Ha-ha, I just burst out laughing when I read the post about me and Bee. XD Do I hint a bit of jealousy? x) lol. xD Thanks for the mention, was very happy when I finally got the Flame Aura to finish it off. =)

He ain't heavy; he's my bomber.
Rodrigoch - The Dragon Princess (now finally and appropriately, petite and sultry-eyed) loved this very creative pairing of a Dragon Scale Helm with Heavy Plate Mail. In order to match the heavy colors of the mail, Rodrigoch has decorated the right side of the helm with a heavy com unit and a heavy helm-mounted display, and on top he's placed a heavy mohawk. On the mail itself he's attached heavy dragon wings and a heavy bomb bandolier. The violet personal color and greys of the gear match the heavy-colored theme nicely to create a delightfully unique and eye-pleasing look, especially with all those new shape eyes to please out there.
I LOVE your write-ups!!!!! Keep up the good work. I check this thread everyday, and always smile and laugh.
A Vixen in the Making
(Please read the following in the British accent of a high society girl, if it please you)
Avixi - When the Dragon Princess cast a sultry-eyed glance in the direction of this brilliant player, she felt a warm glow of kinship and appreciation. Really, "genius" does not even begin to describe the adorabiltiy factor of this lovely outfit. The Spiral Tailed Helm features toasty vertical vents and toasty glasses over almond-shaped eyes, as well as a recently acquired heavy birthday candle. Her body is clothed in the highly recommended Dragon Scale Mail with a dusky parrying blade bouncing jauntily on her hip and a toasty wolver tail swinging playfully from her, er, well, tail bone, shall we say. And such a lovely creature deserves the falling hearts of a love aura. It'll be the blokes' hearts that be falling when this saucy dish of cuteness saunters by!
Another of Avixi's looks
The Return of Verdure
(Zis shud be read wis a French accent)
Verdure (a condition of health and vigor) has been featured in this thread before, but le petite princess could not resist showcasing this entirely different outfit. Here he is in all his glorious 7-accessory glory!
His Tabard of the Gold Rose would make him the envy of many a musketeer. Although he has 3 powerful swords, this soldier looks quite natural hefting a powerful golden gun and shining golden shield. Draped dashingly across his chest is a pumpkin bomb bandolier to fight of the terrible' monsters of the clockworks depths. The sprinkle aura indicates a certain irrepressible joie de vivre, as does the tails tail which no doubt gives him extra balance in his daring exploits.
Due no doubt to the French's fondness for masquerades, his head is completely encompassed by a Charged Quicksilver Helm nestled charmingly in a heavy scarf, from which protrudes a regal party blowout. Clearly this Belle of the Ball has been partying, and still has on his regal party hat sitting between regal vertical vents.
Verdure is indeed a fitting name for this healthy and vigorous defender of our globe. Victoire!
A Nasty Bit o' Business
(To be a read with an Australian accent, if ya can manage it, Mate.)
Biznasty - Here we have our first mate featured with the newly available eyes. And since these orange Spiral Eyes are sitting in a Grey Feather Cowl, they glow, baby, glow. This pretty piece o' work has a prisamtic halo hovering between his toasty vertical vents. Matching the Cowl quite nicely is Ironmight Plate Mail with its charming prismatic belt buckle. The Dragon Princess imagines that this fierce warrior, personal bodyguard to Lord Magnus himself, cares little for the ways of fashion, but he certainly succeeds in making an impact. Cheers, Mate!
....I knew your name was familiar. Anyway.
*cough*
Sorry boys, I'm neither interested nor available.( ̄ー ̄)
This Boy's Hardcore
Nardcore - Oh, My! What a toasty delight this player is! The Dragon Princess sent off a double nostril fire blast of pure joy upon seeing this fiery vision of crimson and shadow. The natural and wonderful prismatic mohawk of a Mad Bomber Mask rests between toasty vertical vents. Glaring out from under that helm are two molten glow eyes under which lies a heavy scarf. His Volcanic Plate Mail is perfectly accessorized with a volcanic bomb bandolier and volcanic dragon wings (Mawashimono giggles with glee). The final attachment of a Flame Aura makes this a truly hardcore look that will burn itself into your memory {in a good way, :)}.
Too bad I can't get on here because I bought a piece from a costume that was already on here! D:
/emote looses.
someone should create a bomb-head fashion show...

Nice to see a thread like this.
I love you Mawa!
Duo-toned, do tell!
Dothackerduo - Proving that one doesn't need a ton of accessories to create a stylish look, this simple but striking duo-toned outfit is quite impressive. Built around the colors of cool and pink, this player has lived up to his "duo" name by outfitting a Chapeau of the Blue Rose with cool vertical vents and cool round shades, which exactly matches the cool color of a Spiral Cuirass with its cool wings affixed. Mawashimono predicts some serious smackdown thwackdown in this fashionable fighter's future.
