PRAY TO VOG I GOT EVERYONE!!!
Jason has his flaws. For instance, he can't and doesn't want to wear armor, meaning that even the proto sword can leave him severed after a single strike. As I have already stated before, his special abilities have major drawbacks to them, like how a bow shooting arrows is slower than a gun shooting bullets. You may be just looking at my character the wrong way, and through logical deduction, I can conclude that you only barely skimmed through my posts, as you did not state any of the many drawbacks I had already stated that were present in Jason. Try reading through my posts in RtC again, and you may find yourself giving a different opinion towards my character.
It still doesn't give you the right to tear through Lim, when Thin already gave the OK on his character.
I didn't say it gave me the right to tear through Lim's character, and I didn't tear through Lim's character. I constructively criticized his weapon app, but now that I see he has edited it, I have stopped. You are just accusing me of tearing through Lim's character, even though you clearly knew that I was constructively criticizing him, even after I gave lots of suggestions towards his weapon app. Please reread my posts on par with this specialized topic again, and you may find yourself giving a different opinion towards this.
Alright, fine. Getting writers block here, Thin we're all sort of stuck until you post, since most of us are shooting valkyries.
Let's just move past this. I know that Ultimaknightz feels internally threatened by this new weapon, but he doesn't have much right over which darkness it controls. Gzilla, you know Thinslayer will interfere if he feels Ultimaknightz is undermining him, so there is no need for you to get involved in close-quarter business. *hugs Monocled Chromalisk in arms* :3
*Brutally shoots chromalisk, then makes chroma-jerky* laughs
*resurrects Chromalisk* What? you think I kill these things and waste more? *laughs at Gzilla as Monocled Chromalisk hops into arms. Pets Chromalisk head, and lazers shoot at Gzilla* Never knew ypu hated me THAT much, G. *writes Gzilla's name down in SH!T L!ST while hugging lazerful Chromalisk*
I've posted a story addition, for what it's worth. I shouldn't be creating these at 12:50am, but here I am doing it anyways. I hope it helps with the writer's block.
Also...
Lim's character is fine with me.
Ultimaknightz's character is fine with me.
Does that help? :)
Also, I think that FK and Ret. have finally died off, one being more active recently, FK.
Can we have some consistency please?
I introduced the Fallen as villains, but someone (I won't say who) keeps trying to make them good, and it's really messing me up. Either we keep them good or keep them bad. Which do you guys want?
If I wanted good Valkyries, I would have used White ones.
@Ultima: Look here, I've got a few comments to make. First of all, Yuna's hair is NOT maroon (as in reddish-brown), rather it is a deep violet color. Second, since when were people allowed to control others' characters? Sure, it's fine in moderation, but without even realizing it, your post somewhat undermined my post. Yuna and Chris were surrounded by the Valkyries, about to make some sort of Alamo stand, yet you just said that she kicked your character and said stuff. Doesn't exactly for together well, does it? In addition, the guy Yuna kicked says, "As I have said before, the Valkyries have agreed to a compromise. They will leave in peace and will not attack Gwen if you let them have their lives. But be warned; fighting against an Arbiter will surely lead to your demise. And I am that Arbiter." If you examined this more closely, there are three -albeit somewhat small- problems. Yuna knows nothing of Gwen; the two feisty little dames have yet to meet yet.
Also, would you so kindly deign to inform me on what this compromise is? Yuna has never heard of this compromise, and further more, your character says "As I said before", which implies that Yuna was listening to this guy talk earlier, not killing Valkyries. Last but not least, that line "But be warned; fighting against an Arbiter will surely lead to your demise. And I am that Arbiter." I may sound paranoid because of my rambling, but I just have to say this; do you think your character is stronger than mine? Both of us -and probably everyone in the RP, perhaps everyone who has ever participated in an RP- want our character to be very strong. I'm willing to compromise, but that quote implied that your character is in an entirely different league from Yuna. True, he may have supernatural strengths that Yuna isn't used to, but remember, she's a master swordsman, she joined the Order at TWELVE and has been fighting for nine years, has trained with weapons even before that, and can defeat a Fallen Valkyrie without breaking a sweat. The mere mention of her name strikes fear, or at least caution, into the hearts of the most cold-blooded Morai, people who wouldn't even flinch if they met the Grim Reaper itself (hehe, notice how I didn't say it was specifically a male), much less your character. Just pointing that out. If you'd like to work out a compromise on how strong our characters are in relation to each other, I'd be glad to. I apologize for the rant; I just had to say it.
As a side note, I guess i should start on a new post right now...
That Teyailain (The undertaker) Is the gri- Oh yeah, he kind is.
On a side note, I have no idea what to write anymore. (Killing Valkyries in the background as easily as a child would play hopscotch*)
What? No, no, he's definitely not OP! Why would you ask?!
Sorry thin, but I'd have to follow the "Messenger Valkyries" base post, because. . . It's actually less work for you, unless you had something specific that you wanted to happen.
