"Don't, Axis." I say, not caring he never told me his name. "It's useless. She is the Finder: also known by the Gods as the Abomination. She is ignorant of all rules of reality. An outsider being seen through glass." I turn to look at her, then turn back to Axis. "Put your weapon down, you might provoke her. And I was never in any danger. If I didn't want her to catch me, she wouldn't have." I grin.
Return to Cradle: Origins (roleplay story)
"Fine." I replied simply, while holstering the destroyer. "If you actually are a person from the future, what do we have to do with this?" "What makes what happens now so important that higher powers sent you back in time to correct something?" Seatus was being vague, he only had himself to blame that I was inquiring this deep. "If you REALLY are from the future, do you know us, how do we end up years from now..?" I had figured Seatus knew us, considering he had called my name, even though I had never introduced myself. This was the one question that concerned me the most. If Seatus actually had knowledge of what we were doing right now, he could easily tear our plans to shreds. If he knew, I needed to dispatch of him and the witnesses, fast. I quickly mentally messaged Diablo, quickly bringing him up to speed.
I smile. "I don't want to make a bigger mess than the Star Dragon can clean up! If you want to know why I'm here, I was in a stasis within Eden, the Secret Eden. I was called upon by the Star Dragon. He explained to me that all points in time are true. Something happens, happened, and will happen here. It's happened before, it's happening now, and it will happen again. The only reason no one knows or remembers is because the Star Dragon cleans his assets' messes up. Yeah, there are others like me who follow him. My Master Alice said I should, since she was perfectly safe. Time breaks, and my new Master fixes it. What a life!" I grin. "My adventures are wonderful, and just the thing I need. I am only used in dangerous situations though, because he says I am too precious to waste on the situations others can handle. So, I'm here because two entities I'm connected to have woken up in this timeline, and I have to stop them because their battle could severely shake the timeline."
I frown a little, feeling my voice crack. "I like this life, but it gets lonely. I am allowed access to the timeline because I'm separated from my own. And after this, after the Star Dragon cleans up the storm I've created, no one remembers me, and I go on to the next assignment..." I look up, staring at Axis. "But I know your name, because you got recognized by the Gods as well. Your true name. But I can't tell it to you now, youlre not recognized yet."
I turn to Gwen. "The Finder is a version of someone...someone who eventually returns, but the Finder stays. She splits herself into four, and only one remains close to what she originally was. She's great too, but unfortunately she stays bound to an everchanging world. And there she protects, abandons, harms, and saves her people. She is as everchanging as the world she guards..." I say softly. "You need this information to trust me. Yet when I leave, you'll forget everything. You'll uncover the treachery, lives will be ended and extended, a great city will burn, and all will come true, but no one will remember me...."
Surprisingly, Gwen understood what Seatus was saying. "So this...creature is a temporally restricted guardian of her world, and there are four different versions of her across four timelines? She exhibits symptoms of a failed telepathic link. Only the most powerful teleforce users can impose one on an unwilling recipient, and only the most skilled can pull out of one without doing damage. Unless the link was forcibly severed, in which case...wait, that creature isn't a puppet, is she?"
(OOC: she's a student of the teleforce, as you can probably guess. xD)
OOC: I was waiting on Thin, but I suppouse he forgot. Just a question.... Why does Diablo want Topo?
I was ushered into the interrogation room again, by two well armed guards, wielding Blasters, the notably dangerous plasma grenade launcher.
The room was bare, save for a table and two chairs. I sat down in one of them, then awaited my interrogation.
OOC II: Oh, and Topo likes his Truth Serum in Orange Juice Flavour, but raspberry is also fine. But apples are a big no-no
(OOC: I haven't forgotten. In fact, I was planning something right about now.)
Diavolo entered the room with an armed guard, who handcuffed Topo and had him stand up. Diavolo said quickly, "Come! I have an appointment with the White Council. I expect you to come and watch." The guard escorted him outside, where both he and Diavolo summoned their wings and took flight, carrying Topo with them. Within a few minutes of high-speed flight, they arrived at the Council building, where they spotted Gwen, Seatus, and a fleeing black figure. "Watch and learn, Topo." Diavolo extended his arms and enclosed Seatus in a temporary teleforce prison, then levitated Gwen off the ground and brought her to him. "What do you want with me, uncle?" Gwen asked Diavolo (he is her great-uncle). He snickered and said, "Oh, you'll see soon enough." He took the both of them and flew back to his mansion.
On their arrival, he threw Gwen into a small holding cell. And by small, I mean kennel-sized. He cuffed Topo to the floor in front of her a couple meters away. "Now we are ready for the interrogation. Tell me Topo, what is your connection to this woman?"
I let out a sigh. "Diavolo" had left me in the awkward position of covering for his sudden arrival and capture of Seatus and Gwen. Right after Diablo had left with his two new prisoners, the beast quickly darted after the fading figures. When he had approached I was in genuine shock, Diablo hardly made quick decisions he must have been interested by something. Another thing I had caught was that one of the individuals that had broken into the CE facility was next to him, restrained by guards of course. I knew exactly how to cover this up, it had been some time since I had a reason to deceive the council. I paused for a second, I felt an uneasiness with this. I unwittingly sat down, and just thought. Seatus hadn't a part of this, he didn't deserve the sort of torture Diablo was capable of handing out. The same could be said about Gwen, this whole plot would damage lives.
I quickly stood up, and put off the thought. This plan had to go through, Almire would fall. I quickly rushed back to the council building, on foot so it seemed I had been exhausted. "Gwenyvier and Seatus were taken!" I shouted in a panicked voice. The council soon began to go back into an uproar, this time I wouldn't be calming it down. "What happened?" a startled voice cried. "She and Seatus were taken by a group, led by one of the individuals she raided the CE compound with." I said, hastily regaining my breath. "Give us a Vog forsaken name, Axis!" "It was the individual that hit Damian earlier." I said gesturing to him. "It was Topoyozada." I said. Rage filled the council almost immediately, Gwen was beloved by angels everywhere. "Why didn't you stop them?" another voice inquired. "There were four of them, I was restrained with teleforce by at least two of them while the grabbed Gwen and restrained Seatus in a teleforce cage." "The beast that had taken Seatus earlier followed them." "I...need to get some air." I said as I left the building, feigning sadness. I quickly messaged Diablo mentally, "Congratulations Diablo, you have one of the most wanted men in Valhalla captured." If he hadn't gotten what I had done from the initial message, the bulletin the council would inevitably notify him of the situation.