@ Fallconn - That's an excellent idea. The Dragon Princess has begun working on a special Bombhead Mask Feature. Anyone who thinks they have a particularly nice looking mask+armor combo should fell free to hit me up with an in-game mail or friend request.
I don't care if he "Hates stuff like this" I'm making it my mission to get him on here. Just have to wait for him to take a break from TERA so I can get a screen cap. ._.
I apologise in advance for the quality of these shots, it's just that I don't know how to make them only the character but I saw quite good costumes
in haven and I even more Genolo costumes. Enjoy (I am not gonna put descriptions since i don't know how do describe the way Mayashimono does)

"Personal bodyguard to Lord Magnus".
Ahh, public perception of Guild. Never atrophies, even when we do.
Lilweazy Made Me Uneasy
The Dragon Princess was enjoying some lightly charred chromalisks with her good friend Xairathan,
front
back
a dragoness of refined tastes and lineage, when a particulary fierce-looking wolver hybrid came strutting into the plaza. Mawashimono regrets the unpleasantries that followed, but wolvers, particularly hybrid ones, can sometimes provoke strong instinctive reactions in dragons, especially when they are feeding. Due to the graphicly violent nature of the subsequent exchange recorded below, more sensitive readers may wish to skip to the fashion description at the bottom.
Mawa: munch-munch crunchity-crunch. "Ow, I thought you said you took the bones out of this one?"
Xair: "Sorry, must'a missed one. Hey, what's tha---"
Mawa: Hiss-hiss, fire-spit (fwoooosh), smoke belch ...
Xair: Tail slash-swish-slash, claw-popping rake thru the air....
Lilweazy: Growll, Grrr, jaw-snap-snap, teeth click, hackles raise...
Mawa poises to unleashes her devastating Mawashimono Lick, which no man or beast has yet to devise a counter to, when an Azure Guardian of the Peace, fully armored but still risking great personal bodily harm, steps between the would-be combatants and attemps to restore order to the Townsquare. Realizing that, after all, we are all on the same side, composures are regained, apologies are mumbled, and appearances are appreciated.
Lilweazy's hybrid wolver look combines a Snarbolax Cap with a Vog Cub Coat. A prismatic halo lends a majestic appearance, with a military long feather revealing a warrior spirit. The coat features rare and powerful volcanic wings, while the front has a solid cobalt crest - the perfect volcanic-colors match for a perfectly ferocious wolver look.

Diamonds may be a girl's best friend, but Ruby Eclipses them all
Rubyeclipse - Like the Medieval wealthy patrons of the arts, Ruby has spread his wealth and influence widely across our realm, helping and inspiring many a player to a better game experience. Ruby is believed to be the one of the first in the game to own prismatic wings through is extravagant bid in one of our first featured auctions. Ruby has also donated prizes to many a contest, and is the Guild Master of the fabled Jempire, over which he rules like King Solomon of old.
Here we can see Ruby with the aforementioned prismatic wings on his full gleaming white Skolver set. A prismatic halo is the only other accessory needed to achieve his kingly look.
At other times, Ruby can be seen in his Red (of course) Chapeau of the Rose to which he's attached volcanic round shades over happy eyes. On his Vog Cub Coat burns a flame aura, which, when combined with the lava dripping from his legs, creates quite an imposing look.
Long live, King Ruby! May he continue to grace our good kingdom forever.
Cuter Than AJune Bug
(y'all oughta read this piece with a good ole southern drawl.)
Ajune - In't he just the cutest lil thang? Why, I just love that darlin' lil Skelly Mask with its sweet lil military party hat, and those sweet lil military vertical vents, and y'all just gotta love that cute lil regal ribbon tucked in behind there. And is that a cute lil military barrel belly on that fused demo suit? Why, I just wanna take you home, put ya in a pie, and gobble ya all up!
Two random players I've noticed in Haven, and whose costumes I've found inspiring. I hope you find it inspiring too.
Ultimate Druid of the Talon, the combination of mysterious violets and turquoise greens, spiced up with will-o'-the-wisps really suits any true Night Elf of Cradle. (Sadly will-o'-the-wisp are not much visible on those screenshots I've made).
Triclops? All right, regal helm guards spoils the effect a bit, but still I find this helm very outstanding.
What's the name of those dragon wings on Silversray on the first post?
I looked like Jade Rabbit before it was cool to put on Spiral starter gear.
Our Player, Who Art in Haven, Hollows Be Thy Name
Hollows - If your personal color is pink, then you already have an affinity for the natural pink Jelly Helm. Add some divine vertical vents up top and a divine plume behind, and you have the making of a very unique and classy look. A cool flower further feminizes the appearance (Yeah, as if choosing pink as your personal color wasn't girly enough). Then attach your pink prismatic valkyrie wings (who, as you all know, was a female warrior in Norse mythology) to Valkyrie Mail, and pick up your pink jelly shield. Congratulations! You have become a puissant pink picture of prettiness.
