theres nothing wrong with it plus some girls want to be you know girls right? plus alot of mmorpgs are not only games but a place to socialize is also a big thing within them and when talking to someone it makes a person more comfortable sometimes to know what gender someone is talking to so they can speak to them in a manner that will not be offensive like calling a he a she and even if you know someone is female after a long time with a big friends list its hard to keep track whos who and if you slip up you could end up being rude to someone by calling a she a he and visa versa
plus when someone tells a "inappropriate" joke that would normally be ok if it were the same gender to be told could be really really rude to someone of the other gender and its not like you have to be a certain gender i mean if implemented it most definitely would be something optional so its not like people have to be a gender people can still be anonymous in gender
p.s. thought that the part that said "it makes black people look white" is a bit discriminate i mean it could have been it makes black look white and still hold the same meaning didn't need the "people" in there

I'd rather not have it be a "locked" gender choice. Let any level of customization that's available for one be there for all in this game - we are robots, right? (not counting costs associated) But I don't have any complaints about devs adding equipment or customization options that are gendered, as long as they can be switched around without making a whole new character or something.

true but i think that things like pets that people want like actual pets that follow people and have their own ai is something complicated to make happen and houses too especially if their going to put houses with accessorizing and what not in it would probably take a long time to program and implement into the game but i think that something like accessories that already have slots is something that is easier on the programers to make happen especially simple ones like the one we suggest here well at least relatively simple i guess but then again i am not a programer so i wouldn't know :x

Don't worry about it, I was just pointing out that Voss is probably not worth talking to unless you enjoy responding to him and seeing his posts for their own sake.
Based on what I've seen in other games, I don't think pets would be too complex for the devs who made this game. I mean, SK already has those mechanical knights you can use for a floor of the clockworks. That being said, not sure what exact features people would want to see from their pets, so in that sense I dunno how much trouble they would be.

Dragon Scale, Valkyrie, and the Spiral Culet have... what you're asking for (for guys who like the angel look, Heavenly Iron could be either). This game really has no sexual themes (unless you REALLY stretch it, but you can REALLY stretch most any work of fiction or nonfiction this way), which is kind of refreshing from the every-female-humanoid-is-a-freaking-supermodel graphics of many online games.
Anyway, just give me a call when you want me to derail the thread with a massive wall of text about the Crest of Almire, Dr. Pepper, and the many ways Waylon annoys me.

Breastplates were worn over the torso to prevent injury during battle. Often times they were used as a status symbol for nobles and other people of such social stature. Like many other types of armor worn on the human body, it held functionality over looks unless you were someone of noble stature and wealth. Now if there were females in the army back then (and there mostly were it was just not obvious) their armor wouldn't look any diffrent from the males because in terms of protection, male and female body isn't different.

I don't understand why there are so many women haters around here.(not sure if gays or children) This idea isn't bad for anyone, and it would be a much better accessory than a barrel belly. Besides, like Doctorspacebar said about some armors having breastplates already, there are other accessories made that are part of existing equipment, like halos and plumes.
And another thing, Kaijuhunter, if you think that's bad, you don't even want to know the stuff I've seen *-*
People are actually more interested on putting boobs on characters than actual content and fixing the real problems of the game (something like the energy issues and the grinding), and that's just plain awful. I once said the developers should listen to their community, but I'm starting to think I was wrong the whole time. Because listening to a community like this would end up ruining more the game more than fixing it.
And if you want my opinion about the thread, how about making female versions of many of the armors instead?
Most of the women haters just got their heart crushed, right? Hair extensions would be cool too.

I'm not against any real new content, I'm actually looking forward to new danger missions and hopefully something to bring back the clockworks, but I understand that those things take time to make, and something like a new accessory seems fairly simple to add into the game

I don't know how me hating this idea = me being a women hater but whatever. I just think that adding breasts to chest armor is silly but I am cool with 3rongs adding more armor like the Valkyrie set and whatever Kora is wearing.
i think this accessory would be really rather easy to make and probably wont interfere with the making of any of the other content patches cause if you think about it they already have a design for this aka kozma and kora and all they'd really need to do is make recolors for this and recode it to implement it into the game as a frontal accessory (not programmer again but i think this is definitely easier then doing other new accessories that are not actually in the game yet) also making an accessory would probably be easier then making a reskin of all the armors
also the thing about the energy issue this would actually help! why do you think they put out promos? its to make sure the ce market doesn't explode into a thousand pieces so thinking about it on that line another promo with this would just bring down the ce prices therefore helping the ce market unless your talking about something different in which case you'd have to change the ce market completely and i have no idea how it would ruin the game at all just add more variety for people to make their character the way they want it
and seriously the thing about the groups did you see the last promo O_O? just recolors of puke colored equips and accessories except the leafy aura and i barely see anyone with them if that's not a minority patch then i don't know what is i mean would you want this suggestion a new accessory promo that is relatively easy to make and wont actually hinder OOO from making content patches or a promo that recolors everything you already own!?

Recolors are extremely easy to make. Just take an existing file, open whatever 3D program the devs at OOO use, recolor the textures and rename the file so it doesn't replace the already existing file.

Is it that green recolor of the lizard set? I wouldn't know since I haven't played recently and the only recolors I think is cool are the Guardians Armor pack and the Rose set variants.
Basically it's a posion themed recolorations of all different armors... They slammed green and purple on all armors and sell it as PROMOTION! I really despised the lazy work of 3rongs on that, camouflage themed armors would look 3 billion percent cooler and would sell a lot more, not to mention it would only give a bit more work to do. But no, puke coloured costumes it was. :/
New promo, with the normal promo accessory colors(all the regular and shadow) with the breastplate as one, my idea for it being like a larger version of the thing on the Spiral Culet. Larger meaning sticking out more, not wider. (I have no shame saying this :D) And for the other item you get, because it's rediculous to have a promo with only 1 accessory (besides the dragon wings and Valkyrie wings) a chest plate, aka a more masculine version of the breastplate. I'm thinking something like shoulder guards and a medium size piece of basic looking plate of armor over the chest.
The reason this is getting more attention than most content suggestions is because most of them are either not thought out right or just plain bad. The mecha knight kit thread the voss mentioned (if we're thinking of the same one of course) was indeed good, we need more like those.
But just because somebody likes an idea does not mean they would prefer it over others (I'm quite sure most people would want a new boss over this).
Overall, if you don't like this, fine. But if you think one accessory is going to delay playable content for any noticeable amount of time, your dead wrong.

Brestplates and chestplates are the literally the same thing with different names. They're also called Cuirass. But more armor accessory variations of the:
Angelic
Seraphic
Fallen
Valkyrie
Emberbreak
Drake Scale
Spiral Scale
And Ice Queen
Btw I was also listing "feminine" armor that's currently available.

Why do they just change every player's armor?
I mean, those who had created their avatars male from the beginning should have flat-chested armors for the whole time of their mechanical lives.
So far for the female avatars, their chestplates should have "chests" on them.
Ironically, they are mechanical beings and they dont have mamary glands. But one thing, they are HUMANOIDS and they dont reproduce sexually.
But because this is a game. We break the rules of Logic and create our own virtual mindset.

Well maybe if they didn't make it so easy to get an acc without giving your age, there wouldn't be any little kiddies. I mean, anyone with half a brain can lie about their age and get on any game, But there's an ohmygosh easy work around to not even having to give your age here even though SK is 13+ ._.
