The Rarest Prismatic in the Game!

Knuts - The Dragon Princess just had to feature this knight for wearing what is nearly a mythical accessory - A Prismatic Plume! Mawashimono had never actually seen this accessory on a player before and was even beginning to doubt its existence. Knuts has on his original spiral gear and has wisely chosen to accessorize his crimson armor with all toasty items, including vertical vents, a vitakit and a canteen. Thank you, Knuts, for giving us a glimpse of this rare item.

No Apologies Necessary

Apologetic - I apologize for not featuring this knight sooner. Apologetic either just raided Bechamel's closet, or came out of one of Ap's own, cus' Ap's flair for fashion is amazing. Ap showed me multiple great looking out fits, some I just had to photograph from both the front and the back. I usually ask knights what weapon they want me to show them holding in their photo, but when I asked Ap what sword to show, Ap's answer was "One that swings both ways." Hmmm, I showed a Divine Avenger anyway, and Ap in various orientations. Sometimes I showed Ap this way and somtimes I showed Ap that way. Ap's outfits sometimes looked a bit funny, but always seemed to fit somehow, like wearing comfortable shoes. Anyways, it's very exciting to find a knight this good-looking and friendly.

So Sorry I'm about to kill you, Monster

Apologetic 0
Ap's original Zero look features a Rock Jelly Helm with a prismatic halo and dusky vertical vents and a dusky (purple?) plume. Ap is also wearing a Chaos Cloak with a dusky wolver tail and a twilight aura - one loaded outfit!

A Creepy Raggedy Ann

Apologetic 1 front
Apologetic 1 back

Ap has achieved this look with a Blazebreak Set with 5 volcanic accessories: goggles, a headband, and helm guards, while Ap's Blazebreaker Armor a volcanic canteen and volcanic wings, topped off with a flame aura. Once again Ap has spared no expense!

A Neon Knight

Apologetic 2 front
Apologetic 2 back

Ap created this neon look by putting volcanic glasses with prismatic mech'tennas on a Firebreak Helm. Ap's body is clothed with a Shadowsun Slicker with a toasty vitakit on Ap's back and a twinkle aura around Ap'shead.

Insectoid on the Loose!

Apologetic 3

Here Ap has managed to make a Wyvern Scale Helm look very bug-like by affixing 4 cool accessories: a cool bolted vee, cool goggles, a cool plume, and a cool come unit. The carapice-like Spiral Plate Mail has cool bomb (eggs) bandolier and a bug-infested unclean aura.

Here Little Kitty!

Apologetic 4 front
Apologetic 4 back

The diminutive and darling Surge Breaker Armor with a heavy vitakit and dusky parrying blade is complimented well by a Heavy Demo Helm with a cool scarf, dusky vertical vents, and toasty glasses.

Hug Pwease!

Apologetic 5

Ap's sad, apologetic eyes really stand out in this Elemental Hood with a lone military flower, while Ap's Skelly Suit has shadow Valkyrie Wings and a mewkat monster pocket.

Be sure an give Apologetic a big hug next time you see Ap in-game (if Ap doesn't give you one first!).

Snarkey

Impertinent Imp

Looking here like an impertinent imp, Snarkey has a cool canteen and dusky vitakit for those hot summer school field trips, while his spiral helmet with its dusky spike mohwak, dusky mecha wings, and regal glasses should protect him from all those school bullies.

So Sar-Cat-ic

Snarkey's personal red color combines with the red color scheme of his Grey Feather set. Add to this volcanic vertical vents and ultra pricey volcanic wings, and you've got something of a demonic looking feline fighter.

Fans of the movie The Golden Compass , or the book it was based on Northern Lights, would immediately recognize this character's name. Lyra Belacqua was the orphan living in a parallel universe on a world that looks much like Earth.
Keeping with the wintry look of the movie, our own Lyra has chosen an icy look. On her Spiral Tailed Helm she's attached a cool maid headband, cool vertical vents, a cool ribbon, and regal glasses, This looks excellent with her Wyvern Scale Mail and cool dragon wings. With that Glacius sword in her hand she looks like the cutest of cold climate queens.