Thank you for that heads up, Dishly. I was able to get a photo of one of her other looks.
Hollows 2 - Here she has on a Rock Jelly Helm with heavy vertical vents, heavy flower, and heavy plume while clothed in the heavy Heavenly Iron Armor.
I just recently had the pleasure of meeting this stunningly attractive Knight!
This post is inspired by our meeting, where Hollows showed me the multitude of other outfits she had put together. The girl has got a way with color schemes and has recreated the same outfit in a number of color combinations, each of which, equally inticing!
Here is to hoping Mawashimono gets a chance to revisit with Hollows and screen capture some of her other fantastiche get-ups.
Absolutely in love with your thread Mawa! You've got an eye for those with your eyes=']]
Congratz mawashimono! If you didn't already know, this thread was featured by spiralknights on facebook! :D
Oh, Wow! I just went and checked that out. How cool is that? I'm so glad I can contribute to our community in a positive and affirming way. Thanks to everyone for your words of encouragement and fashionably creative participation.
Pure Skolver is a Pure Delight
Pure-Skolver - The Cyan-colored fashionista was seen hanging out in the Townsquare with two players previously featured in this thread - Meowcenary and Raphael-Sabrewing. The soft tones of her personal color blend well with the cool blues and greys of her gear. These colors are further enhanced by her choice of cool and military colored accessories. She has on a fully-accessorized Fused Demo Helm with military vertical vents and military glasses. Her flower and scarf are both cool, as is the canteen on her belt. A military wolver tail seems to be the only thing even slightly skolver about this outfit, but like many players of refined fashion sense, Mawashimono suspects this player has more than one set of armor in her closet. The Dragon Princess would like to see her brand of pure mayhem as she stylishly sweeps through our enemies' ranks.
A Swashbuckling Player of Nine LIves
Inochi ("life" in Japanese) - Evoking something of a "Puss in Boots" theme here, Inochi is regaled in the full regal colors of a Gold Chapeau and Tabard. The regal vertical vents and regal glasses add a touch of classy feline fashion. Inochi's personal emerald green color shows up nicely at the bottom of his regal bomb bandolier. His tails tail completes this catwalk-worthy cat outfit with just the right touch of humorous feline flair. No doubt, this "Inochi" is the "life" of any party he attends!
Kezzang - This player has a very similar look, but with a prismatic party blowout. The prismatic valkyrie wings attached to the Blue Tabard nicely complement the feather in the Blue Chapeau. Also the squinty eyes add a very nice touch.
Assault and Battery in Progress
Bateringzax - Careful, dear players. Tread cautiously around this ferocious looking beast of a Warrior. This Vog Cub brawler was certainly not the runt of the litter. Mawashimono (whose name means "secret agent" in Japanese) used all her surreptitious skills to stealthily snatch a photo of this fearsome looking fighter. The combination of volcanic dragon wings on a Vog Cub Coat makes quite the lava-dripping impression. The pumpkin bomb bandolier with its fiery glow further adds to the volcanic ambience. A heavy bolted vee and heavy helm-mounted display attached to a Crown of the Fallen add a menacing air. The crown may have fallen, but one doubts if this battering battler ever does.
I wish I had my dream target loadout already...half functional, half fashionable...everything I ever wanted...so far, yet so close...
Or maybe I'll just splurge some cash and craft some stuff up.
I'm not gonna reveal the items in it but the armor and helm share a mostly identical colorscheme.
Either way, when I finally get it, I'm gonna stalk you around Havens until you notice me.
}: )
Nice thread, and great showcase! Looking forward to what you find in the coming days...
Cyan are ya? (That's, uh, Japanese for "goodbye" don't ya know?)
Falnyx - Now here's a Happy-Go-Lucky looking fellow whose personal light blue color accentuates the whites and greys of his garments. A Magic Hood never looked more magical as a cool headband connects two cool vertical vents, which, in combination with his delightfully happy eyes behind regal glasses, creates a scholarly cat-like appearance. The color scheme of his hood blends perfectly with the white and greys of his Skolver Coat, to which he's attached a dusky canteen and dusky dragon wings. Mawashimono loves it when even the choice of weapon's colors is considered as part of the fashion statement. If you'd like to see more of this fashion hero, check him out on YouTube.
The Return of the One-Eyed Dragon
Artifice - The avatar of the once dreaded One-Eyed Dragon Lord, Date Masamune, for whom the Samurai helmet adornment Maedate was named, has returned (albeit in bite-size form) thirsting for revenge on the forces that sent him to the shadowy realms. Being the "artful strategist" that he is, Artifice has taken a real-life historical samurai and modeled his character after him. Since Date Masamune was nicknamed the "one-eyed dragon", Artifice artfully put an eyepatch in the form of a toasty helm-mounted display onto a Dragon Scale Helm. He's also added toasty helm guards to fill out his head piece. Artifice has also used a Snarbolax Coat to further the samurai aesthetic. On it he has put a fancy canteen and a fancy side blade. After all, a samurai can never have too many swords. And since he is a dead Dragon Lord, it's only approrpriate to finish off this look with a ghostly aura. The color scheme, the thoughtful and intelligent historical tie-in, and the overall pleasing look make this an especially praiseworthy character. And the next time you're fighting those "mendokusai" (troublesome) ninjas in Operation Crimson Hammer, you may want to invite him along for the battle!
