What crap. Any person with competent knowledge of this game would know that very high on a weapon is equivalent a to max on armor.
So it comes down to the uv kind. Freeze is redundant on skolver since it already gives freeze res
But CTR VH on brandish is probably one of the best uv/equipment combo.
And anyone who could remotely afford it could craft it up to five star.
The brandish is obviously worth more, any competent player would know that.

I suspect it is the cause of several ideas.

1) You haven't been playing for very long therefore you do not have enough experience to properly acquiesce the situation.
2) Several of your original points were simply misinformed.

Yes, because no one is ever tried to do that. Here's a secret: it doesn't work. There is literally nothing you can do, bar not purchasing any Crystal Energy, that would make a significant impact - and Crystal Energy petitions never work. You are also vastly overestimating how many players actually browse the forums. You cannot take a stand against someone when you have nothing to bargain with.

No, that's wrong, actually. A Brandish with a Charge Time Reduction Very High goes for, on the current market, about 22-25k Crystal Energy. 30, if you're lucky. That Skolver with Freeze Maximum would be lucky to go for 8k CE given it already has maximum Freeze resistance as a set.

I am a F2p player too, OP. I have been here since Snarbolax patch, just before the Steam userbase came. I have now completed my Arsenal... which I could make when King of Ashes hit, quite easily. So I have no use for CE, I am "free".

Now, I can just play with my mist tank. I could grind again King of Ashes maybe, but it is way too boring. If there was another way to get 7k+ crowns in a sort of short run (because due to the situation my interest in the game plummeted, as I can't enjoy it and can't do ANYTHING with my Crowns, Punch rolls don't interest me nor PvP) I would run it. I would also craft a few things for that thing called "fun", but can't with the current price without tearing a hole in my pocket and, again, running THAT dungeon.

Still, I really wonder one thing: what is the motivation of keeping the price so high? 5* players like me already have everything, why can't they just make the game experience for others better? I get that "it is my money, I want X for my energy"... but what for? Punch rolls? Wouldn't it be better to just acquire an Elevator Pass and play the game for crowns? I think of CE of actual donations to OOO, personally. Also, what do endgame people do while in the game? And what will happen once the new missions and danger missions come? Most likely you new players won't be able to play it, and endgame players will go back to run King of Ashes for the Xth time when they don't get enough payment for them...

I am sorry that you came in such a time in this game's life. I understand that you can't play it, and the only thing I can tell is one thing: have a bit of patience and wait for the next patch. Depending on how it unfolds, this game will either get a horrible reputation (due to word of mouth of the countless new players leaving) or actually be praised. Just don't leave now, it is still a good game, as you say.