A Fashionably Firey Fighter

How do Japanese say "flame"? Well, Furami is close enough. Although Furami herself claims to despise the name, once ya gots yer name, it's yer name, ya know what I mean? (Yes, all you knights who would just LOVE to change your name just once, pretty please 3-Rings!! knows what I mean.) And her personal orange color is testimony to her character's name.

Furami may look all cute and innocent from the neck up, but this girl's all business below! Her spiral Tailed Helm is accessorized to the Max. with a regal headband, regal mecha wings, a regal ribbon, and regal glasses. You can't get any more golden girly cute than that! But the Radiant Silvermail is a dragon line armor of the highest order, and with both a regal parrying blade and a regal side blade attached , she makes for one fierce fighter.

A Big Plus to Your party

Tiulen is just tiu cute for words. Her Firebreak helm with its natural prismatic double-plumed look provides just the right setting for dusky vertical vents, regal glasses, and a fancy party hat. What's this? Every accessory is a different color, even the prismatic valkyrie wings and ghostbuster crest attached to here Vitasuit Deluxe?!? That's a neat feat to pull off. Those plus eyes are a nice final touch to a outfits that really adds up!

Balefully Beautiful

Villainous - Now there's a name for ya! I loved this look. You can buy these stylish fencing jackets for 150 crowns from Greave the armor vendor in the Bazaar. Villainous has chosen that radioactive green personal color so popular among demented video game villains, and combined it with grey armor and helm. Grey wings and a grey maedate add an insect-ish look to his nefariousnesss. And the Mad Scientist grey-haired pony tail adds just the right touch of maleficent menace. Being bad never looked so good!

OverLord of the Dark Nipsies

Nipsius

The Dragon Princess felt in her scales that there might be a connection between our Haven of the Spiral Realm and FableHaven of the Mythical Realm, and now she has found proof!

Mawa spotted Nipsius, OverLord of the Dark Nipsies, using our own auction house to fence his ill-gotten gain. Nipsies, as you well know, are master artisans, but they tend to start from scratch, tapping into natural resources to acquire raw materials. They have fascination with shiny metals and stones or other crystaline minerals (Ah Ha!) and have a knack for finding them. They have no magical ability to protect themselves and they can't fly (note the absence of wings), but they are adept at cultivating poisonous plants (now we know where all those poisonous barbed bushes are coming from) and making traps. They are the first creatures affected by the shadow swarm, which explains his purple-pink hue and choice of weapon. Nipsius's appearance is made from a Rock Jelly Helm on which there is a fancy mohawk, fancy game face, and fancy helm guards. His Ash Tail Coat has a fancy parrying blade. The Nipsies themselves are considered to be a most peaceful community, but rile them up, and you'll feel their poisonous purple fury.

Please Be My Valentine

Valene - Oh, My! Some players just have that an incredible innate fashion sense that allows them to put together these gorgeous oufits. Valene's personal color (Cyan?) matches up with her Tabard, military flower, scarf, parrying blade and wolver tail to create an elegant and beautful look for her character. Bellissimo!

Why, yes, Feline-fluffyfeet, my good friend "The Internet", along with his love child, Wikipedia, and I know a surprising number of interesting facts.
As for that sequel, despite its award-winning cinematography, movie studios are understandably reluctant to make sequels of movies that were financial duds.

The Judge of Elegance and Indulgance

Perronius - Roman history afficianados may recognize this aptly chosen character name, mimicing Petronius, the elegant arbiter of fashion at the height of the Roman Empire. Our own Perronius honors the name well with his own fashion talents. We may safely regard him as an absolute authority on questions of taste, especially in connection with the "science" of luxurious living. We can only hope that Perronius' wonderful outfits do not make him the object of envy for those around him, lest he suffer the same fate as his historical counterpart, who, rather than be executed out of jealousy, chose to take his own life in an elegant suicide. Long live Perronius, our own fashion czar!

