Faction: Spiral Order

Name: Lieutenant Yuna "Two-Bit" Sakurai

Personality: Rambunctious and very wild. Yuna is a bit of a tomboy, enjoying sports, weapons, and other "boyish" things. She is hot-headed and wears her heart on her sleeve, which can sometimes be annoying; at times though, she offers critical insight that no one had thought of before. She has a strong sense of justice and will do what she thinks is right. In a conversation, she always has to get her two bits in, hence her nickname. Yuna is also fiercely protective of her friends, and would sacrifice her own safety to help them. Despite her sometimes irking qualities, Yuna is strong and loyal to those she cares about.

Gender: female

Appearance: long purple hair that falls to her hips. Her eyes shine a bright azure, with the occasional green flecks. She has an average build.

Age: 21

Arsenal: Antigua, Flameberge, Tempered Calibur, Fireburst Brandish, Twisted Targe, and Dusker set. Her gear reflects both her tendency to charge headlong into battle and her fiery personality.

Costume: Angelic set with a transparent, light blue visor. She always carries her Vitakit around on her back, which is stuffed to the brim with Health Pills and Remedy Capsules. Her arm brandishes a gauntlet that serves both as a shield and a compartment to hold her knife in. Hidden blade, much?

Bio: nobody knows much about Yuna's past other than the fact that her father was a high ranking Morai officer and her mother a simple Isoran peasant. After her 12th birthday, Yuna joined the Order and excelled as a swordsman. She was an excellent soldier, killing more Morai than the rest of her squad combined. After years of serving on Isora, she was sent to Cradle along with hers and a few other special operations squads to help combat the Morai.

Abilities: Yuna is extremely fit and shows her physical capabilities easily. She beat Arkus himself at arm wrestling without batting an eyelid, and she can scale the tallest of skyscrapers with nimble, catlike grace. She is an expert swordsman and a black belt in multiple martial arts. She posesses no supernatural powers, but her name can strike fear into the hearts of even the most high-ranking, buff, well-armored Morai.

Can I make it so that Jason suddenly goes out of control and almost wipes out the whole Morai army before he turns back to normal? This way we can make Jason kill someone important in the story(eg: Kyrto; Khazaim) whilst killing other Morai, thus adding interesting stuff to the story. The story can go like this:

The group(Jason, Gwen, Kyrto, Khazaim, etc) walks along a path until Gwen calls Kyrto a Morai, which Jason did not know. Since Jason hates the Morai(because the Morai killed his parents), it brings back memories and his dark powers go out of control. His body then follows by instinct, killing normal Morai soldiers in single blows. He wipes out the most of the Morai army in a few seconds, the only people left being a few Morai soldiers, Khazaim, Kyrto and Gwen. Jason will kill one of the important ones(eg: Khazaim, because Gwen likes Khazaim. If Jason kills Khazaim, Gwen will most likely attack Jason, but will fail to defeat him, as Jason's powers are that of Chaos(ring a bell?))

So you get to choose, Thinslayer. Who will be killed?
Kyrto?
Khazaim?
All the Morai there?
Or even Gwen?

I'm doing this because I have writers block writing about anything else, other than descriptions, of course. I also want the story to have an interesting twist.

So I was thinking that Anubis could join the Morai if they promised to leave Emberlight alone. (A promise that they may or may not honor) I'm having trouble thinking of another way too get him to get involved in the war story.

It seems a little overpowered to have Jason have his Berserk Button pressed so early into the story and having it wipe out an entire fleet of trained soldiers. I would say to back off on that idea for a while. However, you could water down that idea a little bit, and have him be stopped somehow or something midway.

Some comments

@Liminori: I'm not interested in puppeteering someone else's character; I have enough to consider with Gwen. I know you're capable of making a strong character in an RP; please, join us!

