Even if they're connected by cable directly to the router, it would still have to use the router, therefore, to properly skip that section, they must draw a cable to the modem.

Yes! And who's fault is it?

The EU server obviously! Dat EU server! Always laggy!

I invite my American friends

I invite my American friends to a run in our European servers, when suddenly I suffer from the same ol' problems [...] they experienced the same exact thing at the exact same time.

Still suspicious. I'll see if there is anything I can do about it myself, but judging from that particular experience I doubt it has anything to do with what's going on on my end.

I never said there was a problem with the EU server (in that post).
By the way, if you were to look in Thunderbogs thread that got the forum all fired up a while ago, you'd see that there are people with the same problem (rubberband lag every five minutes). Of course it was natural to think that there was something up with the server.

Also, it was sort of hard to find wireless drivers that didn't exist yet, or I would have had my problem fixed a long freaking time ago.

Guys.

Chill. Do not provoke each other. I do not want to have any unnecessary flaming going on in here, so please try to stay on-topic.

Yep, still here.

So hey, I bet you all missed this here thread so I'm here to bring it back. 'Cause sod this nonsense.

What nonsense you ask? The fact that I have a 3.6 second longer delay playing on the European server than I do the American one.
For comparison sake; I have a 1.0 second delay on the US server. I have a 4.6 seconds delay on the European server.

Logic?

Do you still seriously

Do you still seriously believe that there is an issue on the servers end? It's clear that it's your ISP terrible routing at hand or even something with your local network hardware/software.

@Paweu

Yes, I do.

Do I have any reason to believe otherwise?
No, I don't.

It's not clear to me that it's a problem on my end. On the contrary, my experiences so far have shown me quite the opposite. That, or a big portion of my friends "coincidentally" suffer the same problems, and I find that very hard to believe. If it's so clear that it's something on my end, then why don't you make it clear to me? For all I know you could be talking out of your buttocks because there are no arguments to convince me otherwise.

Why does thousands of EU players don't complain and you do?

Because they don't have problems and you do

Logic dictate the problem is on your ends

Your logic dictate it's the EU server problem

Go figure...

For all I know you could be talking out of your buttocks because there are no arguments to convince me otherwise.

We cannot convince you however we can say the truth about it... whether we convinced you or not is another story/topic/problem

BTW the EU server is fine, go watch Haven 25, home of EU french players and log for their 8 PM, there's **** tons of people that aren't lagging

@Shamanala:
I am having problems too, so stop being an idiotic ignorant. There is a large portion of EU players that are having lag problems with every update, so your stupid argument is invalid. And to burn you, you are using the same logic that Shidara is using.

Shidara's Logic:
I am having problems and X of people are having problems too. Therefore, Y needs to be investigated.

Your Logic:
I am not having problems and X of people aren't having problems too. Therefore, there is no need for an investigation.

See?

@ Dragneel-wiki

So there is people with identical problems and thousands doesn't... Maybe both of you has ISP problem... you know?

I've seen too many EU players not lag to say the EU server is laggy...

They represent the bigger portion of the french playerbase btw...

Edit: I had ISP problems too and was wrongly accusing OOO with the new BN server being laggy while it was not...

>We cannot convince you

Bull. It's not that you can't, it's that you don't care to. Apparently I am not vocal enough to cause a reaction whereby someone does step in to slap me in the face for being thick. You don't care to explain it to me. If you did, you'd be resourceful enough to do so. If you can't explain it then you clearly don't know what you're talking about in the first place.

New animations are being added each updates for the past months

New UI brought the new animations whenever you get hit and whenever you hit something

3D models (which is a pain in the ----)

Basically more thing for you to download (for OOO to upload)

Meaning you gotta have good bandwidth... Which is okay with a decent router, your LAN (or home network) is good enough...

Relatively there is MAN and WAN (Metropolitan/Wide Area Network... Basic network stuff) that BOTH has their own bandwidth maximum speed...

Those one are out of your hands reach and CAN hinder your gameplay experience regarding mapping and routing of your home network...

On a side note: most of the time the problem rely in the home network, have you tried playing with a friend laptop on your connection then on his connection?

T'was my "useful" translated why you *can* lag even though you shouldn't... but that's really... really... really rare... T'was what I tried to explained without having to use google each 10 seconds

I really hope it helped

Edit: Look at that cluster---

Not even showing up a weapon with 3d models because I wouldn't see anything >.<

Edit 2: my friend who play SK has this kind of problem with D3 whenever he's playing with 4 players, since he doesn't live near a big city his MAN bandwidth maximum speed isn't good enough for him to have 4 players in D3 bashing mobs around, when 1 is in town it's okay though

Edit 3: I tried explaining it with an analogy here if it can help you understand... kinda hard to explain :S