A New Old Character from the "New World"
Asukalan - You've heard her voice booming in the forums. Perhaps you've even seen her vermillion pig tails weaving around Townsquare. You may have even thought she looked familiar somehow. Well, wonder no more, for Asukalan is none other than Asuka Langley of Neon Genesis Evangelion!
Asukalan has creatively put to use the red tones of a Blazebreak Helm which combine with her personal burnt orange color to simulate the famous Anime character's long red tresses. A heavy helm-mounted display lends a futuristic look to the helm, which is matched up with a heavy bolted vee and heavy helm guards. Although a vitasuit deluxe may have more precisely matched the anime character's body suit, the heavy colors of the Heavenly Iron Armor also go nicely, as does the matching mighty colbalt crest. Modeling one's appearance after a favorite media character adds a fun twist to choosing a look, and The Dragon Princess applauds Asuka's creative design.
If any other players have modeled their look after a famous character, by all means, share your pic with us to appreciate.
Slap Leather, Hombre'
Angerday - Someone's in for a beatdown when this sheriff flies into town. A red, white, and grey color scheme always looks nice, and Angerday has shown this nicely by combining the glowing white 4* Sunset Stetson with a beautiful white and grey Skolver Coat. The reddish brown tints in the hat are further brought out by his red angry eyes, to which he's added a divine game face to make them look even angrier, while the heavy canteen on his holster belt reflects the colors of his hat and face. Making this even whiter are the divine dragon wings and a gleaming white Final Flourish sword. Apprarently, an hombre this mean needs no shield. Mawashimono thinks the Wild, Wild West gets a lot wilder when this pardner arrives!
Something Wicked This Way Comes
Mellansnorre - Looking like a demon freshly summoned from the shadow depths, few players dare to wear the full Dread Skelly Set. In the presence of such fearsome looking players, monsters have been known to be seen visibly trembling while others apparently have run right off into space (although, that may have been lag *ahem*). The Dragon Princess herself was a bit timid about approaching such a scary-looking brute. While maintaining a safe distance, Mawashimono was able to make out what appears to be a fancy spike mohawk on top with fancy mecha wings on the side and fancy dragon wings on the armor back, all of which blend well with the purples and greys of the Dread Skelly outfit while simultaneously adding an even more menacing appearance, if it were possible. The only reassuring note in the entire outfit was the prestigious Vanguard crest attached to his chest, awarded only to bravest and most skilled Spiral Knights. However,a "Do Not Disturb" sign may have been more appropriate as Mawashimono's gentle inquires regarding his appearance and name were met with nearly unintelligible grunts and noises. Perhaps his voice was merely muffled by the mask, but be warned, dear players - approach these shadowy fighters with extreme caution!
The Archangel of Death
Azraelwing - Most of you probably know the name of Azrael as a character in the Bat-Man comic books, but he is in fact a mythical religious figure. Azraelwing has created a character that very much resembles the white-clad version from the comic books. His Skolver Cap version has prismatic helm guards and a prismatic scarf, adding to the freeze resistance of the Skolver gear, no doubt. A prismatic canteen on the Skolver Coat continues the color theme, and while divine valkyrie wings would have completed the archangel look very well, Azraelwing has chosen to follow a higher fashion calling by attaching the incredibly perfect (and incredibly expensive) prismatic wings. All in all, and incredible look, one that may even have a cuter alternate version, as seen here with squinty eyes glowing from beneath a Grey Feather Cowl. "The Archangel of Death" is certainly an apt title for this death-dealing fighter.
Mop Zee Deck, Ye Scurvy Dogs!
(Read the followin' like a pirate.)
Mopzee - Avast, ye mateys! Zee, the Mercenary Of Pain ("M.O.P. Zee" to her few survivin friends) be givin' ya a steely squinty-eyed look just before she runs ya thru while breakin yer heart. This pirate ain't no princess, but she's stolen a crown or two, if that counts for anythin! With an accumulated treasure that'd be the envy of a king or two, ye can see the mix of goodies she's put into this charmin' look. Aye, that be a Dragon Scale Helm upon this pretty pirate's head, and a toasty mohawk that a now headless Roman soldier ain't got no use fer anymore. The mighty cobalt crest swayin on her breast piece was earned the true way - by fightin her way up thru the ranks of monsters that be plaguein our new world. And those shadowy valkyrie wings on her Almirian Crusader Armor show her to be a warrior of the dark arts as well, one capable, in fact, of taking down the Dark Lord Vanaduke himself. Fact is, some men say that love aura that surrounds'er is really a love potion she cast upon herself. But her pirate mates know it's just her natural beauty that be castin a love spell on men, and not no magic trick. No need to lock up the women and children when this femme fatale is in the area, but ye men folk may want put an extra guard on yer hearts lest yours be the next one she claims!