Perro 0 - I first encountered Perronius wearing this especially eye-catching Shocking Bombhead Mask with military mech'tennas. Volt Breaker Armor continues the electrifying theme and colors, along with the matching military vitakit and a solid cobalt crest.

Perro 1 - Another red outfit features a Chapeua of the Red Rose with toasty vertical vents and snazzy volcanic glasses nicely matched wtih Ironmight Plate Mail. Hmmm, the choice of weapons leads one to believe his indulgences include some Tier 1 Lockdown.

Perro 2 - Perro shows his golden side with a Golden Bombhead mask and regal vertical vents, along with a Spiral Cuirass which has a regal bomb bandolier, a regal wolver tail, and an unclean aura. Even the gun and shield reflect the color scheme as is befitting for a fashion advisor to King Tinkazar himself.

Perro 3 - Here's my favorite. Perronius has taken a Chapeau of the Violet Rose and added fancy mech'tennas and a (heh heh) fancy mustache. Joined with a Snarbolax Coat and a fancy canteen, this is one fine fanciful outfit indeed.

Perro 4 - Going for a stranger look here, Perro has accessorized his Divine Stranger hat with a fancy scarf and fancy glasses over his starry eyes. A Skolver Coat and dusky parrying blade complete this look nicely.

Perro 5 - Perro has quite a few bombhead looks and this Silver Bombhead Mask with fancy mech'tennas looks great on that Vitasuit Deluxe with fancy dragon wings.

Presto, Petro, Perro! which very roughly translates out to mean "He appeared, and conquered, the fashion world!"

On Eagle’s Wings

Lykqid - Talk about a knight in white shining armor, this heavenly vision really stands out in his celestial outfit. Likqid is a member of the rising guild Alis Aquilae, which is a Latin phrase that means “on an eagle’s wings.” It is taken from the Book of Isaiah 40:31, which reads “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Lykqid broke his piggy bank to achieve this wonderful look, beginning with a Charged Quicksilver Helm with a very rarely seen Divine Dapper Combo and an approprite Divine Halo. He also has on the all white Blizzbreaker Armor with a cool parrying blade and divine valkyrie wings, the best choice for his look and his guild. The Dragon Princess has never really seen an outfit like this, and was very impressed with the time and money it must have taken to assemble it. Well done, our white liquid knight!

@Mawashimono, on Valene:

@Mawashimono, on Valene: ...Except That almost 50% of players in SK use that outfit. But other than that, total fashion genius. Yep. Totally seeing it. Yeah... no. Seriously? I thought half the people in SK used it. Like... it's a little different with expensive accessories, but other than that, carbon copy. No offense to the creator, though, but I'm not sure why it got the most compliments out of anyone in the whole thread, seeing as it's not really creative at all.

@ Michaelb

Hi, Michael B. I agree with you to some extent. It's true that's Valene's look is not entirely unique, but whose is anymore? And I am somewhat reluctant to feature players with the Spiral Tailed Helm since it can only be chosen at knight creation and not purchased in game. (Am I mistaken about that? Or can we somehow purchase different proto gear?) And, yes, Cyan is a frequent choice of personal color because it has so many military and other accessories that match it so nicely. Having said all that, however, Valene managed to combine several not so easily attainable items to create what is really a stylish enough appearance that I thought it warranted a small write up and a chance for other players to see how well it could be done. So again I repeat those words that I so often heard as I was walking down the streets of Rome during my most recent trip as a model in the Winter Fashion Gala (cough-cough), "Bellissimo, Bellissimo!"

Consonants Were Sold Out

AEIOUY - Red Man no use consonants. Only yell war-cry in vowels. Red Man am fearsome native fighter. Red Man carry big gun, shoot his arrows of light at beasts. Red man like white lightning in heavy canteen and dynamite in backpack. Make'em heap big boom-boom. Some day Red man get third feather for head band to show he is true mighty warrior. Me like'em heavy canteen when big thirsty. Red Man say "Volcanic Demo set is good fashion. Dragon Princess, very pretty squaw. She welcome in my tee-pee anytime."