When Diablo got Axis's message, he was delighted. "Axis, that is pure genius! You're getting a raise just for that. I'll see what I can do with that." He closed the channel and turned to Topo and Gwen. "Now Topoyozada, your family is remarkably wealthy, correct? Gwen's and my family, the Valentines, are also remarkably wealthy, and Gwen is a very prominent public figure. It would be to our mutual benefit if you two were to...you know...marry."
Gwen sneered. "I'll do no such thing."
"You are not in a position to refuse," retorted Diablo.
"A contract made under duress is not binding."
"Darling, you know I don't care about your petty laws."
"I will not marry a man I hardly know."
"You're holding out for Vanaduke, aren't you?"
"No. What of it?"
"Yes you are. I've seen the way he ogles at you."
"He's an honorable man. It's beneath you to slight him."
"So you do harbor feelings for him!"
"I do not! Leave me alone."
Diablo chortled. "Darling, I'll do no such thing. In fact, I'll do quite the opposite. Guard, throw them in the cooler, will you?" The guard snickered and saluted. "With pleasure!" With that, he uncuffed Topo and held him in one hand, hauled Gwen out of her cage and held her in the other hand, and threw them both into a freezing-cold room and shut the door.
Gwen shivered. "I know what that scumbag is up to. He's hoping we'll cuddle to conserve warmth. I know you're not averse to the prospect, but I refuse to give him the pleasure. I'll try to make us a little fire to keep warm. Keep yourself occupied, and don't fall asleep." With that, she sat down, crossed her legs, and began to try and create teleforce fireballs. Considering how often she was failing (she'd never tried it before), she was likely to take a long time.
[Topo could strike up a conversation, though her focus on creating fire would limit the complexity of her responses.]
I disrupt the teleforce shield around me. I look around, closing my eyes and searching the area. I eventually find the heartbeat of Gwen. How can I forget a heart that stays so calm and strong? I walk to the bars of my cell, and imagine water. Strong, acidic water. The pollution of the water underneath rises, rushing quickly across the bars, cutting them enough for me to force my hand against them, and they fly off. I step out of my cell, and can hear her heart beat. I run through the halls, passing guards and knocking the backs of their heads. I run, and before I know it, I appear in her cell in a crimson light. "I'll save us, but first..." I fall to the floor, to nap.
I watch Gwen try to make some fireballs. Useless. After a few more tries, I scoot over to her, and give her a small container. "Here, it's a warming can. Should keep you warm."
I scoot backwards, then wrap my arms around my kness. It was cold, real cold, after I had given Gwen my warming container. Suddenly, with a flash of crimson light, Xindao appeared, only...... different. "I'll save us, but first...." He fell to the floor, and a gentle snoring filled the cooling room.
I grin at Gwen, then said, "Looks like help is on it's way."
Silence.
I make another attempt to strike up a conversation, "Mean uncle you got there.... What's his name?"
OOC: I expect me to be attacked when we escape, since Axis has just made me a public enemy. :P
The beast walked towards the podium, and began speaking. "They did not arrive with weapons. They were shot at because they were a threat to the operation currently happening under our noses. Something is creating Crystal Energy. Has anyone absorbed Crystal Energy? Anyone? Anyone? Well, the results are catastrophic. Absorbing at least a tub-worth of Crystal Energy genetically alters the body, and enhances the mind. That amount is enough to have standard control over elements. Now, I imagine whatever the Crystal Energy is being made of is almost a limitless supply. To have even this much CE in one place is trouble. Whoever is making this is a threat. This has even attracted the attention of god-like beings. It is a dangerous machine, and it might just ruin many lives simply by existing."
Kirito stood up from his seat, and began his interrogation. "First of all, I want to know why this 'Snarbolax' is here, in this particular time. I'm also curious as to how he got here. How can we trust him?"
Glaring at half the group, he continued with his eyes growing narrower by the second, "How can we of the Council trust ANY of you?" He pointed at Top, "He's a loyal guard; I've known him for some time."
He turned to look at Arch, and snarled. "This... Archemiday was picked up right off the street. How do we know he's worthy of any trust? The mercenary Otto only assists us for money. The...boy/girl (no offense) Nai is also new here. Seatus just showed up out of the blue, possesses Xindao, then expects us to help him. Kinda fishy, if you ask me. And this Damian..." He narrowed his eyes even further at Damian, who flipped his ethereal-like golden hair to one side, as if Damian didn't care about what he thought.
"Although I don't find him as suspicious as Arch, one has to ask, 'Why is he here?' Why are any of you here? And how do we know none of you are spies or sleeper agents sent here by some malicious third party? The answer to that is... We can't know. So keep that in mind. If this situation Seatus spoke of is so important, then know that if any of you commit a treachery to the group, it wont matter where or if you hide. I will hunt you down. And I will kill you in a manner that will make you wish you were never born. Now, Seatus, if you'd care to answer my questions, please come up to the stand."
Damian laughed silently. He was known throughout Isora as the most fearsome hitman of their time, and yet this angel had the nerve to say that he would kill him in a torturous manner.
Such delusional angels.
Nai stared at Damian, wondering if he met him before. Damian returned the glare. They were just so oddly familiar. Almost as if-
Anyhow, Gwen slowly returned to the podium. "Kirito's concerns may be valid. However, they have already seen beforehand that which we would have kept secret, and since we have nothing else worth hiding, I feel that it is pointless to question their trustworthiness with this information. The crystal energy we recovered from the room is still in there, but it was divided up amongst the participants in the operation as their payment."
"Our concern is not with the energy, but rather with the device that crystalized it. Most such devices are large, inefficient, and complex, producing only enough for the electrical needs of civilization and little more. But this device crystalized as much energy in one day as Valhalla uses in one year. And this is only one storage room! Perhaps it produced far, far more, and we are merely unaware of it? My point is, we don't yet know the scope of the problem. Let us assume the worst."
"Before we leave this meeting today, we must settle upon a course of action. I recommend that representatives from each nation search for the device and energy storage rooms within their respective nations, and report their findings by the next meeting. We should keep in touch just in case swifter action is needed."
Gwen slowly returned to her seat, burying her head in her hands. She had let complete strangers into the Council, with top-secret information they could sell for millions. How dumb was that?
Kirito looked at her, and turned to look at Seatus as he spoke,"You want to know how you can trust me? Well, if you want me to be honest, I don't see any reason for you to currently trust me. I exist among you all today, having taken the form of another. But still."