@Ultimaknightz: I'd rather he didn't do that, as it would seriously mess up the story. The Morai army is supposed to be large and imposing, and Kyrto has only brought a small fraction of it into the Clockworks (still numbering nearly a hundred strong). Going on a murderous rampage would alienate Gwen (if he didn't kill her outright), destroying the Morai army would eliminate their critical part in this story as Clockworks adventurers, and murdering Kyrto would crush the only villain I had in mind for this story. Khazaim is still a supporting character, so it wouldn't be as devastating if he died, but I happen to like the guy.

But I can't just leave you with that, since you've got writer's block, so I'll make a few suggestions. Remember, your character is accompanying Gwen and the Morai so as to lead them safely through the Clockworks. That means he will have to explain the various traps and dangers that lie ahead for each level. Hence, you will be asked to come up with unique perils for our characters to face that are in-character for each level and different from each other with every new depth.

As a subplot, he could be vying for Gwen's affections, in competition with Khazaim and possibly a few other characters. I don't know whether he will succeed or not, but it would be quite interesting to play out.

@Houndoomwars: That's actually a really cool twist. See if you can figure out a way for it to be a bigger deal for the other characters, because at the moment, nobody will care about Anubis's allegiances. The best way is simply to have him come out of hiding and somehow join the characters, either by direct introduction, combat, or some other means. Maybe Gwen saves his hide?

The Al'truis (Morai mothership) crashed near Haven, destroying the city and leaving the majority of its inhabitants dead or wounded. Those who were still alive were being healed by Gwen, Equinox, and Nivian. As Equinox left the camp to find more knights, a band of Morai attacked, and only Gwen was able to defend it (Nivian is presumed to have not participated for unknown reasons). But Gwen was defeated and captured by the Morai, and Captain Kyrto coerced her into showing them the way through the Clockworks. He took about a platoon of soldiers with him. They picked up Jason in the Arcade, who had a more detailed knowledge of the Clockworks (because remember, Gwen is just the Core incarnate, and hasn't been farming these levels like the knights have).

The first level they encountered was a Wolver Den, and the main dangers there were Sentient Quicksand and Wolvers. Next up was Clockworks Tunnels, and the main dangers were massive pistons, trapdoors, spike traps, and slimes.

Meanwhile, Equinox and friends have noticed that one of the elevators is displaying a Wolver Den when it's not supposed to (it should have cycled out, I presume). This naturally gets Equinox curious, so he recruits his friends to follow him down into it to explore this curious phenomenon.

I appear to have skipped Kyrto's crossing through Emberlight. Oh well.

So, considering that nothing's been posted for a while, Could someone post what's to happen in the wolver den? I've lost myself trying to figure out exactly what I was posting, but. . . Get on with the story already!

As for the whole Teyailain thing, we could just have him stabbed and unconscious, so that anyone could just swoop over and take control.
If you can tell, I'm not very attached to my character unlike some of my others. . . .

So what, did archemiday fall through the elevator, while gaining speed down past a few levels down to emberlight?
That's the only realistic way that arch could have gotten down there.

He crashlanded near Yuna. She is at EMBERLIGHT, and is looking at the elevator terminal for some reason.

Your idea is great! Especially since I know just the thing for Anubis to be saved from: Greavers. They're incredibly annoying, even if you don't have an inherent weakness to shadow, armor that doesn't protect against said damage type, and no piercing weapons. Gwen, on the other hand, can kill them easily, thanks to her natural shadow resistance and rapier.

The way I imagine it, Gwen and Axis are always at odds (at first). Axis seems cruel and calculating, while Gwen seems kind and equally calculating. However, as they get to know each other, they recognize each other for who they are, and eventually become friends. This makes Axis as sort of an anti-hero (not a villain, per se).

For the sake of story purposes, we will pretend that each Clockworks level is vast and expansive, both horizontally and vertically, allowing for stories of exploration in both direction.

Axis may at first be submissive to Kyrto, but as he becomes friends with Gwen and begins to understand her point of view, I'd imagine him becoming dissatisfied with Kyrto's methods, and may eventually turn on Kyrto altogether by the end of the story.