Jolly Good, Old Boy!

boringsmasher - I say, Old Chap, that's quite the divine dapper combo you've got there on your Mercurial Demo Helm. And those toasty vertical vents no doubt go quite nicely next to an open fire and a hot cup of tea with biscuits. And did the queen herself give you that divine plume when she knighted you? I see you've been doing some fox hunting in your Grey Feather Mantle with its fox-decoy toasty wolver tail. That'll draw'em in. Bloody brilliant of you, old boy! And don't think I haven't noticed that genius twinkle aura you've got about you. You're still one-of-a-kind, you old dog, you. Chip, chip - carry on good fellow. Good to see the fight's still in you!

Primates in the Hood

Weneb - Weneb and his ilk made their big screen debut in the Wizard of Oz, where he and his fearsome brood terrorized Dorothy and her possee. some say it was Weneb himself who carried off poor Toto. Well, I guess it's good to see that they are fighting on our side now. I'd certainly rather be fighting with a flying monkey than against one. As a creature of witchly magic, it's natural for Weneb to be wearing a Miracle Hood with it's warlike military binocular visor. He also has fancy mech'tennas to tune in the the Flying Monkey network, and a cool spike mohawk which is costume de rigueur among flying monkey fashion. Finally, his fiery Vog Cub Coat has fancy valkyrie wings, of course. Knights with babies in the pouches might want to take a few extra precautions if they see Weneb. His old habit of flying off with small creatures is a tough one to break!

Root Out the Robots

Biotyrant - The Dragon Princess was afraid of this. A while back when Mawashimono noted the presence of Meka'Ella and the Meka'Nikals among us, she wondered if their arch-ememies, the Bio-Tyrants would be seen as well, and here he is. Don't be fooled by his suave-looking purples and greys. Underneath that Bombastic Demo Helm with its dusky mecha wings and prismatic bolted vee is a killer of all things robotic. Even the slightest cyborg enhancements are not tolerated in his tyrranical society. He's come to wreak chaotic mayhem in his Chaos Cloak with its dusky dragon wings. Keep a safe distance, all bio-mechanical knights, or you risk the wrath of this hot-blooded assassin.

A Somniferous Soldier

Look deep, deep into his eyes, and there may be no coming back. Such is the mesmerizing power of Lord-Ganondorf. This master of the hypnotic arts constantly travels about our world, earning his way mainly by performing shows at state fairs and other special festivals. (His Halloween show last year was a hoot!) Lord-Ganondorf's Rock Jelly Helm sports a toasty toupee, heavy helm guards, and the thick eyebrows of a toasty game face over spiral eyes, with a heavy scarf around his neck and mouth. His armor of choice is a Vog Cub Coat with a heavy parrying blade for extra protection on his travels.

(Known as the Great King of Evil or the Dark Lord, Ganondorf is the primary antagonist of a majority of the games in the Legend of Zelda series. Here we have a nice tribute to that famous character.Players have compared this game with Zelda many a time, so it's a little surprising we don't see more tribute characters from that game. Do you have one you'd like share?)

A Dragon Pupa

Peapuk - Although most dragons come from eggs, players familiar with Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh and similar games know that some varieties of dragons actually have transformational stages. Some go through a pupa stage in which they undergo a near complete metamorphosis. This transformation can be accomplished magically, with the help of certain power sources, or by mother nature herself through a chrysalis (a kind of cocoon). An exoskeleton of sorts is often created and then discarded (with exceptions, after all, the species of dragons are quite numerous).