But what? Damian was getting more and more angry at the beast. For a reason he did not know. But a voice kept telling him this inside his head.
His name is Seatus. He is not of this world.
Damian shook the thought out of his head as Seatus continued,"Life could be declared good if people could see the real things around them...but please, let's not bring others into this. I come out of the blue so that I may warn you, and so that I can guide Isora to another world...but that can't happen if two entities destroy this world. You want to know how I got here? Fine!"
Suddenly, almost telepathically, a vision of Seatus lying down in a dark dimension appeared in Damian's mind. In much less than a few seconds, he is consumed by the substance and is shot into Xindao's body. Damian pondered upon this for a few seconds, before Seatus was immediately dragged through the window by a creature and thrown onto the cobblestone-paved pathway.
The creature who dragged the beast outside was as ugly; if not more deformed than the beast of a thing which was trying to tell them that it was a time-traveller, which was quite a ludicrous statement. Damian arrived just in time to see a middle-aged(he technically is middle-aged, right?) angel floating slowly downwards towards Gwen, before grabbing her and jetting off into the cloudy distance.
Not on my watch you're not.
Damian stood on the grassy plain, hand outstretched to where he thought Diablo was. Almost instantaneously, a semi-sphere of darkness appeared in his hand, and blasted at speeds unimaginable towards Diablo. A tracker spell. Damian slowly walked back to the Council room, gestured for someone to follow him, and immediately muttered something beneath his breath,"Tenebris Andron, aperire." Almost instantaneously, a portal of darkness opened before Damian. Damian seemed pleased, and ran through it. It dissipated into thin air a few seconds after he entered it.
Damian reappeared outside the cooling room that Gwen and Top were in, and surprisingly, found Seatus lying on the floor. Damian held out his right palm towards the door, and a dark sphere began forming on his palm for a few seconds, before it shot itself towards the door, causing an explosion near the door to form and slam the door into the white wall of the cold room. "Isn't it a bit cool in here?" Damian smiled.
OOC: Is it just me or is this getting a bit stupid? The story begins to lack when you just instantly deus ex machina yourself or others out of a situation that could twist the story big time. But no, you wouldn't wanna face some character development, would you? I feel that this moment in the cooler could make a big problem in the story. Maybe Topo and Gwen might've finally cracked and cuddled? Don't try and play the goddamn hero all the time. Maybe Seatus could be taken captive by Diablo. For the sake of the story, no deus ex machinas, please...
Yeah well, Seatus is going to be the silly furniture in the backround you kind of criticise at first and begin to find a common interest with the person you're criticising with. Seatus will remain asleep until Diablo either needs him OR when Top and Gwen converse with two posts each. Thinslayer can decide to take me out for intense interrogation or leave me there to find a common ground. Or he can take me out of the cell via Diablo and Gwen and Top converse until Seatus wakes up.
Whatever the case, it would be out of character for Seatus to wait in his cell.
I'm kinda confused at your first sentence. Explain? Also, I said Seatus COULD be captured, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'd be HELD.
Well, let's see. A good way to explain.....ah! The large, lazy sleeping puppy sitting on the ground you make a small joke about to have you both laugh, and then you're both intrigued about the other's interests to learn more about them. If I knew the word, I would say it....
And yeah, not be held. He could've left his cell when he wished, but he went where Gwen went, so as to help her escape so they could solve the current problem, and eventually the timeline's impending doom being held in the hands of two hateful Queens.
@Anyone at All
Why is Seatus sleeping? Wouldn't YOU sleep if all your troubles could eventually be fixed? Seatus finds mortal lives too short, and he wants to spend his time being happy, not worrying about the next paycheck. He finds joy in his thrilling life, yet sadness no one will remember him afterwards.
OOC: What in hell, Ultima?! I was right in the middle of a great dramtic story scene, where Gwen and Topo get left together (See OOC #2) then you burst in and become the &@#@ing hero. And now, I have remembered why I have hated you so much, Ultima. And nothing, would stop me from hating on him. I have already stopped, for the sake of this Role-play, but once again, he has ruined this.
OOC #2: Man. In 'After Cradle', Topo is kinda a big character. 'Intiate Protocol 13', still, pretty big character. In here, 'RtC: Orgins', I have already made a minor-ish application, because I see new ppl coming in, so I decided to follow Liminori's advice. Make a small character. And still... I get captured and be forced to cuddle with Gwen. (Seriously hoping that would happen, but since Seatus is here (Topo still thinks Xindao is here, not Seatus.)
OOC #3: [REDACTED DUE TO OBSESSIVE AMOUNT OF PROFRANITY]
I'm sorry I started this trend of OOC posts without any actual RP material, maybe we should use the discussion thread for what it us there for. But yes, Top, that is exactly what in saying.
OOC: You can still cuddle. If I was in that situation, I wouldn't let a teleporting, seeming-lunatic, unconcious man in the back of the cell stop me. That might have come out wrong....
Lol, anyways, I didn't read Ultima's post all the way through, and THEN I did.
Well, I have one thing to say:
************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ RAGE
EDIT: But yanno, we can always redact our posts, eh homewreckers? (Me, Ultima and....whoever)
OOC:
Top, you have to understand that I only posted what I did because:
1) Seatus explained that his character somehow got into the room, and was about to save them if did he not sleep.
2) Topoyozada said that 'Help is on the way'. I figured that you meant you wanted help, so I decided to make my character bust through the door in an act of arrogance.
LOL
Your hatred for me only subtracts to the little respect I hold for you and your repeated rants on how I am hated upon by Topoyozariane, leader of the Ultimaknightz haters.
Really, even though I didn't want to say this, you sound like some annoying 10-year old kid angry at me for a tiny misconception I formed accidentally when I misinterpreted your post.
If you really want me to redact my post, just say it in a polite way. I'll do it anyways.
@Seatus
Hey now. Don't just add to the haters, bro. :P
Ultima, I was going to make Kirito try and help Gwen and Top out, only to be ambushed himself. Well. I'm not going to rage at you for beating me to it, but I'm a little upset at myself for my inactivity. I just don't like how your character is always arrogant and bursts in as a hero. Besides, how come your character busts everyone out of bad events that could help the story along? Development, much? And yes, would it really hurt you to redact that one post? I'm for the redaction of it, and I'm asking politely.
Sorry, but it kind of gets on my nerves. Sorry if you start ranting at me for honestly sharing my opinion, but that's what I think.
