Falcon was already ahead of us, throwing a flaming fist forward to blow one into droplets. I floated upwards, blue, white, and many other colors were smashed together like screwed up paint. 

~Dove Narrative

I was about to bite into one when a like pierced it like water, I looked up to see Chuck smiling smugly. I growled at him, before he floated away, followed by Bloodless and Ether. Shade ran past me on all fours, leaping upwards to pounce on a Lichen Colony. I looked to where Alex was standing, to see his sword turn from golden/purple to a black obsidian. I looked at his eyes, and it told me it all.
He was possessed. Arus landed a flaming strike on an enemy to send it into 5 others, all of them disappearing like it was nothing at all. I saw Alex come closer to me, I dashed backwards to avoid a devastating slash leave the air before it in mangles.
"Hah!" Genome came out from nowhere and slashed straight through Alex, leaving him on the ground. 
"Crap.." Genome panted, as Anti-Alex soon recovered from the blow.
"I don't think I can take much more of this.." I panted even heavier.

~Acquaintance from Brinks

The lights in my house finally gave out, I scrambled around for my Force Dynamo, and plugged it into the wall.
"Brinks, you got 'em problems too?" Kozma stuck her head from my roof doorway.
"All day," I sighed.
Suddenly, a loud siren blared through the dorm, and I looked outside to see the blue force field to away.
"Crap!" Feron raced by, and opened the door, running outside.
"The Swarm's here! EVERYONE RU-" A voice outside was drowned out by the sound of a slash, I looked at Kozma, who gave me a weirded look.

Chapter 27 /\/ Faith in Love (Ncp's Only.. For now)

~Fang Narrative

"Get to the force field! There's something screwed up!" The siren blared across Haven, as knights and monsters alike rushed to battle the swarm on the outskirts.
"Fang!" Kozma shouted, I turned to see her running out of the threshold.
"C'mon," I grabbed her hand, rushing past explosions and gunshots that littered the area with sound waves. Screams and muffled yells left once empty and dark homes alive with action. I saw a Swarm Lumber about to smash a knight's head into dust, when with quick thinking I cleaved right through it's midsection. I continued running to the building where Mote created the device, finally seeing it from 2 miles away.
"Kozma," I panted her name out, the dust from other explosions whirled around us like wind. I took her hand and held it closer to mine, she blushed shyly.
"This won't be the last time I see you," She smiled, before I felt a large hand grab my back.
"Brinks?" Kozma looked at him, his Heavy Plate Helm covered most of his facial features.
"Need some backup?" He unsheathed his oversized Sudaraska, the raw power crackling from small bolts of energy.
"All of it we need," Kozma sensed something behind her, and threw a Master Blast Bomb into a pile of swarm.
"In that case, I'll come too," Cort came out from nowhere, followed by another.
"Bechamel!" Brinks laughed.
"No need for thanking, we gonna go there or not?" Bechamel brandished his Scissor Blades in a menacing manner.
"We're all set.. I guess.." Kozma smiled.
"Missing someone?" I looked behind me to see Feron standing over me like a baws. (Yes, baws)
"Come ON!" Cort was already mashing the doorway into pulp with his Ascended Calibur.
Kozma went in, followed by Feron, Brinks, Bechamel, and Cort. I followed in afterwards, grabbing my Graviton Vortex and throwing it outside. A swirl-ish sound made me smile as I could feel it's power from a story high. Then, an explosion.

~Acquaintance from Durr (Warning, Simplified to Maximum simplification if the simplest form of simple)

I send lazer into enemy. Enemy go boom. I see Alex with red eyes. Alex possessed. I shot lazer at him, he exploded. Alex fell. Swarm finally went away. I see orb on his back. Orb get eaten by swarm. Alex lose soul. Arus yell at me. He yell, "OHMYGODDUDERUNTHERESSOMEHINGAFTERYOU!" I turn to see huge Lichen Colony.

Music Tester Chapter /-/ FEEL THE BEAT

What you are about to read is fictional, any relation to any characters in the main story is purely by luck. In a different time, in a different place, this like, totally happened.

(Alex Narrative) (PLAY, Rample Rouser)

I ran past darkened doorways in the haunted manor, the screams of the wraiths behind me made my nerves stand on end. 
"Crap.. Where ARE they?" I growled to myself, as I dodged a claw swipe from a Wraith that got too close. I turned around quickly to smash Lachesis into it's head, automatically disintegrating it into a fine ethereal powder. Some yells ahead of me that sounded like a drunk Trojan made me run even faster. Suddenly, as if by luck, a Wraith finally got hold of my leg. I fell face-first to the ground and looked at the wraiths behind me, their faces blank.
"Alex?" I heard Avenger's voice in my head.
"Shush, he's about to die," A quirky and mischievous voice rang in my head.
"Faust, not helping," I growled at him, before I saw a large figure stand in front of me, silhouetted by the candlelight.
"Crap!" I yelled, before I closed me eyes so I didn't see it coming. (Stop)

(Mystic Narrative) (Play Vim and Vigor)
"Crap!" Alex yelled, as he closed his eyes.
"What?" I shrugged, looking around if there was anything that scared him. I suddenly caught a glimpse of churning blackness at his feet, wraiths.
"Keep 'em closed," I growled lightly, smashing one right into the  carpet. I grabbed Alex and swung the remaining Wraiths right off of him. When they were gone, I turned back into a knight and put him against a wall.
"Wake up," I grinned. (STOP, and play, Fearful Experience)
His eyes didn't budge, so I slapped the top of his head. He finally woke up with a jolt.
"Yeesh, I thought you were HIM, for a second," Alex whipped the sweat from his forehead. 
"Him?" I wondered for a moment,
"The spirit that eats the souls and bodies of all who enter this area," He finished the description, with a slight shiver. Suddenly, I heard some growling behind me, and looked into the dark hallway.
There was something there.
Red eyed.
Huge.
Glistening fangs.
Charging straight at us.
Mouth open.