I actually love the mellifluous way you describe each and every knight here, Your Highness.
I return here daily for the extravagant review, rather than the fashionistas themselves
Sonic the Hedgehog's Got Some Competition
Super-Slash - "This character, he looks familiar... he's not a dream after all!" If Spiral Knights hadn't created a Sonic Set, this might have been a good approximation. Short and fast, he super slashes through whatever stands in his way. Looking very Sonic the Hedghog like in his cool blue Spiral Sallet and Brigandine, he's addeed cool vertical vents for Sonic's ears, a heavy spike mohawk for that standing up hair effect, cool glasses to make the eyes look bigger, and a cool scarf that matches the coloring of the ear vents in the same way that Sonic's mouth area matches his ears. How cool is that? Furthermore, his toasty barrel belly serves as a stand in for Sonic's flesh-colored stomach area. Mawashimono is truly impressed with the thoughtful homage that Super-Slash has made to Sonic. "Way to go, ya Knucklehead!" And if you ever get a chance to see this player in action against one of the in-game bosses, be sure to leave him with a "Hey, I'll play with you some other time!"
Why do no one notice me (I'm a brandish master, I have all the 5 brandish line upgraded to it's highest upgrade)
A Big Fashion Statement from a Lil' Playah
Liltonyabc - Zowie! Not since Saturday Night Fever has a "Tony" looked this fashionably sexy-sweet. This head-to-toe same color suit gives Travolta's white 3-piece a serious run for its money. It starts with that Brute Jelly Helm with its awesomely coifed prismatic toupee. One can almost imagine him saying to those mean old monsters, "Would ya just watch the hair. Ya know, I work on my hair a long time and you hit it." Stylish military round shades and a prismatic com unit match perfectly with that military scarf. Ahhh, suits with scarves - there's just something about this timeless fashion statement that sets Mawashimono's feet a tingling... ahem, uh, where were we? Ah, yes.
Tony baby is also wearing a Skelly Suit with the rakishly cute folded down booties (They only look like leg warmers, but they're really boots. Right, Ian? Right??) All those choreographed fight moves can work up a real thirst, which is why it's always nice to have a military canteen on your hip. Add on two more spectacular prismatic accessories in the form of prismatic valkyrie wings and a twilight aura, which is when Tony really comes out to shine, and a fashion star is born! The Dragon Princess hopes for a chance to shake her booty with this boy real soon.
Well, it was a busy day for The Dragon Princess. She took down the Jelly King with some guildmates, and vanquished the Rabid Snarbolax Twins in their Shadow Lair with some new and old friends (No revives required, tyvm). And one of those new friends was Burnthemprisons. When Mawashimono first saw this name, she wasn't sure what to make of this player. But however doubtful the meaning of his name may be, Mawashimono has no doubts about his fighting ability. He was the star of our party - a truly skilled fighter with a variety of weapons. And it's so incongruous with his look. "Hey there! Whats'a matter, lil fella? You want a cookie?" And that precious vita kit backpack he has on - too cute!
Mawashimono was only able to grab a quick pic as this gorgeous player walked by. Just loved the colors and overall look of Dtechnik.
And here is Dtechnik in his Chapeau of the White Rose , which is describes as "An aged, feathered hat that once belonged to a Knight of the Rose, a sacred order of brave and especially dashing heroes whose numerous adventures are the subject of many folk tales. The Knights of the Rose were said to be peerless fencers, believing that their blades were like the flowers of their name: a delicate thing of beauty that hides a vicious sting."
Earlier in this thread, the Dragon Princess featured a photo and description of Pawn. Most of you know, however, that Pawn has several exemplary outfits. I finally got him into the garden studio for a photo shoot. Due to the complex beauty of each outfit, I've included both front and back views of most of the gear and the accessories visible in the window. Sometimes Pawn had two different helms on the same body or the same head on two different bodies. Thus, sometimes there is only the one view. But anyways, I hope you'll enjoy viewing them all as much as I did. (I like 6 the best.)
And finally, The Dragon Princess's Pokemon Challenge
Your teenage years may have been all about the Yu-Gi-Oh or Magic the Gathering (or for those who enjoyed, shall we say, an extended pubescent period, college as well [in the cafeteria? at a table? really? I mean, c'mon, guys...]), but your primary school years were ruled (marred? completely ruined?) by Pokemon!
Mawashimono does not know what a "spookat" is supposed to be, but she recognized this face in a heartbeat - it's her beloved Mewtwo! And this is an homage to that childhood pocket friend.