OOC: Help is on the way, refers to Seatus coming here, not you.
If I was a ten year old, what are you? Five? If you must, then yes. I am the leader of the haters. :D
Anyway, I won't argue with you any longer. It' just a waste of time, and posts. I'll just continue, without you intruding.

OOC: Sorry for not posting lately, I've had tasks to do.
I continued down the passage way unhindered. They probably have most of them patrolling the outside. or I'm lucky. Actually, probably lucky. I come across a 3-way split. I guess this is the place we were separated as I saw from when I was knocked out. I suddenly heard a noise behind me. I turn around to find a lost soul, but not just any lost soul. It was Hegrand, Travid's lost soul friend. He comes every so often to help us out.
"Travid sent me to tell the others to escape and go to the armory. As you've already done the former, you should probably go to the armory." He informed me.
"Well, I'll have to find the armory first, but at least Travid is okay. Well, anyway, thanks and see you around." I say as I head off in a random direction, hoping to find someone else or the armory. (Sorry for the [minor] power play of Hegrand. If I butchered the way he talks/acts, tell me and I'll change it.)
Eventually, I came around a corner and found... Euclid! "There you are, here let me get you out of that cell..." I start trying all the keys on my key ring. "What the...? Dang-it! None of these fit. I guess I need more keys."
OOC2: I know how he'll get more keys, but I'll allow you to respond first.
In Diavolo's mansion...
Gwen tried and tried to make a fireball, but she just wasn't strong enough to light it. After she failed her fourth attempt, she grunted and buried her head in her hands. Everything I do is a failure. I fail at being a queen; I fail at being council leader; I fail at being a friend; I fail at keeping people safe; I even fail at making fire. What is wrong with me? She clung to Topo's heat can and sobbed bitterly.
[she'll answer Topo's question in a minute. She could really use a cuddle right now. ^.^]
In a Morai prison complex...
Euclid sat up on his stone bed. "Dmatter! How'd you get in here? Good grief man, I've never been so happy to see you. These interrogators are mean as heck. The guard holding my key went that way, but be careful, 'cause he's a tough one. Nearly tore my arm off the first time I met him. Got any weapons?"
Seatus was never in the room. Let the character development continue.
BIC
I stand, and walk from my teleforce cell. I look at the steel room around me, and decide it's meant to contain me. Silly Isorians...but that's not the case at hand. There's still much to do, and little time. I raise my right shoulder, and a thorn protrudes. I walk over to the bars, yank out the thorn, and hold it's tip against the guard's throat. "Get me Diablo. Now."
OOC: this post does not take into consideration Ultima's. If he doesn't redact it... Well. A lot of people are in support of redacting his last post, but he might still not do so. We'll just see what happens.
\______________/
Astraea
An ominous silence descends upon the group as Kirito finally relents, "Eh, whatever then. I have a feeling something big is going to happen soon, and we're gonna need all the help we can get." For a moment, nobody speaks. Then an eerie feeling passes over me, and before I can react, a black, human-sized... Thing crashes through the window, grabs Seatus, and after taking a moment to snarl at us, darts away.
I slam my hands on the table and stomp out after them, followed by Gwen and Kirito. I don't know if anyone else is coming, and I don't care. I find the creature curiously sniffing at Seatus' hands, appearing to drink out of them. It stopped suddenly and glared at us, a not entirely sane glint in its eyes.
I wince, repulsed by the creature. It was humanoid, but it was disfigured beyond recognition. Its charred, blackened, greasy skin clung to its thin, malnourished bones. A little of its long, feminine hair remained on its head, and there were a pair of stumps where its bust had been. Only filthy rags remained where its clothes once were.
I point at it, disgusted. Not thinking, I ask, "What the [heck] is that?" Gwen clears her and throat speaks out, "Not how I would put it, but yeah. What is this monstrosity? And why did it attack you?"
Seatus shrugs indifferently. "It attacked me because it knows me. And what it is?" He looks at the ground, his tinged red hair becoming a light turquoise. He stares at Gwen, muttering, "Someone I used to know."
Suddenly, he looks up at the sky. "Something's wrong. Dear Vog, when did those get there?!" Storm clouds fill the sky at an unnatural speed. "Oh great! Someone ELSE I know is here, but who!?" I growl. Just what we needed. Another one of this guy's little 'friends'.
Axis arrives and defiantly points his weapon at the beast. "Who are you, and what business do you have charging into the council and taking someone?" I said defiantly, drawing the Destroyer and pointing it at the rotting figure.
Seatus says,"Don't, Axis." Well thats peculiar. Axis never introduced himself, yet this guy still knew his name. Come to think of it, he knew my name earlier...
Seatus sighs, "It's useless. She is the Finder: also known by the Gods as the Abomination. She is ignorant of all rules of reality. An outsider being seen through glass. Put your weapon down, you might provoke her. And I was never in any danger. If I didn't want her to catch me, she wouldn't have." A grin spreads across his face.
Axis relents. He grumbles, "Fine." and holsters his gun. He narrows his eyes and says, "If you actually are a person from the future, what do we have to do with this? What makes what happens now so important that higher powers sent you back in time to correct something? If you REALLY are from the future, do you know us, how do we end up years from now..?" I sigh.
I almost felt the urge to ask Seatus the name of who I would marry. Was he cute? Was he strong and brave, timid and sweet, funny and clever? I slapped myself mentally.
There's no time for daydreaming about hot boys! Not today, Astraea!
Seatus smiles.
"The only reason no one knows or remembers is because the Star Dragon cleans his assets' messes up. Yeah, there are others like me who follow him. My Master Alice said I should, since she was perfectly safe. Time breaks, and my new Master fixes it. What a life!"
He starts to smile. "My adventures are wonderful, and just the thing I need. I am only used in dangerous situations though, because he says I am too precious to waste on the situations others can handle. So, I'm here because two entities I'm connected to have woken up in this timeline, and I have to stop them because their battle could severely shake the timeline."
A sad frown spreads on his face. "I like this life, but it gets lonely. I am allowed access to the timeline because I'm separated from my own. And after this, after the Star Dragon cleans up the storm I've created, no one remembers me, and I go on to the next assignment...But I know your name, because you were recognized by the Gods as well. Your true name. But I can't tell it to you now, you're not recognized yet."
