Episode Thirty Two /•/ Luck and Lies

(Play 1) (Burp Narrative) 
 
Sliding backwards to avoid a spike from a Giant Lichen Colony, I bumped into Dusk.
"If only Mystic was here.." I grunted(?).
I could picture him ramming head first into the Lichen, tearing it to shreds. That was interrupted when Genome and Sir-Shade flashed by, and cleaved it's core into four slices. I rammed into a nearby Ice Cube, and pushed it off the ledge, it screamed(?) somewhat before I heard a *squish* sound.
"All of them are dead," Chuck grinned devilishly, and started towards the Ice Queen's palace.
"Not so fast," I heard a deep growl behind me, and saw Mote. His eyes were red as Torchestone, and a black something was surrounding him in a black mist.
"Crap," Evan groaned. That was before a blinding flash of light, and I felt an Iron Bar sink into one of my sides. The light gave way, and Mote was pushing it inward. I looked at him for a second, then another, and gave him a PWNED face. I spun around with him still holding it, he flew off the bar easily. Andrien and Donovan caught him immediately, and bound his arms behind his back.
"Shoot, how do we do this?" A Gremlin with a hammer asked in a questioning tone.
"Lemme take care of this," A brilliant flash of orange light, and Vee was standing in front of Mote.
"Let me give you a piece of warning from his majesty,"       Mote said in a threatening tone. It was clear to us that he wasn't the one talking, more or less the Swarm controlling him.
"We have stronger forces than any of you do, it's either that Arus and Talon die, or all of you die," The Swarm finished it's sentence, when Vee placed a glowing hand on Mote's chest. An orange light glowed from his chest, and a shiny blue orb with a mass of black spirals around it was pulled out.
"Begone," Vee then threw the object out of the way, as it melted into the ground.(STOP!)

(Vanaduke(!) Narrative) (START, 2 )

"Snarbolax! Incoming!" A Knight shouted, before he was crushed by a Void Lumber. The Snarbolax raced beneath my feet to tackle it, then roared in victory as it tore it into piles of Driftwood and cogs. 
"Lord Vanaduke, sir," A Slag Walker waddled to my side.
"There seems to be an occurrence in the Field Tower," He said meekly, as he twiddled his hands.
"Apologies for the news," He bowed, before breathing a cloud of burning gas at a number of Void Lichens. I started to walk in the direction of the centre of Haven, crushing Swarm, and occasional knights. Blood and screams rushed from every direction, as I made my way to the central building. I saw a black figure battling a Knight on the edge of the building. I raised my mace, but hesitated.
"You stay out of this!" I heard a growl come from behind me, and turning to see the fiery purple eyes of what seemed to be a Black Dragon. I raised my hand in attempt to catch the winged being, but he darted away. I looked closely and saw something riding on it's back. 

(Third Person narrative) (KEEP PLAYING )

The controller gremlin mashed the buttons of the dashboard, and sent several rockets plunging into the Swarm.
"General Fexus, the Ion Lasers are ready, and are waiting for deployment," A meek Darkfang Mender walked into the control room of the Roarmulus Alpha. 
"Alert Roarmulus Beta, we will sync," Fexus shooed him away, and sent a flurry of energy bullets careening into the battlefield. Luckily, with pinpoint accuracy, only the Swarm was damaged. Fexus saw the red light of the Roarmulus Beta as it's tread crushed rubble into smaller somethings of rubble. 
"General Fexus, this is General Vedio, Ion lasers are at 100% charge, standing by for sync," 
"Standby terminated, fire at countdown," Fexus strapped on the momentum restraints.
"Five.." Sweat dripped down Fexus's forehead.
"Four.." Vedio gripped the joystick.
"Three.." They both had their hands hovering above the deployment button.
"Two.." A random snipe was hit by a boulder.
"One!" They both mashed the deployment button at the same time, as a bright green light glowed in the Roarmulus's mouth. Before a loud shriek of energy, and a powerful set of lasers emerged from their mouths. The lasers homer in on the Swaem, and disintegrated it into a fine dust.
"Boom! Headshot!" A random gremlin shouted on the intercom.(STOP!)

