- You're only talking about the people who have done everything in the game, it's only natural they want new content. Finding new tricks and strategies is the only way to keep the game alive for these people. And again, exploiting glitches is wrong, pretty much the only thing I agree with. And again, the game is all about gear progression so wanting more gear is the intention.

-Yes, because how we play a FTP game on Steam and your obviously borked view of American citizens shows the moral values of America.

If this wasn't intended, OOO would've nerfed stuff or changed the game to be more difficult or to force players to do it the 'right' way. Besides, we now have a harder version of vana that that tactic doesn't work too well on anyway.

If I wanted to twist your words, I wouldn't have quoted the original post. This is merely my interpretation; You stated earlier that all anyone ever cares about is gear and weapons, yet you state that the only reason you do vana is to get gear and weapons. You're either using your previous stance saying that gear isn't everything and therefore belittling the content because that's all you think it's for, or you've forgotten what you were trying to say halfway through your argument.

Also, the GM's can read, and are well aware of Vanaduke's reduced difficulty because of Shiver+Blitz, as with many other exploits that they've been fixing or trying to fix. We recently saw an update that prevents people from doing both sides of one of the FSC floors and various sprite bugfixes. Not to mention Darkfire Vana is, according to the wiki, immune to shivermist, which means the devs were aware of this easy mode and took it away for the hardcore version.

They also value the player's opinions; why else would they have surveys, and actually bother to have a suggestions forum, a bug reports forum, and even a forum at all? But instead of just straight up insulting everyone who uses a tactic, why don't you just say your opinion on why you don't like it in a respectable way, and perhaps suggest how the game can be improved so that it isn't as cheap a tactic?

Ah. I think I see what he's getting at. He's pissed off that no one will carry him through Vana because he can't contribute anything during the match. Well, guess what? I got sick of carrying 4 man teams through P5 Vana with my AP long ago. I go up/solo if the team is just gonna be a liability.

Also, shivblitz is king in pug groups for one reason; it's the one tactic that idiots can do with a low chance of failure. You want to sword takedown with pugs? Ha. Join a decent guild or get some friends together for that. Better yet, do it yourself. That seems popular these days.

There aren't any likely game breaking bugs in FSC from what I can remember. Just the odd AP/Polaris trickshotting wheels. Your friend is just good.