Evidence Argument:
Alright then. However, some would mistake Jason as a Valkyrie without wings.
Still, the Arbiters are a force to be reckoned with. And since Jason is not your usual everyday Arbiter, I find it hard that a mere Isoran, even with years of training, would be able to beat someone who withholds the powers of Chaos itself. Chaos warriors, when trained to their full potential, can manipulate part of reality itself. Just to reassure you, Jason is a Chaos warrior, his powers given to him by the last Chaos angel. BUT, he has not trained to his full potential, and restrictions were put on his powers at an early age to try and prevent him from gaining access to those powers, though he has learnt about the restriction and is trying to find a way to get rid of it.
Lieutenant Yuna has amazing physical capabilities, right? Jason can gain enhance his physical capabilities by infusing darkness into his blood, which forces his body into a greatly enhanced adrenaline state, increasing his strength, speed, reflexes, and instinct by more than 70%. That alone gives him far more physical capabilities than Lieutenant Yuna.
Jason is brash, yes, but he can back it up.
Argument attacking the fallacies in your argument:
...Second, since when were people allowed to control others' characters?...
Controlling people's characters is called powerplaying. I believe I should ask YOU the question. Since when were people NOT allowed to control other people's characters, at least to a minor degree?
...which implies that Yuna was listening to this guy talk earlier, not killing Valkyries...
You should hear about story-fillers. Like say, I dunno, Yuna killing the Valkyries and backing away slowly but accidentally bumping into Arch and kicking me? It's up to you.
The other stuff in your argument are valid, other than the fallacies I already pointed out. I'll try and make changes effective immediately, though I have to finish a school project and send it by today.
Name: Xalin
Gender: Male
Race: Sprite (Exiled)
Personality: In general? Not arrogant, but a complete and utter attractive flirt. He was exiled for his interest in battle, so he has a sort of flair for it.
Appearance: Wearing a hoodie looking much like the untainted night sky, with blue hair and eyes. He uses an axe, which doubles as a light green-glass blade with light green liquid stirring in it. The axe itself is completely black with blue decor on it's blade. He also uses something of a bomb to protect himself, dropping it and having it's gel expand to form a helpful barrier. He also uses arm coil guns, bright green metal wrapping around each of his arms and ending at the knuckles with bullet expellers.
Bio: Exiled now, Xalin spends his time lost in the Clockworks, trying to find his way out of...wherever he is.....

@Liminori: That's fine, I'll work with it. I'll need a briefing on what has occurred though - the story is currently too complex for me to write a story off of it.
@Seatus: App accepted! Have fun.
@Ultimaknightz: Those aren't necessarily fallacies. They may be, but it's important to point them out by name.
Regarding your evidence argument
It seems I failed to read the last few lines of your application. The abilities you listed are the only ones I'll permit. I cannot allow Jason to become overpowered by "reaching his full potential." The abilities he has are already very powerful (though, relative to the other characters in play, may not be "overpowered"). Any further abilities will have to applied-for, and I must accept them. To spare you the trouble, I am telling you now that they will not be accepted.
We all want to be special. Heck, I do too; what do you think Gwen is supposed to be, some random mook? xD But you'll have to find Jason's specialness some other way besides overpowering him. There is no such thing as a "usual everyday Arbiter," any more than there is such a thing as "usual everyday Core" or "usual everyday Vog." Arbiters are special by definition. Use that.
Regarding your arguments attacking Kaijuhunter's arguments
Power-playing is expressly forbidden in the opening post of the story thread. In practice, I permit it only if the involved player is okay with it. If the player has any qualms with it, you are required to change the story.
Regarding the second point, Kaiju's fallacy is actually the non sequitur, or "false cause" fallacy. Kaiju claimed that because Jason spoke, Yuna was listening. Speech does not, in fact, cause listening; it is possible to speak and not be heard. "Speech causes listening" is the false cause in this argument.
My opinion is, how about those Valkyries were messengers, and now they are sending in warrior Valkyries, and those will be our villians. Sound good?
Everyone dead or something? I check back here daily. . .
I already changed the elemental part, stun poison and ice, I believe! REALISTIC? WHO EVER SAID LIFE IS REAL!? WHAT IS REAL?
The damage increases with each hit because the other souls are taken and also power the scythe as a subsoul, although none can overpower Me, as I was the first soul to enter. As for why a scythe deals stun, poison, ice- WHY MUST YOU MAKE ME EXPLAIN!?!? sigh. . . Elemental edges.
As for how I keep my soul while the scythe dematerializes- I simply move to Teyailain's glove, although his glove doesn't have a speaker from which I can speak from.
SCREW THE WHOLE SOUL EATING SOUL, I ALREADY EXPLAINED! "The damage increases with each hit because the other souls are taken and also power the scythe as a subsoul, although none can overpower Me, as I was the first soul to enter."
No, I am not a soul eater, I was just making a quick little joke.
Sorry. Did I stop the flow of the series?