Ep. Thirty Three /0/ Someone Give Me a Good Title

(Mote Narrative) (START 1)

Clutching the bandage bound onto my chest, I shivered in the freezing air. 
"Is it done yet?" Everyone said at once, as they all huddled up together to preserve heat.
"For the thirteenth time, NO," I yelled back annoyed. That was finally before I snapped two wires by mistake, and a puff of smoke blew into my face. I coughed a couple times, then the whirring of machinery gave way to a shriek of gears. The field closed around us in a blue aura, as I could feel the scaled-heater kicking into action. 
"FINALLY, I can feel my insides," Alex yelled in pleasure of the warmth. 
"Forget your insides, who's going to cook?!" Genome growled angrily above everyone else. Forget Amber, we don't need food poisoning over the troubles we already have. 
"What about this?" Amber picked up a Mini Green Jelly. 
"NO FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS EDIBLE AND TASTY NO" Everyone immediately shouted, as Amber gave a look of utter disgust and threw the something at an inexplicable tree. (STOP)

(SWARM!!!!) (Play, Basement)

Rushing behind their lines, I melted into a puddle under the knights' feet. I quickly flashed out a number of spikes protruding from myself as knights and monsters hanged in midair, suspended by black barbs piercing their skins. Eating them all in a single bite, a large missile flew past me in an instant, detonating on a nearby building and rocking the area.
"Idiot Scum! Prepare to be vaporized!" The Knight brought out a modified Polaris, just by looking at it, I could tell it was supposed to be a bazooka of some sort. He lowered his aim towards me, and open fired, green bullets spewed forth with angered rage, exploding on me as I felt some of myself fly in different directions.
"Ha!" The Knight laughed, before I regained control to myself, and flooded underneath his feet. I caved upwards to keep him from escaping, and seized away his gun.
"Night night... sleep well.." I slowly let out an unseen grin followed by a laugh, and closed up on him. I heard screams and yells for mercy, then a small 

*SNAP*

sound, and digested the leftovers heartily.
"Foolish knights.." I bellowed out in glory as I moved on to a unsuspecting Roarmulus Twins. (STOP!)

Chapter Thirty Four /-/ Death By Death! ()_()

(Ether Narrative) (START 1)

Hastily evading a blob of icy jelly, I took out a nasty bite out from the Polar Polyp, as it jiggled and shook until it decomposed itself back into Swarm. A loud explosion, followed by what reeked something awful made my nostrils(?) curl.
"What the hell was that?" Talon grimaced, then accidentally hit Evan's head from the recoil with her staff.
"Nitronome, I fused it with a Waste Module," Wedge grinned, not at all horrified by the smell. That was before a huge, light blue mass broke through the cloud, and knocked an unsuspecting Dusk into Amber, who fell onto Genome, who fell onto Tony, who fell into the Ice Queen.
"Screwit," I heard Evan mutter under his breath.
"Ugh, why do you have to be on my face?" Dusk growled, before letting loose a debilitating rage, throwing everyone else away from him. Charging straight at the Ice Queen with his Acheron held high, that was before a white mist suddenly burst from nowhere, and materialized a patch of ice onto the ground. Dusk, not seeing it coming, was about to slip when a bullet (from yours truly,) knocked him into an inexplicable rock.
"SCREW THIS," I heard Tony growl, then opened his mouth, and closed it hastily. The Ice Queen angrily shook her whole body, ejecting Tony straight back into me. (STOP)

(Fang Narrative) (START 2)

"Kozma," I muttered slowly, feeling faint and light headed, my Acheron laid meters away, and was picked up by one of those.. Sentinel things.
"See? I told you that boss would be happy," He smirked, and planted it's shadowy blade into the ground.
"Fray, destroy the field emitter, and I'll give you something to eat afterwards," He grinned, bringing up my sword. Kozma grabbed her Leviathan Blade, ran towards the one above me in a hasty rush.
"Fool, he's already dead, one way or another, Diux," He waved his hand to another Sentinel, then he tackled Kozma to the floor, grabbing her sword and crushing it in his hand.
"Meh.." The Sentinel sighed, shrugging as he held Kozma's head down.
There... 
My thoughts began to race, as I caught a glimpse of the control panel.
PRESS HERE TO ACTIVATE
I crawled my way over, before I felt something grab my leg. STOP 2 and START 3
"Hah, not so fast," I heard, before the sound of flesh being torn apart led to headbanging pain. I looked down, and found a pool of blood and disconnected nerves and whatnot where my leg should have been. 
"Damn.. this..."I felt whisper out of my lips, as I felt Kozma's bloodcurdling cry of pain struck a nerve.(STOP 3)

