OOO should make missions unable to be replayed. This would revive the arcade and mean less people quit. This is because people just replay boss missions and never do anything else. Too often do I hear the new players complain that they are bored of JK because they are always repeditively doing the same thing, grinding just to get to T3. But back before missions, people used the arcade and everytime they went it was different, fun and actually challenging. Like I remember having to do 2 arenas and a devilite level to get to JK and that was more fun than JK itself. Now, newbs just have to click 3 times. No wonder so many ppl are leaving. Like before the attitude at JK and other levels is like "come on guys we spent the last half hour getting here" now its like "meh, its only 10 mist". If replaying missions was disabled then things will be how it used to be and ppl wont quit after 2 weeks and the game be allot more fun and varied

No problem, new players can intentionally never finish KoA mission so it never gets blocked.
Since there's reallly nothing after Vana yet (only a "congratulations" scene), no one would care about that.

Easily preventable. All theyd

Easily preventable.

All theyd have to do is add a line of code into the vana class. When he gets defeated it invokes a method which sets it to be un replayable. They did a simmilar thing with the halloween even mission I belive.

Because we really don't like players being able to help their inexperienced friends.

Maybe we could do something like this instead. You get the same no-payout effect that drives people back to the arcade, but you can still help your friends out if they need it. Either way, forcing people to not do missions isn't the best way to revive the arcade - the arcade needs a draw of its own.

No. If only it would cause

No.

If only it would cause players to leave the game, and prevent new ones from coming in.

Why would it do that? If

Why would it do that? If missions were a one time thing people will accept it and just go to the arcade. People wouldnt leave because of it. And even if it did. Not as nearly as much as are leaving already

Maybe this

Ok one suggestion, cant replay missions. But can get invited to them if they have been completed (if they havent they cant) and get 1/4 heat,1/4 crowns, dont get mats and only 1 token rather than 3-4

And in the arcade you get 5/4 heat,5/4 crowns and the normal stuff.

The arcade was fun and challenging before missions, but think about how much EASIER missions make your life. Instead of having to bust all of your mist on a single JK run, you can do a couple of JKs a day. Players who want the challenge still use the arcade. People who prefer the slightly easier method use missions. And I've noticed that you get 1/2 crowns from missions compared to their arcade counterparts. There's a reason why OOO left the arcade. For guys like you. So that you will have options. So, instead of saying you think missions should be gone, be glad that you have options.

"So, instead of saying you think missions should be gone, be glad that you have options."

What options?

Option 1: Do these bunch of levels that costs crowns to enter, and doesn't give much crowns as a reward
Option 2: Do these bunch of levels that are free to enter and you get more crowns by playing them

Doesn't seem like much of a choice to me.

"think about how much EASIER missions make your life"
And think about how badly making the game too easy ruins the progression curve.

I was going to reply to the rest of his paragraph but it's starting to wear down on me having to explain economy fundamentals and general player progression mechanics to every Bob and Joe who doesn't know and who just blurts their mind on the forums. I should create one enourmous thread or blog or something on the whole ordeal and just refer people to that whenever they say something stupid.