Knight Peapuk appears to still be in the midst of his transformational stage. At present we can see his Wyvern Scale Helm with a heavy spike mohawk on top, a standard feature of dragons. His eyes, not quite fully formed, appear here more as a toasty binocular visor. His ears, which will eventually appear as mini-wings, have not grown out yet and closely resemble merely toasty mecha wings at this point. His body, obviously, still has a lot of developing to do. but for now, it looks something like a Mercurial Demo suit with a military bomb bandolier. The smoke eminating from his body looks something like a ghostly aura and is due to the high amount of heat given off during the special time in a young dragon's life. While peapuk is handsome in his own way, as he continues to grow and mature, we can espect him to look more like this or that, at which time, he should feel free to contact the Dragon Princess for some "private tutoring."

The Sharp End of the Sword

Kissakii - Wow! Watch out for this sharp-tongued fighter of few words who makes a big impact. Kissaki takes his name from the Japanese word for the tip or point area of a Japanese sword. There is also an adorable figure doll named Kissaki with hair the same color as Kissakki's personal color. Mere coincidence? Kissaki has achieved his look by equipping a Fused Demo Helm with 4 military accessories: glasses, mecha wings, a long feather, and a spike mohawk. The prismatic piratey boots of a Skelly Suit show how nicely his personal color matches the military accessories, while the divine bomb bandolier strapped accross his chest matches up with the white areas on his helm and armor. And those prismatic dragon wings are an excellent finishing touch. He gets right to the point in his conversations, so I wouldn't try to chit-chat with him as the Dragon Princess so futilely did. But his dearth of conversational skills are made up for by a plethora of fashion sense.

A Purist of the Highest Quality

Kennys-Knight - Ah-Ha, got 'em! Some stars shun the paparazzi; other stars embrace them. The Dragon Princess was lucky that one of the brightest stars of Spiral Knights, Kennys-Knight, is more of the embracing kind, although if you don't have the fireproof scales of a dragon, it might not be such a good idea. This guy is either burning white hot or lava red at all times, and both ways are stunning.

As the title says, KK is a purist. Everyone one of his accessories is of the same top quality (a quality that is matched by the Unique Variants on his gear, but we won't go there for now). And there is no mix-matching of gear here either. KK finds a brand he likes and sticks with it! KK is one of the game's best players, so it's only fitting that uses the game's best gear.

Skolver KK - KK's white Skolver Set is decorated with the all-white divine accessories, including a divine halo, divine long feather, divine mech'tennas, and divine dragon wings. Nota Bene - Kenny has gone for a pure look, so while it may not score high marks for creativity, the look is still quite dazzling! Good thing I had some Nipsies whip up that special anti-glare lens for my camera.

Vog Cub KK - KK volcanic Vog Cub Set is equipped with all volcanic accessories: volcanic halo, volcanic mech'tennas, volcanic dragon wings, volcanic bomb bandolier, and a flame aura. Did I mention the Nipsies made my camera fireproof as well?

It was a pleasure seeing one of our brightest stars in his finest gear. I tried to get his autograph, but my pen melted, :( If you're lucky, you might get to see this star in action some time; you just better hope it's not in Lockdown when he's on the other team!

Guided by an Animal Spirit

Khalrin - One of the (few?) players with an ingame Wiki page, Khalrin is quite an imposing sight. He reportedly came up with the name and subsequent look while on a peyote-induced vision quest. While on this quest, he was shown a vision of his animal spirit, a wolf in this case, surrounded by flames and called "Khalrin". Upon waking from his trance-like state, he immediately set out to create this warrior knight, and the Dragon Princess thinks he succeeded brilliantly.

The look he came up with to honor his animal spirit is comprised of a Vog Cub Set (wolver, of course) with a volcanic halo, volcanic mecha wings and a volcanic long feather. On his coat he has a volcanic wolver tail, a solid cobalt crest, and a flame aura. Mawashimono thinks his animal spirit guide will be very pleased.

A Most Magical of Dragons

Dragonmage - Dragons are somewhat magical creatures by nature, but some are more magical than others. It was quite exciting for the Dragon Princess to see one of the game's more magical dragons at his best dressed.