Episode 66 /•/ Momentary Vision

(??? Narrative) (Troubled)

I finally woke up, and to my surprise, standing up. Taking in my surroundings through the dim light, I found myself in a darkened area with no trace of light.
I felt something wet, and looking down, found myself knee-high in blood.
"HEY! ANYONE ELSE HERE?!" I heard her voice echo through the open air. I ran towards it, finding broken pillars sunken into the red liquid.
"Im here," I felt a warm hand grab my shoulder, looking to see him floating in midair.
"Um, where are we?" I heard her say to him, as he sighed deeply.
"No clue, but judging by the atmosphere, next to hell at the moment," He replied, as a familiar figure suddenly appeared at his side.
"You too?" She looked at him, as he grinned deviously.
"Boo," He answered flatly.
"Meh, I've seen cooking scarier," He glanced at him with his charcoal-black helmet. 
*COUGH*
"Kozma,"
*COUGH*
I grinned, as I noticed a small flickering something in the distance. It wasn't much of a detail, more like a shifting and churning mass. 
"Crap, he's back," He pointed, before materializing a FOV.
"Who?" She clutched the hand guard of her sword.
"Tinkenzar," He said, before rushing off to tackle him. 
(STOP!)

(Sir-Shade  narrative) Vim and Vigor

Dodging an incoming boulder, I felt a rush of air blow me back a few feet as I turned back into a knight.
"We got 2," Evan whimpered over the headset, followed by some explosions and random jibberish. Satisfied barks from 2 Frostifurs and a Skolver impaled the static, bringing about some groans from the noise. Landing on the metallic node point, I watched as the ring started to close. Right before it was about to, a black mass started to form around us.
"AAAND... there are NO revivals upon death! All courtesy of HARIKO!" Krogmo yelled over  the twenty-Something thousand speakers, uproars from the crowd shook the arena. Turning back into a knight,  I was pushed back by a sudden boulder. I dug my feet into he ground, feeling the friction slow myself, and the projectile down, until I could go around it. I could have sworn I saw a grin crawl up on Falcon's face.
"Shut up," Puffing out some air.
"Die.. die.. die.." A garbled mutter fanned from Falcon's mouth.
"Hm?" Glaring, as I could feel the Swarm surrounding the node point.
"DIE.." Falcon's hand turned from a red hue, to a greyish black flame. I had already jumped backward to avoid a blur of flames, before a sharp something stuck itself through my ankle. Turning backward, the Swarm had the stolen Ascended Calibur of a poor knight, and had my ankle gouged in it. Slowly, I easily brought my ankle out from the blade. The node point was only halfway, between us and them.
Falcon would have to die.

Ep 37 notifications.

The Swarm's behavior varies greatly from that in the game.
The Swarm can hide in shadows, and act like shadow itself. It can melt into puddles, and create areas where it can transport objects within itself. All the swarm in Cradle, is one living being. Meaning, any part cut off from it's main body will disintegrate and die. The Swarm can also warp upwards, forming rock-solid walls and shielding. It can also "eat" knights by separating a part in it's body, then closing to absorb it. The Swarm will gain it's mental capacity, along with certain personal traits. Swarm cannot "fly", only suspend itself up in the air by using an support. It is infinite, and can form ANY shape or size. 

Episode 37 /•/ Whatchamacallit! 

(?????? Narrative) (HEARTFUL CRY STELLAR) 

I turned into a Trojan and dodged the incoming arm thrust. The  blood behind me splattered and waved, while I saw him charge along with her. He leaped off a broken wall sinking into the blood, while she stayed on   charging at Tinkenzar at high speed. He set his foot against a pillar set upright, and took out his sword in mid-charge. She slid, gliding across the water, while a attack whipped right above her face. Tinkenzar's form churned and morphed, moving towards him as he stuck his foot out to produce an attack. The Swarm surrounding Tinkenzar wrapped itself around him, throwing him towards her as they collided, falling in the blood.
"You gotta be kidding me," I sighed, as a flash of orange light, and he appeared next to me, a number of Fovs surrounding him.
"Nope, but we need to go, he's the only way out," He tilted his fiery cowl, as he began to fly upwards toe-to-toe with Tinkenzar.
"If he's the only thing standing between us, and going back," She muttered, dragging her sword into position as a steady flow of blood trickled from her shoulder.
"Then he needs to be killed," He said, standing next to her as he hung, his sword over his shoulder.
"What more do you need to say?" He said, floating as the Fangs of Vog around him started to glow, spinning around him as he charged up the light in his hand.
"I'm comin back to life!" I yelled, rushing up to him as I raised a fist in an angered rage. (STOP)