Chapter 29 /|/ Almost There..

(Necro Narration, PLAY, The Courier )
I skid backwards skillfully as I slayed the last Lichen Colony, bits of it flying everywhere. I wiped some of the gooey something off of my face, and looked at everyone else.
"Finished!" Mote yelled with glee, then suddenly there was a bright flash, followed by a small explosion, then smoke coming from in front of him.
"Darnit darnit darnit," He cursed under his breath, then fired up his Plasma Lance once again, then put on he facemask when he suddenly bumped into a box of something, and an odd shield-like item dropped out of it. Amber, being the first one to see it picked it up with a quick dash. She inspected the item from a couple directions, and discovered a small button on the side. 

(Sir-Shade Narrative) (KEEP ON PLAYING )
I swatted a small Silkwing, then proceeded to start building my tent. I took out the heavy-as-heck bag of tent parts and cloth, then took out some stakes. I brought up my Sword, turning it on it's side to drive the stake into the cold ground. I finished with the other three and pitched up the tent skeleton. Gently, I laid the cloth and whatnot over the Skeleton and secured it with ropes. I was just about to go inside when a Fire-Pot struck my back. I immediately flopped onto the snow to extinguish the flames.
"What the Vog was that?!" I yelled, then turning to see Amber with a strange pot-esque shield.( STOP PLAYING, "The Courier") 

(Bechamel Narrative) ( PLAY, SHADOW SLICK )

I sliced a Void lumber in half, then threw forward a Bomb Bandolier at the scattered foes, to my delight they exploded with a debilitating rage. I walked forward and connected the wires the swarm was sleeping on, reconnecting the electrical wiring together. I heard some growling behind me, and faxed a platoon of Void Wolver's, each of their eyes pink and transfixed with anger. I ducked for a moment for a quick slash of air slice their hides into wolver-chops. (Sorry Doggies, had to use that pun) 
"Watch your back," Feron signaled with his fingers forward, pointing to a bubbling mass in the corner. I moved carefully, arming myself readily with my Scissor blades.
Then, boom. (STOP)

Chapter Thirty /|/ The Edge of Insanity

(Tony Narrative) (Play, Fearful Experience)
I curled up in a small ball, Dove right next to me. In the small tent that Genome set up. 
"Mmf?" I felt an odd occurrence outside, as I saw a number of lights through the tent fabric. Each one moving in rapid patterns. I nudged Dove awake, she too saw the lights.
"Should we wake up the others?" She whispered softly.
"Better not," I pushed aside the tent covers and grabbed my armor. Dove followed closely by, as we snuck out of the tent. The blue aura of the force field was a safe sign, but we turned to look at where the lights were coming from. I walked past the shield generator and continued onto the edge of the dome.

(Shade Narrative) ( KEEP PLAYING )

I heard the growl-ish whispers coming from outside, as I readied my sword. I saw the silhouettes of Tony and Dove as they walked outside. I was just about to get them when I felt a tug on my arm.
"Zooduth?" I immediately recognized his face in the dark, a Gremlin's silhouette followed by a shorter and taller one.
"We're coming, nevertheless," I heard Falcon say, before he lit his hand, a warm amber glow danced around the room, like a haunting ghost that hungered for light. 
"Meh," I heard Blue shrug, before she hastily walked out of the tent. I follows closely, before Tony's ears perked up. I stood as still as I could, remembering that certain animals only react to movement.

(Evan Narrative) (Check if the music is almost done, reset, and KEEP PLAYING )

"What in blazes?!" I woke up with a sudden start, before grabbing my gun collection.. And stuffed it into my pocket. (I can put 5 Different sets of armor in my pocket, Evan you showoff >_>)  I peered through a small rip in the tent. Zooduth, Blue, and Falcon were standing as still as statues outside. I immediately grabbed my coat and sash, ready if it was an invasion. (Reference?) I snuck out an Iron Slug out into my hand, and armed it. I walked outside, as I felt Tony and Dove's gaze follow onto me.
"What the Vog are you doing?!" I whispered loudly.
"We heard something," Tony whimpered, then turned his face to what was an elevator.
"I don't remember THAT being here.." Zooduth whispered, confused.
"Let's see where it goes," Falcon ran quietly onto the contraption. 
"Ugh," I sighed, then followed along to stand on the metal platform. I looked onto the display panel, and to my surprise, it looked like a Lockdown insignia.
"Krogmo?!" I nearly yelled, before without warning, the  platform fell. I felt the ground underneath my feet give way, and felt myself fall.
"This was YOUR idea," I growled at Falcon, who lazily crossed his arms behind his back.
(STOP PLAYING)

(Swarm Narrative) (PLAY, Memories of the City ) 

"Things are going as planned.. correct?" Hariko grinned towards me.
"That is correct, my lord," I kneeled(?) before him.
"Krogmo has captured Evan, Blue, Falcon, Zooduth, Tony, and Dove," I finished, already have seen then fall down the shaft.
"What about the new units?" He looked at me with a ready look.
"The Blunderbuzzes are under way, and the Sentinels are guarding the fortress," I answered.
"Send 50 Sentinels and 3 Blunderbuzzes onto the remaining members, but only after they have collected the Ice Queen's Echo Stone," Hariko materialized the order on parchment, and floated it towards me.
"As you wish," I bowed before sinking back into the ground.

Blunderbuzzes/
Large, flying dragon-ish monsters that fire shards of Swarm and smaller Void Enemies from it's mouth.

Sentinels/
statue-like enemies that resemble a knight, only with shields on each side. Slow, but one concentrated shot will leave you reeling.