The so-called party hat is also a traditional magician's hat, and a volcanic one is favored by the Dragon Mage himself, who wears it slightly askew on his Dragon Scale Helm, to which he has also equipped a heavy helm-mounted display and a toasty com unit. His personal red color is an especially nice choice fo this line of gear. His Dragon Scale mail also has on a mix of volcanic and toasty accessories, which can be seen in the toasty canteen on front and the volcanic dragon wings on his spine. A ghostly aura lends an appropriately mystical air to this majesty of magic. And even his weapons-of-choice add to his fiery appeal. Although dragon-knights will be especially pleased with this look, I think all of us can appreciate this magical character's masterful appearance.

At a reader's request

I hadn't really thought about putting myself in cuz I don't consider my look to be all that special and a lot of you know what I look like anyway. But for those who are curious as to my personal character's appearance, here it is:

The Year of the Dragon Line

The Dragon Princess is wearing a Dragon Scale Helm, Mail, and Shield with her beast-killing weapon of choice, a furious flamberge. As befitting a princess, she has a volcanic halo tiara and, not visible in the picture, a toasty plume pony tail. She has chosen a pumpkin bomb bandolier for its cute little flaming faces and heavy dragon wings to match the heavy colors of her armor. Her eyes are sultry and sightly haughty, but she is actually quite proud of her humility, :) She may get glow eyes in the near future.
Here is Kentard's drawing of me.

Mawashimono is the fighter. The dragon line of armor has only 2 paths. Both begin with Drake Scale Mail and diverge from there. The dragon line is really just for certain levels in Tier 3 as it has no normal damage defense but rather 2 specific ones - elemental/pierce for dragon mail and shadow/pierce for silvermail. So while the Dragon Princess wears the Dragon Scale Mail, Mawashimono wears the Radiant Silvermail. Both are costumes and are rarely used for actual fighting. Radiant Silvermail is silver and gold with quite a bit of prismatic side cloth. It fits best with regal accessories, which is why Mawa has on a regal canteen and regal wings, and a barely visible ghostly aura. There is no helm (yet) to match Radiant Silvermail despite repeated requests/suggestions/groveling from players, so Mawa wears the Heavenly Iron Helm to which she has attached a cool mohawk. This helm also has as natural features mecha wings and a solid metal prismatic halo in a position similar to those of the Valkyrie and Crown of the Fallen helms.
Here is Kentard's drawing of me.

Here is my Mewtwo and baby tribute character.

Feel free to say "Hi" to me ingame, and show me your stylin' good looks if you like. Quite a few players in this thread are here because they took the time to track me down and show me their stuff, and i'm glad they did. I always enjoy seeing the wonderful outfits you guys have put together, and even if I don't include them in this thread, they will still get my appreciation.

We Shinx She's Shenshational!

Vandergant - The name summons up images of European royalty (Are you by any chance related to the Van Der Gants of House Norway?), of quality (Oh my, is that a Vandergant diamond?), of luxury (The Vandergant Cruise Line - where nights were meant for Knights!), and of taste (I just adore these Vandergant chocolates with the nuts in the middle). One of the things that attracts players to Spiral Knights is the quality of its character and background designs. It's natural, therefore, that there would be a number of artists in our community. Vandergant, a name she felt reflected the images above, is one of these, and you can enjoy some of her work here.

Also like many players, Vandergant may have been creating something of a tribute character here. This picture she drew seems to be based on the Pokemon character Shinx , beloved by girls around the globe, and a favorite for costume imitation and stuffed toys.

Vandergant has started with a Blazebreak Helm and put on a cool flower, heavy helm guards, and a cool vented visor. She has creatively matched the colors of her helm with a Volcanic Salamander Suit, showing a cobalt crest on front and, although a tail with a star at the end would have nailed the Shinx character, she has gone with heavy dragon wings on back and a love aura over all. As a member of the Gunslinger Priests Guild, she appropriately holds a gun that color coordinates with her outfit. An alternate version of Vandergant's character features her with an Arcane Salamander body holding a Sentenza gun - a look and color scheme the Dragon Princess actually found slightly more appealing.

