I actually considered that option, but there are two points in favor of Vita Plus:
1. The colors in Vita Plus match the helm (if not exactly, then really close) MUCH better than those in the standard Vita.
2. The accent gray color in the standard Vita is lighter than Vita Plus, making the browns (which appear in relatively equal amounts in both) more noticeable.
The straps on the helmet are also the same color and style as those on the Vita series, so the outfit sort-of flows making the brown problem less severe (but a Heavy Bomb Bandolier is something I'm considering).
I think that if I can get all the accessories I want on it, they'll be (all Heavy-themed): Glasses, Headband, Com Unit, Bomb Bandolier, Vitakit. Unfortunately, not all of these are available in the AH currently and I don't have SpiralSpy to show how it would look.

Soarel and fashion are like trying to stick the square shape into the triangle (you know the kids game).
First off, the helmet and armor don't match all that well to begin with. Even if they grey on the armor kinda matches the grey on the helmet, the armor has just too much volcanic on it compared to the helm. The scarf is a little too blue, the halo and Sun Crest don't match and your PC could be better as vermillion. Glow eyes are nigfty though. Volcanic or Heavy (especially this one) won't help. 'Tennas make no sense on dragon scale.
Poke, you know I dislike these things and I'd appreciate it if you avoided doing it. vmv
Ubdernerd, I have NO idea how you think the 2* vita matches better lmao. It has too much brown compared to the other. But if you don't agree, then just go with it. :P
Vitakit has white on it that has no place there and I don't suggest getting it.

Yep. Heavy Bando on front. Heavy... something on back. Wings, dragon or valk would both work I think.
Helmet is up to you. Stick to heavy. I suggest a headband to get some brown in.

due to my computer being a troll, i can only get on the forums at this time. Sorry no images, but i do have a few outfits to share.
Purple personal color :3
1) Fancy Pants:
Seraphic Mail with Fancy Parrying Blade and Fancy Valk Wings and a Spiral Tailed Helm.
2) Draconic Monk:
I wear this the most. Divine Veil with Deadly Virulisk Suit with Mewkat Pocket, Prismatic Dragon Wings and Ghostly Aura
3) Seerusly Showing Off:
Perfect Seerus Mask with Snarby Coat (max fire and max shock) and BTS or Crest of Almire
4) Cooked Jelly Invader from Outerspace (and the future):
Vog with regal parrying blade (wish i keept it as a dusker or ashtail :/) and rock jelly helm with military vented visor.
5) Over Polished Knight:
Quick Silver Mail and Divine Guardian Helm (needs work)
So, what cha think?

First one sounds good as long as the helm is fancy-themed.
My Suit. :' ) But, the veil doesn't really match it since it's divine.
Snarby coat is shadow and doesn't match the volcanic/divine mask.
Those are ALL different themed. So no.
Eeh, can't visualize it too good but I believe there's a lot of loose colors.

Metal Sonic outfit
I've been wondering if this outfit would finally make a Sonic set shine as it has been my goal since the promo.
So when I got my Sonic set from buying Sonic CD on Steam in Jan, I wondered what would work with it.
For the helm:
-I figured out Prismatic Glow Eyes was a must, so that's easily 1 out of 3 helm accessories.
-I enjoy scarves so I picked Dusky because of its light gray colour which blended in with the jaw's colour, also, any other colour would have some gray showing on the back.
-I was wondering if I should have succumbed to using bolted vees until the Guardian Pack came along and I found the last helm piece, the Arcane Aura, the beautiful shade of blue just made it worth being part of the outfit
-For the eyes I've used Vacant to stick true to "Metal Sonic" himself.
Now we're done with the helm, now we move onto the armour:
-I've tried to not think of adding these wings to the set, as expensive as it is anyways but prismatic wings with a red personal colour would help bring out the red of the shoes.
-A parrying blade, either cool or once again, prismatic.
-Finally, a Twilight Aura for more vibrancy.
For a hated set, I think this could actually work and change views.

Volc halo on Volc Demo would look good ofc, since well, it's a halo, and it's volcanic, but for extra matchy I suggest amber/orange personal color.
Qbul, violet. On that drake scale/angelic. Your current one is fine for the first and the first outfit is better anyway.
Erasus, you have a red flag from start: it's just a set! Nothing creative, just a pre-made outfit.
I can see where you're going with the accs though and I think they're fine. The parry would be prism. I think that would look ok, except for the yellow left out on the hands. So yeah, accs are fine but the armor and helmet themselves are nothing special.
Guys, I'll be adding an advanced section to the guide. In the last months I've managed to develop a more and more clear idea on the most advanced and creative SK fashion possible, and I think I'm beginning to master it, there's little I've yet to learn, therefore I'll share my knowledge on this level. Will take a bit to write up and stuff though.

2) XD did i really get that from you? Lol i use divine cause i'm too lazy to get a deadly virulisk mask, although i want one... XD
3) This one is just for showing off that i beat OCH and have max shock and max fire on my snarby, not for looking good, though i find the red in the snarby pulls it together a bit with the red on the mask though i need some white on the snarby to balance it. though i hate the personal color stripe of purple on the seerus mask >n<
4) Yeah, though with the grey rock jelly and ashtail, it kinda works, but i had to make it a vog so i wouldn't accidently get the wrong snarby when i did the snarby SL, *sighs* Also it is an inside joke with some friends from when i started i had a wolver and brute jelly helm as my only non proto gear and was given my first accessory. (the military vented visor, which only has one color, grey xD)

Now I know you said no Vitakits because of the white, but do you think it's acceptable in this instance since there's a similar color (I know it's not exactly the same) on the armor? I don't really think I want to put any sort of wings on this costume. I'm going for a sort of Technician/Medic look (hence the Headband/Com Unit and Vitakit) and I just don't think they'd fit.

