Now, you all probably heard of this legendary shield. But first, let me make this clear: They are real!!!! I still come across people who has played longer than me and still thinks that they dont exist!!! I have come across couple ppls with this shield.
According to the wiki, it can only be obtained from gremlin thwackers(T3). Im pretty sure someone will go across one if we all spam
operation crimson hammer. Im not if the GMs made the shield unobtainable from OCH, but lets give it a try

Its kinda like a race. A really LONGGGGGGGGG race. Now, Im going to pursuade my friends to spam OCH instead of FSC although I know only ppls
with determinations like mine would only try to get it. It may take 1, 100, or 1000 run. Dont get frustrated from this. Im not play this everytime I log into SK. that would ruin my reputation of BIG mouth, BIG friends. Anyone who has the shield, plz state exactly what happened. Im pretty sure this is gonna take a long time. But if we all do it, someone has to come across one. and if you do, plz note it here. And only do this if you know the risk of wasting time. Remember, dont waste too much time on this, its only for fun and lucky ppls. Just do more gremlin depts then now. Who knows, Irish ppls are playing with you and BAM! you get the shield. I think Ima thros a special party for anyone who finds it first. I you find it, good for you.
If you didnt, well, maybe next time.

UM...........

I too want this shield and all for the race to find one. YOur plan in flawed though cause in OCH thwackers appear like 2 or 3 times in the whole run. IT would be much smarter for me, you, all your friends, everyone here on the forum and anyone else you can convince to build nothing but gremlin T3 gates. That would be a much faster and more efficient way of hunting for these shields. If you go OCH you're gonna spend a lot of time there for nothing and very few chances at getting one. And eventually you will run out of CE on account that OCH does not pay out 1:1 even in T3. So.............. build gremlin gates and see you at the finish line

I'll be running Gremlin stratums a little more now! They even have a fair amount of Lumbers in Jigsaw Valley, which means, apart from that shield, I may get one of the coveted Plasma Cells. (5* Lumber drop, used in Nitro, Valiance, and Nameless Hat/Poncho... and Irontech and Iron Slug, but more people make Nitro and Valiance.)

@OP BOXES, not Gremlins, drop the Defender. While I may be the psycho(Get it!?) Kid that buys them, me and my stalker are certainly well versed. While I'm a paying player, I still threw away all of my gear not once, but twice to get my shields, and to me they're priceless. Pieces of history, I don't care for your silly mainstream Owls and Little spikey things.

I'ma keep watching this thread, and on request I'll give out more information, but for now, I'll leave with "Only in a gremlin stratum can it be dropped, unconfirmed OCH, but since OCH is probably classes as a Gremlin Stratum, and gear drops are possible, I wouldn't rule it out."

Depends on when the race begins and what gates are available.

Golden Rook is about to become active in a couple hours, Sapphire Skull in a couple days, Silver Titan in four days, Dark Pawn in six days but has Vanaduke. No gremlin stratums in T3 on any of them yet.

The Next gate change is in 2 hrs, all we need is to have RED and BLUE to be the highest, and PURPLE to be the lowest. Try to am for stratum 5.

Some Advice

I have been searching for a Darkfang for months; I have met many people with them and learned that Gremlin stratum clockwork passages(Danger rooms) and Gremlin Arenas are the BEST places for a Darkfang.

Try to NOT make stratum 6 gremlin. Stratum 5 is right next to emberlight and if Stratum 6 is gremlin, stratum 5 can't be.