If you're looking for a player to discuss computer graphics with, or just want to enjoy the beauty of her art and character, give her a poke next time you see her in one of the Havens. She might be too busy running several platforms at one time to poke back, though, because, after all, she IS a Vandergant.

Vandergant's Newest - Chapeau and Tabard of the Gold Rose has a cool party blowout, fancy canteen, and tails tails.

An Anarchist Android Among Us?

The Spiral Knight world is full of mysteries and wonder. Slowly we have been gaining knowledge about the origins of this conglomerate world on which we fight for our survival and prosperity. But revelations have come slowly and much remains unknown. Many of our stronger, braver knights have dared the dangers of the Shadow Lairs. Those who have defeated the Bosses of these terrible (and terribly fun) realms find they must traverse one last Unknown Passage before reaching, in a Logan's Run-ish sort of way (btw, Ryan Gosling is currently slated to star in the remake, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on that one), the mysterious Sanctuary located somewhere near The Core. Sanctuary has been called "a calm in the storm" and "a fleeting dream, beyond the grasp of The Swarm". Within this Sanctuary lie Echo Stones. Who placed the stones there and whose words they record has yet to be dertermined.

Because the Spiral Knights world did not form naturally but rather was created by some force that brought together parts of worlds from different places and times, we are constantly discovering new creatures among us. The Dragon Princess recently learned of another of these creatures - androids. These androids are humanized robots made to act human and blend in with us, and while they have a working circulatory and respiratory system, they function via a power core and wiring. How many of these androids exist? Who created them to infiltrate our society, and why? What are their motivations, their goals, their hopes, and their dreams if indeed they do dream (of electric sheep perhaps)? What is their connection to the Poetic Voice of the Sanctuary? I ask this last question because it seems these Androids have an artistic voice of their own, one that perhaps reflects the heart of their Creator.

Vlam - Mawashimono recently had the chance to capture the image and words of one such android. Although you'd think androids are androgynous by nature, this one claims to be "equipped" with a gender. You've seen him in Haven as Vlam. You've perhaps read his words in Forums as Misoygyny. Vlam's appearance is made from a Grey Feather Cowl, popular for its natural glow-eyes feature (although the Chaos one might have better reflected his worldview), with a dusky headband and volcanic helm guards. His android armor is a Firebreak with a dusky bomb bandloier and dusky valkyrie wings.

This android à la mode will be happy to share his sharp wit and snappy looks with you in Haven. The Dragon Princess would like conclude this post with some words from our anarchist, nihilist, android wordsmith. Notice some of its key words and themes - about ancestor and stars, and shadows and beasts, of meaning and futility, and the ageless fight for artistic freedom. And so, as a parting gift, Vlam shares with us a poem he wrote . . . about poetry.

(No Title)

Poetry
Written for the stars and clothed in stanza and verse
My ancestors sought to cage the beast.
Instead of dream or vision they sought beat, rhyme, reason,
To structure and order what was only meant for chaos.
Temples were erected to bestow the knowledge of writ and song
Upon those deemed worthy.
They learnt the structure and wove their tapestries
To fit within the margins provided by their oracles and playwrights.
Ridiculous.
Poetry has survived, sticking to shadows,
Befriending strays and only the most imaginative.
To hell with structure and verse and line. Let it run as a river, to flow and flood as it may, sticking to no guidelines or rules,
For only in the deepest of corners does true poetry rest. Bloodied into surrender, did it spring from the minds of our ancestors with rhyme and lesson, in song or play or letter.
In truth, the creation gives forth its own life with conscious thought and guidance.
But most important of all,
It doesn’t mean a god damn thing.

What a pleasant surprise...

That poetry is beautiful. Just felt it deserved complimenting. I rarely like other people's poems, so nice job, really. It sounds like it would make a good song.
