@Night-Rove: I don't know about the others but most of Aequitas has been in Tier 2 and wrecked havoc. We left by choice. I rejoined Tier 2 recently and wrecked havoc. Tier 2 is an easier version of Tier 3 so thinking people can't simply transfer skills based on the extra hits in Tier 2 is misunderstood.
Your list worth crap, the only real "I can aim for myself" is my son Cano and Soli, the rest is pure garbage.

ya know guys, I know Lockdown is considered a PVP type of game, and i know there are a LOT OF YOU out there who actually DO take it pretty seriously...and there are also people out there who only play for fun! LD has a mixture of players who are good, and players who..well..i guess you can say are just bad. But isn't that what makes Lockdown FUN? Having a good variety of good/bad players makes the game fun! AND
Lockdown is a team game, so really, you can't just focus on that one guy who may have done all the damage in their team. You also got to focus on the other people, the people who may have been bad, not doing all the damage, BUT were there, to cap and try to defend the points. Ya know, there's a saying, that real players are people who hide in the shadows, not seeking for glory and fame, but doing what is needed to do to finish the job right. So, people out there in LD who always say they are good because of their AMAZING damage, well you should rethink that. And instead, try focusing on trying to help your team out with capping and defending bases and also instead of calling people noob you should praise them, and if u DO somehow get the highest damage out there in LD, well you don't necessarily have to tell everyone about it. Just keep quiet, and sooner or later, people out there in LD will start noticing you. They will start noticing you, through your acts of kindness and being humble. They will know you in LD, and when they see you in the game, they will praise you and really try to talk to you. They already know they have a good team member and they already know that, that team member will not be someone out there who always talks their team members down and calls them noobs, but someone who will WIN WITH THE TEAM. Naming top players shouldn't really be done, but instead, we should name PLAYERS OUT THERE who actually do the objectives, for example, capping and defending; and people out there who help the team, while having a great attitude about it! The amount of people in this section, is not even spoken of. For they are usually blocked out by the players with top damages. These players may be, who knows, players who are only 1 star,2 star, or 4 star, or even 5 STAR! but they TOO deserve some recognition.
*OK, im done my speech now..* Hope this actually changes something out there in the LD PVP world, and lets try to change what we see about it.

- I had a team member out there in a game one time, who was a guardian, and ya know what, he didnt focus on getting damage. Instead, he followed the entire team and healed them. He defended the points along with the team, only with a 1 star sword *this was in t2* and when i talked to him and complimented him about being a great guardian, he kindly said 'thanks" "you are great too!" I forgot his name now, but This is someone in my record books. He was someone who actually literally followed the team, healed at ALL TIMES and someone who tried his best while also having a GREAT ATTITUDE even if he was losing and even if he died multiple amout of times. He was a 1 star fellow, but this one star fellow became a role model in my books.
@Spongerino: Good speech but there is a slim chance anyone will actually read and comprehend it. I do understand your team-view of LD but sadly the actual game itself doesn't actually need teamwork. Teamwork is only needed in guild vs guild due to strategy. I'm not saying to go anti-team in every game because I fully support teamwork but it's better to be good all by yourself and change the game yourself. I know only a handful of people can do it but, to be honest, even a recon backdooring can change an entire game. Is it better to do the 2 guard, 2 striker, 1 recon group while the 6th person goes around backdooring? Yeah. But what's the point if you have a monster like Exiled on your team doing what an entire team can do. If LD ever becomes more complex and influences teamwork in every game, then we'll start seeing good games, no matter if 'legends' are piled up on one team.
If you scroll up to Darkcub's picture, that supports my little paragraph. He did what an entire team could do in the same amount of time. I'm very interested to see how Three Rings will change PvP in the future after all the PvE updates. Until then, I bid you all farewell.

When people don't see the different between defends and damage.
They say "Damage is important because you need to stop your teammate from capturing points!". They're actually talking about defends... if they were the same, they wouldn't be separate Lockdown factors.
I'm not saying damage is less important, but people need to learn the difference between a defend and damage.