He turns to Gwen. "The Finder is a version of someone...someone who eventually returns, but the Finder stays. She splits herself into four, and only one remains close to what she originally was. She's great too, but unfortunately she stays bound to an ever changing world. And there she protects, abandons, harms, and saves her people. She is as ever changing as the world she guards..."
I groan. Does everyone from his time speak in riddles?
"You need this information to trust me. Yet when I leave, you'll forget everything. You'll uncover the treachery, lives will be ended and extended, a great city will burn, and all will come true, but no one will remember me...." I clapped my hands together.
"Well, then lets make the most of it! We'll clean up this mess and get some Kentucky Fried Snipes!" I watch as one of the little birds looks at us. His eyes widen, and he faints, falling to the floor.
Gwen says, "So this...creature is a temporally restricted guardian of her world, and there are four different versions of her across four timelines? She exhibits symptoms of a failed telepathic link. Only the most powerful teleforce users can impose one on an unwilling recipient, and only the most skilled can pull out of one without doing damage. Unless the link was forcibly severed, in which case...wait, that creature isn't a puppet, is she?"
Suddenly, a black wave of teleforce encroaches on Seatus. Gwen is levitated off the ground against her will by some strange force and slowly floats towards... Diavolo? What the hell was he doing here?
Gwen says with a good deal of contempt, "What do you want with me, uncle?"
He merely snickers and says, "Oh, you'll see soon enough." With that, he and his armed guard fly away. My mind took a second or two to register what had just happened, but when it did, I snarled. Nobody just shows up out of the blue and steals my friend! That already happened with Xin, so I wouldn't let it happen to Gwen too. Spreading my wings, I blast off into the air and rocket towards Diablo.
I finally arrive at Diablo's mansion, a stately property composed of marble and slate. Peering inside one of the open windows, I see Diablo sneering at Gwen and... Why was Top there? Weird. I listen closely as Diablo asks, "Now Topoyozada, your family is remarkably wealthy, correct? Gwen's and my family, the Valentines, are also extremely affluent, and Gwen is a very prominent public figure. It would be to our mutual benefit if you two were to...you know...marry."
Gwen sneers. "I'll do no such thing." I smirk; she had a way of making snarky comments even when she was neck-deep in sh*t.
"You are not in a position to refuse," Diablo retorts.
"A contract made under duress is not binding." Gwen replies.
"Darling, you know I don't care about your petty laws."
"I will not marry a man I hardly know."
"You're holding out for Vanaduke, aren't you?" My eyes widen. If Kirito heard that, it might take hours to clean up the mess he'd make.
"No. What of it?" I sigh. Perhaps she's doing so for Kirito, after all.
"Yes you are. I've seen the way he ogles at you." Okay. I was REALLY glad Kirito didn't hear that.
"He's an honorable man. It's beneath you to slight him." Gwen snarls.
"So you do harbor feelings for him!" Diablo exclaims triumphantly.
"I do not! Leave me alone." A blush forms in Gwen's face, and I can't help but think that if Kirito heard all this, he'd make Abaddon look like a gentle elderly.
Diablo chortles with glee. "Darling, I'll do no such thing. In fact, I'll do quite the opposite. Guard, throw them in the cooler, will you?" The guard, a well built man snickers and salutes. "With pleasure!" With that, he takes Top's handcuffs off and holds him in one hand, then hauls Gwen out of her cage and holds her in the other hand. Then they're out of my line of vision, probably in some horrific torture chamber.
"I have to get them out," I mutter. Suddenly, a large black... Thing hits me in the back of the head, and I fall to the floor. Motes of light dance in front of my eyes, and a voice filled with contempt asks, "And just how do you plan about doing that?"
The last thing I see is Diablo Valentine sneering down at me, his eyes filled with hate. Then I pass out.

Kirito
I ready my blade as a disgusting monstrosity breaks into the room and grabs Seatus. Before I can hack it into pieces, it darts out, followed by Astraea, Axis, and Gwen.
After a short minute or so of chaos among the Council and everyone else gathered in the room, Axis rushes back in. His eyes wide with panic, he says, "Gwenyvier and Seatus were taken!"
"What happened?" Vanaduke cries. I narrow my eyes at Axis. His breathing is too erratic to be actually be high. He's faking it. But why?
Axis' chest heaves with effort and he continues, "She and Seatus were taken by a group, led by one of the individuals she raided the CE compound with."
"Give us a Vog forsaken name, Axis!" I hear Takiza sigh.
"It was the individual that hit Damian earlier." He replies, gesturing to the angel. "It was Topoyozada." . Rage filled the council almost immediately. Gwen was beloved by everyone, Angels and humans alike.
This was all too strange. "Why didn't you stop them?" I inquire suspiciously. Axis' breathing pattern becomes even more erratic, and he says, "There were four of them, I was restrained with tele force by at least two of them while the grabbed Gwen and restrained Seatus in a teleforce cage. The beast that had taken Seatus earlier followed them. Astraea did as well, but they didn't see her."
He sighs. "I...need to get some air." With that, he walks out.
Scowling, I follow him out without being seen. I hear a shadow of his telepathic thoughts and make out "Congratulations...Diablo...most wanted... Valhalla." I frown. Now Axis really looked suspicious. I put a firm hand on his shoulder and sneer. "So... Did you really try and stop Gwen and Seatus from being captured?"
He gives me a weird look. "I said that earlier. Of course I tried."
I shake my head, disappointed. "Really now? How come out of everyone, you're the only person here? Gwen and Seatus were captured, yet they didn't take you?"
Axis shrugs. The b*stard was good at faking, I'll give him that. He replies, "Why would they want me? Gwen probably knows something about them, and they most likely know Seatus as well."
I rub my chin, trying to think. Something fishy was going on, and Axis was directly involved. For now, though, I couldn't accuse him of anything.
In time, though. In time.
OOC: You didn't really power play him. Hegrand has a very minor role in this.
This has to be the strangest chess game ever. Travid's hand floated above his knight. He convinced the guard into playing a game of chess for Travid's freedom. He looked at his remaining forces. Looks like I'm gonna lose. So much for plan A, plan B it is he thought. Travid moved his bishop into an exposed spot. As the guard went to move one of his pieces Travid quickly grabbed the chess board and smash it against the guard's head. The guard went limp and fell to the ground. After looting his body, Travid chewed on a stick of beef jerky as he walked through the hallways. After the snack he slipped in a fresh energy clip into the stolen Zapper. He looked at the map that he had stolen. This prison was a maze. Wonder if there's a Minotaur here? he mused.