So break those cards out of that shoebox (or out of your 3-ring binder with its 9-pocket sleeves, if you were a serious collector), and smell those good times again. And if you have a Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh or other anime-inspired character look, give us a look at it so we can all enjoy it and relive some of those fond childhood memories together.
Wow im happy to see my freind Angerday on here, but i am sad that i have not been spoted =(
I've tried to get pictures of you on several occasions, but apparently the myth that vampires, especially the shadows of vampires, cannot be photographed is true. Who'da thunk it?
As the Dragon Princess was making her morning rounds, she was fortunate to spot some players dressed in some of the full versions of our world's rarer gear.
Chrishin was seen in full Groundbreaker Helm and Armor . Wiki research found that these outfits were given automatically to characters created on accounts that were registered during the Preview Event. Thus, only those knights who were among the first to brave the depths of the Clockworks own such gear.
Another rare outfit with more mysterious origins is the Ancient Plate Helm, Mail, and Shield that Tbowlo was seen in. Once again Wiki research informs us that the Ancient Plate Shield is an antique shield whose origins have been lost to the passing of time. The Armor is a suit of artifact armor that is said to have been worn by titans. Though it offers amazing protection, its incredible weight makes it cumbersome to wear. The Helm as well is a vestigial (a visible sign left by something that has vanished or been lost to time) of this Titan race; therefore, its weight makes it unwieldy to all but those with titanic strength.
Our Own Toxic Defender
Norezilla - Japan has sufferd a few natural disasaters in recent years, resulting in the destruction of many buildings and even wiping some towns completely off the map. Natural disasters, however, are not the only destructive forces Japan faces. As a result of some secret nuclear testing in the Pacific zone, creatures such as Godzilla and his ilk have risen from time to time to attack the land dwellers. What few people know, however, is that these same nuclear tests spwned some radioactive friendlies who fight on our side. Mawashimono spotted one such green-glowing soldier among our ranks. Norezilla favors a Feather Cowl held firmly in place with a toasty headband and dusky helm guards. The prismatic valkyrie wings attached to his Cobalt Armor give him extra mobility, while his ghostly aura accents his personal green color radioactive glow. But it's the combination of the proto crest with a green ward shield that really make this outfit shine. The Dragon Princess appreciates his environmental clean up efforts as much as his fashion sense.
What Is Her Final Fantasy?
IcyCloud - Although Icycloud was featured back on April 19th, a chance joining on a prestige mission allowed the Dragon Princess to see this incredible player in action. Although Icy is a woman of few words, we sat down for a little chit chat after completing the mission.
Icycloud chose her name based on the Final Fantasy VII character Cloud, a character that she says she really likes. Icycloud is also the Guild Master of Coup De Grace, one of the very best guilds in the game (and not just because that dreamy St-Leone is in it *sigh*). Although she said she wasn't really into costumes, she modeled for Mawa some awesomely cute outfits. I've posted pics below for you to enjoy.
Isn't She Lovely?
Here she is in a Lovely Bombhead Mask and Blazebreak armor with a love aura attached to give her that nice pink glow. This armored look also matches well, though far less lovely, with an Authentic Phantom Mask. And when she's feeling more festive, she slips on this Jelly Helm with a fancy hat and fancy party blowout.
I Swear CatWoman Just Walked By!
Mawashimono absolutely loved this catish outfit. It was made by combining a Spiral Culet with fancy dragon wings on the back and a Rock Jelly Helm with the full 4 accessories: a toasty headband, military vertical vents, a military scarf, and prismatic glow eyes.
If you're lucky, you'll get to see or even play with Icycloud in the game sometime. She's usually easy to spot - just look for a crowd of admirers and coo-de-grah guildies around her. Oh, and if her guild mate St-Leone is with her, could you tell him Mawashimono says "Hi"? (*blush*)
New Fashion Options
Hey, Gamers! So, we've have some new accessories available in the form of baby monsters. As the patch notes say, for 175,000 crowns, you can now get a:
- Love Puppy Monster Pocket
- Chroma Whelp Monster Pocket
- Mewkat Monster Pocket
Each monster pocket is fully animated and attaches to the front of any compatible armor.
- Mawa has used her Mewtwo character to show off her new Mewkat monster baby.
- The Dragon Princess was delighted to acquire the Chromalist snack pack. (You do know that dragons eat beasts, right?)
- And NJThug was spotted with a Love Puppy Pup.
The newest patch also made some changes for brand new players who have just arrived on our world and need to choose an initial look. The Dragon Princess created a new character ( Ryuu-No-Hime ) to check out these new options. New players can now choose one of the 3 new heights and 3 eyes options as well as 2 of the cheaper accessories for their helm. In addition to the 3 armor and 3 helm options, a new "design" option allows new players to choose a few different color schemes for their gear - a very nice improvement!

A Bright Glowing Star
Xcelestialneon - You've probably seen Celestial around Town Square or posting in the Trade Chat or Forums. He's definitely one of the neon lights in our gaming community. So the Dragon Princess wanted to take a moment to shine the spotlight on what this player likes to wear.
