Greetings to all knights reading my post,
With the upcoming guild updates as well as other updates (which I will not mention since they are not relative to this topic) located at http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/54151, I would like to discuss an idea my fellow guildmate (Goldkepper) suggested to me. Before getting to the meat of the topic I would like to present my own ideas first.

1. Having a guild board where GM's can write messages (probably something that the SK Staff are going to do anyway),
2. Uploadable poster that represents your guild and is checked to see if it follows ToS (also a possibility),
3. Uploadable music in guildhall that isn't forbidden by the ToS (quite a bit more unlikely to ever occur, it’s just a thought).

So, back to the topic. The suggestion Goldkepper ever so kindly gave to me was that we should have our own quarters. To build onto this I said there should be a section in the guild hall called the corridor. The rooms will be lined up at the side and will have a certain cost. Upon purchasing a room you will receive a unique key that will allow you and only you to enter your room. Your room will be kind of like a lobby in a sense and you can unlock and lock it. You will be able to invite knights inside it. It will be customizable as well with simple tools and nothing out of bounds of SK itself. For example, you could purchase a mini AH, to view auctions and bid/buy. You will have the options to move around stuff as well. This is all I have for now and if anyone wants to add on, feel free. Haven would turn into a deserted ghost town, populated by mewkats and dust zombies, but no Spiral Knights. Because they're all in their Guild Quarters, still looking on their mini AH. But, still. The Guild Hall isn't a hotel.

I am only going to reply to those last two comments. I agree that maybe mini AH's aren't a good idea, so as to Haven not being deserted. Maybe it could have limited options such as only viewing auctions. But Idk. I agree that the Guild hall isn't a hotel. But it is a place to congregate and remember that the rooms will have a decent cost. It should be that only GM's (and maybe Officers) can get them. Well that's it for now, will think of other things to put in quarters.

I did look at the other GH threads (Severage's) and I couldn't find anything similar to my ideas. If it is somewhere in there could you please point me out. For that matter Little-Juances, although I do agree with you, I must say that it doesn't hurt to start another topic before looking at others either :P

ive been thinking

ive been thinking of this for ages:i think that we schould have like a room in haven that u can put chairs and stuff in that we brough for CR or CE.
and u can invite friends and other people in, hang wepons on the wall so they dont clutter up your invantary.
and (i though of this just now) we could have a bed! and if u sleep in it u gain MisT 2X as fast and u can buy better beds that make u regenerate mist 5X as fast.
there could be manicans with your loadouts in a seperate room, and storage boxes...im making my own thread now bye XD.
