Blurb: Wolvers tend to be rather serious creatures when adults, often keeping an eye out for danger from their dens, sending out the younger wolvers to hunt. The pups that aren't ready to be out on their own stay near the den, playing with whatever they find whether it be a foul-tasting yellow bug or a floating blue wisp. Alpha wolvers are the laziest, staying in their dens all day long but in return, keep their pack safe from their worst threat: Spiral Knights.

The skinny: A lot of the charges for swords require you to get very close in order to be effective. THIS will be the first throwable weapon for the game (or at least the first one that I have heard of before).
What is it like?: It attacks like the cutter and pretty much has the same basic attack combos like the cutter family of swords. The difference is the charge. When you charge this weapon, you lob the axe forward to hit whatever gets in the way of it's trajectory. The trick with this is that you have to aim before you let go. Otherwise, the charge isn't going to hit its mark. This is better explained with the following diagram in link 1.
Here is a list of descriptions for the axes.
2* Tomahawk - A reliable chopping axe that's light enough to throw! The bolts on the axehead keep the blade from flying off with each strike.
3* Hardend Tomahawk - A tomahawk with a stable and hardened axehead. The shaft has also been lightened to balance the added weight of the new head so you can throw it just like any other tomahawk.
4* Forged Tomahawk - An finely crafted Tomahawk that is fun to wield as it is to throw. The feathers are just the icing on the cake.
5* Whispering Wind- A beautifully crafted axe with a cobalt blue finish. This tomahawk is so light, you feel like you can throw three axes at once!

The Skinny: This set of armor is made to fill an elemental roll in the Cobalt armor set. Of course, this is a 5 Star item set. But it's your call. If you like it, Great! If not, then it would make for an awesome costume armor set.
Stats: Acts like the Azure Guardian Armor set, except the Piercing defense is replaced with Elemental Defense. It also has High ailment resistance to Fire, Ice, Poison, and Shock. The visor can see the health of nearby allies. (of course that's just an idea)
Here are the Descriptions for each of the armor pieces.
5* Medic Suit: A true marvel of medical science. This suit is designed as a hazmat suit and trauma kit in one. Sure it abandons some of the benefits of the Vitasuit, but you get all of the protection from the elements with a dash of comfort and mobility.
5* Medic Visor: A hardened Trauma helm modified for asserting medical injuries. The visor can asses all kinds of injuries from blows to the head, to breaks in armor and other medical duties. This visor also acts as a scanner to assert the health of nearby allies, which is always a plus.

The Skinny: This gun is made to fill a hole in the Antigua alchemy path for piercing damage. The last evolution of this gun has a special effect that can put enemies to sleep.
Stats: The gun is just like the Antigua. It fires the same amount of rounds and has the same firing speed as the Antigua. The charge for this gun is a rapid fire volley of shots, like the auto guns, except it fires all six rounds in rapid succession.
Descriptions:
4* Dart Gun: A powerful handgun similar to the Antigua. This revolver however has been heavily remodeled with a brand new barrel and specialty rounds with heavy and powerful darts.
5* Anesthetizer: A prototype revolver with a special chemical additive that is strong enough to put even the most rambunctious of fiends to sleep. Originally made to subdue beasts, this gun is also proficient in taking down enemies with its punishing dart-shaped bullets.

Hey, Njthug, quick question. How exactly will the entries be judged? Will judges be looking at entries where they were originally posted, or will they be looking at them at the Tumblr page you've set up? If it's the latter, I was wondering if I could have my entry on Tumblr edited to include the description I originally had with it, as I think the description did add to it. This in particular:
This is a concept for a new line of swords for the Brandish alchemy tree. Basically, chainswords.
Brushsaw: A motorized saw adapted from Gremlin woodcutting tools. While originally designed for clearing paths through the thick undergrowth of Gloaming Wildwoods, Knights have found it equally handy for clearing paths through the many beasts that inhabit said undergrowth.
Battlesaw: A modification of the Brushsaw design, built with proper combat in mind. Its teeth can reliably chew through everything a knight can expect to be in his way, from the thickest trees to the toughest Chromalisks.
Mauler: How many beasts could a Spiral Knight chop if a Spiral Knight chopped with the Mauler? All of them.
General stats:
All Chainswords do high normal damage, with a high damage bonus against beasts. Although comparable to the Hunting Blade series from the Cutter alchemical line, as they too do normal damage with a bonus against beasts, Chainswords do have their differences. They are slower than the Hunting Blades, but do far more damage, with the Mauler just under the Leviathan Blade for pure normal damage output, and that’s not even counting the high bonus against beasts. Plus, the Mauler can inflict stun status with its charge attack. In the end, the choice between the Wild Hunting Blade and Mauler would largely be one of play style, as one doesn’t necessarily invalidate the other.
Attacks:
Basic Attack: A standard 3-hit combo.
Charge Attack: The Knight lunges forward slightly with a powerful forward slash. Unlike other weapons of the Brandish alchemy line, Chainswords do not produce explosions with their charge attacks, but the Mauler can inflict stun with a charge attack.
Alchemy Path:
2* Brandish > 3* Brushsaw > 4* Battlesaw > 5* Mauler