I shake the guard by the scruff of his shirt, threatening to lift him up and do some real damage. "If you won't get him to me, perhaps you should get me to him." I grow thorns along my arm, piercing through the jacket. I rip off the jacket, dropping it to the floor. The tank underneath wasn't quite my style, but it at least gave me a vibe. I swing my free arm, cutting through the bars. As they fall down, I grab the guy with one arm, holding him in the facing direction. I hold the thorn to his throat. "Find me Diablo, or you can bet you're going to have a nasty cut across your neck." Of course I wasn't serious. I only harm those who don't follow the rules of Sanctuary. But I probably would leave him hanging on a wall. We walk through the tunnels before stopping in front of a large iron door. "Good. I'll just wait here, and you..." I crouch down, and, wickedly fast, the thorns still coming out of my arms release, piercing the concretebehind the boy and pinning his clothes against the wall. "See you around...maybe." I say, teleporting myself past the door's combination lock and into the office. I teleport again once I see his chair, not touching any security mechanisms. I place my feet on the desk, and relax for the time being.
Seatus should have noted that the mansion was eerily empty. The guard led Seatus, not to where Diablo is, but to where he was. It was so quiet, one could hear the grandfather clock ticking softly. Where did that villain go?
Diablo watched Astraea through the camera. She was a rare beauty, and it would be such a shame if he couldn't convince her to be with him. He brought the speaker close to his mouth. "Hello Astraea," he cooed. "Always a pleasure to see you again. Words cannot describe the dazzling elegance of your figure. Nay, no expression of thought will do you justice." He took out his pocket watch. There was still time. He continued. "I would feel absolutely terrible if anything unfortunate were to happen to you. Are you interested in cutting a deal?"
Let's make a deal.
*wretch* *cough* "NOO!!"
Don't be unreasonable. I need to use you for a few days.
"Leave me alone!"
I'll do no such thing.
*tries to run*
Very well then; you've forced my hand.
"NOOOOOOO-" *wretch* *vomit* "Please!...mercy!..."
Ugh, I forgot how disgusting you are. I can't wait to dispose of you.
"Ugh, I forgot how disgusting I am. I can't wait to dispose of me."
"Open the vortex. My Son needs to be corrected."
(OOC: It's been 12 hours, and hardly any posts besides Akdetroit's. Is everybody working or sleeping in or something??)
OOC: Sorry, most of today was spent trying to get a really good score on a small flash game for a limited edition pin from a comic I follow. Luckily, I got one JUST before they ran out. Anyway, I'm gonna post.
"Dmatter! How'd you get in here? Good grief man, I've never been so happy to see you. These interrogators are mean as heck. The guard holding my key went that way, but be careful, 'cause he's a tough one. Nearly tore my arm off the first time I met him. Got any weapons?" Euclid told me as he got up from his bed.
"I only have this zapper I got from the guard who also had this key ring. They probably took all our stuff to the armory." I replied. "Actually, he's probably almost thawed now, so we probably should get out of here soon. It'll be pretty hard getting the keys with only a zapper though. Oh, and Travid sent Hegrand to tell us to get to the armory after getting out. Be back in a minute." I head off in the direction he pointed.
After rounding a few corners, I eventually found the guy Euclid was talking about. He was big, taller than me (which is a rare sight) with muscles that show. He had probably the most expensive armor and weapons in this entire facility and the looks to scare about anyone. Obviously, he was either the prison warden, or an interrogator. Or both. Going head on with no armor would be suicide.
Lucky for me, I was behind him and he hadn't notice me yet. I got my zapper ready and slowly walk towards him. I grab his key-ring from the side. Slowly, keeping a steady pace with him, I pulled the keys off the hook. So far so good I thought to myself. I pull the keys to me.
Too fast.
The keys jingled. He stopped. Aww, shoot Before he could turn around, I reflexively pulled the trigger.
A minor shock went through his body as I sprinted away.
When I reached Euclid, I quickly blurted out "Wehaveabout15secondsbeforetheguyIgotthesekeysfromgetshereandtriestokillus!" (We have about 15 seconds before the guy I got these keys from gets here and tries to kill us!) I opened the door. "Hurry!"
OOC2: I felt that this part needed more hurry in it. Also, I just realized after writing it, there's your Minotaur Travis.
I finally pull out the laptop, I sweep away the hair in my eyes to get a good look. I lay my hand upon it, closing my eyes, and feeling the codes within unlocking themselves. I open the laptop, and find only a couple icons on the desktop. I click the one labelled, "Security" and find a grid of locations. He's got cameras up to the teeth! I think, looking through each one. I feel my conscious slipping away, my tears filling my vision. I see Lily, smiling, and falling into the Core. "I...will not forget..." I whisper. I close my eyes, my red tinged hair and eyes changing to turquoise. The laptop shakes, as does the room, as water seeps up the walls. "Maybe afterwards...." I whisper.
Get done with Astraea quickly, Diablo. I await in your office....
Get done with Astraea quickly, Diablo. I await in your office.
Diablo sneered. Some impetuous telepath was probably sitting in his expensive velvet chair. He made up his mind not to do any dueling in his office.
I'll get back to you later, boy; I'm busy. And get out of my chair!
I don't look it, but I am at least ten times your age!
I growl in the back of Diablo's mind. Water rushes like a river horizontally across the walls. It won't leave damage to the walls. Not a drop touches the carpet. I hear security marching down the hall. They probably knew something was up from the sound of the water. As the door opens, I let my eyes and hair glow, to give me a bit of regality in these modern clothes. Guns point at me, and I smile. "Put your guns down-"
"GET OUT OF THE CHAIR, AND PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK!" One shouts. I do as he complies, but as I hear the first three footfalls a wave of water comes from the wall, shoving all the guards to the floor, but only removing their guns. The water pulls the guns back, and soon the weapons are lost in the current. I look at the guard and smile. "Will you get out, please?"
Astraea
A groan escapes from my mouth, and I start to come to my senses. I cough, and blood rushes forward from my lips. I try to raise my hand to wipe it off, but immediately my arm is yanked back. I crane my head around and see my arms bound together by Volcanic Iron chains. I struggle, but the chains hold strong.
Come to think of it... My entire body is covered in restrictions. My wings are bound in a very uncomfortable position and my limbs shackled. Even when I look down, I spot a large collar around my neck. I look around; my cell is an enormous circular structure comprised of what appears to be solid titanium. I spot hundreds of guards posted all around the room.