That means you say that I am an AT user wich I'm not because In think AT is useless, it's not a crime otherwise allmost 80% of the RLD pllayers would've been locked up in jail and let's face it that 80% are AT users. Minimetaknight is possibly the biggest joke on the face of the earth. Ask a couple of the other guys who have commented on this post and I can guarantee we've all had a good laugh about Minimeta and/or his guild.

The chances are your beating the other team because they don't have any "good" players on their side Yur only good right now because you have unique variants and Internet connection that helps you. Some of you even mentioned that people who use Auto target are "skill less" because they need help to "aim" well your also getting help by using uvs to make you a better player.
If you disagree with what I said then I expect a video of you playing lockdown with bad Internet connection or using weakest gear with no unique variants.
To clarify right now most of you who call your self "best at Lockdown" your only being best at being "skolver/wolver line clone"
@Icegill I've never seen you "cause havoc in tier 2 lockdown but a video would be nice to prove that your all that.
@Feller/Fehzor tier 2 people don't play tier 3 because they can't afford to buy tier 3 gear yet so you can't sa that they suck. The funny thing is I see tier 3 people coming to tier 2 (I don't know what their reason is). Their are many ways that tier 2 lockdown is different for tier 3 one is a average dusker clone with trinkets won't die from 2-3 gran Faust hits.

DEFENDING is the most important thing to do in Lockdown. People may be like 'omg nice u got 12 caps', but the only thing that means is that they didn't defend the bases that they captured, and left it to the other team. They also probably rarely solo-capped, and just capped when they saw other player(s) were. You can also get DAMAGE while defending, which is also important, because if the other team is never dead then it's hard to CAPTURE.
Damage, capping, and defending are all important in Lockdown. You can't win with just one.

Sadly, it's going to be bad for those people who don't use their damage productively, and the result board will say "0" and "0" for them.
Looks like you are truly an uncultured Spiral Knights player. Icegill is one of the best LD players ever to play SK and can whoop your ass any day of the week. I don't know why all these idiots are commenting and hating on all these good LD players, just shut up or get better.

You're worse than Feller if you truly believe that. You're saying anyone who's good automatically has great uvs and gear. I have horrible gear with a set ASI high and I can carry a team. I know tons of people who have horrible gear and can carry a team. Deoghee never had ASI on any of his randomized loadouts. Yes, he purposely loads himself up with horrible gear that doesn't even correspond with each other (dusker cap with dragon scale armor 5* and a god dang 4* rigadoon) and absolutely dominates. Who are you to incorrectly judge the entire LD community based on your own experiences and pity feelings hurt.

@icegill and Sarf No I can't prove that I'm a good Lockdown player but I can prove what disadvantages that makes me such a bad player. I know that everyone has skill that they have learned or yet to be learned but all these unique variants and Internet connection can change that.
@Sarf I know that Ice can beat me plenty of times but that won't change the facts that he still has more advantages than me if you want I'll post a video (if I can) about what all those disadvantages are.
@Icey You aren't bad but you use AT and in my opinion AT users can't be the best because for me aiming is very important and requires a lot of skill.
Is just that. Is not that we hate you, or snarks or others, is the feature we hate.
Maybe with practice you all can get the same level without AT, but I know how hard is to get a 2 GF combo without AT, or dance without loosing your target, specially when I'm watching everything in past.
I test Brandish and there's no way to be a "Monster Player" without turn AT on, the weapon itself lacks of accuracy. Maybe some players use that line, but without AT that weapon will never be a good wep for LD.

Brandish isn't useless without AT, all I can say is that it's the most efficient noob killer, e.g. players with AA and no heart trinkets. However, it lacks accuracy when you play more experienced players that can manage to avoid the tiny hitbox it gives and poke you with toothpicks.
Without AT is useless if you're aiming for a "Monster Player" status, you can be perfectly a regular player with any wep and without AT.
