You know, even if I am thinking too on leaving this wrecking train, you should wait a little. At least until we know for sure that OOO doesn't hear us by not implementing a trading system within the client for those of us without that Swarm spawn called Steam.
You are one of those "famous" posters here and I would regret that you wouldn't give the chance to OOO. They may not give it to us, but we can give it to them.

Sad to see you go since I never really got a chance to say hi, however I think I speak for most of us when I say you'll be missed. Aside from having the only SK commentaries than didn't consist of either whiny twelve year olds or manchildren shouting obsceneties that I've seen, you were also a huge help to a lot of the newer members of the community which is more than a lot of people can claim.

well, it is certainly a shame to see players go. especially those have put time and effort in the game, but whatever their decisions.... it was certainly fun to go on the few runs i did with you.

nowadays, everyone 5 star that I meet is leaving only a month afterwards and I'm starting to wonder weither or not to turn this game over to a critic who HATES MMORPGs.

OOO should really consider what will happen if an exodus of iconic players starts to happen, a game with a good public image will last longer (and likely more be more profitable in time) then one that goes for quick cash now.

Exileddread, quitting simply you have to pay for an expansion, which is something that's very standard in a LOT of other games, makes you look like a cheapskate and shows your true colors as a player, and a person. It's incredibly shallow.
I don't even have to reply with an argument. You have no idea how wrong you are. Just so you know, this is supposed to be a F2P game who's main selling point was being able to "access everything in the game for free." Believe it or not, that video has been out for quite some time. Its a shame that OOO doesn't act on it though... and it bothers me far more than it should, although what bothers me most is when people actually support things like this.

I bought the thing since it was roughly the price of two candy bars, just so I can see the "last" content which might be the last just incase this game dies.
It was extremely fun content! Killed Mr. Bossypants, got my P2P only items, and had fun. More fun than two candy bars. Judging by everyone's arguments, OOO will be needing the 4 bucks that I gave them.
And if you are all wrong and end up playing still even after "quitting", then that is hilarious either way :D I'll be keeping tabs on each of you so I can get a good laugh in.

Chances are, the person I called out is spending his money in other wasteful places. Excess gas, candy bars, drugs, alcohol, etc. Spending it in a video game is no different than wasting it anywhere else.
So with OOO's "greediness" or whatever out of mind, it is definately worth the 4 bucks. You get to experience what might be the last of this game, kill fun Mr. Bossypants, and get your little bossy items. It was a blast for me, and sort of challenging.
So yeah, I suggest you buy this expansion mission.

*Ahem* Now to point out how this Expansion Pack update has affected my SK career.
My friends (real life and those I met in the game) have quit today. It was sad seeing them go and now I feel lonely. Not only that, I am F2P, I have tried earning ce within the past week... only to find out that I needed to pay REAL money for the content. Well, there goes all that useless effort. And steam trading you say? Yea.... no. Steam has already screwed up my playing experience a lot.
At this point in time, I don't know how to move forward.

Just because things go downhill for some of the OOO games doesn't mean that the game will just disappear. I mean, look at whirled, it's been in a crippling slow beta for years but they kept it around. The CEO even said that it was generating a loss as an investment but they felt invested in it enough to keep it going. I think that's the attitude for their other games as well, since Puzzle Pirates is still around too.
So maybe the game will hit a dead-end but it'll still be around and probably have a playerbase, even when the numbers for it are in the red. That's just what the company does.