(Evan Narrative) (Autumn Leaves Dancing in the Heaven Far

"KILLKILLKILLKILLKILLKILLKILLKILLKILLKILLKILL!!!!"Zooduth threw a bomb bandolier in the direction of a bunch of Void Lumbers, as the Nitronomes released themselves, releasing an explosion of debilitating rage onto the field.
"Ugh, god," Sighing, as I caught a glimpse of something to the left of me. I immediately grabbed my Polaris. (Yes, LIKE A BAWS) The dark mass swirled and warped. I fired three shots in no hesitation, the Swarm dodging the first two, then  got hit by the third. The greenish blue explosion lit up my face, as the the Swarm caved in, then pointed itself upward. It spiraled upwards, then, adjusting at an angle, fired itself straight at us. I let loose a couple more Polaris bullets, to have them all miss. I crossed my arms to cover my face, but to my surprise, the Swarm parted itself right before it was going to hit me. I looked behind me, and saw the Swarm to race towards Zooduth, while he was lazily throwing miscellaneous bombs at the Swarm in front of him.
"Crap," I felt my blood race, faster than Teacher. But in turn, time itself around me slowed down to a drag. The Swarm angled itself into a sharp blade, aiming itself for Zooduth's  neck. I reached for my Callahan, about to grab it's handle when I felt a pocket of air where it was. 
My heart nearly stopped. (STOP)

(Talon Narrative) (Troubled)

/Epic Flashback/

We were walking down the alleyway, right in the middle of school time.
"How did we get kicked out of the academy?!" I yelled out loud, while everyone else walked along.
"Technically, no," Arus pulled on my arm.
"Our 'rents got us a teacher," Evan said flatly. I stared at him for a couple seconds, he looked back at me with a devilish grin.
"I hope she's super-nice," Rya blushed, hugging herself in the thought. 
"Wait, we're NOT coming back to The Academy?!" Evan suddenly sparked. Looking like he was about to melt into the floor, Wedge turned him around.
"Nope, why?" Wedge gave him a "dahek?" face.
"I met a nice girl... so.. what do I do?!" Evan started sweating, which was pretty rare for him to get worked up over a girl.
"DUMP HER," Arus grabbed him by the shirt, and yelled it into his face.

"Sheesh, no need to be so serious..." I separated the both of them. 
"What?" Evan became speechless.
Arus dropped him onto the concrete, walking away as Evan slowly stood up, shaking.
"Sides, we also got a classmate," Arus walked back, picking up Evan by his hands, and proceeded to drag him along.
"What? What's his name?" I immediately asked.
"But wait, there's something about him that'll really creep you out," Wedge suddenly stood over the both of us.
"What?" Rya creeped up next to him.
"It's just that..." Wege began.
"HE'S A THREE FOOT TALL ZOMBIE WITH A HOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS FOREHEAD!!!!" Wedge screamed, scaring the lucid crap out from Rya. (STOP, DB in his mind)
Rya laid on the sidewalk, already scared halfway to death.
"Ok, what really is it?" I looked down to Wedge.
"It's just that-" 
I stopped him, and showed him my new Darkfang Staff, included with razor-sharp crystals on the back of the head.
"Meep, well.." Wedge stuttered.
"He's an orphan knight," 

(Evan Narrative) (STOP, and play, The voice someone calls

"An orphan knight?! Thats even funnier than the zombie!!" I snapped out of my grief, and started laughing. 
Then, a sharp pain in the top of my head made me lose conscious for a couple seconds.
"Ow," Talon grinned, brandishing her staff.
"You're not lying?" Talon pointed her staff at Wedge.
"Nope, cross my evil, evil, little heart," Wedge put  his hands up.
"'"Little' heart?! THATS EVEN FUNNIER THAN THE ORPHAN KNI-" 

(Arus Narrative) (STOP, play) DB)

Evan was lain across the eye of the sidewalk, Talon flashed me a devilish grin.
"H'okay! What did I miss?" Rya scared the lucid crap out of US, then he air became quiet again.
"Sheesh, so.." I began, then Evan woke up as well.
"I apologize for the misbehavior my fellow colleagues, shall I speak of the message that the new teacher has left us?"