Xcelestialneon has combined the turquoise pallete of his personal color with some volcanic crimson gear to create a nice contrast of colors. Up top he has on a Volcanic Demo Helm to which he's attached a dusky spike mohawk, heavy mech'tennas, cool glasses, and a cool scarf. This is matched up with Volcanic Plate Mail and a dusky canteen. It's an interesting and innovative look with a style all its own.
Oriented Toward Style
Orient - Here's a pearl of great luster who's also rising in the fashion sky by having made a dashing outfit from two contrasting colors. His rich golden-colored garments are offset nicely by his personal blue color. His Gold Chapeau sets askew over matching regal glasses and regal vertical vents. The regal-colored Wolver Coat has the ulra-regal tails tails attached, while the front displays a regal canteen, extremely popular for its prismatic qualities. The overall effect is quite pleasing to the eye. Kudos for Orient, and for the Spiral Knights artistic team who came up with so many brillaint designs.
Nothing Cheesy About This Player
Chezi - This player is clearly "at home" in the world of fashion. The regal colors of his gear match nicely with the light green personal color and choice of sword. Like Orient, Chezi has the popular combination of a Gold Chap and regal vertical vents. Also like Orient, he has on glasses, but the much classier prismatic round shades. Chezi has similarly chosen to equip a tails tails, but interestingly to a Fencing Jacket. And rather than a canteen, he has chosen a regal bomb bandolier, which, depending on a player's personal color, shows off its own prismatic qualites in little strips at the bottom and a glow around the top. Tres Bon!
And speaking of "Bon", Mawashimono noticed the darling BonBonn who looked a little down. Cheer up, BonBonn, Mawa will eat you up lickity-split.
Nom-Nom-Nom (hic). Ooh, ate that a little too fast!
Evil, Elusive, and Elegant
(The following should be read in very hushed tones.)
LestatShadow - Shhhhhh . . . be very quiet, dear knight, for today we are out to capture an image very few have ever seen. Today we are on the hunt for the shadow of the shadowiest of creatures - LestatShadow. He's been haunting my thread and my knightmares, but it all ends today. Shhhhh . . . every so quietly now we shall try to find his secret shadow lair. In order to capture him on film, the Dragon Princess asked Punch and Bechamel to combine their techno-mystic abilities to creak a knight vision camera capable of photographing the infamous LestatShadow. This is what the created for me. Knowing it would be difficult to catch Lestat unawares in either her fiery or radiant forms, Mawashimono incarnated as Ryuu-No-Hime and attached the knight vision camera. Be warned, dear knights, about the shocking and frightening images you are about to see.
Lestat at work - Clothed with a vitasuit Plus to which he's attached a toasty vitakit and a mighty cobalt crest, here he is toiling in the middle of the night. The shovel in his hand is the only tool he needs and the filthy flies of an unclean aura his only companions for his ghastly grave digging activities.
Lestat at play - Here he is dressed up like some punk rock Beethoven with his Brute jelly Helm, cool mohawk, and cool round shades. Adding to his demented yet debonair appeal, he's put on Ice Queen Mail with a cool bomb bandolier and sprinkle aura. He almost looks playful here, but we shall not be fooled, for one last image remains.
Hush now, dear, knights, for we are about to see him in his deadliest and most fearsome form.
Lestat at Evil - Resembling something of a fiery cowboy, LestatShadow has on a Nameless Hat with a toasty pipe. Who knows what vile contents it contains. His armor is a Vog Cub Coat with a flaming pumpkin bomb bandolier. His volcanic dragon wings and flame aura give him an almost demonic look. Tis fearsome fashion, indeed.
Enough, enough, we have risked enough for now, dear knights.
Let us steal away
before our souls are stolen.
What has been seen
cannot be unseen,
nor, in this case, forgotten,
for tho evil he may be,
truly he is
the embodiment of elegance.

In fairness to a vampiric denizens, The Dragon Princess wanted to include this image showing Lestat's more loving, nurturing side. Surprisingly, no special camera was needed to capture this image. It seems the combination of a Mewkat baby and a love aura carries its own special magic.
[edited May 1st]
Oh, those late middle age years can be rough even on Vampiers as Lesta atttempt to show nuturing, albeit creepy, tenderness with a Jelly set with his faus pony-tail (military long feather) and fancy glasses, carrying a Baby Mewkat and encompassed by a love aura.

Lestat in Space - His blood-red eyes are clearly seen through toasty goggles as they peer out from a Quicksilver Helm. A dusky scarf and toasty mech'tennas complete his space helmet. His Vitasuit Deluxe doubles as a space suit, while a toasty vitakit and a toasty canteen carry space supplies. Too bad you can't see his twinkle aura better, as it complete his space them perfectly. "Vampires in Space" - sounds like a winning movie idea!
That commentary on Lestatshadow was awesome, and, while on the subject of vampires, since you've now found a means of photographing them in their natural environments I hope more of us (and our good taste in costumes) might be seen here soon?