I can't take them all at once. I can't escape this hellhole.
I'm completely powerless. And at the mercy of... Diablo.
I snarl at the camera in front of me. The seductive voice of Diablo coos at me, "Hello Astraea." I spit at the camera, and hear Diablo chuckle.
"Always a pleasure to see you as well. Astraea... Words cannot describe the dazzling elegance of your figure." I scowl; I hated being complimented by Diablo. Actually, I didn't relish the thought of most boys complimenting my body. It seemed too... Strange.
Diablo continues, "Nay, no expression of thought will do you justice."
After a short pause, he finishes, "I would feel absolutely terrible if anything unfortunate were to happen to you. Are you interested in cutting a deal?"
I utter a guttural growl and put on a fake face of interest. I purr seductively, "Depends what kind of deal you want to make." I put all of my effort into sounding as sexual and seductive as possible, but my blazing eyes reveal the rage boiling under my expression of interest.
Diablo chuckles. "Excellent!"
I sneer. Just you wait, you bastard. If you slip up even a bit, if my bonds loosen in the slightest... I will break out and destroy this entire compound. Then I'll come for you.
Diablo Valentine. When I free myself of these chains... I will find you. And I will kill you.
______
@Thin: just what exactly is the "deal" diablo wants to make with Astraea? If I knew what it was, my post would've been longer.
(OOC: he's first playing it safe by determining whether she wants any deal at all.)
Diablo couldn't decide whether she was angry or flirting with him. Both perhaps? That excited him even more. He decided to pay her a visit, intentionally avoiding that..."elderly" kid in his chair. He made his way to Astraea's cell. She was way more beautiful in person.
(OOC: have you seen Diablo's picture? He's supposed to be good-looking. He certainly likes himself a good deal.)
He opened her cell door and cautiously approached her. "What kind of deal, you ask? Would you be interested in one that is cut in your favor? You are undoubtedly aware of my family's wealth and power. We control almost the entirety of the public and private sectors, have large holdings in several well-known businesses, have a few people in power in Valhalla, and even have someone on the White Council itself. All of that could be yours. In exchange..." He began to gently stroke her back. "You can guess what it is I want," he whispered seductively in her ear.
(OOC: would he really sacrifice everything just to have her, or was there something else about her that he deemed far more valuable?)
Otto was lugging around the cans of CE, heading home. No one seemed to be out at this hour, so he merely nonchalantly wandered the streets. Only to hear what seemed like shattering glass coming from the direction of... The Council building? He stashed the cans in an alley and charged toward where he was in the morning. A monster seemed to be carrying some guy with glowing hair(who probably thought he was better than everyone because of that very fact). It raced to the outskirts as Otto ran towards a small hill next to the road. The thing stopped, it's grey skin looking dry but moist at the same time and its mess of hair being softly played with by the wind. The hostage seemed to speak to it as Gwen and the child Queen caught up. Otto dismissed that and unslung his rifle, pulled back the bolt and loaded it. He lined up the shot, aiming for the neck. He exhaled and fired. The shot went wild, heading way off into the distance.
At the last second, a large glaive had been thrown at Otto's head and it was now in the stock of the rifle. Otto was standing, gun in his right hand, sword in his left. In front of him, her right hand an armoured, wicked claw, stood Shark. That was her only known name. She used to be the deadliest Morai agent. But a mysterious power caused her to go AWOL. She massacred her squad and began hunting Isoran troopers who had never believed in gods. Otto was one of them, and putting her down was, well. His last mission. He succeeded. So why was she here. Nevertheless, she couldn't be reason with. He readied himself as the glaive unstuck itself and flew into her grasp. Then Otto charged.
Damian stood on the grassy plain, hand outstretched to where he thought Diablo was. A semi-sphere of darkness slowly formed in his hand, and was blasted at speeds unimaginable towards Diablo. A tracker spell, though it would only last for a few minutes.
Damian reappeared with sand touching his black sneakers. "Crap." Around him was a seemingly never-ending sea of yellow sand, which made him stumble around for a few moments, before he regained his balance. Damian was on the other half of Isora. Damian scowled, before muttering the same words he used to form the portal again, and ran through it.
Damian reappeared somewhere and found his emerald-green eyes staring at a mansion of high magnitude. Then he noticed it. It was Diablo Valentine's mansion. Through the large, elegantly tiled, yet somewhat greasy windows, his eyes widened in horror as he spotted Astraea lying on the red carpet that lay on the tiled, wooden floor, with a black figure standing next to her.
Should I save her, and risk being ambushed? Or do nothing, while she may be killed at any time? Crap. Lemme get a closer look at this.
Damian slowly walked towards the huge, oaken doors of the mansion, raised his palm to face the doors, and almost instantly, a sphere began forming on his palm. It took only a few seconds for it to turn purple, and it shot itself at speeds unimaginable at the doors, causing an explosion to form and the doors to be turned to smithereens. Damian was greeted by a legion of guards with guns aimed at his head.
Let's dance.
The guard in front with a muscular build shot the first bullet at him, which was from a Cyrotech Alchemer, if he was correct. Damian instantaneously summoned his swords, readied a battle stance, and with almost god-like precision, sliced the bullet in half, freezing the gravel-filled pathway behind him. Vanishing in a burst of darkness, he appeared next to the guard who shot it at him, kicked his gun into the air, jumped up into the air himself and hit it with a tornado roundhouse kick towards another guard. Vanishing once again, he reappeared next to another guard, stabbing him through his heart and using his sword to thrust him to the wall before retracting it out of his injured heart and taking a moment to breathe, before he was immediately surrounded by a dark aura that enhanced all his magical, physical and mental attributes hundredfold. He had given in to Abaddon.
~~~
OOC:
Abaddon is the fallen angel in the Darkforce Dimension who can give Damian more power than he already has. So if Damian requests for power, Abaddon will give him that power at the expense of control. Which Abaddon will have, to destroy Damian's enemy in Damian's body. If 'Abaddon'(the name) is already used for something in this RP, I'll change the name.
I walk past the troops in the room, only taking a chance none of them would punch me. Diablo's taking far too long with his deal. As I exit the room, the water vanishes, and my coloring returns to red. This human form obviously gives people the wrong idea. I change into my Beast form, the form of a white and red Snarbolax. I go on all fours, my paws hitting the ground silently until I feel something pulling in the back of my mind. I change to my human form, and sit on the ground, back against the wall. Tears, falling from my eyes and landing on the floor, giving off a turquoise glow as I feel my coloring change again.
