1) How long have you been playing Spiral Knights?
I played mildly for about ten months or so, then stopped. Now, about a year later, I'm back in the game, hoping it'll help me spend some free time in a fun way. So, yeah, I'm pretty familiar with the standard stuff, but the newly introduced things (missions, wow!) are still fresh for me.
2) What is your current and your dream loadout?
Current loadout is the Wolver Cap, Dusker Coat, Vile Striker, Cryotech Alchemer.
I'm hoping to get better armor soon. Other than that, a Wild Hunting Blade variant would be cool, and maybe combine that with either a heavy sword or a nice bomb. Will definitely take a while to get there, though, especially with my tendency to invest in all kinds of recipes I don't even need.
3) What do you usually spend your time on Spiral Knights doing?
Adventuring for fun and to earn money so I can spend it all at the auction house. Also, keeping an eye out for any dips and peaks in the CE market. I try to make a bit of extra money via buying and reselling CE, but that isn't really getting anywhere right now. :C

Bananas. That's right, a fruit. Why? Because who the hell doesn't like bananas? (Also, a good sandwich can't hurt.)

As far as writing about anything else goes, I might as well introduce myself some more. I'm Fang, 18-year-old Computer Science student, hobbyist programmer (mostly web), and most consistent Blogonaut in the Blogosphere. (Those are actual things, look it up.) I play the guitar a bit, mostly playing soundtracks from the Touhou games. I read webcomics like Homestuck, Monster Pulse and Paranatural. I aspire to write a good story, but right now it's still in its planning phase.
I have hay fever, am allergic to hairy animals, and apples make my throat swell. This makes me sad.
(Also I may be a tad bit inconsistent with playing Spiral Knights, but I'll try to keep up, especially if the community here is as awesome as you guys make it sound.)

I've been playing since a few days after it went public. Sadly I wasn't in the beta, since I didn't know about it until release.

Most if not all have Med+ UVs. I can give a full inventory if you want, but this is all I can remember.
My current favorite general purpose set is Divine Veil, Snarby Coat, BTS, Voltedge, and BTB. If I feel like bombing, I'll swap in the Volc Demo Helm and spam VTs or something.
My Dream loadout... I dunno, aside from getting some VH UVs I'm pretty happy with my current one.

It's all about the missions. Gotta get that prestige up.

Explosion is always a last-ditch move choice. Sure the damage is high, but fainting is bad news. Revives are expensive, and only give 1/2 health anyways.
They just kicked a bunch of non actives so there should be a lot of room for new members now.

I think that it's a very good game. It's like playing a multiplayer Zelda or something along the lines of that. The energy doesn't bother me at all, and the community is absolutely teeming with jerks. But those that aren't are, well, VERY amiable. 9.75/10 stars

My favorite is the Cold Iron Vanquisher. Not only is it sexy as a new Jaguar, Porsche, and Ferrari put together, it kills slags like no tomorrow on FSC. That makes it a must-have. It also tastes like cookies and cartilage.

My current set consists of a Silent Nightblade (Med DMG on Beasts and Low ASI), Gigawatt pulsar (Low DMG on gremlins [useless] and Low ASI), Wise Owlite Shield, and Ashtail armor.
My dream loadout is basically an upgrade to what I currently have, with Skolver armor, also aiming to get hold of DA and Final Flourish

Used to mostly do JK runs but then found it more profitable to do ordinary runs in arcade for the vendors (since missions, EVERYTHING has increased in price, so 16000 profit on kilowatt recipes :D)

The DREAD VENOM STRIKER! It's my first SK love <3 It's so awesomeee >.< Wait for me...I'm gonna get there soon enough, I've got the vile striker...Oh yeah why is it my favourite? Well, I prefer fast weapons over slow ones, and the Striker line is the fastest sword out there, plus the poison bonus is too cool, it reminds me of ninjas or spies or something like that. It's fast, sneaky and definitely awesome :3 Plus, my preferences for these kinds of things may explain why almost every time I play Lockdown, I always pick Recon...so...yeh.

Okay. So there's this manga (Japanese comic, basically) I read, called "Fairy Tail" and my favourite character is Erza Scarlet. That was the name I originally wanted, but it was already taken. Then I had an IDEA. Because in this, they have a kind of "counterpart world" where there is like another version of everyone.
And Erza Scarlets counterpart is Erza Knightwalker. Which is where I got the name from. Also, its actually pretty related to Spiral, because Erza magical ability (yes, it's about wizards) is called "The Knight" and allows her to requip (basically change) into different kinds of armour (she can change it while in battle, though, unlike in Spiral Knights) weapons, armour, shields etc. plus she has like different sets of equipment, kind of like loadouts! So yeah, that's where my name's from.

1) How much would you say you enjoy playing Spiral Knights?
I enjoy it enough to play it almost everyday. I also hate it enough to almost not play it at all, but this game is like cigarettes. It kills me, but I can't stop. (I don't smoke FYI). Every time that survey comes up, I give it a 3. But it's like living in a small town. You want to stay because it has so much potential, but you hope you don't die surrounded by idiots in a place you don't belong. whaaaat. way too deep.
I'm a stickler for the unspoken rules. Common sense. Don't invite me into your Vana mission and then tell me "brb mom just called for dinner" in the second depth. That makes me want to do hurtful things.
2) What is your favourite piece of gear? Why?
In my inexperienced and girl opinion, my Vile Striker is my favourite. I feel like a cat with it's claws out just ascratchin' the &%#! out of everything. But also, i just used the litter box, so you know. . poison. It's a cathartic experience, really. My therapist recommended it.

