That's a joke right? Your issue with me is that you think I use auto-target and wouldn't be able to beat you without it, so I'm offering to duel you with incontrovertible proof that I'm not using auto-target. So you don't want guns? Well then what about no swords? Your logic - or lack thereof - is ridiculous, though it doesn't surprise me at all given that it's you.

Also, I nominated Timbalero because I thought he might be one of the few people you don't have an issue with, though it seems like you have an issue with everyone. Very well then, who do you propose act as the arbitrator? What about Cyrilmorrigane? While Feller's attitude may not be in the right place sometimes, he will give you the 500K himself.
And from the look of thrill on the forums it looks like he'd do it too.

I just had a nice talking with one of the ppl who organize all this, we agreed that any fight outside this tournament will be cancelled.

Why?

Simple, we want more people in the next tournament, that will have a BIGGER price, and more challenge of course.

Doesn't mean that I'll not fight with my opponents for special CR.

I will do it but INSIDE the tournament, so Thrillaus (500k) and Tmdals (100k), we will have our fight for CR, but only in the next tournament, video on both sides (just Thrillaus case, Tmdals is a solid player and I personal trust him). If we never saw eachother, we can fight outside tournament, but for now, the next tournament WILL BE my priority.

I've barely spoken to Thrillhaus, and I know Feller not at all. I have no horse in this race.

But I gotta say, Feller, it's bad sportsmanship to agree to a duel, then afterwards insist that it occur within the next tournament you'll be hosting. You didn't say that earlier, when you made the proposal, and you made no such request when you purported to accept Thrillhaus's terms. Consequently, Thrillhaus didn't sign up to take part in your next tourney--he signed up to duel you, to settle your grievances. He would be perfectly justified in refusing to sign up, and insisting that you just straight-up duel him as you originally proposed and agreed to. Should you refuse to duel him outside, it would be you avoiding the fight, not him.

So clearly, you had already agreed to his challenge. You even said "the only rule is no AA"--nothing about "must be within a tournament". And then you said to discuss the duel elsewhere, as it was happening outside the tournament.

Now you're backing out.

I will not claim that you're afraid to face Thrillhaus--clearly you're a formidable LDer, and I have no clue who's better. But the fact remains that you already agreed to a duel on set terms, and now you want to change those terms. You are going back on your word.

Like I said, I don't know either of you and don't have a reason to care who wins (though I'd love to watch the vid). It just seems unfair to me to change your agreement like that.

How do these tournaments handle an EU player fighting a US player? One of them are going to be at a horrible disadvantage.

You talk as if there's some kind of supernatural power that only permits Thrillhaus to duel with you once. What's wrong with dueling him now, and then having him participate in your next tournament? Both duels are mutually exclusive - the impact of one does not affect the other. If you keep repeating your point of not wanting to fight outside of a tournament like a broken record, you are going back on your word, plain and simple. Also, stop being a hypocrite by saying that you have nothing to prove - if that were true, why did you issue/accept a challenge in the first place?

I'm calling it now - if Thrill does participate in Fellar's tournament, Fellar will again come up with some poor excuse of an excuse to avoid and/or postpone dueling him.

Feller, I also believe that playing without AA helps improve one's aiming ultimately and thus instigate "skill". Therefore I give you my sympathy for being the fellow striving to share similar beliefs to the LD community.

I don't think Thrill was talking down on any participants who fought in the tournament,, he only just brought up the duel that was supposed to happen for 500k crs, and you did agree to the duel with mutual agreement from both sides to the terms, there were no mentioning about participating in the next tournament.

I don't know about Rangerwillx, but don't mind our duel because my Summer recess is over and I will most likely be rusty from taking a break from LD and other LD events.

That said the tournament is already over, and this duel between you and Thrill is something separate from the event.

So let the duel happen so there are no more needless arguments.