I would like to see him and Gwen both save each other's hides on occasion. It's kinda hard to beat the awesomeness of two opposing characters having to work together to survive.

I'm aware. In fact, my story addition utilizes him. Unfortunately, our tales appear to be in conflict. With a few modifications, they could be blended together; are you interested in such a solution?

EDIT: the idea behind each level is to introduce new characters and challenges, while maintaining a sense of awe, exploration, and fear. We players already know what these monsters are like, but we need to portray them as new and deadly.

When you said 'she' in word 24 of paragraph 2, line 1, is 'she' Gwen, or the stranger? Because if it's the stranger who's 'she', I can make it so the stranger was once Jason's friend. That'll add a whole lot more interesting stuff into the story. Once again, writer's block.

Correct, "she" refers to the Fallen stranger. She is a very ominous being intended to scare or freak-out the characters. There exist multiple Fallen Valkyries in the underworld, so she is not unique. But you are free to give her a history with Jason. :)

I'm thinking that her incantation brings down the legions of fiends upon the party.

Alright, considering that I knew I'd probably get a few flaws in writing that weapon/person app, considering I have aspergers so it's hard to explain theories, but not so much when typing what I must think. It's almost like a second nature over speaking but nearly flawless.

So, I as a soul inside the weapon can explain what happens. Every time someone is killed with the scythe, said person's soul enters the weapon, which I shortly after eat. (Tasteless, but the texture is pretty good) ((Soul Eater much? Did not mean to make myself one of those until I typed that. . . OOPS!)
The soul is my lunch, but there's another side to this. I power the weapon, so I will need more and more souls to reach the extent of the weapon.

Is this explanatory for you enough?

Although Thinslayer might reject it, but I can always try to make changes to it.

Souls need not consume each other. They don't take up any space; why can't, say, Liminori be the dominant soul and the personality of the blade, while the other souls simply add to its power?

Also, I've developed major writer's block. I have no idea what to do with Gwen at the moment.

I like the sound of a scythe, but you do not give explanations for the reason as to why it can materialize out of midair, nor the reason as to why it can inflict Stun, Poison, Fire, Lightning and Darkness. Regarding the Darkness bit, please know that only very few of Chosen can use darkness, even fewer of the Chosen can use Chaos, and that 'darkness' is not a status effect. Let me make this clearer.

Concerning your weapon, could you explain WHY the damage increases after each hit, and what happens to the scythe when the damage it deals increases? Also, the status effects it provides are Mary-Sueish. Why would a Scythe cause Stun, weirder yet Lightning? The Darkness bit just blew the roof off this place. Furthermore, if it inflicted fire and poison, the poison would evaporate, thus nullifying the poison effect. I'd suggest this as your status effect, with explanation:

Due to a limited, yet concealed bit of poison inside the scythe, it can poison the enemy through a small crack in the blade if it stabs through the opponent.

Can't you at least try to answer my questions and follow my suggestions? I'll ask more questions, then.

Liminori is a soul inside a weapon, right? When someone is killed with 'Liminori', does the soul enter the weapon and make it stronger as you have stated, or does your character eat the soul, as you have also stated? And I thought you said that Liminori powers the weapon:

"Her soul was put into a weapon."
"every person who is killed with this weapon is used to raise the star level"

Since she IS the weapon, and you have said that she powers the weapon, why do you contradict that statement saying that it is not her who powers the weapon, but it is Teyelain? Also, is Liminori a Soul Eater? How are Liminori and Teyelain so connected that, as you say, they can share souls between them?

Please answer these questions, along with the other questions in the post I quoted with the double quotation marks. I'm doing this so your character won't be a Mary Sue.

From the guy that has a Gary sue character in RtC and Retribution. It's....just hard to swallow that when your character is super powered and a bit Garry sueish himself. Thin's already said it's ok, so why keep harassing Liminori about this?
