Will say though, for the sake of clarification that language changes over time. Euphemisms refer to a lot more today than they used to, just like many other words in our culture mean more or less than they used to.
"Nice", like the normal word nice, i.e. you're a nice person, 700 years ago meant rude or stuck up. If you check a dictionary from every century since 1500, you see the change over the years until it comes to be known as it is today. Cool stuff...
Tev, painkiller? For some reason, the SFM video "Bad Medicine" came to mind when I read that. XD

@Latisan: I'll do my best to follow orders, Sir. Lydia was sick last weekend and Sol was sick mid-week, so I suppose it's my turn (and a toothache to boot!) If worse come to worse, I may delay judging a day or so, as I'm a bit loopy right now and reading fiction would go something like "I just spent half an hour reading something, but I can't remember what happened or how much I liked it". Bad form, that. I'll try to get some of the art entries done, since I don't have to concentrate so much for those, or the short poems.

I like vitamin C cough drops... the lemon/orange/grapefruit pack... I haven't tried the blueberry pack yet, but I should. If cough drops are relevant, I recommend those. Though... nothing a cough drop can do that a nice tea can't, I bet your thinking would be.

Judging update!
Just to let you guys know how judging is going; Sol and I have already chosen winners for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (or 1st only, if that's what the category called for) in all categories except the Fiction categories. I'm going to see whether I can get all of the Fiction judged tomorrow so I can get you guys your Community/Artist choice ballots, and once those are in, I'll do the subjective prizes for each category.
Some of the categories were harder to choose one piece over another, making Sol and I scratch our heads for a little bit and pull out the grading rubrick to tally up scores to break ties and whatnot. I am continually impressed by the talent we've got in this thread.

(Also, I'm feeling a little bit better after three cups of tea. XD)

IGN : Msaad
Title : The Fight against Vanaduke
"Finally, I reached here.. It's time to show the person who destroyed the great almire Who's the boss."
I stepped forward, with my blitz needle ready for attack. I stepped in front of the gate, only to see a really big person about 18 Feet long! "So this is the Vanaduke guy everyone fears... Time to show him what I'm made of". The gates opened.. I see Vanaduke with his HUge cloak. He tells me to Run away. I told him "I'm not afraid of anything! Show me what you've got!!" Then I see Vanaduke face to face. "This is it" I thought.
He raises his huge mace to summon two slags, I deal with them easily.. Then I charge my blitz needle and fire at him.. "WHAT THE HELL?? It's like he got no pain at all!" I wasn't giving up, I kept on charging and dodging his attack until he stops, Suddenly, He deflects all of my attacks.. His mask came out of his face, which had a fiery round flame and flame orbs around it. I tried to Ttack, but I fail. "Dang it! What do I do now???" I looked at the water near me.. I took it and threw it at the mask. Suddenly the flame goes and some watery aura comes around it, I shoot my blitz and BANG! Out goes the mask, I celebrated my victory, but only for a few seconds, Vanaduke rises again, with flame orbs around him.. I was scared to death and didn't know what to do.. I threw a freeze vial and charged.. His mace bangs the floor and out came the roof rumbling down with lava, I threw water on the lave and charged until he fell down. The mask again, but this time not really easy. The flame orbs were rattling at high speed and I couldn't see clearly
I tried my best, and wasted all my remedy capsules, He still won't get up!! With my anger, I threw several water balls at him and charged my blitz needle.. I was facing a very big challenge.. BOOM, his mask is gone... I thought it would be easy now..
I was wrong.
He spread out flames all around and it hit me, no matter what I do, he still won't die. He hit me with his huge mace and I started to see blackness.
Blackness of death.. Then I suddenly remembered the health capsule I had. I used it and my health was restored. The too armed slags just keep on hitting me. "THAT'S IT!!" I thought, With my frustration, anger and weakness, I charged my blitz for one last time.. I hoped he would die, but I was wrong, suddenly the slags fall and they drop health, I take the health, restore my energy. But not soon enough, I fall Down with the mace hitting me.
This Is the end..
I fall down.. Ready to die
Suddenly I see a goddess.. Who stopped Vanaduke from killing me and gave me a sword.. A sword I have never seen before. The goddess said "Take this divine avenger with you, for you shall succeed with it" I take the divine avenger as the goddess disappear. I hit Vanaduke, dodging his attacks and finally charged the DA.
That was it.
Vanaduke, the most feared, the scariest of all, falls down.
I couldn't believe it..
I was back at haven where many people congratulated me for my victory.
I couldn't be happier.
For the spiral order, I would face many evils as much as I can.

Good news, peeps! I'm finished judging all of the placement awards! I'll have the ballots for the Community Choice and Artist's Choice up later today. When I get the ballots back, I'll decide on the subjective awards. Winners will be announced at the Award Ceremony, and then posted in the thread when the ceremony is over. At that time, I'll mail prizes to anyone who was unable to attend.
ALSO: the Artist/Community Choice awards are listed at 1* or 2* right now (I can't remember), but I'm bumping them up to 3*. Just lettin' y'all know.

I DIDN'T SEE ANY GRIDS GUYS, SAW LOTS OF COMPASS'S THO IT IS LITERALLY RIGHT BELOW IT GUYS!) there is a check box right next to compass, just uncheck it, seriously guys.