I cry, alone in the tunnel. I remember too much. I wish I didn't remember. I bang my fist on the concrete, cracks spreading. What day? What month? What year? Each mission seems harder. So many memories...and no one who shares them...well, the Star Dragon does, but he barely has time to talk to me. I've never met any of his other helpers. He tells me there are more. I seem to be so alone all the time.
Abandoned by parents, by my only love, by friends, by life and death. The Gods, giving me jobs, yet all have turned their backs at my inner pain. My path, behind me, before me, eradicated.
I curl into a ball, and sleep....
OOC: Sorry guys.... I have been grounded.... That's why i didnt post. Well, if my post has weird spelling or anything, sorry, 'cuz I'm using a phone....
I was startled back into reality from a soft weeping. I glance up to see Gwen weeping into her hands. I scoot to her, then remove her hands from her face. "Hey, Gwen." I wrap my arms around her, then whisper, "Please, don't cry. You haven't failed anything, ya know?" Before I knew whatI was doing, I kissed Gwen quickly on the cheek, "Please."
She sniffled and wiped the half-frozen tears from her eyes. "Okay." She grimaced and reciprocated his move, wrapping her arms around him. "It's so cold..."
[the rest of this post was redacted. Topoyozariane, mind doing the same?]
As Euclid and Dmatter ran, Little-Lance and Travid met up with them. "Hey guys!" Lance exclaimed. Euclid said breathlessly, "Run! The guards are after us!" They raced down the corridors, desperately looking for the armory. They found it, and darted inside, shut the door, and locked it. "That should keep that monster out," Euclid hoped aloud. They quickly searched for their gear, and thankfully managed to find everything. With only about five minutes to spare, they opened the door, checked for the big guard, and darted back down the corridors. They raced to the prison entrance, and stopped short.
They were surrounded by soldiers.
Gunfire erupted, and they darted for cover. "Okay, we need a plan B. There's a window over there; think we can break it?" Euclid asked. Lance winced from a ricochet and noted, "It's probably a tough window, cap'. It'll take some concentrated gunfire to break it." Euclid grinned and replied, "Then what are we waiting for?" He leaped out of cover in front of the window. Several guards fired off Magnus rounds at him, which Euclid dashed away from. They struck the window and shattered it, showering glass in every direction. "NOW!!" Euclid shouted. He grabbed his Blaster and fired at the guards, forcing them to take cover and giving his squad time to get out. When the last man had climbed through the window, Euclid jumped through and landed on the concrete.
He groaned, picked himself up, and the squad raced to the fence. It was formerly electrified, but the rounds that broke the window also broke the fence. They climbed over it and into the forest.
Once they had gotten a sufficiently safe distance away and had taken cover in a cave, they collapsed on the ground, exhausted and relieved to be free.
Well, not so fast - the big guard had somehow tracked them all the way here. Lance cried out in dismay, and they wearily took battle positions.
OOC: since no one else here is the one that follows Damian to Diablo's mansion, I guess Kirito will have to do it! >:3
Kirito
I sigh at Axis. He's up to something, I know it. Shaking my head, I turn around to see Damian... What the f*ck?! What's with the portal?! Damian beckons to me, and I give him a suspicious glare. He mouths the word "Gwen," and my eyes widen. Could he know where she was? I finally relent and shrug. I nod and follow him into the spiraling black portal.
I've got to find Gwen.
OOC: Really, Thin! You should have said something in the discussion thread! I didn't see it! I was just gazing when your thing about redacting caught my eye!
My coloring remembers it's bright red, as I stand up from the tunnel. "It's time." I say, beginning to walk. I am only thirty yards from my original spot when I hear it. The sound of Gwen's heart. Beneath me. I cast my shadowy cloak around myself, and vanish.
I stand at the very back of the cell, looking from Gwen to Top. I watch them to see what they do. It might give me an update on the situation, and perhaps then I'll know their strengths and weakness to prepare them for the oncoming-BOOM!
The house blocks a bit of the noise, but I hear the thunder quite clearly. The storm is brewing, and soon these people will have to fight to survive. But not until they discover the plot set down by Diablo. When that is done, there'll be bigger things to worry about.
The spare Crystal Energy from the Crystallizer being shut down will have to go somewhere. It's sad that I know where. The Star Dragon promised me some of the power, since he didn't want to leave enough for the Isorians to realize the nuclear weapons they could create. But there are a few people who will have to absorb the power as well. That's what the prophecy spoke of, isn't it?
Life will be extended.
Someone is trying to get in contact with me, I sense it. Time is slightly isolated right now, but someone could get through if they needed to. I look back up to Top and Gwen. I'm losing focus. I gotta stay here, can't keep going forward. I sit down, making no sound, not even breathing properly. I'll see how they get out of the situation. Or maybe I might be lucky enough to find Diablo. I need to get him and Gwen to have a proper conversation. I'll need to be in the room too, of course. It'd be much easier on the Star Dragon to patch it up...
A few horrified screams echoed throughout the council hall as the deformed beast broke through the stain glass window. Even more joined the chorus of fear as the beast dragged Seatus out into the oncoming dusk. "What in Vog's name WAS that?" A councilman cried as soon as the beast had taken it's leave along with the startled Seatus. I just sat back and viewed the situation. Whatever that thing was, it had come for, and because of Seatus. I had no doubt in my mind that if what Seatus said was true, he had inevitably done damage to our timeline. Readdressing the current matter at hand, I quickly took the podium. "Calm down, the last thing we need is to lose our heads." I said smoothly. Just as I had spoken, Gwen had rushed out to confront whatever had burst through the window.
"I suggest that most of you stay here and start emergency protocol, if any of you wish to go reclaim our time traveling guest, feel free to follow me." I said, still keeping an air of control. As I rushed out of the doors, I saw Gwen chasing the beast throughout the town, then eventually stop. I intercepted the three distant figures, and stopped in revolt. The creature looked even more disgusting up close, it literally looked like it had decayed away. The energy levels I was picking up were high, but it wasn't the usual lively feel that energy had, it felt death but it stunk of something else.....was it sorrow? I chased the thought out of my head and addressed the figure. But right before I spoke Seatus reeled back in shock, and said something about there being more. "Who are you, and what business do you have charging into the council and taking someone?" I said defiantly, drawing the Destroyer and pointing it at the rotting figure.
