Alright, I'll bite. Especially since I waited a good while to get every piece I wanted at an affordable price (READ: 125k or lower per piece), I hope some of you here enjoy this.
The top three are a few shots of my main 2 costumes. The bottom one is just an auxiliary I used to use before I finished my 'official' set. The only thing I'd really change is getting a matching Scarf for the Sonic CD costume.
Your thoughts?

I've noticed this guide some time ago, but because I don't care that much about costumes (but still more then Shoebox) I've decided to check it out when 8th page popped up ;-)
So overall nice guide really. I was pretty surprised to see a Grey Feather Cowl + Sunset Duster combo there, because that was my first costume in SK (long before accessories were introduced and conquered Haven).
Anyway, just out of curiosity, what's your opinion about the costumes I'm sporting at the moment:
Costume 1
Accessories in this costume were randomly found in the lockboxes, so this is not a planned costume actually but something that I made with resources I've already got "on stock". Only regal Valkyrie Wings were traded for the fancy ones I got with promo.
Costume 2
Accessories in this costume were purposely purchased in AH, so this is planned costume. I wanted to make a plump character and I think demo suit and stranger hat combo has that rotundity I was looking for.
I never though about shields and weapons as part of the costume so I've just grab something most suitable from my arsenal for the purpose of this thread. I don't have Fearless Rigadoon just yet (screenshots with it were made in HoH), but that will be probably next sword I'm going to go for.

I usually don't ask people for what they think about my costumes. Most of my stuff is pretty generic, but I rather do enjoy this one.
Nothing special, just wanted to see what you think of it Tersakaff. Good or bad I probably won't really care since I've heard things going both ways from other random players in Haven. It is still a rather generic setup but like I've mentioned above I love it since it was my first full costume set.

My opinion
Overall that costume is pretty good. It looks like it was planned out well, because everything seems to match well. The only thing I see wrong at all is the green on the Dusky Parrying Blade doesn't really match anything else. I would suggest getting a Fancy Parrying Blade, because it fits better with your color scheme.

First, I've seen this costume a lot. It's fine really....except one thing. The helmet has almost 0 of the light yellow of the coat. The rest is fine really, I like how you matched it with a Cautery sword, lol.
Your PC seems to complement it well, too.

The sonic one is just no.. let's go to the cobalt one. The cobalt helmet does have some coordinating colors with the skolver armor, but there's still some that you haven't covered. For once, your PC is too dark, Cobalt would work better. And then there's your vents, the dusky doesn't really match. So what I suggest is getting divine vertical vents, or if you can't afford, cool ones but then you'd still need to find a divine item with the tan color. Switching to military accs with viridan PC is out of question because of the blue bit on the helmet when viewed from front.
Oh also the feather. Ditch it.

The first is just an accessorized proto set, really. Not the best PC for it either. The accs themseves don't make much sense too and to put it simply, the visor is ugly. Things I like are the matching of the fancy maedate with the dark blue on the armor.
The second one is better, everything is military-themed, the two pieces match shape-wise, the accessories make sense (fat stranger?? lol) and the weapons and armor match. The only think I don't like is the brown on top the stranger hat but there's some brown to compensate on the armor. Still not quite there tho.

Jokes aside, the toupee...surpsingly matches your PC color, but the parry just, no. Snarbolax is not dusky.

Well yet again, accessorized proto.. But uhm, your PC doesn't work all that well with it, the costume itself doesn't really fit your name (just something I pointed out), the love aura and barrel belly just contradict and the ribbon is oddly colored. Doesn't really match the brown on the pockets, it's a little off-hue and too saturated. And the white on the vita...

Just to clarify
I know that Snarby isn't fancy themed, but I was thinking that because OOO hasn't mainstreamed Shadow themed accessories YET(just hoping so maybe I'll eventually accessorize a Snarby coat) that Fancy themed items are the closest match to Snarby, though the pink on it stands out. Also, I know Toasty doesn't match Vog, I'm just tight on money, and I know that many people held out on bidding on the last Volcanic Parrying Blade because almost everyone knew how much Xair wanted hers.

How much do you think that cost me? parrying blades were free, shadow wings were indeed 1.2m... got those at the promo, and the prismatic toupee was a lol 300k :/. Sorry Wodanct I don't just spew out costumes if you give me a few accs.
I'm taking a hiatus/ quitting SK soon/probably (I'm not really sure) so I won't really keep this updated or reply any further. If I do decide on quitting I'll graveyard it. Nothing is sure now as I want to find a better game before that to invest my time in. Or just another hobby besides drawing to eat my time away really. :/
It's not because of the game- not at all- I love it. It's because of a certain part of the community OOO is showing huge bias towards, and certain actions that part of the community takes. I think that's unacceptable in a launched MMO of this size.
I thought I should announce this here so people won't wonder why am I not replying as I used to.
Anybody know a relatively new game (I want to start new in a game starting new) that comes even close to how great SK is?

My leave isn't 100% set in stone. It depends on future actions from OOO if I come back or not. Only one thing is certain: I don't have respect for OOO anymore (I was a die-hard supporter) nor will I invest money in the game anymore unless some SUPER AWESOME PROMO comes out which is nearly impossible. I mean hey the game is still awesome and I still like my character, lol.

I wasn't seriously looking for costume ideas anyway, just keeping your tread afloat. I'll think of something eventually for a costume with my friend's gifts on it. On another note, if more people would quit because of things they didn't like maybe Three Rings would get the hint.. I'll eventually take a break again someday myself but right now I'm being that haunting spirit that lurks the forums and clockworks. Good luck with whatever you do.

I personally dislike the barrel on it, I think it doesn't make much sense, but besides that..

And if anybody were to try and take up my role and do something that I've always highly disliked and always told people not to do, while I'm still checking this thread daily, it'll have an early graveyard. :/
I'm not gone, not yet, and still tend to this thread. When I will be completely gone, I'll announce it. As I said before, I am not 100% sure on it so it may not even happen and I may just end up with a very low activity that's all. I used to invest a HUGE amount of time, money, and effort into this game and now that's reduced to almost 0.
