When the Patch just a few minutes and/or hours ago came out when my game was updating it would never finish installing. I tried 5 times. Uninstalled it. Re-installed it. And tried 5 more times. But the time limit would just keep on increasing. Someone please help!!! D:

Im having the same problems, going fine, reaches 70% then just stops dead and the timer keeps rising.

Hopefully with any luck they'll have it resolved in no time, though it does seem odd that it'd only affect a seemingly small number of players.
On a side note shouldn't this be in ''Bug Reports''?
@iron-blast i restarted was stuck at 0% now has jumped to 90% but again the time is just going up and up who knows whats happening.

When i originally tried to install the bug fix patch it got all the way to 70% before refusing to go up anymore so i guess that might have something to do with the jump to 90%. As for time it took maybe twenty minutes however i've now got ''214'' minutes remaining and this number keeps increasing with no progress.

Wow, I just tried to get on and the same thing is happening to me, it starts off at 70% downloaded, gets to 85%, 1:08 left, then time goes up, it just went to over 300 min!??!

I don't understand
It's weird my spiral knights usually is the best but now cause of this patch for the bug update it is changing time for downloading it said 47 minutes then jumped up instantly to 61 minutes and i had to reinstall several times due to freezing and the minutes disappeared which is really pissing me off atm.
I hope this can be fixed.

Let's try the following: - Disable your antivirus - Close the game client (if open) - Close Steam completely - Reopen Steam client - Attempt the download again. Remember to restart your antivirus once the download is complete! Please let us know if that solved the issue or not.

My laptop's time went from 1300:3535 to 13:35 and my Desktop just went from 1% with 254025:34 time to 90% 52:35.
I think it'll go down if you give it time..

Okay an update on progress,
Okay an update on progress, after reinstalling the game, restarting steam, and my macbook, and trying the download again, i'm back to square one. Actually i'm on like square zero as now its stuck at 0% rather than 90% and i've got ''1246'' minutes remaining. This is less than awesome now.
*EDIT* @Thorancheladra i'm from UK so your theory may hold some water there.

I'm aiming to see if it actually concern any USA player, my hypothesis being players who are routed to the European server won't anyhow be able to update their game (you can't chose which server to play on when updating a client, and since my client language always switches back from English to French during an update, I'm "guessing", even if it's completely obvious, that the client fetches the update from the server closest to the player's region..you're better off living close enough to the US server IMO). Any advises such as disabling antivirus, reinstalling the whole client or whatever random-manipulation-that-won't-work-anyway is just aiming to convince us somebody cares and has solutions to our updating problem, which isn't the case, otherwise I'd be on my knight, not on my high horses on SK forums.
