Mine was peaking at 1350 minutes but has settled to around 765 minutes - still obviously not happening any time soon.
The thing i don't get is why it'd only not work for a select few players and not every player.

Come on OOO
I think rather than giving us half cost elevators and extended elevator passes for waiting for them to fix the patch, causing the CE market to rise even more... They should give us like 300 free CE, to use as we please. It'll make F2P players happier and it should lower the market a tad.
But honestly, just about every time OOO comes up with a new update, even a small one, they break something. Why don't you guys make sure it works out on the test server first BEFORE updating the public server? I'm sure players would rather wait a small amount of time to ensure a patch works, rather than waiting for hours, maybe even days, for a broken patch that was not tested properly to be fixed. Just a thought...

Please, I want to hear more people raging about how all patches should work the first time they come out. I want to know more about how the test server should be used to guarantee the success on the public server. Now, I want you to look at what you're saying. See that anger? Don't direct at OOO, direct it at me. I'd gladly enjoy taking it.
Edit: Not directed at a specific person, but rather, people who complain specifically about OOO and it's "fail" patches.

I'm stuck at 97% Timer rose to 200 minutes, still rising.
Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help either.

And you wonder why Three Rings is loosing key customers. Simply hilarious that yet another update was skrewed up, are the people involved in patching this game 3 years old? This should not happen to this game where every patch isn't correctly installed.
Yes - I still haven't gotten in, I plan on getting half cost elevators from this which I could give a flying (you know what) about because I hate PVE.
I have been spending my time without Spiral Knights chipping golf balls in the backyard and watching Waka Flocka music videos. Great life, eh.

my reply back-Greetings again, We are aware of a few bug reports and the forum posts but as a matter of fact this is the only in-game request on this issue. The developers are aware that some players are experiencing problems with the download and are looking into it as a top priority. Hopefully they'll be able to find a solution very soon! I'll leave this petition open and update when we have more information.
In the meantime we should turn our attention to other games for the night and come back tomorrow and act like this little incident never happened lol

Same thing is happening to me. Stalls out at 70%, time keeps on incrementing upwards.
Mac OS X 10.7.4, Java Version 1.6.0_33 From Apple Inc. Tried in both Firefox and Safari, same thing. Also tried it in VMWare and got to 97% and stayed there for half an hour.
