Only a month from where they are now? I would have prescribed at least two, three for the suggestions subforum.

There is a heat increasing upgrade available but it costs more than the mist tank can hold alone.

There is an attachment feature for mail, it is somewhat visible in the bottom right corner of the letter.

You want new areas? Design them and what is available in them.

This has been discussed before and promoted by my own experiences in games with completely different mechanics such as Wakfu and Dofus. In Spiral Knights it would be unbalanced to have this for open combat, though in a certain thread in a certain post it may create an interesting atmosphere for two opposing factions with opposite abilities to conflict on a battlefield. For regular gameplay, no; for only one person in a player versus player minigame, maybe.

It's logic.

The balance in SK is fairly delicate. One step in the wrong direction and the whole game'd screw itself over.

And half of your ideas have already been implemented ages ago. The other has been discussed, and the last is OP.

Your ideas don't have two-ways about them. Therefore not critical, seeing as there's only one path. It's a dead end. There's no 'maybe'.

What Aemicus means is that you should play the game LONGER and get a better idea of the way the game works, as well as reading the wiki and 'spectating' the forums before trying to post suggestions.

Because either they've been discussed/shot down or deemed not suitable for the game.

Find a gap in the game good enough to make a suggestion worth fighting for, THEN you will see critics.

With this thread, all you'll see are irritated posters shooting down your ideas with high powered sniper rifles, because there isn't much to discuss other than telling you why it's not going to work.

As a fellow minecraft to SK player, I'll help you out on the forums.

But you have to be careful of what you say here. Unlike the minecraftforum where it's a community of millions who see millions of random faces go by, this place is much smaller, and you're much more well known. This can work for you or against you. Minecraft also does not have an age limit, while this game does. So people here expect you to act older than 13.
If you disrupt the forums (by posting spam or not well thought out ideas) it will bite you in the butt. There are already a few users here who are well known for their disruptive nature.

Anyway, welcome to the forums. So far you've met:
Me, the optimist, but dogmatic rambler.
Psychodestroyer, the (person who can change their opinion very quickly of you if you say the wrong thing) dude that is pretty smart.
Aemicus, the crazy (and sometimes VERY ANGRY :P) person who I don't see all that much but might be funny every now and then
and Luguiru the guy who will post a very honest and well written report on your idea, even though it might be so mean it makes you cry.

A lot of the time you're disagreeing with ideas I post. That's not a bad thing. Maybe we just don't share the same mindset.

But seriously I'm going to talk about your fourth point because like everyone else said the first three are redundant/inane.

The balance of this game is that everything has pros and cons (except wolver armour for some gawd-aweful reason).
We already have self boosts in the form of trinkets. They fall into three rough categories; health, defense, or offense. Having only two slots makes you choose which you want, hence the cons of not having all the bonuses.
As for buffing teammates one could argue that any status inducing weapon gives your team an advantage. But you seem more of the idea that you want a direct buff. For this to work in any way it must be balanced.

For example
A team defense buff may include med bumps to all four major damage types with very high reductions to dmg and asi/ctr
This could replace your shield and work like the extended guardian shield but without the delay. The defense would be good for a squad who has trouble dodging and just need that little bit extra to stay alive.

All about balance. High reward needs higher risk. Lower rewards can keep a lower to none risk

That is true but it is not low enough to make a significant difference in T2 and T3. Now if it had the defense of the star level below it currently has that would make more sense. Do more damage but take more damage.

Trikets give you damage bonuses for some weapons, and heart trikets give you health bonuses. Then there are UVs, which give special bonuses as well. And some armor give speed bonuses (Ex: Mecurial Set)

Pity that really, I used to be a lot nicer.

However, my 'hate' list is really short. It's not VERY easy to get on my 'bad opinion' side, but to get on my BAD side...that's somewhat hard really.

It takes anything from incessant raging, refusal of wrongdoing, racist/sexist/category-ist banter, among a few. They're mostly extreme-ish things anyway, so you don't really need to watch your back about it, just don't be a [posterior] and I'll probably leave you alone :)

Many moons ago I was one of those guys that would try to put in constructive feedback for everything that came up in the Suggestions Forum. Then stuff came up - trolls (search "Bluebrawler" or "oh god why seriously") and people who decided that they didn't want to hear what I had to say because they thought I was being mean or some crap like that. I exploded in fiery rage (see this thread) and now I'm on the path to recovery. I don't post on every thread, but I'm still generally quick to shoot down the ones I consider bad, provide information on the ones whose creators I sense to be ignorant, and build on those I find interesting. There are times I deem threads too cruddy for me to even bother with, and other times when I feel that threads are developing fine without my input.

Oftentimes you may find that I seem a little harsh, but most likely I will have provided reasoning I consider ample. It's rare that I'll change my views, especially negative ones. I'm the founder of the guild [Crusher of Dreams] and I wear the label proudly under my name to warn would-be Suggestions posters that people may not like their ideas.

...Alright so maybe people actually don't have any idea that the name holds significance, but whatever.