It's a good enough game on it's own, having good company amplifies it into a great one. Oh wait, that didn't answer your question! I enjoy playing Spiral Knights a bunch, 'ssuming I've got companions to play it with.

My fancy pipe. Swords and guns are nice but traveling the clockworks with hallucinogens is the best weapon I could have because hey look those Gremlins are actually sentient fuzzsquid. Do you have any idea how much fun it is to fight a fuzzsquid? You try to strangle it but you just end up playing patty cake with it because it has so many hands that feel like fluffy brillo pads. Brillo pads, specifically. I usually wake up eight hours later stuck in a hug with a Gremlin. They're really affectionate when they're not swinging those hammers around!

Then I'd start punching it, because the only thing that feels better than slathering it all over yourself is assaulting a big batch of it with your fists. I enjoyed Spiral Knights. It's one of my favorite game and I played almost everyday.

My favorite gear is a Skolver set because I saw my cousin use it and it looks good.

fun, challenging, time consuming, frustrating, and cheap.

I'd like to join a nice, friendly bunch of people and Tier Zero looks like the right guild for me. So I figured I'd give it a try :)
1) How much would you say you enjoy playing Spiral Knights?
Very much. It's pretty addictive, so I play every day.
When I run out of energy, I usually keep hanging around the AH, checking all the awesome accessories and costumes and listening to other people's chit-chat.
2) What is your favourite piece of gear? Why?
Shadow Alchemer and it's upgrades.
It's the perfect weapon for my taste, because I'm pretty convinced it's powered by lost souls that are trapped inside those little "canisters" attached to the gun. I'm all into the horror stuff, you see.
3) Describe your adventures in SK with five adjectives.
Patched with wolver fur / jelly-flavoured / grave-digging / devilishly devastating / purple-tinted.
4) What is your favourite beverage?
Red wine and Redbull (not mixed together).
5) You are suddenly dropped into a tub of lukewarm yoghurt. What do you do?
Uuh... I prefer to keep my business around tubs full of yoghurt to myself. It's rather personal.

I kind of like to talk about myself, so here we go:
- I'd describe myself as "your average reasonable player".
- I hate it when someone sends a guild/party invite without saying a word. Seriously, people, don't do it!
- I don't like it when people takes themselves too seriously. Party Poopers!
- I love purple/violet color.
- My most favourite and least favourite monsters are Zombies and Howlitzers, respectivelly.
- I never beg for crowns/energy.
Oh, and did I mention that I kind of like to talk about myself... ? :P

Hey guys, just came back to SK after a long holiday (sadly doing work related issues) and find myself looking for a fun guild. Tier 0 definitely seems to fit the bill.
1) How much would you say you enjoy playing Spiral Knights?
Quite a lot :P There is so much variation of both equipment and playstyles and with new content continuously being added there is a reason I got drawn back to it.
2) What is your favourite piece of gear? Why?
The Striker series, (currently using the 4* version). It comes without the powerful charge attack (because using that is suicidal) however the amount of mobility it can grant allows a completely different playstyle where shielding isn't as necessary compared to simply dodging. Also it's a serrated dagger...need I say more?
3) Describe your adventures in SK with five adjectives.
Drunk, sleepy, hilariously, challenging, exciting.
4) What is your favourite beverage?
Honestly probably an ale, preferably from Wytchwood brewery's.
5) You are suddenly dropped into a tub of lukewarm yoghurt. What do you do?
Simple. Freeze it, pulverise it and put Ben & Jerry's out of business.
Current Goals: Elevating my 4* gear to 5*, finding Vanaduke runs without the 5* mission is quite difficult outside of a guild as I found out before. Oh and doing any ridiculous run that takes my fancy.
On a side note, I have only recently discovered the whole topic of Battle Sprites....there is no force strong enough in this world to keep me from my Mew.
(P.S. Chances are my friend will also apply here (Desolo), we have been duoing quite a lot of the game so far up to, and including several different danger missions and duoing vana with 4* gear alone.)

Definition of enjoyment is a tough one, simply... Spiral knights is a fun and manic game with the freedom that you can start and stop. Its a very fun and active game, especially with friends.

I feel that changes, since there is a lot of variation, you may get bored of one item alone. But, since you ask, right now I'm taken with the 4* pulsar. It's like being a ranged bomber, large aoe damage, knock back cc, shock cc and quite safe, so you can be the medic...

Chaotic
Funny
Challenging
Fast-paced
= my kind of game :) and lastly:
Free-ish, that's a bonus in its own right.

Whats with the tough questions? Alcoholic - probably pear cider. Non alcoholic - needs more alcohol... if none is present, basic apple juice keeps me happy :).

Taste it, swim in it, play in it... any and everything!! How often would you get a chance to swim in yoghurt?! Well... quite often for me, but that's another story.

Only just got to tier 3, my equipment is not amazing, but I plan to acquire a large variety of good weapons and armour. However I have already duo'ed vanaduke and many of the danger missions. Applying with a friend, Reapernight, the 2nd part of the duo all the way up to now. He was able to already get my name wrong, Desolo is my steam's profile name, Wrathgrall is my spiral knight.
I refute all allegations that I made my application while slightly drunk.