Hastur, depends on what kind of look you want. Otherwise, I've found many things to quite match the armor however not /fully/ match it. I just looks good really. :P But give me a theme and I'll give you some variants.
Velcro, TAILS TAILS IS THE SPAWN OF THE DEVIL YOU TAKE THAT HONK AND THROW IT RIGHT IN BECHAMEL'S BINO F BAD THINGS. It just ruins this whole costume. Otherwise, the helmet should be the 3* as it has red on the back. The headband is fine and I like how you matched the dark teal. However, while with the visor you might've tried to match the white bits on the armor, the color is off and excesive compared to that on the armor so I suggest removing it. I like how the electron looks with it. vwv
That's not bad Fehzor. I can see why'd you put these together. However, there's still some loose colors like the divine on hands and the excessive white, as well as the halo on the helmet. I suggest some divine accs on the helmet, but for the armor there's nothing I can think of right now.

That doesn't help. Your helmet is cool and you stuck cool accs on it. Your armor is dusky and you stuck dusky accs on it. It's two different things mashed together.
Maybe if you put cool accs that bring in colors from the helmet on the armor, and vice versa with dusky accs that bring violet on the helm, that would help but then again you can't just mash the accs on.

Because I am an approval junkie:
Not sure how common this combo is - I haven't seen many others, but I'm skeptical to say that no one else has noticed how well the Imperfect Mask of Seerus lines up with the Ironmight Plate Mail body - so I wouldn't be too surprised to find that this is a very popular fish in the sea. I decided to be minimalist when it came to accessories, since I find the style of over-loading every accessory slot of a Wolver set with wings, ears, tails, and everything/anything else available tends to be a particularly offensive eyesore.
Because of that, my costume may be too simplistic.

Try a Chaos Hood, though it doesn't look that great from the back on a tabard, but.. I can't think of any other dusky helms ATM.

I came up with this one last week. It was pretty cheap too!
It's just a 3*angelic helm with 5*bombastic armor with a few common accessories. The goggles and bolted vee are fancy, but the canteen is... dusky? maybe cool, I don't remember... but it looked better than the fancy canteen because of that weird greenish-grey color on the legs needed to be in there.

There is but one problem with me putting divine accessories on my helmet. The only divine accessories that fit on it are either terrible looking, or silly rare. Given that I can't control OOO into dumping 20 divine flowers onto the featured auctions in order to get one of those, I don't see myself adding any divine accessories, although you are correct in that that would bring it together more.

Virtuewis, the helmet and armor kinda match (helm is too light), however the fancy accessories, I do not agree with them. The vee makes no sense. The purple is off too. That outfit is dusky, for whatever accs you plan to put on it next, remember that.
And Fehzor, that's true, sadly. Most divine accs are odd-colored. :(
I think mecha wings did the job best tho.

Eh, thought so.
I added the 'toasty wide vee' thinking it made it look like the helm had short horns of some sort; I felt the vanilla helm looked so vacant without anything there - do you think I should just find another color, or scrap it altogether?
Dark teal as a personal color? I don't think that's an option, otherwise I would have done that to match the suit under the red/white plate sections. I chose Vermilion because a lot of my weapons tend to have a red/orange glow. Would you go with something close like blue or ultramarine, or something lighter like turquoise, cyan, sky, cobalt, etc.?
The crest: it was the first thing I added because it didn't cost anything - it had red, white and something like dark grey so I thought it would sync with the costume. Guess not - can't find anything with a closer color scheme (my other idea was to use the 'cobalt crest'), so would you recommend scrapping it as well?
Interested in your critique, cool thread BTW.

Cobalt creates a good enough illusion I think.
Scrap, I recommend. Crests don't look good on plate line in general anyway. Imo.

Radiant Silvermail
I want to wear radiant silvermail with a crest of summer and (If I can find them) regal wings, however I cannot find any matching helms that are yellow/golden like the Radiant Silvermail besides Wolver and Spiral Demo. I do not like either of these helms. (Chapaeus are not an option. I don't have 15k CE to spare) maybe the Grey Feather Cowl could work? The armor does have some black/grey on it.

I said that I do not like the Spiral Demo because it makes my head look small. Also, it makes me look feminine whenever I'm wearing anything such as Silvermail or Valk mail. I already have to say "It's not a dress! It's a robe!". I think it only looks good when paired with its respective armor. Stranger hats look strange, wolver caps are overused.

well the only other helm that looks "kinda" regal is Scary Skelly Mask, but idk about it.
Other option is to maybe get a helm with a theme that matches the secondary color of silvermail (dusky?fancy?) and use regal accessories to balance it out. to get an accurate color you should probably wait for ters tho, way better at this then me :P

I'm a fan of the 1st gen wings :P
I think it all goes pretty well together. I do kinda wish that I had a Heavy or Volcanic Scarf though...not sure why Toasty is blue : / (if you have either one I'd be happy to maybe talk a about a price :P)
I was also thinking of putting Toasty or Volcanic (if i can find them) Mech'tennas on it. I used to have heavy mecha wings on the helm but it looked too wide on that armor.
And lets face it, those Glow Eyes make it look damn good xD