Since SK featured your thread on facebook I've been following this, I have to say I'm impressed at all the creativity and care put into photographing and writing about each costume. Keep being spectacular please! And I wish they'd make a shadow wolver tail so I could complete my ultimate costume of ultimate destiny and perhaps even find myself depicted here someday *hopes that anyone with power who might be reading can make this dream of shadow wolver tails come true*
RemingtonSteely
Before he was Bond, Pierce Brosnan was Steele, Remington Steele , a suave sidekick and front man for a detective duo. He was more of the Watson to Stephanie Zimbalist's Holmes, but was still a master of action, wit, and disguise. It was his suave appeal in this mid-80's TV series that eventually earned him the starring role in the James Bond movies.
Pierce? Steele? Remington revolvers? Stylish costumes? A connection to a secret agent (Mawashimono means "secret agent" in Japanese)? One could hardly pick a better name for a Spiral Knights character! And our own RemingtonSteely more than lives up to the name. In our photo session Remington showed me about 20 different looks he is capable of. Some featured no accessories at all, but all had color-coordinated stylish appeal. I have chosen the 2 I liked best to share with you.
It's nearly impossible to look bad in a matching Chapeau and Tabard. One of Remington's looks includes includes this Violet set. Players often choose to accessorize their hat with vertical vents, dusky in this case. Showing a more nurturing side, RemingtonSteely has dopted a Love Puppy (one could hardly call it a "monster") and surrounded it with a Love Aura. "Awwww, in't that just the cutest lil' thing.? Yes, you are, you are so cute, coochy-coochy-coo, coochy-coochy-coo, mmmmm, yes, mommy loves you, mmmmm" . . . Ahem, er, dang it all, they're just too irresistible!
Mawashimono also loved Remmy's Gold Tabard look with its regal canteen and tails tails. He has matched his warrior's apron with a regal-colored spiral Demo Helm, to which he's attached a regal com unit, regal glasses, and a regal bolted vee. The Dragon Princess rarely encounters players who match up all the colors on their outfit, and who clearly enjoy the fun of fashion, as much as Remmy does. Give him a shout out next time you see him in the Town Square, especially if he's got that adorable Love Pup with him! (Lub-Lub-Lub)
The Meka'Nikals Fight Among Us
(The following might benefit from being read with a slight Spanish accent.)
No doubt you have seen squads of our warriors gathered around campfires throughout the Clockworks and on some meeshions. Eet ees our custom to tell the stories of our peoples at these campfires. Mawa-Shi-Mono wud share one wit u now.
This world we've crashed on ees not a natural world. Some force has cobbled eet together from deefferent places, and deefferent times. Some of our residents are ancient, some quite young, perhaps younger eeven than the ToS would allow. But we fight together, and thees ees what ees importante, yes?
Pero, among us there ees a legend, of a woman - a woman who ees now more than she was before. She came from a world of fire and heat, of gases and steam, full of atomic locomotives, coal-powered flying boats, and ornate submareens. Her people had technologias and vast power, es verdad. But thees power, they cud not control it, and in the end, it consumed their world. A few survived, pero, not unharmed. They had to do tings to their bodies in order to survive. They came to our world after us, thru the powers of ancient Anubis Gates, bringing Infernal Devices and new wealth to our realm. They are the Meka'Nikals. You can know them by the masks they wear, the masks of steam. One such warrior, one of their greatest, is Meka'Ella.
The climate of their former world shapes their fashion in the present one. Meka'Ella is wearing her Steam Knight Mask with a volcanic wide vee. For Meka'Nikals, toasty vertical vents are not a mere fashion accessory, but rather, a vital neccessitia to allow the release of steam and gases that eminate from their modified bodies. To control the powerful adaptions implanted inside her, Meka'Ella must wear Circuit Breaker Armor. A volcanic canteen provides cooling fluids, while her volcanic wolver tail doubles as a cooling fan. But even so, an aura of flame can be seen around her.
Who knows what sacrifices theese warriors have made, and continue to make, on our behalf. If you see Meka'Ella or one of the other Meka'Nikals in our Haven, greet them with gratitude, from a respectful distance, of course. And siesta a leettle easier knowing that such a fierce group of fighters is on our side, and not theirs.
An Icy Cool Cloud of Cuteness
Icycloud - The Dragon Princess came across this striking figure of dark beauty while most of you were still sleeping. A player of few colors and even fewer words, Icycloud cuts a formidable figure sporting the maximum 7(!) accessories. On her Firebreak Helm she's tucked a dusky ribbon behind heavy vertical vents. On the other side mostly out of view is a fancy flower, and on front there are prismatic round shades. Attached to her beautiful Snarbolax Coat are toasty wings and a cool canteen, filling out his maximum accessory limit is a twilight aura. All these combine to create an understated yet powerful image of shadowy grace and beauty.
